YOU NEED A BRUTAL FIGHTING SPIRIT IN ORDER NOT TO END AS A VICTIM OR A CASUALTY OF LIFE’S BATTLE

In the name of Jesus, I welcome everyone again tonight in Jesus’ precious name. I pray for utterance, I pray for wisdom in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 40:31. Job 39:27-40. We are looking at “EXISTENCE AT THE TOP” and the emphasis of this fourth message is the “POWER OF A VIOLENT FIGHTING SPIRIT”. Church Gist. We have so many things that we intend to look at tonight but basically because I may not be able to enumerate all our objectives but first is that we are going to understand that there’s a fight. Church Gist. Eventually, we will understand what we fight with.
A major characteristic of the eagle, the eagle that flies, the eagle that exists at 10,000 feet above sea level is a brutal and aggressive, violent fighting spirit. Very aggressive. Church Gist. The eagle deals with hyenas mercilessly, deals with the serpents pitylessly. I’ve seen eagle attacks, it goes straight for the serpent, picks it up. One day, I watched an eagle cut a big snake and started eating it straight from the head. He sighted it from up, he didn’t need to struggle to locate it. It cited it inside the water. Church Gist. It sighted it’s movement, went straight for it and picked it without a fight. He’s going to devour it on top of the rock starting from the head. I am sure that you know what the serpent represents in the realm of the spirit. “I give unto you power to tread on serpents and on scorpions and over every power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means (hurt you)”. Luke 10:19. Church Gist. The eagle attacks a hyena and starts eating it alive. Atimes, when you see the force and the violence and the mercilessness with which this thing operates, you’ll understand that is the reason why it’s the King of everything that flies.
Beloved, to survive in this world and to exist at the top and remain there, because it’s one thing to go up, it’s another thing to remain there because the forces that want to bring you down are plenty. Church Gist. To survive in this world, to exist at the top in life, there’s a need for a very brutal, aggressive fighting spirit. And if all that is achieved tonight is the impartation of a violent, aggressive, fighters spirit, then this service achieved its purpose. Matthew 11:12.
Why is it that we need this brutal, aggressive fighting spirit? I will give you some reasons
- We live in a world of battles, we live in a world of wars, so a fighting spirit is inevitable. We live in a world of battles, we live in a world of wars, it is disastrous to sit on the fence, it is calamitous to be indifferent. Ephesians 6:10-13. Church Gist. We wrestle against persons without bodies. You may think you’re dealing with a normal regular world but we are living in a battlefield world. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
- look at your neighbour, say, “we wrestle. Whether you’re interested or not, the wrestling is on. Whether you offend anybody or not, the wrestling is on”.
- somebody say a loud Amen.
One little boy was given sweet by his friends in school, “take this sweet” and before he could lick the sweet, he forgot and put it in his pocket. Church Gist. When he got back home and the mother was checking the pocket of the body and checking the dress like they check, he brought out a finger instead of sweet. “What is this? How?” He said, “oh no. It’s my friend, he gave me sweet in school”. What was meant to be a physical was a witchcraft occultic initiation that the boy didn’t take by mercy. Church Gist. Are you following what I’m saying here today? 2 Corinthians 10:3-4. So, why do you need a fighting spirit? Because we live in a world of battles and the battle is about what?
1a. It’s a fight to undermine God’s plan and the purpose for your life. If you’re not aware, there’s a fight to undermine the purpose and the plan for your life. Church Gist. The devil does not want you to become what God wants you to become. So, there’s a fight. Some of you, your fight started from the womb of your mother because the devil can see ahead. Some of us, our fight like that. I don’t have the time to go into it now. Proverbs 19:21. Church Gist. In case there’s somebody who is asking, “why am I in so much battle?” It is because there’s an agenda of hell to undermine the plan and the purpose of God for your life, to resist it from happening.
1b. A fight to frustrate vision, potential and progress of life. If you ever have a vision, if there’s any potential you carry and if you’re trying to make any significant progress in life, there’s a fight from the pit of hell. Church Gist. You have a vision, you’ve got potentials, you’re trying to make progress, the (enemies) will try to engage you. That was what the brethren of Joseph did. “The dreamer cometh, let us catch him and sell him into captivity and let us see how the vision will come to pass. Let’s see how his dream will come to pass”. Church Gist. So, for many of us, the devil’s fight is not about where you are but it’s about what you’re seeing. Genesis 37:19-20.
