It is God’s leading that secures our glorious, enviable, mountain top destiny in redemption. He leads us the way there. They are real but He leads us to access them. In the precious name of Jesus, you will not sell your future. Church Gist. Romans 8:14.
– No one will doubt your sonship of the Lord again.
– It will keep showing in every aspect of your life in the name of Jesus.
Jesus, we are all gathered at your feet as the Shepherd of our soul, lead us forward today. Lead everyone out of the dungeon of misfortune. Show the way out for every entrapped individual. Take all the praise in Jesus name.
When He leads, He said you shall go in and come out and find pasture. He leads us to where the refreshing is waiting. He will lead us today.
UNDERSTANDING THE BENEFITS OF DIVINE DIRECTION 2
Let recognize the following scriptural facts as we begin. Every seed of Abraham is ordained a global citizen. Something very interesting. Jesus said not all men can receive these sayings but onto them to whom it is given. There are things some cannot receive. Church Gist. You have to be spiritual to receive spiritual things. You have to have a spiritual perspective to embrace spiritual things. People want to embrace what they can see, no! It is embracing what He shows that determines what you can see.
When I was 23, the Lord showed me that my future is in His plan not my plan. I didn’t look like anybody with any future but I heard it from His Word. So I knew I heard a future if I will only follow what He tells me to do. I was 30 when I heard from the Word that there is a place for me on top if I am interested. I said I am interested. Then whatever I tell you to do, do it. May no one miss his way. Church Gist. God’s principal way of guiding us is by His Word. I saw myself on top of the world when I was below zero level by human assessment. I embraced that reality with everything inside me. People want to wait to see, you believe to see. He said if I had not believed to see the glory of God.
You are redeemed as a global citizen as a seed of Abraham. “And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” Christ came and said you are the light of the world, not the light of your village. You are the salt of the earth, not the salt of your town. All saying the same thing. By redemption, I am the seed of Abraham redeemed as a global citizen. Galatians 3:29. If you are Abraham’s seed, then you do the works of Abraham. Abraham will move at the instruction of God any day, any time and on time. Prompt response is what differentiates Abraham’s faith from the faith of many today. ‘I will do it later, I am coming.’ You never came. Light has a lifespan. After the daybreak comes the nightfall. Church Gist. Don’t let the night fall on the truth you claim to believe. Don’t let the night fall on it, it will not deliver. Work while you have light lest it be turned to darkness. So there is a time frame. For instance, we have the ongoing OPERATION LIVING SACRIFICE, some have forgotten. “What is Operation Living Sacrifice? I am not sacrificing anything.” He is selling an opportunity of a lifetime that may not reoccur. Even God can’t make you believe what you don’t want to believe and what you don’t believe, He cannot do for you. Over to you.
I saw myself as a global citizen from the Word. I was not a local citizen when I saw myself as a global citizen. You are going forward. Every mentality of mediocrity, God will crush it. Who could have thought that Joseph would reign in Egypt? Joseph saw himself as reigning so he had royal behaviours, a royal lifestyle. Nobody else believed in him but he believed in it. My journey is not ending in Potiphar’s house. My journey is not ending in this prison. Church Gist. So every morning “Why are you so sad, come on cheer up.” He was a king prisoner. You have a royal destiny in Christ, we all are. Out of every tribe, every tongue. There is no racial discrimination. Revelation 5:9-10. But you have to receive it and believe it, so you can be empowered to become it. You have a glorious destiny in Christ, no matter what you look like now, it doesn’t change that. All you need is to embrace that Word and what it takes to take delivery of it. No one will sell off his future.
Also, every seed of Abraham is a spiritual eagle ordained to soar above the clouds. Deuteronomy 32:9-14. God is our Father Eagle, we are His baby eaglets. He wasn’t led by circumstances, He wasn’t led by the vogue or the in thing – what’s happening in the world now. The Lord alone did lead him and there was no strange God with him. He made him by leading him. If only I will keep following His leading, I shall be made. Made to ride in the high places of the earth. Church Gist. Made to soar above the clouds where the storms here cannot affect you, where the fire burning on the earth cannot reach you. Church Gist. You’ll never hear that an eagle was burnt by fire, how? It’s up on the mountain. Church Gist. Even when it’s resting, it’s not near the earth. When it spreads its wings, it just goes up and be smiling. The Lord alone did lead him.
