FAITH HAS POWER TO TURNAROUND ANYTHING NO MATTER HOW SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE THEY MAY APPEAR TO BE

Now, our teaching series is ENGAGING THE TURNAROUND POWER OF FAITH. Faith carried within it, turnaround genes, it can revert a 4-day old dead in the grave. John 11:40. Church Gist. It carries turnaround genes within it. Faith has power to turnaround anything no matter how seemingly impossible they may appear to be. The turn around power of faith. That’s why it is wisdom to invest in building our faith so we can maximise God’s agenda for our lives. It is wisdom to invest out time in building our faith. Church Gist. That’s what defines the quality of our lives on the earth. Matthew 9:29. Habakkuk 2:4. His faith will determine the quality of His life. It is wisdom to invest in building our faith. I have invested lot of my time and resources in building my faith. It’s speaking by the day that they were not time lost, they were time most wisely invested. We can only be taught how to develop our muscles, no one can develop your muscles for you. I can’t exercise on your behalf, I can’t stay on correct nutrition in your behalf. So, a great mentor does not make a star, it’s the commitment of individual to the instructions of the mentor that determines what becomes of him. Please, invest in building your faith.
Jude 1:20. Pray, “Lord, show me light. Holy Spirit, show me what I need to see”. Now, this is how it happens. Listen, any time you take your Bible, watch out for these four things, if they’re missing, you’re only reading newspaper. 2 Timothy 3:16. Church Gist. So, if there’s no instruction coming to you, no correction coming on, there’s no reproof challenging your rough life, there are no principles that show you better way of living? You’re reading dead literature.
Kingdom principles taught me hitch free marriage. I knew when I caught it and I announced it. Kingdom principles taught me the pathway to prosperity. Church Gist. The moment principles and corrections are not coming through, you’re reading Greek, nothing is changing. The changes come through those four channels. 2 Timothy 2:21. So, our thorough furnishing is in connecting with those four channels of change that the Word carries. The principles of the Kingdom that you’re not engaging for will make them see me. Praise God. The reproofs, you’re trying to go the way of the world, He says, “no, you’re going to miss it. You’ll suffer the way they suffer if you go their way”. Church Gist. Corrections on the things you think were right but He says you’re wrong. Meekness opens you up to accept that you’re wrong. The reason that you and I have a Master is that we can be wrong, He has marked me wrong on many things and I always announce it. Church Gist. “It was not me you heard, you heard yourself”, sorry sir. “You’re going now”, sorry sir, I didn’t know we should go now. “I’m not in that place”, ehh, come back everybody. He has marked me wrong on several things, I’m not ashamed to accept the wrong because I’m not the Master. Church Gist. Many in this Church and all the Churches worldwide cannot be corrected sir, they see the Word like this and they flip it. When God speaks to them, “no, you’re wrong”, they say, “no, no, I don’t want that verse”. Can you remove it? That’s how to build your faith, to subscribe to the dictates of Scripture. Faith comes by hearing and understanding what the Word says and engaging accordingly. Church Gist. For instance, “prosperity does not answer to prayers”, I didn’t know that before. When we got saved, by the way, last Thursday made it 57 years I gave my life to Jesus. 57 years, not perhaps, consciously, genuinely, I’ll be telling the story forever. Church Gist. One of my precious ones here has been hearing me since ’69. It’s not all these makeshift Christianity, because you come to Church, you say you’re Christian, is that Christianity? “I was born inside the Church”, that’s not new birth. Church Gist. Young people, don’t mistake your father’s salvation for your own, they’re not the same.
For instance, I got the principles of success, simple, find direction for your life, knowing where you’re heading for, learn how to get there, discipline yourself to get there, be diligent if you want to get there and then go beyond again, be sacrificial to make the most of it. Church Gist. Now, 5 keys, you don’t need any Arabic or Hebrew or anything. All these looking for different translations is wasting time, raw Scriptures. Somebody got his first 1 million Naira in business, 1986, from that principle. In the name of Jesus, you won’t watch your faith go down the drain. Church Gist. Receive grace to take responsibility in the name of Jesus.
Now, what is Faith? That’s what you need to take delivery of your own Enough is Enough package.
1. Faith is not a religious ideology, it’s a spiritual mystery. 1 Timothy 3:9. Hebrews 11:11. Church Gist. Now, wait a minute, no more ovulation – it has seized to be with her after the manner of women, but through faith, she conceived. Faith is a mystery, not an ideology. Hebrews 11:11.
2. Faith is not a principle of a strategy, faith is a spiritual force. Ephesians 6:16. It’s a spiritual force. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. It’s a spiritual force that changes people’s story.
