WORDBASE ASSEMBLY
Wordbase Assembly started as a fellowship on the 13th December, 1993 at Okota, Lagos. The services which were Wednesday Prayer Meeting and Thursday Word feast started with thirty people.
Wordbase Assembly was formally inaugurated on Sunday 24th April, 1994 by Late Rev. Dr. O. Ezekiel, formerly the General Overseer, Christian Pentecostal Mission (CPM). It was the same day of inauguration that Dr. Humphrey Erumaka and the wife Huldah Erumaka were ordained Rev. Humphrey Erumaka and Rev. (Mrs) Huldah Erumaka. The Church is also incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja.
As the Church grew, Wordbase Assembly started Baptismal classes and set up children Church. The Church comprises of the Men, called Men of Valour, the Women, called victorious women, the youths called the Champions, the teenagers called the David’s Place and the Children Church.
Her focus is on the Word of God and the grace Jesus makes available for all. She is committed to sharing God’s Word to equip believers to manifest their God-given spiritual blessings.
The General overseer, Dr. Humphrey Erumaka is a journalism graduate and a graduate of Advanced Leadership Programme from Oral Robert University Tulsa, Oklahoma United States. Presently he is also a Representative of Youth Enhancement Organization in United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). He is a member of the State Advisory Committee of Lagos Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Executive Director Nehemiah School of Leadership, and CEO Global Epistle Communication and Prints Ltd.
He is married to Rev. (Mrs.) Huldah Erumaka, with three children.
Wordbase Assembly headquarter is located at 12, Dr. Fasheun Street, Ago, Okota, Isolo, Lagos. They have five branches – Wordbase Owerri, Umuahia, Ejigbo, Lekki and Ghana.
Her weekly activities are as follows:
Sunday: Wordbase Sunday Service – 8:00AM
Tuesday: Covenant Hour of Prayers (CHOP) – 9:00AM
Wednesday: Mid-Week Service – 6:30PM
