As has been said here over and again, the Bible is the answer book of life. It addresses all areas of life. Acts 5:20. This is the answer book of life and at Shiloh 2024, answers to all bugging questions in the lives of God’s people shall be fully delivered. There is the wisdom answer to every human question. Church Gist. There is the Bible wisdom solution to every challenge of life. At Shiloh we shall be treated by the Holy Spirit to accessing the wisdom of God that makes a believer an ever winning individual. In the name of Jesus, your portion shall not be lost! My prayer is that everyone of us today will be alive and well and be a bonafide partaker of the wonders at Shiloh 2024!
Please never forget to say, thank you, for light. Never forget to say that to Jesus, “Thank you for showing me the light. Thank you for opening your Word to me.” Then He opens it wider and wider.
We will be looking at the last in the series of our teaching on, “Engaging the wonders of Praise.” No doubt many of us have experienced specific wonders of praise if you obey the instructions given. Church Gist. You must have seen God show up in one area or another in your life and it’s just beginning. You have been sowing the seed of praise, you’re going to begin to experience the wonders of praise in return!
Exodus 15:11 is the anchor Scripture. He does fearful wonders in praises. Joshua 6:20. All the walls of barrier between you and your promised land in Christ as you sustain your praise life, they shall sink as if they never existed! Church Gist. Isaiah 54:1 – every singing barren is declared fruitful! Some have suffered some setbacks, it said, “cry aloud…” Supernatural breakthrough is on your way! We have few days more remaining, ensure you engage.
This morning we will look at the following lines: we can conquer toughest battles through praise. Some of the toughest battles in Scriptures were won by praise. 2 Chronicles 20:1-3, 12 – there are many of us that we have come to a point where we don’t know what else to do. When you don’t know what else to do, praise is what to do because God knows what to do at all times on all issues. Church Gist. When we don’t know what else to do, praise is what to do. That was the prophetic prescription. 2 Chronicles 20:17. So whenever you get to a point where you don’t know what else to do, praise is what to do not murmuring, not complaining. You don’t know what to do, he knows always what to do. There’s nothing impossible with Him, so return to praise. 2 Chronicles 20:22 – that was a tough battle won simply by the weaponry of praise. He turned the enemies against themselves and they finished themselves – not one escaped. 2 Chronicles 20:24. So my trouble is: may be the last one killed himself. When God takes over the battle anything happens. God is taking over your battle! That tough battle of your life has become a walk over. Church Gist. Acts 16:25-30; Psalm 99:1 – God came in, there was a tremor, there was an earthquake and their bands were loosed, their chains fell off and their shame was turned to dignity over night through the mystery of praise. A tough battle! They were meant for the slaughter but God stepped in.
No matter how tough the battle anyone may be facing right now, in the name of Jesus, as you turn to praise God will take it over. Church Gist. When God takes it over, it becomes a walkover.
- It shall become a walkover.
High praises command supernatural breakthrough in battles. Again we saw that in the battle against Jericho. Joshua 6:1-5,20. That fortified impregnable wall sank and everyone walked straight before him. No climbing, no rubbles. It disappeared. Long blast of the trumpet, not short one. Long praise! Marathon praise. Praising nonstop brought the wall of Jericho down. Church Gist. Not short praise and some complain and come back to praise. Psalm 149:6-8. High praises will silence your enemies and deliver your breakthrough into your hands.
- everything standing on your way of going forward comes crashing down today.
I saw death here as one of the toughest battles of life. 1 Corinthians 15:26. Thanks be to Christ who has conquered death on our behalf. The siege of death over anyone’s life and family shall be totally over today. Hebrews 2:14-15. Church Gist. The fear of death shall be destroyed in this service. Jesus was casting out evil spirits with His Word. As light comes in, darkness goes out.
- therefore, in the name of Jesus, every curse of untimely death hanging on any family, that curse is averted today.
Some of the time, death is a result of the curse of the wicked. The Word says “Whosoever curses you, I will curse” (Genesis 12:3). So today God is averting every curse of untimely death in everyone’s family. A family suffered the siege of death, every two years according to that testimony. This person got the book ‘Breaking The Curses Of Life’ and gave it to all members of the family. Light came forth and death ended. Whatever represents a curse of untimely death in anyone’s family, by your covenant of redemption, that curse is broken today. Church Gist. That is why among others praise warfare is vital in commanding supernatural victory in battle. Praise is a vital unnoticed powerful weapon of war. Let’s come awake and engage this weapon because everything that clears the way for God clears the way for praise. God dwells in praise. Whatever clears the way for God, clears the way for praise because God indwells the praise of His people. Praising God brings down His presence and His presence clears the barriers on our path
- the barrier of the siege of death clears off today.
Psalm 22:3. When God was in the midst of Israel, the sea that destroys and drowns people saw them and it fled. Psalm 114:3. God’s presence caused death to flee. Therefore, from this day, His presence will keep on making the difference in our lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 114:7. Whatever operates on this earth trembles at God’s presence.
