Please be reminded that the prophetic focus for the month is MY DEPENDABLE DESTINY HELPER IS HERE. He is not around you, not with you but in you. Ever present to help in times of need. You don’t forget him at home. He’s in you. John 14:16-18. Be conscious of the ever presence of your helper. He said I will not leave you helpless, I will be there as your ever abiding helper who is in you. You are on a journey, He’s in you. Church Gist. You are at home, He’s in you. You are sleeping, He’s in you. You are driving, He’s in you. You are flying in the air, He’s in you. When Jesus is in the boat, there is no way the boat can capsize. The Prince of Peace is with you; so forget about the storm, forget about the wind, the boat will stay afloat. You won’t sink; you won’t drown and you won’t stink because salvation beautifies. He is in you. Our consciousness of that inbuilds confidence. Jesus is in my boat, my case is different.
ENGAGING THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TOWARDS THE FULFILLMENT OF DESTINY is our teaching series and we are on Part 4 today which is the last in the series. Our glorious destiny, our enviable destiny, our mountain top destiny, our royal destiny, all required the help of the Holy Spirit for realization. Church Gist. It is a golden destiny we have as stated in Zechariah 4:1-6. You have seen a golden destiny but it’s not possible for delivery by power or by might but by my Spirit. So, we look at two areas of help that the Holy Spirit offers for the fulfilment of our destiny.
When the right word enters you, it turns things around. The right Word! How forcible are right words – Job 6:25. It’s just having the right words that deals with your present situation – Isaiah 50:4. It’s just to catch the sent word that God sends to you for your turnaround – Psalm 107:24. Please note that one way we encounter the Holy Spirit is through the Word. Ezekiel 2:2. Many years ago, in 1977, a man of God was ministering and as he was teaching from 2nd Corinthians 3:10, I began to cast my mind back to the glories of the Old Testament. Church Gist. You talk about the glory of Abraham, of Isaac, of Jacob, of Daniel, of Joseph. That is no glory compared to the glory that excels which belongs to us in the New Testament. That amongst those born of women none is greater than John the Baptist but the least in the Kingdom is greater than he – Matthew 11:11. God began to expound that word in my heart and as the Word was going on I felt sparkles in my brain. There was a visitation from the Word. My understanding fired up. You see me today dealing dates from 50 years ago, 40 years ago with ease. Correct words. Something must enter you today.
The first area of the help of the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of obedience. The custodian of every great destiny is the Spirit of obedience. “I will bless you and make your name great” and so Abraham departed to prove that he believed it. When you won’t obey is a proof that you don’t believe it. What you believe, you respond to. What you don’t believe, you discard. So the greatness of Abraham is rooted in prompt and delightsome obedience. Church Gist. Prompt and delightsome obedience and not coerced obedience. Obedience is not calling for support. Raw Obedience. Who will support Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac. They will kill him rather, that this man has gone benign, he needs attention. He rose up early in the morning, maybe singing we were not told. The scriptures say he was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:20). You must be singing.
Delightsome obedience not just obedience of let’s just do it because they said we should do it. Psalm 112:1-3. Blessed is the man that fears the Lord and delights himself greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty on the earth, the generation of the upright shall be blessed. That greatly delights himself in His commandments. When God said for us to move to Cannanland, I had unusual joy coming to this burial place. There was no sign that a Church could emerge here but God said so. If nobody came, I will still come and if you greet me I will still answer you because you are not the one who sent me. Raw and delightsome obedience. You are not being pressed to, there is an oil in your engine that is driving you on. May that oil of obedience come upon your life today.
Prompt obedience and delightsome obedience was the secret of Abraham’s greatness and God wants to bless us after the order of Abraham. So we need the help of the Holy Spirit for prompt and delightsome obedience. Receive it now in Jesus name. Obedience is the gateway to a world of supernatural blessings. Church Gist. If you will hearken to my voice and observe to do all what I shall tell you, all these blessings will come to you and overtake you (Deuteronomy 28:1). You won’t cry for it. If you do whatever He tells you to do, things will be coming to you and you will not be going after them. That’s the power of obedience. He began to list the kind of blessings of obedience in Deuteronomy 28. Amazing!
