WHAT ARE SOME SCRIPTURAL PROPHETIC LIFELINES OF THE REDEEMED?
- We are redeemed to walk in dominion; we are not to be dominated rather we are to dominate. Ephesians 2:6; Ephesians 1:20-22. Church Gist. And that is what is happening to this commission – dominating everywhere. Go to Europe – dominating; America – dominating; South America – dominating.
- We have a wealthy destiny: you see, all these begin with mindset before your seed. Don’t think poor; if not, your seed can’t grow. Some years ago I discovered: I noticed wealthy people don’t speak anyhow. They will never say, “I can’t afford it.” They will rather tell you, “I don’t want it.” Church Gist. They may not have the money, but they know they can afford anything. Wealthy people don’t carry all their wealth in their pocket. So, that you don’t have it at the moment does not mean you can’t afford it. It begins with your mindset. You have a wealthy destiny. He has given you power to get wealth; so you can be as wealthy as you desire.
Haven’t you heard Bishop Oyedepo say, “Many years ago from the beginning days, I will be the richest pastor”? The power to get wealth has been given. And that same power has been given to everyone of us as believers. Church Gist. But before our seed enters the ground, change the mind. Anytime you want to bring transformation to a people, it begins with the mind. Not the hand but the heart.
TWO CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROPHETIC WORD
- Every prophetic word ignites hope: when you receive any prophetic word, hope comes alive. Romans 4:18. That means in a hopeless situation he had hope. Job 14:7. Church Gist. Anytime a man has received the prophetic word, believe the prophetic word, he is watering the prophetic word by praise, the first thing you discover is his face changes – hope comes alive.
- It stimulates joy and rejoicing: suddenly you see a person downcast, and then that prophetic word comes, (Psalms 42:5) he begins to rejoice, and celebrate. Why? The prophetic word has come alive. Church Gist. This is why I know, in this turn around service, as you and I praise God like never before, everything that must turn today will be turned in our favour.
We serve a God of Turnarounds. Psalms 126:1-6. Ezekiel 21:27. Turnaround is not just the agenda of God; it is the character of God. Anything God meets, He turns it around for the better. Church Gist. None of us have seen God’s best yet. No matter what you have seen, it is not God’s best. Today as we praise Him, in this Showers of Blessings service, He will yet turn it around again.
THREE KEYS FOR TURNAROUND

- Keep loving God and continue to prove that you do.