Everything that operates on this earth trembles at His presence.
- Your troublers will tremble at His presence.
- The wicked that is out against your life will tremble at His presence! Noy only tremble, they’ll tremble and fall!
Pharaoh went after Israel into the Red Sea and never returned. Church Gist. They went with the gods of Egypt and the people of Egypt were destroyed in the Sea.
- So, whatever goes after you after this service will be drowned! Will disappear! You’ll never hear of them anymore in the name of Jesus!
Among the battles we fight are battles against spells and enchantments invoked by the wicked. Church Gist. But the Word says in Numbers 23:8, 20. Now, wait, coming under the blessing of God makes His blessing irreversible in your life. Be conscious of this. It’s one thing to have, it’s another thing to be conscious of it. Be conscious that when God blesses a man, no devil can curse him. Acts 3:26. Church Gist. He sent Jesus to bless us, so, salvation is our gateway to His blessing and when you’re blessed of God, you can’t be cursed by the devil.
- therefore, any curse that may have been ravaging anyone’s life hitherto, in the name of Jesus Christ, those curses are declared averted.
We saw a terminal disease of Hezekiah cleared away for praise. The Word came, “you shall die, you shall not come out of this sickness”. Church Gist. He said, “because the Lord will heal me, I will sing my song”. So, he sang his way to conquering that terminal disease and he was made whole. Isaiah 38:1-5,19-20. Again, I repeat, when you come to any point in your life where you seem not to know what next to do, praise is what to do. Praising Him for who He is. Church Gist. Praise Him for the integrity of His Word. Praise Him because He has your good at heart.
- in the name of Jesus, no one suffers depression here anymore!
- The siege of depression is destroyed today!
- it shall be joy and rejoicing all the days of your life in the name of Jesus Christ!
- lift up your right hand and give God thanks for light.
“I now know what to do when I get to any point in my life that seems to say no way forward, I know what to do. I’ll give my praise to God for who He is. Church Gist. I’ll give my praise to God for the integrity of His Word. I’ll give my praise to God for the way out. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ name”.
- Give the Lord a big hand of praise.
Now, this implies that praise must become our lifestyle, not what happens in the month of praise but a lifestyle. The thing that becomes like breathing to you. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Church Gist. You praise Him for breath, He keeps adding other values to your life. It’s ordained to be our lifestyle. Psalm 34:1.
- May this become our experience from now.
So, praise is not stopping at the end of October. Praise remains your lifestyle and your victory will be without end. You’ll be moving from triumph to triumph, from testimony to testimony, from glory to glory from now in the name of Jesus!
Today is our Covenant Day of Long life. Genesis 15:15. Genesis 25:8. Whatever God says, God creates when we receive, believe and put it to work. Whatever He says, He creates. Church Gist. At the beginning, God said and God saw. Whatever God says, He creates when we receive it, believe it and live it. You live it with the confidence of assurance that God never lies.
- Therefore, I decree the release of the seal of a good old age on everyone here. Not a suffer-head old age, not old age in sickness and disease but a good old age.
Galatians 3:13-14. When we are saved, we come under the blessing that God proclaimed on Abraham and that includes the blessing of a good old age. Now, God went further and through Moses established the lifespan of man to be 120 (years). Moses who received this covenant departed at 120 exactly. Church Gist. My God! Whatever God says He creates when received, believed and acted upon. Whatever God says He creates. Genesis 6:3. Moses heard this from God, Moses wrote it down. Deuteronomy 34:7. Good old age! Still standing great in the mind. His eyes were not dim, his vitals were in place. Today, Jesus already conquered d€ath for us in redemption. Revelation 1:18. satan used to have it (the keys of life and d€ath). At resurrection, Jesus got it back and is holding that key in your favour and in my favour.
-Therefore, in the name of the Lord Jesus, the siege of untimely d€ath is over in this Church Family. The d€ath of infants, young adults and old men who have not fulfilled their days, is over in this Church forever. Because of what Jesus did, not because of anything. Church Gist. Our sufficiency is of God. Jesus Himself spoke: “And I have the keys of h€ll and of d€ath.” If you have the key as a father, would you allow the assault of d€ath on your children? We’re His children and He has the key. That key is in our favour!
-Therefore in the name of Jesus, every one appointed to d€ath by the wickedness of the wicked in this Church is rescued today.
1 Corinthians 15:56-57.
-I therefore decree an end to the sting of d€ath in anyone’s life and family.
The Word says: For as long as our eyes can see, He shall give to us. For instance, David saw 70 (years) and he departed at 70 (years). Psalm 90:10. That was David saying: “Threescore and ten is enough.” If it goes beyond that, it becomes a life and adventure in sorrow and pain. Church Gist. Some time I will let you know the background to that and at 70 exactly, David departed. Genesis 6:3. 1 Chronicles 29:28. So, a good old age is determined by each one’s revelation as far as your eyes can see.