The proof of love is obedience and we also have the spirit of love that engraces us to flow in delightsome obedience. John 14:21. 2 Timothy 1:7. So, there’s the spirit of love that collaborates with the spirit of obedience to make us delightsomely obedient. Church Gist. Abraham was a friend of God – love and obedience was natural with him because when you’re in love, obedience becomes a natural sequence. Therefore, receive this morning a fresh release of the spirit of love. With those two forces at work, obedience becomes a delight. Church Gist. You don’t feel sorry for yourself, you just keep rolling on like rollercoaster. What an awesome God we serve. You’re going places.
Sir, without obedience, your journey is far. Philippians 2:5-9. Receive the same order of obedience without reservation like Jesus. If all you do is read without applying yourself to your findings, you’re just having fun. Church Gist. If all you do is to come to Church and write notes but you won’t take note of the things you’re required to do, you’re only increasing your vocabulary – it adds nothing, it is self deception. So, there must be a takeaway from every service. “What is God saying to me now?” This my obedience is corrosive. “Lord, I need the spirit of obedience. Church Gist. I want a fresh release of the Spirit of love that will make obedience flow naturally”.
Sir, there’s no place that delightsome obedience cannot take you. Where no skill or connection can reach, take it, delightsome obedience will get you there. Deuteronomy 28:1. Church Gist. How many men of skill are above all nations of the earth? Where are they? Some are over their street, they think they’re in the world. (Obedience) is the master key to a world of supernatural breakthroughs of things that eyes have not seen or ears heard. I’m not aware that there’s any missionaries congress in Nigeria that gathers people from 78 nations across 5 major continents – by an act of obedience. Church Gist. Please package yourself, that Book called the Bible has all it takes in the Word to be set on top of your world if you know how to trade the secrecy. And they’re open secrets oh, it’s not cultist. “We don’t know what they’re doing, I’m telling you what we’re doing”. It’s an open secret, we shout it at the house top but if you won’t do it, it won’t work. If God promises you bumper harvest, it means, “go and clear the field”. Plough the field, harrow the field and put ridges and then sow, otherwise, that promise will never see the light of day. “I promise you bumper harvest in your farming business” “Amen”, then you go and sleep. Church Gist. Bumper famine, bumper hunger, bumper begging. We serve a covenant keeping God and the Scriptures cannot be broken.
Obedience may be costly but the end result is priceless, you’ve heard that too many times. 2 Corinthians 8:1-5. What happened to Abraham in carrying Isaac away early in the morning for a slaughter, it’s beyond his power, there’s no natural man that will do that. Church Gist. Power beyond his power was at work and he calls it, ‘faith’ and faith works by love and faith without obedience is fake. Show me your faith without obedience and I’ll show you my faith by my obedience. Church Gist. Power beyond your power and my power to obey is what the spirit of obedience offers. Ezekiel 36:27.
-Lift up your right hand, ‘Lord, endue me afresh with the spirit of obedience’.
Why do we need that spirit? There’s also a spirit walking around the world called the spirit of disobedience. It takes the spirit of obedience to counter and subdue it. Ephesians 2:2. Church Gist. It’s in the air, “no, you have your life to live. Don’t mind what they’re talking about”, then you start sweating. It’s looking for how to trap you and torment you. It won’t succeed. So, it’s not natural. Ephesians 2:2. There’s a force that works disobedience in God’s people. “I don’t care, no no”. Husbands, love your life, “no, no, this one, I can’t live”. Wife submit yourselves to your husband, “no, no, not this kind. No, I know my status”. Go and marry your status. Church Gist. You know, people just cause themselves heartache without knowing where their trouble is coming from. Husband and wife live together, you say, “no, no, that’s old testament”, then you have several assistant wives and your wife has assistant husbands. Family in disarray. Church Gist. Simple things. 1 Samuel 15:22. “I thank God my family is in Brazil”, una well-done. And where are you? “I’m in Togo”. You’re very close. If you want to hear what you like, don’t come here oh, don’t come here Sir, go somewhere else. When the teacher says you’re wrong, you’re wrong. All these, “God has not told me”, it’s not God who will tell you you’re wrong.
