-Lord, speak to us in this Service, let Your Word bless us in Jesus’ name!
We are in the month of ‘Enjoying Kingdom Prosperity’ and today we will be looking at COMMANDING CEASELESS HARVEST -PART 2. Proverbs 4:18. So God wants you and I to have a better tomorrow not a better yesterday. Every day of your life should be progressive, harvests should not be just once it should be ceaseless. Church Gist. It should be one, after that another one, after that another one, continuous harvests. God does not want you to be blessed today and then be broke tomorrow.
-Whatsoever makes you to be broke, it is ending today.
He said He was made poor that you and I might become rich. So one of the blessings of redemption is that you don’t remain poor because He was made poor. Is that true Sir? 2 Corinthians 8:9. 2 Corinthians 9:8. God wants you to have sufficiency, not hand to mouth – Surplus to be able to bless other people, is that true Sir? But I said something in the First Service: ‘That you have the person of Jesus does not mean you will be prosperous’. Having the person of Jesus guarantees you Heaven, applying His principles guarantees you earthly success. Church Gist. Many have the person of Jesus, they confess Him as their Lord and Personal Saviour but they’ve not applied His principles so things are not working for them. And I said in the First Service: ‘Nations don’t make people’, no matter the nation where you are you can be blessed; including the nation where you are hearing me from, there is no disadvantaged nation, just do what God has commanded you to do, stand on the integrity of the Word of God, is that clear Sir? Because there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon His name. Are all that I said in the First Service.
But I said, just like the farming principle, farming has principles. You cannot go to the farm and begin to prophesy; you must plant seeds before the seed can produce. The same farming principle is the same principle that occurs in financial harvest. If you understand farming you can understand financial harvest, it is just the same. God used the farming principle to apply also for what? Financial harvest. And I said there are laws that govern financial harvests and we looked at the laws. We were able to take three laws in the First Service. Church Gist. I said if you want to have financial harvests… How many of you want financial harvests? I used to be broke – Get money get broke, get money get broke! So I said: ‘God, there must be a way not to get broke, let it just keep flowing’. And God showed me the secrets of how to have continuous harvests and from 1997 till date I have always had continuous harvests. And I said we will be looking at the laws of the harvests. I’m going to rush because I took three of them.
1. The seed must be planted.
There is no way where you can get harvests when you have not yet planted seeds. You must plant your seed because seedtime and harvest shall not cease. Genesis 8:22. Church Gist. So before any farmer can take anything, what does he do? He has to plant a seed. I said and the foundation of the seed is tithe. If you have not planted by tithing, you are wasting your time no matter the other seed you plant.
2. I went further to say, you plant what you expect to harvest, that means if I expect money I must plant money. I cannot plant preaching and singing to get money. I cannot even plant sweeping Church to get money. Even if I am the biggest Sanctuary Keeper it will not bring money. My wife was a very known Sanctuary Keeper in the Church. In fact she was known by everybody, the whole Church knew her, she used to do the whole up of the gallery alone, that did not bring money it was her giving that brings money. So even if you sweep all the dust, clean all the whole toilet it will not bring money, it will bring health but for money, you will be broker than broke. Church Gist. If you give clothes what will you get? Clothes. I told a Pastor working with us, I said the reason why you are always broke is because you don’t give. I said how can you be wearing this old suit, go and give them. He gave suit, somebody gave him suit, I said you see? If you also give money you will get money, he smiled. I said the reason money is not coming is because you are not giving money. Somebody gave suit, somebody gave him suit, he gave coat (Laughing) they gave him suit. If you give smile, plenty of smiles, what will you get? Anywhere you go, they will be smiling for you. Even those who hate you will smile.
3. I said: You determine your harvest from the quality of seed you sow. If you want to get a big harvest, you sow quality seeds. Church Gist. I said: ‘Sow proportionately the harvest you desire’. Is that clear? In times of hardship that is when you should sow more.
