Located in South West Nigeria, the Church was founded by Reverend Olusola Areogun who had been commissioned by God in 1984 to “Go to show the world that Jesus is alive, and to teach the believers how to operate the life of God in them”. As a result of this mandate, Reverend Areogun was involved in village outreaches, church planting and training of youths through a special training called August Missionary Outreach Programme (AMOP). In November 1989, by the leading of God, the Church started at Ilesa, Osun State. In 1996, 7 years after the Church’s take off, the assignment of ‘COMMITTED TO HELPING MEN REALIZE THEIR GOD-GIVEN DREAMS IN LIFE’ was delivered by God to him in a vision.
Running with this divine assignment with a heavy prophetic unction, the Church has remained committed to creating platforms to touch multitudes across the globe. Some of these platforms include ‘Distinguished Daughters of Destiny’, ‘Samuel’s Club’, ‘The King’s Daughters’, ‘Vessels of Honour’, Yielding Young Achievers’ and ‘Zion Pillars’.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and signs following Believers; strong Church government under the leadership of the Local Pastor with the other four fold ministries contributing to prepare the members of the Church for the work of the Ministry (Service); the possibility of falling from grace; the obligatory nature of the tithes and offerings are some of the beliefs of the Church.
The Church’s headquarters is in Osogbo, Osun State, South West Nigeria with branches spread across Oyo, Ondo, Lagos Kwara States, Abuja, United Kingdom and United States of America.