- I don’t know who God sent me to here tonight but God is about to explain to you the reason why there’s a fight and exactly what you’re fighting about.
There’s potential inside you that the devil does not want to see the light of day. You may have a vision that the devil does not want to see. Church Gist. You’re making some progress and the devil does not want that
- but I am anointed to announce to you that a fight spirit is coming on you and the devil will be sent packing to hell.
My greatest passion tonight is to recruit some people, to militarize people. My greatest passion tonight is to lay upon you a violent and aggressive spirit. Church Gist. A spirit of a fighter, a spirit on the offense against the devil and his agents such that anywhere they see you coming, they will be rolling in fire. One of my assignments right from University days is to set people on fire. Fire conference. Church Gist. You remember those handbills (points to his wife)? We will do a handbill and say, ‘Campus Fire Conference’. You know what we will write under? ‘ensure you’re there because there will be a sure distribution of fire. Distribution, that’s the word. A sure distribution. Church Gist m And I am sure that something like that will happen tonight. There are people here today on your return back to where you came from, there are forces of hell that will sight you and take off!
- somebody scream ‘Fire!’
1c. It’s a fight that targets your joy and excitement.
There is a fight and the target of that fight is your joy, the target of that joy is your excitement. The target of that joy is your praise because the devil knows that your joy is your strength. If he can attack your joy he will weaken your strength. Nehemiah 8:10b. The devil knows that your joy affects your health. Proverbs 17:22. He targets your joy because the devil knows that your joy is a confirmation of your faith. Psalm 106:12. Church Gist. He targets your joy because he knows that your answered prayer is inside your joy. Ecclesiastes 5:20. God answers people in the joy of their heart so the devil does not care what you do, for as long as he can have your joy. A wise man said the devil may steal your goods but I can’t remember. I’m paraphrasing now, the devil may take your goods but if he does not take your joy he can’t keep those goods. That is, the devil may attempt to take something from you but in all the things that the devil takes, if he didn’t take your joy along, he can’t keep what he took. Are you hearing what I’m saying here today?
So he does things around you just mini things – Just sent one devil agent to offend you, just eh, irritate you here, irritate you there. A neighbour in the neighbourhood, somebody in the office or even somebody in the Church. You’re coming to Church to be happy and there is this constant agent in the Church that is just eh whenever he sights you he starts manifesting. (Illustrating). Church Gist. He was normal until he sights you and he starts talking to people to your hearing, to your notice. Like eh “See her”. Those are agents of the devil inside Church. Are you hearing me now? Sending all manner of things to deflate your enthusiasm. Pastor, you’re coming to the altar to preach a blastful message that is when somebody sent you a message of a calamity or a disaster or something or to just deflate your joy. Don’t ever forget that there is a battle around your joy, there is a battle around your praise, there is a battle around your excitement.
-But I am here to announce to you, by the power of this declaration you will win that battle. You will not lose that battle.
That is why I tell our people whenever the devil asks you to sit down, stand up! If he wants you to cry, laugh! If he wants you to mourn, dance. Am I speaking to somebody here?
-Look at your neighbour say: No devil can take my joy and no devil can take my goods.
Everybody around me is laughing all the time – my wife, my children all the time, workers, everybody just laughing all the time. Very, very deliberate. Saturate the environment, fertilize, irrigate, scintillate, ventilate the environment with excitement with joy and suffocate the devil, the depressive, depressing devil! Church Gist. And I’m going to come to this later but don’t move about and walk as if the whole world is crashing on your head. It’s not because of you that the devil was manufactured.
1d. It is a fight of faith and conviction.
It is a fight that targets your faith and targets your conviction. Call it confrontations of conviction. Confrontations that try to make you doubt God. To doubt His Word to you and even bring you to a point where you are almost doubting yourself. Doubting your own stand with God. 1 Timothy 6:12. Church Gist. So there is a fight of faith, there is a confrontation of conviction. Fight a good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. It’s a fight of faith. 2 Timothy 4:6. Romans 4:20. It’s a fight of faith, a confrontation of conviction. I told you before about the year of 1986 or thereabout. I scheduled to pray for someone’s deliverance – young lady at that time, a relation! “Take the fast, I will pray for you tomorrow.” She was battling with certain demonic issues.