Someone in our Church in Kaduna, they said he should repeat a course in School, he said God has not told him. I said: “God doesn’t need to tell you, it’s your teacher.” Who told you that you passed before? Your teacher! And the Teacher now said you failed, so go and rewrite.” He said: “God has not told me.” I said: “Well!” I’m always very excited when I remember the story. He didn’t go back, he never earned a degree till tomorrow because God has not come down to tell him that he failed. When God says: “You’re wrong” just say: “I’m sorry.” Church Gist. Don’t be explaining: “You know why? You know? The economy in my country is a bit one kind.” Some people don’t have value for the spiritual status of their children, zero value. Children living like orphans. When you put a child in primary school in a boarding school. Child! Primary school! So he is imbibing all kinds of stupid things and then he comes out, he’s wild. He says: “Who is this?” You say: “Your father!” “My father?” “No! I don’t know him!” “That’s your father”, he says: “Please get off my back, father of who? My father is in school.”
-Somebody’s story is changing.
So when you hear this you know what to do. If the Spirit of Obedience has come to you, you’ll now restructure. What do you do? Restructure. I was praying at the Congress and I shared with the pastors. I asked the Lord: “Lord! Help me to restructure my spiritual life for greater impact.” Restructure your life! Don’t hear and say: “It’s okay, I’m okay.” You’re not okay. Until you do the right thing, you’re not okay. Go and do the right thing, Amen. Church Gist. Somebody will say: “Any time Papa says that I’m offended.” You’re offended? Does that tamper with me? Your unbelief can’t make my own faith of no effect. The Just shall live by what? His faith. Habakkuk 2:4. What you believe determines your lot. I’m living a very serene and fulfilled life, you should know that. In case you don’t know, I’m telling you now because anything God says turns me on. I don’t have my opinion.

The missionaries here need to hear this, we gathered everybody for an induction to send them across to the nations and God told me that night: “These are not the people I want to use.” Church Gist. We had called them in from various places and I told them God told me: “You’re not the people He wants to use, you’ll go back tomorrow.” Simple!
-Somebody’s story is changing. You’re the one? Let me hear your loudest Amen!
-PRAYERS
Secondly, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Faith. We live in an embattled world but we have been redeemed to overcome by faith. 1 John 5:4. The whole world lieth in wickedness but we have the overcomer’s weapon and it’s called Faith. 1 John 5:19. The Spirit of Faith empowers believers for dominion. Hebrews 11:3. That’s the enormous power that faith carries. Church Gist. He subdued those nations under this Commission by faith. Like we know, faith is in degrees, we have the measure of faith that comes down with us at Salvation. Romans 12:3. Matthew 8:23-28. Remember the Story of the Centurion? Speak the Word only and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8. Matthew 15:28. So you have a measure of faith, you have great faith. You have strong faith. Romans 4:20. And then you have supernatural faith which is called the Spirit of Faith.
Everybody has access to the Spirit of Faith. Let me say this: Every gift of the Holy Spirit thrives on the Word. No gift can be sustained and functional without the Word including the Spirit of Faith, it feeds on the Word for sustenance. The Word is the Food of the Spirit. The Spirit is fire, the Word is wood. The life of the Fire is sustained by the Wood. Leviticus 6:12-13. So hands have been laid on you, legs have been laid on you. Church Gist. Diverse impartations, then they get eroded because they’re not fed. Every spiritual virtue feeds on the Word. Only Word-addicted people sustain the manifestations of the Spirit. The Spirit of Faith will not deliver without feeding that Spirit with the Word of Faith. You cast the Wood of the Word into the Fire of that Impartation to keep the burnfire high. Does that make sense? So, your measure of faith with the Word will deliver far more than the Spirit of Faith without the Word.
“Jesus, if it is true that you did all that you did in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Do it now!” I got myself free from tuberculosis by what I found in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. I saw Jesus as a walking miracle and He is the same yesterday, today and forever, I got free! That’s the measure of faith with the Word that will deliver. But great faith will die without the Word. That’s why some people get results now and can’t get results again. They have starved that Virtue to death. One thing is needful to keep your life and my life running – the Word. Luke 10:42. One thing is needful, to keep your life flourishing and my life flourishing, to keep the gifts of God in your life functioning – the Word.