At 22, I heard the voice of the Spirit clear and clean, first time, “go forward, make a left and make a left” and led me in a town without asking any human person wherever I was looking for was. Church Gist. God still speaks today but only those in the spirit can hear Him. Carnal people can’t hear him. You’re going forward. Never attempt to lead yourself, it often leads to a crash. No one will crash here. Proverbs 14:12. No one will walk the way of death here, in the name of Jesus.
When He brought Israel out on their way to the Promised Land, He was leading them by the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. That journey wouldn’t take 40 years but He was leading them step by step. We were told here in Numbers 9:15-23, whatever time the cloud rested, the people rested. Church Gist. It can be for one week, three days or a year. They were keeping pace with the movement of the cloud, so the wild beast could not reach them. They were covered by day by the Cloud of Glory and shielded in the night by the pillar of fire and so they moved till they got to the Promised Land. You won’t miss your Promised Land. Our Promised Land today is Heaven, you won’t miss it. No one will miss it. Church Gist. We shall be there together. But they were led by the spirit of God on that journey and they were covered supernaturally, dignified. Not one person has a swollen leg. That cloth didn’t wear on their body yet they had no access to town to buy any cloth. How were they doing it? Isaiah 48:21. Exodus 13:17. Church Gist. People look for shortcut a lot. That’s a lot of breakaway pastors in Church, they’re looking for shortcuts. No one is born an adult. You’re born as babies and you grow.
My son, Pastor Theodore is here, he was one of the first 4 members of this Church, no games. I’ve been around a few years and I know the lot of breakaway people, they always end up frustrated, most of them throw away Jesus. Church Gist. Don’t earn a First Class at Covenant University and go and be doing as a CEO of a bank, that will end your destiny. You go and rent a house that CEOs rent, you have finished your future, you have eaten it.
Not that somebody told me about this Church, I saw it from the beginning. It’s me Jesus gave the name by saying, “Jesus, what name will you have this Church called”? He said, “Living Faith Church”. He told me ’81 the living faith is the winning faith and the winning faith is the acting faith, that’s the faith of God. We were invading Lagos, what shall it be called? “Winners Chapel”. No games. Church Gist. In case you’re confused, read The Mandate , you’ll see how the Founder tells His own story that cannot be faulted and has been told over and over the years. Please, be led. You’re going places.
This is not a fabricated Church oh, it’s the Church of Jesus. Some folks took our Church to a very strong Confederacy and they called me and I said, “look, rent another place”. We own that property oh but they used their power. I said, “rent a place for services, God is big enough to defend Himself”. Church Gist. He came in a very drastic manner, He came and rubbed vengeance to show that He was in charge. Fear gripped them, they handed over our property to us. That’s when you’re led, you’re relaxed. Allow Jesus to lead you. If you don’t know what to pray, pray, “Lord, lead me the way you lead your servant because everything he said God for him to do is working, lead me the way you lead him”. Church Gist. How can you be a son or daughter of Christ for 20-30 years and you have never heard the voice of God? You read the Bible, you can’t hear anything from it? No, it’s not right. Somebody’s story is changing. No one here will miss his steps. Thank you Jesus.
Our destiny in the Kingdom has no ceilings. Proverbs 4:18. Wherever you are today is a stepping stone to the next, allow Him to lead your way forward. Some fellow said, “you’re rich” you’re rich for nothing”. he said, “not knowing that you’re poor and wretched and naked when compared with what I have in stock for you”, you’re not there yet, I’m not there yet. John 14:12. Church Gist. Matthew 11:11. Abraham was born of a woman, Isaac was born of a woman and Jesus said in Matthew 11:11. I mean, Daniel was born of a woman and He said, what is in you is greater than what Daniel had. You’re going forward. If you don’t see such future, you’ll be nodding your head like that red lizard that came down from an iroko tree and began to nod his head. There are greater days ahead of you. Church Gist. Some are affecting a nation today, you’ll affect a continent tomorrow. Some are affecting a continent today, you’ll affect the world tomorrow. Because “as far as your eyes can see, unto you will I give it”. That’s why divine guidance is vital. Your future is bigger than your head. You can imagine me writing down that at the base of this ministry, a Tabernacle shall be built that will sit 50,000 people. Church Gist. We were 68 in that meeting oh, eating with plastic spoons and plates that were borrowed. “This ministry is not limited to this nation but to other nations of the world”, when it has no footing, in a village. Genesis 13:15. Church Gist. May your eyes be opened today. At this Communion table, anyone who has put a ceiling on his destiny, that ceiling is lifted!
