BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO HAS SAID IT SEVERALLY THAT ONE OF THE SECRETS OF THIS COMMISSION IS THAT WE ARE IN THE CENTRE OF THE CENTRE OF GOD’S PLAN. THAT IS WHAT MAKES A DESTINY TO FLOURISH.

HE ALSO SAID “YOUR FUTURE IS NOT IN YOUR PLAN BUT IN HIS PLAN.” THE BEST IS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH GOD.

YOU ARE NOT A BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT. YOUR ARRIVAL ON THE EARTH AND YOUR SALVATION INTO THE KINGDOM IS A FACT THAT THERE IS A CONCLUDED PLAN.

BEFORE YOU WERE BORN, THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED.
GOD’S AGENDA FOR YOUR LIFE IS ALREADY PRE-PACKAGED.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU IS TO DISCOVER IT AND BEGIN TO WALK IN THE PURSUIT OF IT.

-Pastor David Oyedepo Jr, Midweek Service, Canaanland

Our Father, tonight we thank You for the blessing of being in Your presence tonight. We give all the glory unto Your holy name. Our eyes are on You tonight, ready to receive Your Word. By Your Word tonight, let everyone of our lives be changed. We give all the praise and glory to Your name, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

We just heard the prophetic theme of the month read to us and it is captioned: GOD’S PLAN FOR ME IS IN HIS BOOK.
Can we declare it together, “God’s plan for me is in His Book.”
Can you declare it with life right now, “God’s plan for me is in His Book.”
You will secure His plan and You will fulfill His plan, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are going to be looking in our Midweek Services at these series of teachings captioned:
UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF VISION
It is fundamental for every believer to know that God has a plan for our lives.
Jeremiah 29:11
You are not a biological accident. Church Gist. You are here, designed by God on purpose. God has a plan for your life and my life; that simply is one of the fundamentals that you and I must come to understand. As a result of that, like God’s servant, our father has said over the years, “Your future is not in your plan but in His plan.” The best is only available with God. That is why for anyone to have a true future, that individual must genuinely be following God’s plan.
Romans 8:29-30
Every child of God has a glorious destiny. There is a glorious plan with God available for our lives. It is important for us to understand however that the journey towards the plan of God begins with discovery. In other words, you don’t determine the plan, you discover the plan. You seek it out and you discover it.
Jeremiah 33:3 – call unto Me and I will answer you.
We have come to discover from God’s Word that God has things that we don’t know, that we must have revealed to us: the plans of God, the purposes of God, the agenda of God.
-I pray that for each one of us, that plan, that purpose, that agenda for each one of our lives, whatever is yet to be revealed, this shall be the season of unveiling.

From scriptures, we discover that God’s plan for our lives is not only unveiled through the Word but also through vision.
Psalm 119:105
God’s Word unveils the way, the plan, the agenda. But also, the plan of God is unveiled through vision.
Habakkuk 2:1-3
We see from scriptures that God unveils His plan via His Word and also via vision.

Quickly tonight, what is the difference between vision and revelation
First of all, we discover that when one accesses God’s plan through the Word, it is called revelation – Hebrews 10:7
When we find it in His Word, when it is discovered through the Word, it is referred to as revelation. Church Gist. The eyes of our understanding suddenly opens to the plan and agenda of God.
We have an example in Jesus – Luke 4:17-21
He found it in the Book and then fulfillment began to manifest. We discover that when it is found in the Book, we refer to it as revelation.

We also discover that when one has a raw encounter with God on the way forward, it is called vision. We have examples in scriptures.
We begin with the example of Moses – Exodus 3:7-10
It was a raw visitation and that raw visitation propelled Moses on a journey towards the fulfillment of vision.
-I pray that for us in this season, there shall be many unveilings of God’s visitations.
-There shall be multiple unveilings of raw visitations.

We have an example of Paul the Apostle in scriptures – Acts 9:1-6
When Paul began to refer to this experience in Acts chapter 26 verse 19, he said, “I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.”
When it is a raw visitation, we refer to it as vison. Church Gist. That is the difference between vision and revelation.

It is vital and important for us to understand that questions such as one’s specific assignment; location as to where it is to be carried out; the timing, when one is to set out: all that is requiring answers will always require you and I to gain access to vision where God dictates and tells us exactly what concerns us.
-That is why I pray for anyone of us that is yet to have secured the direction, the vision that God has for each one of our lives, may this season be for us a season of raw unveilings.
-For those who have received, God is a multiplier of visions, may this be a season for multiplication of vision.

Quickly:
WHY DO WE NEED VISION?

  1. No one knows tomorrow like God who creates tomorrow. No one knows it.
    Isaiah 46:9-10
“Declaring the end”: so tomorrow is already past tense to God. He is the Creator of tomorrow. No one can navigate your future like the One who has finished it. Church Gist. That is why if you are going to make the most out of life, you need to gain access to the One who knows tomorrow. There is nothing that takes God by surprise. He has already declared from ancient times the things that shall be.
If you are going to make the most of your tomorrow, then you must go to the One who knows tomorrow.
    Psalm 31:15.
Isaiah 25:1 – You have said it in the past, it is happening. That is what Isaiah was saying. You are dealing with a God that is the Creator of tomorrow. What that means is that God does not create things, He creates time and the Creator of time is the only trustworthy custodian of your time. That is why we go for vision. We need it because He is the only One that knows tomorrow. Today is the 5th of January, God has finished it already, before now. So it means that if you are going to have 6th (January) secured, go to the One who finished 5th (January). He is the One who can get you through it.
-My prayer is that no one here will lose access to the channel of vision.

