The Ecclesia Embassy also known as the Assembly of the Called Out Ones is set up by God to raise a Word-cultured people, a people groomed by God’s Word and a people who understand how to respond and interface with the realities of their new nature as believers. The Lead Brother (as he prefers to be called), Victor Oluwadamilare is the man God has placed as the setman of the Ecclesia Embassy.
Pastor Victor Oluwadamilare, prefers to be called “The Lead Brother” rather than Pastor or General Overseer, he received the vision of the Assignment of Ecclesia as far back as 1999. He was instructed by God to go through a period of training in the Living Faith Church to prepare for the Assignment. According to God’s direct Word to him, God told him “This is your place of training; this is your place of service. Stay in here until I make you.”
The training took 15 years (2001-2016) of commitment to the Living Faith Church Course and Bishop David Oyedepo for him to be ready for the Assignment. Upon the completion of the training process in Living Faith Church, as instructed by God and with the consent of Bishop David Oyedepo, he resigned on 24th of August 2016 (being his handover service at Living Faith Church Mgbuoba, Port Harcourt). After the Handover Service on 24th August 2016, he departed for Abuja on Sunday 28th August 2016. By Monday 29th August 2016, the Lord said to him; “Give Me a 7 days separation in prayers and fasting (1st -7th September)”, which he obeyed. The 7 days separation in fasting and prayers has since then become a covenant with God and it is observed every year as a time of consecration unto the Lord.
During the 7 days prayer and fasting with God in September 2016, God gave the marching order for Ecclesia to start with the Word and Power Conference (WAP Conference) from September 27th-30th 2016. The Conference had since then become an annual event for the Church, which also marks the anniversary of the Commission. The Assembly also holds Gilgal Camp Meeting and this is a bi-annual camp retreat for the spiritual rejuvenation of the lives of men (1 Samuel 11:14). It is a platform for spiritual realignment, refiring and renewal; a place where the spiritually hungry and thirsty comes to yearn for more of God. It is free for all, with accommodation and feeding offered for free. This event usually holds at the end of the year and during Easter weekends.
After the Inaugural Conference, the first Sunday Service held on the 2nd of October 2016, as the Church began a full Church System with three services per week, which are:
Sundays: Word and Life Service
Tuesdays: Prayer and Power Service
Fridays: Worship and Encounters Service
After the first Sunday and Tuesday Service, Pastor Victor was invited by God’s Servant, Bishop David Oyedepo for the official blessing and release which was done on Friday 7th of October 2016 and through this, the Ecclesia Embassy have been experiencing the good hand of God in strange dimensions.
The Ecclesia Embassy believes that Christ Jesus is the centre of all we do and our world revolves around Him. The Holy Spirit is recognized as Lord and given His rightful place. The Fatherhood of God is duly recognized as the Church is taught how to grow in intimacy with Him through His Word by His Spirit within the believer’s hearts.
Her mission is to:
1). Prepare His Church for His coming.
2). Declare the revelation of Jesus (The Gospel) to the ends of the earth.
3). Raise Him an army of special people (The Called-out Ones) to experience Heaven here on earth.
4). Confer authority and display His dominion doing as occasion demands (The Ambassadors).
The Church is marching on and growing stronger and stronger and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