Beware, every step you take is either to your advantage or disadvantage. Beware! Isaiah 30:1-3. “They didn’t ask of me, they just carried their luggage. They didn’t ask me, they just leave one business to another one and getting there to discover that all the things he had done before in his life, all gone”. Church Gist. You and I are most unqualified to lead our way into the future. Let the one who creates the future lead you. You’re getting there. You’ll say, “what do I do then?” Before you hear what He’s saying, keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t craft words and say God told you. Jeremiah 2:13-17. It’s devastating to attempt to lead yourself. Church Gist. My prayer today is that each one’s spiritual ears be opened to know His voice. The crown of your head shall not be broken! You’ll not be spoiled by spoilers.
From the Story of the Eagle, divine direction is a covenant highway to our high places. The Eagle is not any special bird but it takes advantage of the direction of the wind, so it rides on the wind. Church Gist. Other birds don’t care where the wind is coming from till they cleave their wings. The Eagle spreads its wings and the wind carries them.
-That’s how you’ll be carried from now. The Wind of the Spirit will keep carrying you forward in the name of Jesus Christ.
Sir, you cannot be destroyed on your path when you locate your path and stay there. Joel 2:7-8. You cannot be wounded, you cannot be assaulted, you cannot be destroyed when you’re on the path the Lord leads you. Church Gist. And that’s why following divine direction is key to arriving at the fullness of God’s plan and purpose for our lives as we saw in the case of Isaac. Genesis 26:1-3; 12-14.
-And that’s you!
As we keep following God, He keeps changing our levels. 2 Corinthians 3:18. When He led them, they knew no lack, He was feeding them twice a day. Church Gist. Exodus 16:8. Twice a day! Bread in the morning, flesh in the evening till they got to the Gate of Canaan. Exodus 16:35. Free food for 36 years!
-You won’t beg for what to eat.
As He led them, He kept supplying their needs without their sweat. That is the Story of this Commission sir. The leading of God, just opening doors of favour at every stage.
-Because you onboard this flight, that becomes your portion!
Let’s look at a few benefits of divine direction:
1. Divine direction secures supernatural restoration.
You’ve been robbed of some things, “Lord Jesus! What do I do at this point?” That was the prayer of David after they lost the City of Ziklag to their enemies. 1 Samuel 30:6-9; 17-18. God leads us into supernatural restoration. Church Gist. One of us here gave a testimony, 19 years he was thrown out of his job unjustly and the God of restoration came. By knowing what to do, he kept engaging, serving the Lord and God said: “No! I’ll restore you.” And God restored the years that the Locust has eaten, the Caterpillar and the Palmerworm. He recovered all. He was paid all his salaries for 19 years, all his projected promotion, paid at once. There is nothing too hard for God!
-Many are due for restoration here, you shall be awesomely restored! What you have lost will come back to you in grand style.
You saw a broken marriage here for 9 years, every effort to put it together failed but she knew what to do and she did and called the walk-away husband: “Can you come and pick me from Church?” Not that they see oh! Church Gist. He said: “I’m coming!” They are both in Church today after 9 years. By knowing which way to go!
-Now listen! Many will secure supernatural restoration during this ongoing Operation. Suddenly, the things that you’ve been looking for will come to you.
2. It secures supernatural supplies.
Luke 22:35. When you’re going in the direction He leads, you lack nothing. Church Gist. Psalm 23:1-3. Divine supplies attend to everyone being led by the Spirit.
-Divine supplies! And that’s your portion.
Isaiah 48:21. Nothing should be working in that Place but He led them. Because He was leading them, nothing was lacking to them.
-That’s your story.
