God is committed to leading us in the way to go.
“…I will instruct thee in the way that thou shouldst go, I will guide thee with my eyes”. God is committed to leading us if we are committed to following Him. Church Gist. He leads nobody by force. “…if you hearken to my voice and follow the way I’m showing you. If, if you choose to… I will set thee on high above all nations of the earth”.
He never forces His way into any man’s life. He never forces anyone to follow Him. He said follow me, he said; “no, no,no. Let me me go and bury my father first. I will think about it. He was going through Samaria and they said, You can’t pass through here, You look like somebody going to Jerusalem, we won’t let You pass through here. He said okay, let’s go through another way. Peter said; call fire. He said no, no, no. Everybody has a right to choose.
I am committed to leading you… God said to me, if you are committed to following me, October 1, 1983. God will never be anymore committed to leading you than you are committed to following Him. Church Gist. You can take the Bible and remove some chapters there in your own Bible, it hasn’t remove the one that God gave. You may look at a chapter and remove verses there; “I don’t like this”. You don’t have to like it. Choose to do what it says or pay the price.
God wants to lead you and me. He leads His own sheep out, He goes before them. He is committed. He wants to shepherd your life to glory and colour.
- You will not miss it.
- None of us will miss it.
It is a life long journey, it’s not you follow for a while and then you stop. If you go to school and then you are there; 400 level, you are supposed to finish that program but you disappeared, the last semester but one. There is no evidence that you went to school. You have wasted three and a half years or semesters for nothing.
If you leave after the mid-semester of the last session, you have gone three and a half semesters. 7 semesters remaining only one or half, you’ve lost it all. When you stop following, God stops leading. When God stops leading, any man is stranded.
- No one here shall be stranded.
Please lift up your two hands and commit yourself to the leading of God. Renew your commitment to let God have His way in your life. In Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
Lord Jesus, visit us by Your word tonight and get us off our own ways unto Your own ways. Church Gist. Let the Word tonight mark the end of trial by error in anyone’s life. Lord, let Your word humble everyone of us tonight, to know that You know better than anyone of us. So let it be.
As He leads, He said you shall not want. He will make you lie down in green pastures, no tension, no pressure. He will refresh your soul. May all the blessings that follow divine guidance begin to manifest in our lives in a new and living way in the name of Jesus Christ and so shall it be. In Jesus name.

Understand the wonders that accompany divine direction and quite a few things have been passed across to us in this series and this is part 5 of it. According to the Word of God, we are redeemed to be a blessing to our world and not a burden …and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed and if you be Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise (Genesis 22:18, Galatians 3:29).
Say with me:
I am redeemed a blessing to my world and not a burden. I am redeemed a news maker, not a nuisance.
That’s how gorgeous our destiny is in redemption …and in thy seed and you are a seed of Abraham …shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Kings and nations shall come out of thy loins. Church Gist. Genesis 17:5-6, talking about Abraham, your name shall no longer be Abram but Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee and I will make thee exceeding fruitful and I will make nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee – kings, nations; men like nations.
A little one shall become a thousand and a small one a strong nation, not just nation – strong nation. We are in the days of those strange happenings where men and women like nations will be rising in the body of Christ.

So we are living to reign as kings on the earth, not as slaves. Revelation 5:10
We are redeemed to be more than conquerors, not men and women struggling for survival – more than conquerors because by redemption, we have been raised up together with Him and made us sit together in heavenly places. Far above where men struggle for what to eat, what to drink, where to sleep. Far above the troublers of mankind: principalities and power, the power of darkness – far above (Ephesians 2:6, Ephesians 1: 20-21).
We are redeemed to be more than conquerors. Paul said; nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8:37). But it will take being led to arrive there. Church Gist. We can’t access a glorious destiny without being led there. Abraham was led into greatness step by step (Genesis 12) and so Abraham departed – led step by step. Chapter 17, I want to make a covenant with you; Abraham just took off and accepted his part of that covenant. Chapter 22, the costliest, …bring your only son to Me and offer him as a burnt sacrifice. Abraham rose up early in the morning, he was led step by into this transgenerational greatness.