But in this Service, I will take:
4. You must plant your seed on a good or fertile ground.
That is a place where the Truth of the Gospel is preached, a good ground is a place where a good Gospel of Jesus is preached. Now, there are two kinds of Ministers of the Gospel, we have those who minister to live and those who live to minister. There are those who are ministering because of stomach, all their preaching is for their stomach and there are those who are ministering because that is what they are called to do. Matthew 13:8. Church Gist. Don’t plant your seed everywhere, I repeat! Please take time! Some of you even divide your tithe, don’t ever divide tithe, tithe goes to the Local Church where you are being fed the Word of God. You can give offering anywhere, some of you, you carry village Church, half! Eh… No! Put it where you are being fed, you don’t divide tithe. Tithe must go to where you are being fed the undiluted Word of God and you don’t put your money everywhere. Deuteronomy 12:13-14.
Life story! My wife knows this story, I’ve shared it in Church before. Long ago when I have not reached this level of life, we were still trying to bask, trying to come out of poverty and then a Pastor came with a little baby of less than one week. In fact it was like two days or three days old baby, the wife just delivered and the person they were staying with said they should pack, that looked like wickedness true? The baby was so tiny, just came from hospital and then he said they should pack and this man happens to be a Pastor. That time the whole of my income in the account was not up to N60,000 – I think about N50,000 or thereabout and this man came and said: Look! The place he is staying, the man he is staying with said he should pack. I said: ‘What kind of wickedness is this? How can somebody..? Church Gist. With your newborn baby say you should pack’? He said: ‘Yes’. So, out of that money, I gave him N40,000 to go and get a house. The moment I gave him that money my Heavens closed. Haa! I said: ‘How can I help somebody in need like this and my Heaven closed’? He (God) said: ‘That man is not a fertile ground, he’s a Pastor, he does not pay tithe, he does not give offering’. I did it out of emotion not out of compassion. Hmm! He said: ‘You gave out of emotion not out of compassion, that man does not give that’s why no favour follows him’. Haa! I said: ‘What is this’? I had to pray for mercy before Heaven opened.
It is not everybody you give offering and not in every Church you drop offering, did you hear me? There are some people you gave money, your Heaven closed even in this Church. Let me tell you something, if you give a member here who does not pay tithe your Heaven will close, the person says (crying), ‘I dey suffer’. There are people you give ‘paam’. With all humility when you give me, don’t you see how it happens? Because I’m super fertile. Every giver is who you should give to; when I give my wife money with all humility, ‘Pam-pam’, I get the money. When I give Bishop Oyedepo money, ‘Pam’ I get the money because these are dangerous givers. When you give me money you know it (Laughing). Church Gist. Once you sow to my life with all humility… But, may you give a non-giver or give somebody who knows the truth and is not applying it, they will block your Heaven like this ‘kam’. I gave this man N40,000 and Heavens closed, Pastor oo. That he is a Pastor does not mean he has green pastures and it’s worse with those who know the truth because if you give a Pastor who does not give, he already knows what? The truth. So such people, it will become ‘concre’ it’s like carrying corn and putting on a concrete ground. Will the corn grow? You cast corn on where they cemented, will it grow? That kind of non-giver is a what? Concrete. Let me speak like village people, he is a ‘concre’. And there are many ‘concre Christians’, they look pious, they look good in Church but they don’t give. While I am saying tithe, they will not pay but every time they want you to pity them.
Sympathy is not compassion, there was nowhere the Bible ever says: God had sympathy on them, He said: He had what? Compassion. Compassion is when you are led by the Spirit, sympathy is when you are led by emotions. Most times we do things out of sympathy, ‘I dey sympathize with am make I give am, you go see pepper’ (Laughing). I don see oo, pepper oo, though I have a new pattern I do now, when I’m not very sure of you, I remove your tithe. That’s my new pattern, if I’m not very sure of you, if I’m to give you N500,000 I will remove N50,000 for your tithe then give you N450,000 (Laughing). That’s my new style! If your life is one kind, ‘cha-cha-cha’. Church Gist. I just… He says: ‘Papa, they need N500,000; I say okay, this man e no dey pay tithe oo I no dey sure, give am N450,000, remove the N50,000 for tithe so he will not carry his bad luck to come here (Laughing). Please mind where you sow your money! Some of you, you go to village, you wan prove say you be big boy (Laughing); ‘oga big boy, take time oo before you throw your money to a place where you may never… Hmm! Okay’! Are you hearing me? How many of you have given somebody money before and your Heaven closed? Me, I have experienced it if you have not experienced it. If you are a giver you will know! I have given people who are genuinely in “trouble” and Heaven just closed and I noticed that all such happens when the people are not obeying the covenant.