3. It secures a stress-free life.
Psalm 25:9-13.
-From this time onward, your soul shall dwell at peace! No more tensions!
Because when God leads, all our ways are ways of pleasantness and all our ways are peace. Proverbs 3:17.
-That’s your new realm.
Any time you see tension here, just watch. Is the Lord the One leading me or I’m leading myself? Church Gist. Misdirection is like swimming against the tides and victims often get drowned.
-You will not be drowned.
Now, this is the bottom line. 1 Corinthians 2:4. Romans 8:6. Please wake up to an active spiritual life, it’s for your benefit. Secondly, if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit because He can talk to us at any time. Church Gist. Galatians 5:25. All that we call Lagos Invasion today, came to me in the bathroom. Now, God is shaking Africa by His grace through this Commission. It came in a vehicle travelling from Zaria to Kaduna. He can talk to you at any time, therefore endeavour to stay in the Spirit. Revelation 1:10. Endeavour to stay in the Spirit to pick the voice of the Master.
-You’re going places.
-PRAYERS
Today is our Financial Fortune Banquet. I’d like you to listen to this Prophet. I’m not a teacher of prosperity, I’m sent as a messenger: “Arise! Get back home and make My people rich.” It came to me live in that Hotel Room in the U.S. on 26th August 1987. Church Gist. I abandoned everything and rushed back home. The feelings of those I was to minister in their places notwithstanding. He said: “Get back home.” I can’t stay one more minute. So, I’m sent as a messenger of the Most High God to open up the financial destiny of God’s people and it shows today. It shows in the lives of many today.
Now, listen to me you may own a car, without the Key to the Car, you can’t drive. If your domestic staff has the Key to your house and you arrive there earlier, you’ll wait. It’s your house oh, he is not the owner but he has the Key. It’s those who have the Key that can open the Door. Church Gist. I have been in it before where we got home and the people holding the key are not there; we stayed. There is no way to enter. You will just be angry and then be happy, be angry and be happy. You can’t do anything about it.
Now, let me tell you something, He gave me the key. He gave me the key before He sent me on an errand. Church Gist. That key has opened up the financial destiny of many across the nations – many in ministry, in business, in profession and career. It has opened the door to financial fortune to many. Luke 11:52.
Entrance into anything God has provided requires a key and it’s the key of knowledge. The key of knowledge! 43 years ago, March 22nd, 1982 the Lord delivered to me the key. 1987, He gave me a mandate to engage that key to open the door to many. I went on a 3-day prayer, fasting and searching. “Lord, what’s the secret of Kingdom prosperity?” Then, He came down on the third day, “my son, my prosperity plan is not a promise, it does not answer to prayers (Stop breaking your head – when it’s prosperity, prayer won’t answer it). It’s not a promise. It has no respect for fasting. My prosperity plan is a covenant; until your part is played, I am not committed.” How many have heard that several times? Has it been edited? Don’t engage in a make up.
You want to know the history of my diverse encounters, go to the Mandate – see how the Founder tells his own story. It cannot be faulted. I was in it; I have shared it over the years. Please, you need the key. Don’t fake the key. Church Gist. This key that has no cognisance of personalities no matter who they are, of institutions like banks, of governments – nothing. Direct key! The key of David, He called it that opens that no man shuts and shuts that no man opens.
– That’s the key you are returning home with!
Deuteronomy 8:18…that’s when He broke open that mystery. It delivers on the platform of a covenant. What is the covenant? The covenant of seed time and harvest which also connotes the covenant of sowing and reaping according to 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Church Gist. It also connotes the covenant of giving and receiving. Philippians 4:15-19. Sir, any other method you use is a wrong key. Any other strategy you use is a wrong key. Connecting with uncles and cousins is a wrong key. Any other method any believer uses is a wrong key.
We used to have a safe one time in my office. They lost the combination (you know the combination of turn this way, turn that way). There was something there, we can’t access it – the key is missing and it’s iron safe or what they call it – steel. You know steel? Church Gist. I don’t know what they did about it. But it was my own private something, I don’t know who gave them to be turning the keys. But we couldn’t open (it) so we couldn’t access it.