We have to be led there. “Isaac, thou shalt not go down to Egypt” – order (Genesis 26:2-3). Don’t carry your luggage and run to Germany; if it is not where you are led, you will pay for it. God is no respecter of persons. One can waste a whole lot of his life by just going his own way without cross checking from the One who knows tomorrow as clearly as today. Church Gist. He knows the end from the beginning. I don’t know the end, He knows. So let Him lead you and you will never have a cause to regret and we saw what happened to Isaac in the land where God said he should be, in sowing in that land, one year massive turnaround (Genesis 26:12-14). He went, the greatness began to explode the more. They went to him to do business with him; make peace with us. You are mightier than us. You are of the blessed of the Lord, please make a peace treaty with us that you will not overrun us.
He had grown to become a nation that strong nations feared. Allow Him to lead you. It may look funny but my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9) and that’s what makes the way of God the high way of life.
The ways of God are the high ways of life. He made His way known unto Moses and Moses became that eternal high flyer, for no prophet ever rose in Israel like Moses whom the Lord knew face to face. In all those mighty signs and mighty wonders. What! Moses was brought into the mystery of creation with accuracy. Nobody else has it. God buried him, God buried a man.
Jesus saw Moses and Elijah on the mount of transfiguration, straight to Heaven, he took off like Elijah did through satellite. Elijah went by space craft but Moses went by satellite. Church Gist. Nobody could see him but he was there and God said welcome, sit down, take your throne. He followed His leadings step by step into the wonder that he became.
Following God’s leading may appear slow but the end is always sure. The end is always enviable. The end result is always unique. Allow God to lead you, His leading will always engender wonders and wonders without number. Therefore, hold fast unto instructions for it is thy life (Proverbs 4:13).
This is God’s surest guide, God’s manual for most profitable living. His ways are packaged in a book called the Bible. Therefore what we call divine guidance is simply scripturally guidance. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God. The Word was God and the Word became flesh, His name is Jesus. So this is the Father in a mystery, this is the Son in a mystery, this is the Holy Ghost in a mystery. For this was put down by the instrumentality of the Holy Ghost.
…the words I have spoken to you, they are spirit and they are life. So put all of that together, this is divine. Access to this equal to guidance. Access to instruction equal to divine guidance in unmistakable terms.
Psalm 119:105
I early mentioned that the ways of God are the high ways of life. We serve a God of ways. He is the way out of every unwanted situation. He is the way forward when the enemy is resisting our progress. He is the way upward when the forces of hell are trying to oppress us.
John 14:6
We have to check whether His leadings are in order because He leads us through other avenues, we cross-check from here. He said prove all things and hold fast that which is good. So we cross-check from this book. If that leading is contrary to this book, it’s not safe, it is not secure; it is vulnerable.
The Lord alone did lead him, the eagle generation and there was no strange god with them (Deuteronomy 32:11-14). Church Gist. His leadings are the high ways of life to our high places as ordained of God. We are a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. We are not supposed to be down and struggling for survival, allow Him to lead you.
If you let Me lead you, He said I will set on you on high above all nations of the earth. There is nothing to look for anywhere Sir, it is all here in this book. Following the dictates of the book makes you an envy of your generation. This is not trial by error. God’s word is tested seven times in fire, it is in its purest form. Church Gist. I know people are trying to massacre the Word through all kinds of translation, some have even removed the blood from the Bible altogether. So be aware.
Our publishing house only produces King James original Bible. We don’t know Greek, we don’t know Hebrew but we know that one; Thus speaketh the Lord… Everything Jesus died for is there. We are not competing here in grammar. Simple truth, raw truth. Take it to where you are going.
Proverbs 22:29
So, get busy on the task in your hand. Put in your best. Beyond your best you don’t need any connection under Heaven to scale any height.
Deuteronomy 28:1
You want a change of level, be faithful. Train to be good on your assignment (Luke 19:17-19).
These things work and it works for everybody; black, white, northern hemisphere, southern hemisphere – the eyes of the Lord run through and fro in all the earth; in the village, helmet – anywhere to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart are perfect towards Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).
- You are going places.
Wonders naturally accompany those who are committed to following His leadings . Don’t fake it, it will betray you if you do.
He unveiled the way to go to Job and he became the greatest of all business men in his time. You can fast for a hundred days, that won’t change your status financially. You just must know the ways of God to accessing financial fortune which Jesus died to bring you and me into. Church Gist. He was made poor, satan stripped us naked; Jesus came to clothe us (2 Corinthians 8:9). The question is, how?
Deuteronomy 8:18
And God is able to make all grace abound when you follow the terms of the covenant. It is not acquire the wealth and run away from the source of that wealth, it becomes a wreck. That doesn’t require a prophet prophesying over you, God has already told you how to prosper. There is no anointing that can break that.
Praise God.