-Somebody’s destiny just opened up now! Let God be true and all men liars, I command every weakening body to pick up a new order of strength right now.
Paul exercised dominion over death in an unusual manner. Church Gist. Philippians 1:22-25. Confidence, “I know what God said”.
- May the things you’re hearing today instill this God-confidence in you that death has no power over your life, that Jesus your Saviour now has the key in His hand and He’s holding that key in your favour!
- Can I have you say with me? “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of God”. Never mind what doctors said oh! “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of God”.
I met a woman in the US that was said could not live more than 6 months, but by the time I met her, she had lived about 50 years after. There is no way what man says will overrun what God says. Church Gist. Amen? So, let your confidence in God come alive. Let your confidence in God come alive. No one has a final say on your life but God. God only has the final say on your life and my life.
- The good news is, death has no power to take you from here!
- The One that saved your soul is the One that would save your body and He already saved your body because the key of death is in His hand.
- Let me hear your loudest Amen!
Paul departed as Paul the aged. Philemon 1:9. So, for us to enjoy long life, the following Covenant terms must be observed;
- Be born again and remain so. Be born again and jealously guard your salvation. Don’t play away your life. Don’t allow God to turn His back on you. Jesus told Nicodemus, “You must be born again”. Church Gist. 1 John 5:4. So, stay on the overcomers side. Jealously guard your salvation. Don’t allow these diverse winds of doctrine throw you off.
- Be committed to serving God as a lifestyle. Exodus 23:25,26. Why? The labourers are few so He wants to keep you here, because we are engraced by God to still bring forth fruits in old age and the labourers are few, so God has the plan to keep everyone serving Him here for long. Church Gist. Can money buy long life? Can position buy long life? Can education buy long life? But serving God entitles the believer to long life. Serving God entitles believers to long life.
- Free yourself from the fear of death. Hebrews 2:14,15. Fear brings people into bondage. Romans 8:15. Challenge the spirit of fear with your faith. Nothing scares fear like faith. When a believer becomes divine presence conscious, fear leaves him alone. When you are saved, Christ has come to dwell in you. Church Gist. 1 John 4:4. So, when you are conscious of His presence…Psalm 23:4. The consciousness of God’s ever abiding presence is the cure for fear. (x3) Be conscious of God’s abiding presence in you. Colossians 1:27. Psalm 23:4. “Thou art with me” So, free yourself from the trap of fear. It is the bait of death.
Job the Perfect said, “The things I greatly fear are come upon me.” Behind all his troubles was fear. Job 3:24-25. Fear has held many believers in captivity till now. Free yourself from it. Church Gist. God has not given you so you can reject it. 2 Timothy 1:7. “God has not given me the spirit of fear. Therefore, fear, I bind you; get out of my life and my affairs” and it leaves you alone.
- Be quick to demand for your long life right in the covenant when challenged. “I’m serving you Jesus and you have covenanted with me to fulfill the number of my days. This is not the number that you numbered.” Be quick! Church Gist. You know what Hezekiah did? Isaiah 38:10…he was conscious of the number. It is not yet (the) number. The number is not complete. Why?
- Now, in the precious name of Jesus, everytime you call out in faith, God will show up because He cannot deny Himself!
If he (Hezekiah) never demanded for it, he would go. But God added 15 more years. He said, “hey, that was what I was saying.”
- In the name of Jesus, anyone planning your death will die in your place!
- Take up the shield of faith against the threat of death. Ephesians 6:16…and his fiercest dart is death – you quench it. We saw how Daniel walked through the den of lions because he believed in his God. Daniel 6:23. The three Hebrew boys walked out of the fiery furnace because they trusted in their God. Church Gist. Daniel 3:28. So you take up the shield of faith against the threat of death and then you walk free. Hebrews 11:33-34…they were valiant at war. Faith made them more than conquerors.
- The game is over!
- Every devil hear this today, the game is over!
- Be committed to a lifestyle of joy, rejoicing, thanksgiving and praise. Proverbs 17:22. Joy is a health therapy in the Kingdom. Psalm 92:1-2,10-12…these are all age long trees. “You shall still bring forth fruit in old age.” Church Gist. So you check out from that Psalm 92:1-2,10-15, you will see the old age thing there. It’s our right and praise is one of the great covenant facilitators of health, strength and longevity.
- In the name of Jesus, the days of murmurings and complainings are over in your life!
- The days of depress1ons, they are over in your life!
Psalm 91:14-16…that means I will ask, are you satisfied? No, I’m not. Okay, stay here. Are you satisfied? O yes, I am. Come over. “With long life will I satisfy him.”
- So you are leaving here this morning to enjoy satisfaction of a good old age!
You know what keeps us walking in the covenant is love. “Whosoever has my commandment and keeps he is the one that loves me.” Church Gist. So not that you hear it but you do it, is a proof of your love for Him and when you are in love with Him, among the blessings is God satisfying us with long life.
- In the name of Jesus, everyone upon whose head the curse of death is hanging, you are set free finally!
