Sphere of Light Church was founded by Pastor Femi Lazarus, and was officially inaugurated on the 9th of June 2018. It started as a ministry named “Friends of the Word” in 2014 where meetings held on Fridays and Sunday evenings at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.
Sphere of Light Church is commissioned by God to raise God’s end time armies.
The Mandate the Lord has for the house is to prepare as an Army for the Day of the Lord as seen in Joel 2:1-11. The Church has been made for such a time as this and is rising on Eagles wings, strengthened by the Spirit and sent forth to shine. Sphere of Light Church has covenants that operate in the fold, these are the Covenant of Life, Covenant of Ease and the Covenant of Sure Mercies.
The Church has branches at Ife and Moro, Osun State and spreading into different parts of the world. The Headquarters of the Church is located at Ibadan, and three services are held every Sunday. The third service tagged “Amazing Grace Service” is for foundational biblical teachings and exposition into the depth of God’s word.
The Apostolic arm of the Church is FLAME, (Femi Lazarus Apostolic Ministries Ecumenical). This is the arm of the Church that spreads into different parts of the world for apostolic outreaches like Campus on Fire Conference, International School of Ministry for training ministers, Flame radio; a 24 hours radio station running with edifying messages, health talks, relationship talks round the clock.
Pastor Femi Lazarus is a prophet with an apostolic edge, an astute teacher of the word, his passion is to see men raised and established in the Kingdom.
He is happily married to Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus and together they are raising spiritual sons and daughters equipped as armies of the last days.