Is there any way to pray for someone who will not repent to be saved? No, the gateway to Salvation is repentance. So many people claimed to be saved today, they have not repented. That’s personal salvation, it doesn’t fly with God.
God’s way to sweat-less, holy, godly prosperity is a willful, cheerful giving lifestyle to the needy around you, first promoting the Kingdom of God with delight, not looking for what to get back. We have been shocked several times but we won’t stop doing what keeps a man blessed. Can you get angry and drop your salvation? That will not be wise for anyone of us. Does somebody insult you that, it’s only church, church you know, stupid man and you say, God, I don’t want to be saved again – you don’t. It is paining them, that’s why they are doing that, so keep at it, they will soon turn round to envy you.
They first mocked Elisha, the Lord is taking your master away from you today. “I know it, hold your peace, I am going somewhere. I don’t join backbiters”. He went on, the same people, they bowed themselves to the group for Elisha.
This thing works, it always works.
Isaiah 48:21
They are immune to the negative situations in the environment. They don’t know it, they can’t feel it. Someone is still talking of COVID-19 in Nigeria, my God. That one is past tense, it is not there. The question is, before COVID-19, where were you? What has COVID-19 taken away from you that could not have been recovered by now? It was heat in Egypt but Goshen, where God people dwelled, there was no feeling of the heat of the famine. Israel increased and multiplied exceedingly in the midst of the harsh climate.
Genesis 47:15-27
The famine was so hot that people offered themselves to be sold. But by God, God’s covenant people just couldn’t feel the heat of the environment (Genesis 47:27). It was in the heat of famine that God stepped in and turn the story of His people.
- It will be so in this last days. No matter the heat in the environment, you will never feel it.
There is money failure in this country, you know what dollar is now?
God allowed money to fail, the worst it can then He started the Ark. Fail, fall if you want ten times; the Ark is on. Amen. Fall and fall if you want, free transportation is on and it is on for life. Therefore anyone who is been suffering the heat of the environment, allow Him to lead you the way to go.
Self discovery is vital to your recovery. You are not redeemed a burden on people but a blessing to people.
- Somebody’s story is changing.
The difference will soon be very, very clear between those are serving God and those who are not serving Him (Malachi 3:18). They may be mocking you today, my God, they will bow to the ground before you tomorrow. They may push you out of their company today, tomorrow they will celebrate you.
PROOFS OF DIVINE GUIDANCE:
- Divine guidance enhances command of the supernatural. God was mighty in Peter to the circumcision, at work mightily in Paul to the uncircumcision. So they had their various territories of influence as led by God.
… separate unto me Paul and Barnabas to the task I have given them. You will bear my name to the Gentiles, that’s your territory (Galatians 2:8).
God’s leading enhances our command of the supernatural. He always backed up the led to manifest Himself in the place where He send them.
When Jonah got back on course, in three days, the whole of Nineveh turned to the Lord, including livestock; everyone was in a fast. Can you imagine animals in a fast? The greatest revival in the Bible days. Everybody repented and we are not told of those animals died, you know all of them eat regularly, 24 hours non-stop. They said; “animals, no food. God is angry with us. We must have to turn His anger away from us” and God did.
- You won’t miss your steps.
- It renders our enemies helpless. If you let Him lead you, He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies and your cup will be running over. That’s what He does, His leading renders our enemies helpless.
- It provides access to Supernatural blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-3).
- His leading is gateway to Supernatural strength. You are supernaturally strengthened when you are on course with divine plan. You don’t get cheaply wearied, tired, yawning, seeing everything as a task. There is a delight in the soul that keeps you strengthened by the day (Judges 6:14).
You experience supernatural strength when you are following His leading. You are strengthened with might in your inner mind when you are following his leading. He keeps you supernaturally tired-less in your pursuit when you are on course to His agenda.
- Every of His leading is accompanied by supernatural peace, peace like a river.
Isaiah 59:8, Psalm 85:8. - When God leads, supernatural joy is the experience. If you are willing to follow His leading, it stimulates joy unspeakable, full of glory. You know why? His presence will always go with the led and in His presence is fullness of joy, on His right hand there are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11, Matthew 28:20).
The seventy returned with joy and so, we are ordained to return with joy. Just following the leading of the Lord into the harvest field, you will return always with joy.
I want to thank God for grace but I’ve kept my smile over the years. Joy breakers have not succeeded to break my joy. I can see the end from His word in obeying His word, so the mockery of people can’t stop me. It’s so sweet. Allow God to lead you.