There are many things that are yours, just that the key is missing. The combination is lost. It’s time to get back there sir. Church Gist. All around the World, outside of Faith Tabernacle, outside of Nigeria; many have entered into this thing by acknowledging the key that Jesus gave. It’s your turn!
– The good news is that you are returning with that key from this Service!
There was famine in the days of our covenant fathers but they were always exempted from the horror of hard times. Always! There was famine in the days of Isaac – he prevailed in spite of the famine. There was famine in the days of Jacob. The famine was sore (and) grievous in the land. Church Gist. In the midst of it, Jacob was importing food for his family. He said, “take double money with you. Double money – there is nothing we are doing with money here. Take double money.” In the midst of famine! Genesis 43.
Famine was biting the hardest in the days of Joseph that people were offering themselves for sale. Money failed in the land. Genesis 47:15. Church Gist. But in the midst of economic crash…, (Genesis 47:27) But Israel dwelt in Goshen, they had possessions, grew and multiplied exceedingly in the midst of economic crash. That’s you! That’s how powerful the covenant is against hard times.
The greatest project your Church ever embarked upon as commanded is The Ark. Church Gist. In the midst of economic crash, The Ark is growing without sweat. O my God! That’s your life!
– People may be selling their houses for food, you will be building new houses!
– They may be selling their businesses to send their children to school, you will be acquiring more businesses!
Take your eyes off men if you need help from Heaven. Take your eyes off men. Can anybody ever say that I came to his house or call him on phone from the beginning, “do you have something that God is laying in your heart?” No…and till I go to Heaven. Church Gist. Why? I know my source and I know what it takes to access my supplies.
– You won’t fail anymore!
– Favour will locate you, decorate and over decorate you!
Concerning this Commission today, there is no one to return thanks to on this Earth that “thank you, if not that you are here, how could we have gone through?” There is no such human person living or dead. My son, concerning my small life, I can exchange pleasantries with you – you are not my source. Church Gist. “Hey Eddie, you look fine. Your shoe is heavy.” I can’t exchange that with you. But Eddie, you know you are not my source. Please, awake! This thing does not work by games. Awake!
– You are going places!
– Anybody who may have written your case off will join you to celebrate your triumph!
– Your days of harrowing and struggling, they are finally over!
Interestingly, the covenant does not only empower for wealth but terminates all misfortunes along our path. It terminates all misfortunes. His blessing makes rich and it adds no sorrow. Church Gist. Proverbs 10:22. Some will hate it but I will tell you because it’s the truth. Malachi 3:10-11,18, Malachi 4:1-2…that is, in the midst of a burn down, you will be growing up!
– In the midst of a shutdown, you will be going forward because you are serving God on the platform of the covenant of abundance!
Interestingly Sir, nothing has fallen short in 44 years of ministry. Church Gist. Every year is mysteriously a plus over the previous.
– From today, you will never know a setback anymore in the name of Jesus!
But To Enjoy Financial Fortune:
1. Be spiritually minded. 3 John 2. Your spiritual prosperity is fundamental to your overall prosperity in life. 1 Timothy 4:7-8. Church Gist. Our spiritual prosperity is fundamental to our overall prosperity. Please, mind it.
2. Engage delightsomely in the covenant of sowing and reaping as a lifestyle; not ‘let’s try and see what God will do’…as a lifestyle. Engage delightsomely with the Covenant of abundance, that is, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving, as a lifestyle. Church Gist. Some fellows will say “Hey! There’s nothing like tithing” Just find out where I was coming from, find out when He told me, find out what I’ve been doing with it, then you will know that your grammar is of no meaning. It is this local, primitive thing I trade that they will say “Richest pastor in the world.” Ehen, I say “Oh yes, they are telling the truth, I’m not borrowing and I’m not owing anybody so I’m rich.
– God will decorate your life.