Overnight, before I will go in the morning for the prayer. Myself had an oppression overnight. The kind of thing that you will experience, that will tell you, you yourself need prayer. “Who are you going to pray for?” But I woke up with a realization that the just shall live by faith, not by his dream. So with the anger of the attack, I went in the day brutally as scheduled. I prayed for her. Fire! She was on the floor. Church Gist. This is 1986, it’s 38 years ago. The thing didn’t start today! When she came off from power I said: “What happened?” She said plenty dogs ran out of her body and they were running and looking back and running. Dogs ran out of her body. Yes! Bingos! They ran out! Do you understand what I am talking about? “Where are you now, devil?” The devil that came to try to oppress me last night. “Where are you now? Why didn’t you stop your dog and doglet from running out?”
There are things the devil wants to do around your life to ask you: “You who say you want to pray for somebody, what about you”? Like, physician heal yourself! A notable healing evangelist had arrhythmias for 21 years, heart condition. He kept on praying for the afflicted while the heart remained like that. One day he prayed for somebody, he said as the person was going under power he too went under power; the two of them fell under the anointing at the same time. Church Gist. When he stood up both of them were healed. The person had the same arrhythmia. But he kept at it, mega crusade! He kept going! It’s a confrontation of conviction. Are you hearing what I am saying here? (It is) where you make a declaration, devil manifests with the opposite of the declaration. It’s a confrontation of conviction. It comes to shake your faith. It came to make you drop what you believe.
Look at your neighbour say: I’m not dropping it, I know who I believe. I am persuaded. Church Gist. Look at somebody and say: Between me and the devil, it’s the devil that will be tired.
There is nothing the devil does that invalidates the Word of God. Nothing! There is nothing the devil does that makes the Word invalid. Forever oh God Thy Word is settled in Heaven. I want somebody’s faith to come alive, somebody whose faith is already shaking, somebody whose faith is already wobbling because of confrontations, because of attacks, I want somebody’s faith who is already wobbling and already shaking. That faith to come alive and tell the devil: “I believe the Word of God, the revelation of the Word above the situations in my World.” And the Word of God must prevail!
1e. What is the fight about? It’s a fight of delay.
It’s a fight for the delay of manifestation. 🎶 And there is no need to worry, there is no need to fear. The battle may be raging but the victory is sure. When you’re there!🎶 The devil is only trying to delay what he will not deny. He just wants to make you feel like the delay is final. Church Gist. That: “Look at you, you’re not going to get married. You’re not going to get that anointing you’re asking for. You’re not going to get the child, the Church will not grow.” But he’s only delaying something that is definite. Job 14:14. God gave Israel 400 years to stay in Egypt. The devil delayed them for 30 years, it became 430 years yet they came out. Somebody say: “Yet”, oh! They came out. Habakkuk 2:3. Wait! It’s for an appointed time. I will wait for it, it shall come to pass.
-I am anointed to tell somebody, what the devil has been delaying has been released right now.
So you need a fighting spirit to tell the devil: “You may delay but you can’t deny it”. It’s definite, it must happen! Church Gist. Abraham was promised a child, there was a delay but it was released.
For a long time, I saw a particular dimension of manifestation but I couldn’t see other dimensions. I looked forward to seeing people that (are) completely crippled and paralyzed stand and walk. Church Gist. I looked forward to many things drastic like that, they were not showing forth. But since 1996, I’ve been seeing the deaf and dumb hearing and everywhere I come I’ll call the deaf and the dumb and so forth. But other things were a bit restricted. Then I had encounter with Bonnke but the Lord said “That particular dimension where you see the results, be faithful there” So, I remained there, then ‘bam.’ Church Gist. People are now being healed of paralysis in their dreams. I went to Kaduna, a blind person said she saw me with shining shoes, the type I like to wear, in the dream and said “Can I touch this shoe?” She touched the shoe and started seeing in the dream and woke up seeing.
