Apostle Iren, while ministering at Celebration Church International Enugu on Sunday, recalled the response to a question he was asked at a Men’s Meeting he attended some time ago. The question was directed to him, “what do you do when you like a lady and you really want to get married to her but she doesn’t want to agree?”
According to him, he gave others an opportunity to answer the question before he gave his honest answer to the question. Some said, ladies like a person with a sense of humour, some others said ladies like a guy who dresses well and many other responses. But he responded by saying, “there is nothing you can do to convince a lady that does not like you.”
He further explained that a guy who is funny would crack a joke and the joke would annoy the lady in question because of the resentment she has for the man. But anything a man says to a lady who is truly in love is funny.
He cited that example to buttress the fact that one can actually close his/her heart towards a person which implies that people most times, close their hearts to God. He further said, “there is a way you can block your heart at a man of God and there is nothing he will do that will bless you. You will always see something wrong in what he does no matter what.”