You don’t have to be a spiritual giant to be led, just be a sheep and allow the Shepherd to guide your way, you are okay. The goodnews here today is, the same God who has led this commission step by step to this point without stress, without gimmicks, without games; will begin to lead you specifically from now.
- From His word, you will keep locating which step to take. The right step to take at all time.
Long before we were married, I was asking God; what is Your purpose for instituting marriage. Church Gist. Show me. I’ve read a few books but I can’t find the answer there. They are all talking about problems, I can’t sign up for problem when I know it is problem. So show me Your very purpose for marriage and then Heaven came down and from Scriptures, showed me 7 purposes of marriage and what my responsibility…
Look, anything you call revelation and does not show you what to do, it is mere information. Stop flying around, I got revelation, which revelation? What did He tell you to do? And I subscribe willing to those simple instructions and so when my counselor asked me; what are you looking forward to, I said; hitch-free marriage. He said how do you mean?
Ha, you need to know how I mean. I saw it in the Bible; two are better than one. One will chase a thousand, two will put ten thousand to a flight. I saw it and I saw what goes along with it, Ephesians 5:23-30. I saw what must be done for it to happen and I willfully l, cheerfully subscribe to it. Now, is not luck, it is light. What is it? – light.
Success is not luck, it is the light of what to do to succeed. Prosperity is not luck, it is access to light on what to do. Healing, health and wholeness is not luck, it is access to what He says to do to live a healthy and wholesome life. Harmonious family life is not luck, it is light – they are all products of light. Everything that shines is a product of light. Knowing what to do, that’s the meaning of light. Knowing which way to go, what step to take – that’s light. Arise, shine; your light is come, that’s light. So there is gazing into the sky; Oh Lord, what must I do to prosper. Just ask God; Oh Lord, show me what to do to prosper from this manual of life. Show me and then He shows you. If you are interested, plug in. If you are not interested, bye-bye. He has no other way of talking to you than this.
Why is this Church not growing? Searching the Word and praying, Heaven came down and He came down by the Word. …from beginning it was not so, that’s the word, now the hour has come to liberate the world. He always come through to us by the Word. To know that you are not been deceived by any angel, any demon posing himself as angel of light – the Word.
The first instructions on Church growth were from the Word (John 1:40-46). There is war against Church growth because darkness is the worst enemy of light. So engage in prayer and fasting to force the gates of hell open and to keep it open; maintain the life of prayer and fasting. Amen.
Keep teaching the Word, life applicable Word. It may not look like He’s working but as the grass grows, the sheep will come and keep the grass green, they will lie down there and so, we are people here today – 34 years, 36 years, 37 years. One of our leaders in Ghana, he told me when he was 33 years in the ministry. I knew the time he came, unusual things by the Word. Look, those who don’t love this book are not interested in been guided. This is God’s master guide. Amen.
In those days, they used to have a yellow book for telephone – telephone guide. It’s a luggage… what is his name again ooo? Adekunle, no Adeoye; Adelakin. You will just be looking and looking… Now you can load how many thousand on your phones that you are interested in, you don’t have to check through the whole diary of telephone in Nigeria. I don’t think they still have the yellow book. Those who don’t know it, may you not know it.
When you lose someone in those days and they have to send radio message to you; “Is that so and so over, your mother is dead, over. Come quickly, over. Everybody in the world is hearing. I said your mother is dead, over. I’m to come and radio you, over. My name is Jackson, over.
That age is gone. Praise God.
The goodnews is, your part will keep shinning brighter and brighter from today. Let me tell you how to get your personal issue solved; Ask God genuinely, what is the out? Take your Bible and relevant literature by your side, searching and praying. Light will break forth on what to do and when it breaks forth from the Word, it works. The Gentiles will come to your light and their kings to the brightness of your rising and the man who is supposed to be frustrated now, light has gotten him on a flight (Isaiah 60:22).
Mind that Book, it is the safest guide – the most dependable guide in the race of life. I used to call it Word encounters but I now call it instructions of the Word. You line up with it, it changes your position continuously and forever.
Lift up your right hand everybody.
The Praise team sang; order my steps in your word, oh Lord. Guide me, lead me everyday. I don’t want to miss You.
- Your ways may always look simple but therein lies the power of God. Guide me by Your word Jesus, lead me by Yourself.
Shall we rise to our feet please. Rise on your feet and talk to Jesus like somebody who mean it. There is a particular question around your life, you need an answer to; Jesus show me the way out of this situation. Show me the way up. I’ve been down long enough. Show me the way up.