You can’t change the truth. You don’t have capacity for it. Take it or leave it, the truth is the truth. No non-tither is a candidate for financial fortune. “I will open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing until there will be no room enough to take it.” And Jesus placed a stamp on it in Matthew 23:23. ‘All the tithes of the land belongs to the Lord. Church Gist. It shall be holy unto the Lord. You shall not take an ought of it.’ May be it will help you, I earned my last pay in your Church 1987, December. Nobody heard it from my mouth forever until 1996. But by ’91, I already had my own personal accountant so I can pay my tithe accurately. I’ve been in it forever. Nothing changes it. Challenges on the right, left, God’s portion first. He will stop the devourer and keep you going. Can I hear an Amen? Delightsomely o. You are not helping any Church or ministry with your tithe. You are building your future, you are what? You are building your future. Church Gist. We are not a Church of rich people, we are a Church of poor people made rich, poor people made rich. I was among the poor made rich. 1984, our total income was 18,600. My tithe was there. That was our level. Others dropped after one year, some after five years, some after ten years. But He gave me grace to keep going.
-Receive that grace today.
By His grace, there are many homes that draw succour from this man’s blessings; Orphanages, old people’s homes. Not because you are doing birthday – regular. They can’t eat when you’re doing birthday alone. Between now and your next birthday what happens? Church Gist. Thank you Jesus. One time I gave 23 cars out, 23 cars in one sweep. Not that they were in the house, I bought them. Understand this, I need you to become a delight. Always think of how to add value somewhere, first the kingdom of God.
– Somebody’s story is changing.
You can’t copy grace. Grace multiplies by knowledge. You cannot copy grace oh. Grace multiplies by knowledge. 2 Peter 1:2. Church Gist. You can’t copy grace. Just get to know what facilitates the grace you desire and connect with it. Grace cannot be copied, it multiplies by knowledge.
3. Now listen, put your hands to work because whatever thing he doeth, he shall prosper. Sir, put your hands to work. No lazy man has a future in the kingdom. Put your hands to work. “And whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.” God blessed the works of Job’s hand till he became the greatest of all men in the East. Church Gist. Put your hands to work. 2 Thessalonians 3:10. Put your hands to work. No matter what is coming down on you, it will multiply on the works of your hand. Zero multiplied by a million equals what? Zero. Put your hands (to work) Refuse downtime, be a value adding worker. Ecclesiastes 9:10. A woman here was selling waste water bottles, she sold that and sold that and went abroad and had a degree at an old age, sponsored all her children in the University from waste bottles. Church Gist. Young people, hear me! You now sit down in your house, ‘I just thank God. Mum, is my food ready?’ If you’re my mother she’ll say ‘Come and eat me’ I mean, wasting away precious time. When you heard that I taught in Primary School, it’s to fill the time. Downtime brings people down.
– You’ll not go down oh!
So, live your today with a determination, ‘I must put my hands to work. God has no other way of prospering me than through the works of my hand among others. Church Gist. Can I hear your Amen? When things are not working, ask the Lord, ‘Where am I missing it Jesus?’ If you don’t believe you can be wrong, you can never be corrected. ‘What’s wrong with me Jesus?’
5. Walk in financial integrity. Embrace financial integrity as a lifestyle because the curse of the Lord is in the House of the thief. Church Gist. The curse of the Lord is in the House of the thief, it will destroy all the valuables, the wood, the dust and the stones. Levels it out, the curse of the Lord is in the house of the thief. Please, embrace financial integrity as a lifestyle.

6. Be committed to being a blessing. Genesis 12:2. We are blessed to the level we are committed to being a blessing, blessed to the level that one is committed to being a blessing. Consumers are limited in blessings. We are blessed under the Abrahamic Covenant to be a blessing. Church Gist. So, commit yourself to being a blessing. Job was committed to being a blessing to the challenged and God lifted him beyond anybody’s wildest imagination. You’re the one God is talking about. 1 Timothy 6:17-19. Be willing to distribute, ready to communicate. It is more blessed to give than to receive.

7. Be committed to thanksgiving, joy and rejoicing as a lifestyle because when joy withers in the heart, the harvest is destroyed. Joel 1:12. Church Gist. Maintain the joy of the Lord as a lifestyle. There should be an all weather joy. In everything, you give thanks and God is there to take you up.

Habakkuk 3:17-19. With these words in place, the key is now in your hand, go and use it. Church Gist. Keys in the Kingdom is the knowledge of the truth concerning any subject matter that you’re interested in. Your story has changed and it’s changed forever in the name of Jesus.