5. You must be patient.
Patience is required, you can’t plant and harvest same day. Between planting and harvesting, there must be a waiting period, patience is needed. Many of us when we plant we just want to get it, that you are hungry does not mean that you will go and pluck the corn that you planted last week, you have to wait. I started sowing in 1995 but that was not when I started reaping the harvest, your cloud must be full so within that period you have to be what? Patient. And then is it gestation they call it medically? Church Gist. The gestation period of a rat and an elephant are not the same, rat is just some few weeks, elephants take about whether 30 weeks or how many weeks? So if you want a big harvest you have to wait patiently for some good time. If you want a rat harvest or rabbit harvest (Laughing), so you fill your cloud. Mark 4:26-27. Hebrew 6:12. Hebrews 10:46. Ecclesiastes 11:1. This is where many of us miss it, once we sow, we feel that we will get it that same day -There has to be patience. Nobody plants and gets harvests the same day.
6. Maintain what you have planted.
Many of us don’t know how to maintain. We give but in maintenance… you know? Even in the natural, when you plant you will be removing weeds. Is that not true? Church Gist. You go pour chemicals to remove insects is that not true? So there is a way to maintain what you have what? Planted.
How do you maintain?
6a. By speaking the right words.
After you must have sown you have to be declaring the right words because everything came by words so your prosperity is by words. Proverbs 12:14. Proverbs 13:2. Mark 11:23. You want to maintain? Church Gist. Say: “I can’t be poor’, that’s how you talk. ‘No! I’m rich, I’m blessed of God’. Don’t talk poverty and expect to be wealthy, speak the Word of God, don’t speak what is happening speak what you are expecting and what is written. Is that clear Sir?
6b. By winning souls.
Soul winning makes you to be on the frequency of prosperity.
John 4:35-36. So when you keep speaking and you are in soul-winning, prosperity is sure. Church Gist. That period you are waiting, you are doing… Keep speaking and then keep winning souls. That’s what you should do, those are the two major things you do to prosper. Is that clear Sir? Glory to God.
-And I see you prosper! Your harvest is sure.
But there is something I’m going to talk about and I will close with it. Many times we give! I never knew about what I’m about to preach until I met Mike Murdock. I’ve been a giver but I was not giving to expect anything, I was not taught expectation. I was taught that: ‘Just give’. Hmm! But that’s not true, you should give with expectation.
7. Expect to receive.
I was giving but I was not expecting because I was not taught that – I was only taught to give. Who taught me to expect was Mike Murdock, I learned giving heavily from the background I came from but I didn’t know how to receive, I was a poor receiver. You cannot get what you don’t expect. The Widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17 when she was giving her last meal, Elijah painted a picture of how to expect, is that not true? He said: ‘A barrel of meal shall not fail’, he was saying: ‘Look! Now that you are giving, this is what you should expect’, he painted it before her. Are you getting what I’m saying? There was no Bible then, you remember? Then Prophets hear and they deliver what they heard. Church Gist. Then Elijah heard from God and he gave her. He said: ‘The barrel of meal shall not fail neither the cruse of oil fail’. 1 Kings 17:16. Is that true? So he was saying: ‘This is what you should expect, things will never go down’. Are you getting me? It was her expectation that triggered the manifestation. Let me explain this to you, God Almighty Himself did not give Jesus without expectation. John 3:16. So He gave Him and He was expecting that we should receive Him to become sons of God. Are you getting me? So God did not give Jesus without what? Expectation. So it is not wrong to expect. Genesis 8:22. So when I give seed I should expect what? Harvest. Luke 6:38. So when I give, what should I expect? Let it be given to me, true? Glory to God! So expecting to receive is Scriptural.