Joshua 1:8. This Book, (Bible) when it departs, every good thing starts departing. Please, value it and much more importantly, the Spirit of Faith, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I got a raw impartation of the Spirit of Faith 1986. I’ve been feeding on the Word of Faith with all sense of responsibility. Church Gist. It’s the way to keep the burn fire on and you know what? Burn fire scares wild beasts, so as long as the fire is burning, wild beasts are at bay, you keep them away from your territory. Come awake! When I say, ‘Be free!’ He sets you free. But to remain free, you must keep the light shining and keep the fire burning.
– You are walking free today! Thank you Jesus.
– I therefore release afresh on you the Spirit of Faith.
Among other things, the Spirit of Faith empowers us to believe all things. Acts 24:14. The Spirit of Faith empowers you and me to believe all things as found in His Word. Philippians 4:13. If you can believe all things, then you do all things. You’re going places! There is no irreversible case with faith, so keep your faith alive. Church Gist. I’ll like you to open your heart this morning to receive this treasure called the Spirit of Faith. It will put your faith on auto frequency with capacity to respond spontaneously to challenges of life. You’re not struggling, you’re not crying. Daniel 3:17. The Spirit of Faith was actively alive in those 3 Hebrew boys and they subdued Babylon.
-In the name of Jesus, I pray down upon everyone here today the Spirit of Faith. Receive that in the name of Jesus.
-He’s a speaking Spirit. ‘We believe, therefore, we have spoken’ In the name of Jesus, power to speak boldly on your findings from the Word as it relates to you, receive it right now.
It makes incredible moves. Noah being warned of God moved into action. Hebrews 11:7. A farmer going to construct an Ark, it had never rained, he moved. Thank you Jesus. Church Gist. He dares the undarable. How dare you despise the effect of a fiery burning furnace? Faith is what does it. The Spirit of Faith dares the undarable and accomplishes the impossible.
– You’re going forth from here into a new realm.
One major proof of faith at work is rest. ‘They that believe have entered into rest’ The Biblical authentic proof of faith is rest in the midst of the storms. Hebrew 4:3,4. We need faith in the finished work to enter into the realm of rest in the midst of turbulence. Church Gist. Jesus was fast asleep in the boat, ‘Master, don’t you care that we perish?’ ‘Why are ye so fearful oh ye of little faith?’ Build your faith and keep your faith alive. It will show in the order of rest you command in the midst of challenges.
– You are changing levels.
Faith is an ever growing virtue, so keep growing your faith. 2 Thessalonians 1:3. It has unlimited power for growth. It will grow to a point where the works He did, you and I will do and greater works than He did, we shall do also. John 14:12. Faith has unlimited capacity for growth. Keep building your faith against the stormy days. We were out on a journey and the equipment in the Helicopter failed. ‘Pilot, where are we?’ He said he doesn’t know where we are and we’re running out of fuel. God that made the Heavens and the Earth is my witness, I was fully at rest. Church Gist. I said well, look for any field any where and land. By the time we landed we had gone far away from where we were going. Amen? At rest! We were on a journey and then there was this big bang in the plane and the plane (shook) so, it’s not just noise. I said, ‘Peace, be still’ and God knows, the devil knows, I was not shaking inside me. You can’t tell when the big bang will come, build your faith. If I had said, ‘Oh God, is this the end?’ That will be the end. ‘You shall have whatsoever you say’ Over to you. You have what it takes, now, give it what it takes. You have what it takes, what do you do? Give it what it takes.
Curses cannot survive where blessings exist. It’s like light and darkness. You can walk out of every generational curse by knowing how to provoke the blessing. You don’t struggle with darkness if you know how to bring in light. When light comes in, darkness packs out. The answer to generational curses is to come under generational blessings. It will swallow it like the rod of Aaron. Curses, line up (swallows it up) You throw down the rod of blessings, it will swallow up the rod of curses. Psalm 112:2. The generation of the upright shall be blessed, for doing what? for living in the fear of God and obeying Him with delight. He steps into generational blessings that swallow up generational curses. All these technical things like you’re doing computer won’t work here, you go straight to the raw Word of God for answers. You can’t come under generational blessings and be a victim of generational curses. You can’t position yourself under generational blessings and remain a victim under generational curses. Most people are trapped, they are believers oh, they are trapped by some very funny dreams. How won’t you dream funny dreams, you are watching CNN till you slept. You’ll just be dreaming all kinds of things. You’re watching African (what do they call it?) Magic, you’ll be a magician oh when you wake up. Church Gist. Then you will watch to a point where you will see your wife as a witch, then trouble has started and your wife is watching, she sees you as a wizard. Then you have witches and wizards together. Dream is not one of the gifts of the Spirit. It’s not. Every dream that is contrary to the truth, trash it. But if you don’t know the truth, it will trap you. Every dream contrary to the truth, trash it. If you don’t know the truth, the dream will trap you.