God is not only the Creator of things, but the Creator of times. He is the timeless God, meaning that He is the time Creator. He is in charge of it, He is the One who looks into the tomorrow and finishes it and then comes into your today, to declare it.
-No one here will lose out on the channel of vision.

  1. The second reason is no one knows the future like the One who creates it.
God does not only create time ahead, but He prepares your future ahead.
Jeremiah 29:11 – “…to give you an expected end.”
The difference is this: when man plans, he makes projections. He is making assumptions concerning the future. When God declares, it is because He has finished making preparations, He has concluded it.
    1 Corinthians 2:9
The future is already prepared. It is packaged, it is already finished with God.
God does not only know times, but God has prepared future available for us. That is why we need to go to the channel of vision and gain access to the future that He has prepared.
    Romans 8;19-21
What is God saying? Everything you are ordained to manifest is already prepared. The only thing that is required of you is to gain access to the channel of vision where what He has prepared is unveiled to you and you can begin to walk in the fulfillment of it.
-My prayer is that for each one of us, you will begin to see the channel of vision that will make you walk in the fulfillment of it.

Jeremiah 1:5 – “…I knew.” Take note of the word, ‘knew’. Knew is past tense. Before you were formed, that is before conception, there was already a conclusion of the future of this man (Jeremiah).
That is what God is saying to you and to me: He already finished the plan, not before your birth day, but before your conception. There is an available plan. You are not a biological accident. Your arrival on the earth and your salvation into the Kingdom is a fact that there is a concluded plan and all that is required is for you and I to make plug into it.

What about Paul the Apostle – Galatians 1:15
“…separated me from my mother’s womb”: That is before I was born, the matter was concluded. That is God’s agenda for your life is already pre-packaged. What is required of you is to discover it and begin to walk in the pursuit of it.
-My prayer is that each one of us will gain access to the channel of vision.

HOW DO WE ACCESS GOD’S VISION FOR OUR LIVES?
We will look at 2 keys this evening:

  1. You must desire access to vision.
It begins with a desire – Proverbs 18:1
The things that are packaged in the heart and in the mind of God are accessed when man’s desire is drawn towards God.
    2 Chronicles 15:15
If you are going to gain access to the secret with God, then you must have a desire. That is the starting point.
    Mark 11:24
Before the prayer, there must be a desire. Church Gist. Where desire is absent, the prayer will be barren. You must have a genuine desire to gain access to the plan of God. You must recognize that your future is not in your plan. Your future is in His plan and you must have a genuine desire that is driven towards securing His plan for your life.
This is so important, the potency of your desire determines the clarity of your access. When your desire is potent, your access is clear. So it starts with a desire.
John the Beloved said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day”, with my whole desire there and “I heard” – Revelation 1:10
If you read that scripture, it tells us that he went to the Isle of Patmos for the Word of the Lord – Revelation 1:9
You must have a desire, a desire in your heart to gain access to His plan, “Lord, what is the plan?”
Let it come from a genuine desire. The moment the channel of your desire is in place, God opens up access to the visions that concern you.
-My prayer is that for each one of us, as our desire is tuned up to heaven, God will begin to unveil to you the things that you do not know.
  2. You must engage the altar of prayer to secure access.
Desire is there, but the next step from desire is prayer.
    Habakkuk 2:1-3
Standing upon the tower represents prayer. What God is saying to us from that passage of scripture is that as we engage the altar of prayer, we gain access to the visions of God.
    Jeremiah 29:11-13
From this passage of scripture, it is clear that when it comes to accessing the plan of God, there is a demand for the altar of prayer. We must come to God with our prayer, going before Him, presenting those desires of our heart: Lord, I desire to know what Your plan and Your agenda is for my life.
This is a vital tool. Church Gist. Remember, only those who ask questions are entitled to answers. If you don’t go with a demand, don’t expect a delivery. You must go on the altar of prayer, making demands on the One who knows tomorrow, to unveil tomorrow. We must go with that at heart.
    Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 7:7-8
What God is showing to us tonight is simple, if we can approach Him with sincerity on the altar of prayer, He will give you and I clarity in the area of vision. Just approach Him in prayer. Refuse to go by guesswork. Church Gist. To assume the future is to doom the future. Go before God and make genuine request, clarifying what it is, the areas of life that you want Him to reveal to you.
God’s servant, our father, has said many times, that the secret among others of this Commission is that we are in the centre of the centre of God’s plan. That is what makes a destiny to flourish. But to be in the centre of His plan, you must go to Him in prayer for His plan.
-I pray that in this month in particular, whatever is still a mystery concerning the plan of God for your life, that is yet to there, this season will be the season of clarity.