One day Peter asked Jesus a question, he said: ‘We have left all and followed You, what are we going to get? You see? He was expecting to receive something. Mark 10:28-30. Matthew 19:29-30, Luke 18:29-30. He said: ‘In case you leave everything expect to receive manifold blessings’. So if you expect nothing, what will happen? So don’t sow without an expectation, wrap an expectation over a seed. Most times we give without what? Expectation. It’s not wrong… For God so loved the world and then He expected us to be born again. Church Gist. Do you know when you do these 7 laws, your harvest is a miracle from God? You don’t need to kill yourself, just follow the laws: Pay tithe, give offering, give according to the size of what you want, follow all the 7 laws then God will just give you a miracle of harvest. You know how He will give you? Ecclesiastes 3:13. It’s Scriptural! So after you work, God said: ‘Enjoy it’! Read your Bible don’t be religious. ‘To enjoy the good of your labour’, don’t you know giving is a labour? To give is a labour, how many of you know that it is a work? Giving is a work. If it is not a work, oya give somebody money now. It is a work! Ecclesiastes 3:13. Enjoy it, it is the gift of God. So enjoyment is of God, suffering is of the devil.
Life story! When I was a young man, I’m still a young man. When I was younger, I took my younger brother to a restaurant and after eating he said: ‘Bro., this food too expensive oo’, I said: ‘You vomit am’? (Laughing), we laughed over it. ‘This food is expensive oo’, I said: ‘You vomit am? E no pass your throat’? You know? Money is spent according to the understanding of the owner (Laughing). There are money I will spend now my wife will shout and there is money she will spend and somebody else will shout. It is spent according to the understanding of the owner. There is money you are spending now and somebody hears it and says: ‘This man na mad man’. Your ten thousand may be madness to a man in the village, he says: ‘Ten thousand! For one food’? Church Gist. Because that ten thousand is what he gives his wife for one month and then you are now using it to say that you ate one food for ten thousand. He says: ‘See na? The man dey craze’ and somebody else is eating one food at N50,000, you will say this man is crazy. Money is spent based on the understanding of the owner. There are money I spend my wife will look at me and say: ‘My husband you no dey fear money oo’ and there is money she spends and somebody will hear it and say, ‘your wife no dey fear money oo’. It is based on the owner’s level, true? Have you not seen multi-billionaires who just say: ‘Well, give me that diamond, I just want to use it for a gift for my wife and when you hear the amount, you say this man dey craze oo’. True? Because of his what? Mindset. So God said He gave you to what? Enjoy!
Money is for enjoyment! After you labour, so you no go enjoy? Read your Bible, after you sow you should expect enjoyment. If you are not expecting enjoyment, you are not a giver. Church Gist. Every giver should expect to enjoy life not to endure. Ecclesiastes 3:13. Giving is labour, it is a gift from God. So God expects you to enjoy the fruit of the seeds you sow!!
-And I decree, nobody who is a giver will die young.
There is one thing! If you are a giver, let another person not take your own enjoyment. Listen, I don’t know, I am led by the Spirit of God, when I’m led I am different. He said: ‘You will not plant and another eat, you will not build for another to inhabit…’ Isaiah 65:21. Some people will work and work, the time they are to enjoy they will just die. Then one woman who did not do any work will just enter house, God forbid! it happens to people, you see a woman will labour with a man, the time of enjoyment is when the woman will just die or the man will now die, then somebody who did not do anything will now enter! Even some people, it is when they want to give them appointment they die, then they will now appoint somebody who did not contest for election. It happened in Nigeria here, a man was to be Governor, he died a day to become sworn in, his Deputy who did not do any work entered. God forbid!
-I decree, anyone with such sentence on your head! I cancel it!
There are people who will suffer and suffer, train their children, they go to school, they do everything the time they will now sit down to enjoy their children… You now wonder why the woman sold all her wrappers to train her children.
-None of us will die that way in the name of Jesus.