When Jesus sets free, no curse can hold the individual captive. When light sets free, darkness can’t hold you captive. Please be awake and take responsibility for the liberty you desire. Isaiah 52:1-3. Church Gist. Awake, awake, take responsibility for the liberty you desire. Let me say this, no curse, generational or diabolical, has power over you as a child of God. You have escaped from the kingdom where they have effect. Christ has translated you and me from the kingdom of darkness and brought us out into the Kingdom of light where darkness has no access.
Diabolical curses are forces of darkness, generational curses are inflicted by the powers of the wicked. But when you are saved not modern day decorative salvation but biblical based salvation. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 5:17. When you are saved, you have escaped from the realm where curses have effect. Hebrews 2:3.
Mind my words not decorative salvation of the hour where doing anything goes. “I just thank God (crossing their legs).” You find believers behaving like drunkards. The decency and dignity of salvation is not there. If you are saved, where are the fruits of the Spirit? They are the proof of a regenerated soul. Where is your love for God? Galatians 5:22-23. Where are they? Church Gist. Where are the proofs of salvation? Salvation is the seed of those fruits then you grow them by living by the Word. Wake up! Whatever is born of God no matter how many devils in hell overcome the World and he overcomes by faith. But faith works by love. Where is your love for God? Faith works by love. Galatians 5:6, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.
Faith is not a magic, it’s a mystery and it delivers to the level of our love for God. The prayer of Elijah was working like fire because “I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts.” 1 Kings 19:10,14. “When I cry, then shall my enemies turn back;” that was David, a man with a heart for God. Abraham believed that God would raise up Isaac from the dead after cutting his neck – a friend of God. They stoned Paul to death and he rose up. Church Gist. Romans 8:36, Philippians 1:21. Where is your love for God? That will show how much your faith can deliver and this is how it works as we close. Psalm 25:14, John 15:15.
So when you are in love, you have unlimited access to revelation and faith is a product of revelation. Increasing revelation equals increasing faith. Strong revelation equals strong faith. Supernatural insight equals supernatural faith and love is our access to the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10…the deep things of God to His lovers. “Can I do this thing and not tell my friend Abraham? No, no! Abraham, I want to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.” Abraham didn’t ask for it. “Will I do this without telling my friend, Abraham?” Genesis 18:171-8. Church Gist. You have access to the deep things of God with love which is the root of strong faith. And I can tell you this, strong faith will mess up any generational curse, it will mess it up completely. It will mess it up eternally. Ephesians 6:16.
– I therefore decree, every trace of generational or diabolical curses hanging on any life here, I declare them broken and I decree your liberty now! Church Gist. So shall it be!
– Every negative trend in your family lineage is terminated today!
– The trend of business struggles, career crisis, marital turbulence, marital delays, barrenness, whatever represents an evil trend in anyone’s family under the sound of my voice, the curse is broken and you have escaped!
A family was under siege and the young man there bought copies of ‘Breaking The Curses Of Life’ and gave to all the members of the family. The following year, the heavens opened, every siege that sat on that lineage was lifted. They were getting married, they were getting settled because of taking responsibility from Isaiah 52:1-3. Go and take responsibility for the liberty you desire.
– Now by prophetic arm, you have been delivered and by light from Heaven, you stay safe!
Some are so uncertain about their tomorrow, ‘Fulfilling Your Days’ will give you the confidence of your heritage of longevity in Christ – a good age and what you are required to keep at to experience it. Take time to confront the things that are set to destroy. What you don’t confront, you cannot conquer. Church Gist. I have here, ‘The Turnaround Power Of The Word’ because I know the only way to keep every spiritual virtue flowing is to feed it on the Word and then ‘Understanding The Power Of Faith.’ These are all ‘short short’ literatures that will help to keep you on edge, keep you on your toes; ready for triumph at all times and that’s what you will have in Jesus name!