- Before this month is over, there will be an amazing answers from heaven in response to your genuine questions. We serve a question answering God. Church Gist. It might be just one simple thing that has gotten you stuck at one spot, ask Him; what’s the way out Jesus.
In Jesus precious name we have prayed. - By the light of His Word, every issue around your life will find answers before this month is over.
- As you ask Jesus genuine questions, you will receive clarity of answers.
- You will never miss your steps anymore in life.
- No more trial by error in your life.
Within three days, Lord show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity and He did. Three days has solved a life-long and eternal question. Three days of genuine asking. I’ve been preaching it ooo, but I am not experiencing it the way I see it in the Word. Show me the secret. I went out with two books, my Bible and He was there with me. Light broke out. The light that broke out 1982, March 22nd is still shinning today. I asked simple question. Instead of struggling with issues, ask the One who knows the answer. He knows the answer to every question in life. Tension in the home, one aspect of Ephesians 5 may have been missing and it is His covenant.
I got hold of Matthew chapter 33, He gave me a clear bearing for my life without asking somebody for confirmation. The truth doesn’t need confirmation, it is confirmed by itself. It is what you don’t know what to do that you are looking for confirmation for. What do you think this verse says, is it written in Arabic? What’s your problem? You said; I don’t agree with it. Please let’s check in Greek. The other one you are claiming, did you check in Greek? The Lord shall bless your going out and your coming in, did you check it in Hebrew? You just say Amen, yes, I agree; I shall be the head and not the tail, amen. Why don’t you check in Hebrew? But when God says, thou shalt serve the Lord thy God. You said what does this one means? When am not a pastor, please tell me what it means.
Okay on the account of the Church, what can anybody do now, they are all doing everything; the ushering is full, the protocol is full, the transport is full. Did you check? Okay, win soul. Has the soul finished? Pray for souls, is God saying prayer is too much, don’t add your own to it? Nooo. Allow Him to guide you.
I knew I will not have any lack in my life, I knew, Mathew 33 was the verdict I received. I received it and I knew all my issues in life is covered. I wrote a covenant to buy into it. I have not had a force regret. The goodnews is, allow Him to guide you. Allow His word to guide.
- You won’t miss your step.
Now, the reason why many don’t hear from God is that the one He told you, you didn’t do it. The one in the book directly, you didn’t do it. I was sixteen when I saw He has redeemed us unto our God as kings and priests. The following year I got saved, yet I understood it. Children can understand these things, we are just trying to develop complexity. From a child, I understood the Holy Scriptures and from that time, I began to look at, what should a king look like. He mustn’t be rough, he mustn’t be a lousy person, he mustn’t be wrestling on the road, no, kings don’t do that. From the Word, as a child. So if a child can understand it, what are we all adults doing? We just don’t choose to. These things work and my prayer is that, whatever has been an issue of concern, God’s word will pave the way out of it for everyone of us. In the precious name of Jesus.
- I speak sensitivity of spirit. As you read your Bible, you read anointed books on specific subjects; I decree sensitivity of the Spirit to pick what God is saying in utmost clarity in the name of Jesus.
Let me refer to this before you sit down. One day, we were in a meeting and Archbishop Benson Idahosa was preaching, one word just came like a bomb. “Follow me and I will make you”. I didn’t hear any other thing in that message. He said, your making is in my following. The Holy Ghost began to pieces that in my spirit. When you stop following me, I will stop making you. Blessed light. My doggedness, that’s where it came from; following Jesus and His dictates.
Don’t you get out of this Country. Yes Sir.
It is now four years, I’m having the best of walking with Jesus.
Follow me and I will make you. Don’t follow the world, follow my dictates.
So we followed Him to this stupid place and see how stupid it has become. It didn’t make any normal human sense. It can’t stand by any intellectual assessment. This is the place.
When you start to obey the Word, then you qualify to begin to hear from Him. It’s all from one to two, two to four before you start doing equation. You don’t teach primary school boy simple equation. It can give him migraine, he can’t fix it. Or you start teaching him quadratic equations. He will just tell you, father and mother, I am not going to school again. You ask what is wrong? He will tell you, they want to scatter my brain, I’m not going.
So you start from the ABC following the Word and then you’ll start hearing God’s secret agenda for your life in specific terms. Go to Abuja, go to Lagos, go to London; it is clear. We can’t afford to remain babies.
- May the teachings of this month turn the giant in you out.