Finally, hear this: For every harvest you get, sow again to get another one. Every time you get a harvest, what do you do? Sow another one (Illustration). When God blesses you with ten pieces like this (Money) of any currency. Inside every time you get a harvest, there is seed and there is fruit. The mistake you will ever make is to eat all. Nobody eats the seed, they eat the fruit; for mango, if you eat the seed you think you are punishing people you will die because you will eat poison. You say: ‘I don’t believe in this, the orange I will eat both the fruit and the seed of the orange’, you fit kill yourself, the seed is to be planted. That’s why some of you did it and then all of a sudden, it made ‘kam’ (stopped) because you stopped. Everybody whose prosperity stopped, he also stopped sowing.
-To every giver, just like I spoke over them I decree you blessed in Jesus’ name, Amen! In Jesus’ mighty name! Amen!
So every time you give, what do you do? Part of the harvest is for you to enjoy but don’t forget to plant again. Never doubt God’s Word otherwise you will cancel your harvest. Hebrews 11:1. You have not seen it but you don’t doubt it. Hebrews 11:1 and 6. Remember, faith is the gateway to what God has said in His Word – I don’t doubt, God! You said so, you must do it, so I stand on the integrity of the Word of God, that’s all. Is that clear? I made a statement in the First Service, I said: ‘Giving is the cure to greed’. If you want to conquer greediness you must be a giver. Church Gist. I said: Greedy people always hoard, the first sign you will know whether you are greedy is that you will like to hoard; that’s how you know a greedy person, they hoard. Even your children, when you say: ‘Give me biscuit’, they say: ‘No, this biscuit nobody will share with me’. That’s the sign of the nature of greediness. Man withholds! every natural man withholds whatever he has then satan’s nature is to steal then the nature of God is giving. He (God) has giving as His nature, so if you want the nature of God to flow in you, you must be a giver. Anybody who is not a giver, no matter how, if he appears holy, he does not have the nature of God.
Now listen, have you ever stayed sincerely and say: ‘This boy behaves like me’ if you are a father or a mother. You say: ‘This boy, he behaves like me’, Because he has some traits he began to exhibit; you say: ‘This boy behaves like me, his hand is very free’. If your hand is not free you don’t have the nature of God. If you like wear skirt that covers your shoes, if you like tie scarf without earrings, if your hand is not free you don’t have God’s nature. Church Gist. For God so loves the world, ‘He gave’. John 3:16. God did not love the world and ‘He wore skirt’, God did not love the world and ‘He preached’. If you like, be the best preacher, that’s not the nature of God; God did not preach anywhere. God so loved the world, He sang? Read your Bible, did God say: 🎶 Haaaleluyah!!! 🎶 For God so loved the world, ‘He gave’. If you are not a giver you don’t have the nature of God. How many of you know how to get your harvest now? You know how to get your harvest? Glory!
Stingy people don’t want to hear giving, when you say giving, they say: ‘No mind all these Pastors’. Me too I see poverty oo, are you hearing me now? I saw it, it sat in our room, took table head. Poverty sat! Maybe you never see am na em make when we dey preach you dey vex. If you saw poverty the way I saw poverty, nobody will tell you, you will find prosperity! I saw it! When I married I said: ‘My wife, forget I am operating in anointing, I pray for the sick they get healed’. Church Gist. I started seeing miracles as a ‘Brother’ but money was not there. An anointing without prosperity is annoyance. Just imagine you coming to pray for the sick person after the sick person gets well you say: ‘You go find me transport’? (Laughing). The man go say: ‘This Pastor na yeye Pastor’. Thank God for what you do but I will never beg you because you are not helping me, I am helping you. True? (Illustration).

-Now, I receive that nature (Giving nature) in you right now! Church Gist. And to everyone who makes it a vow and a lifestyle of giving, I decree in the name of Jesus Christ, the yoke of poverty is broken over your generation!
-No matter how things are tough, before 21st of this month; I decree! Church Gist. The God that called me shall break that yoke in the name of Jesus!
-This week, not next week! Church Gist. This week, God will bless you in the name of Jesus! No matter how hard it is for others it will not be hard for you.
-I command the supernatural opening for you in the name of Jesus! Church Gist. Doors be opened globally for someone connected to this Service in the name of Jesus!
-You are blessed because the blessings of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. Church Gist. Be blessed and sorrow-free in the name of Jesus!