My wife and I, we are very dangerous givers. We can actually drop ourselves inside offering box. Tithe is (the) minimum, but we didn’t see the commensurate returns. What is promised, the way it should flow but we kept at it and then, when it began to rain, it started pouring, flood. Church Gist. Do you understand what I’m talking about? There were things that took us 10 years to see that take a month to see now, results. How long it took us to gather the resources that were used to buy this property, this ground at once? Plenty zeros. That is the whole Commission as it were. It has shortened so drastic(ally). What took years upon years to gather can come at once, just once now. Do you understand what I’m talking about? Just let the devil know that he has no power to deny purpose. Church Gist. He may only delay it a bit, but he can’t deny what has been purposed. For the Lord of host has purposed it, who can disannul? His hand is stretched out, who can turn it back?
- I stand here with a prophetic and apostolic mantle, to announce to somebody, your season of delay is over forever!
- If you’re saying Amen, you can shout it at the top of your voice.
Look at somebody by your side, say “It’s a battle of delay, but the delay is over. It’s a fight for the delay of manifestation, but the delay is over. The delay is over” Shout the loudest Amen! Who says you won’t have your children? Church Gist. Who says you won’t get married? I don’t care whether you are 60 years or 65 years, in the name of Jesus, surely there is an end and thine expectation shall not be cut short! Bible miracles will still happen! First child at 60-something, first child at 70-something.
6f: It’s a fight of focus and pursuit. We live in a world of battles and that battle, the 6th dimension of the battle is…I preached a message many years ago titled ‘The battle of focus’ Look for it. Church Gist. It is a fight of focus and pursuit. Enemies attempt to confront you to take your eyes off the goal, confronted until you are distracted from life’s assignment.
Proverbs 4:25-27. So, the time you should use to make progress, the devil wants you to divert it to solving matters, attending to issues, it’s a battle. It’s the battle of focus. There is nothing the devil fears like a focused woman, a focused man. Church Gist. That is when you can direct all the energies of your life, your potential, your vision, your prayer life, everything is just channelled in one direction. The gates of hell, the forces of darkness, they know that they cannot stand you. Church Gist. Three and the half years of focus from the Master Jesus, when He said “I must do the will of Him that sent me while it is day, the night cometh when no man can work” Those 3 and the half years of focus, the results have spanned through eternity.
Paul the Apostle said “One thing have I desired. This one thing I do. Forgetting the things that are behind, reaching forth to the things…” That man decided to just put everything and said “Look, I am…” Church Gist. The devil knows that if you have nothing bothering you, the witches in the whole of your community may die one night. If you have nothing bothering you, you are going to run in evangelistic outreaches, you are going to do this and you are going to do that. Church Gist. So he says “How can we slow this guy down? How can we reduce his fire? Just give him some battles” But it is over! I said it is over!
So, you must be conscious of the fact that the devil is…there are some people looking for your trouble. It is actually not your trouble they are looking for, it is your focus. The devil is using them to look for your focus. Church Gist. He just wants to…”This man is too focused. Let’s just release some people to talk against him. Let’s just engage him. Just engage him in one way or the other. The rate at which he’s going is like a magnifying glass that is about to concentrate the rays of light on a dry forest and set a forest on fire. Just distract him. Diffuse his rays”
Look at your neighbour, and say “That devil lost a battle”. Church Gist. I am about, by the anointing of the Lord, releasing somebody by the mantle of God on my life with a higher level, a new level of brutal focus that will sink the devils of your territories. If you’re saying Amen, say the loudest Amen!
Papa Oyedepo had a 7-year period of his life where he was the focus of one particular Preacher, 7 years. Every day, he comes on the Altar and by name he mentions him, carries his book, tears it on television. “Useless, nonsense book. Church Gist. What is this? It’s demon” All manner. Papa said he didn’t answer a word, he just focused. He said the more they attacked, the more he focused and the more he focused, the bigger he got. Those kinds of voices you don’t hear forever. When you make another human being your ministry, you have no assignment. Very soon, you will be out of…you have no assignment at all. Moving “This one did this, that one did that” and the devil will be pushing him and saying “Go ahead, waste your life, waste your time” Church Gist. The kind of thing…you’re hearing it now, that kind of preaching can’t produce it oh. The focus is diverted. Human beings are suffering, you are not offering solutions. People are in pits, you won’t pull them out.
There are times when someone comes to give you trouble, the trouble is not you. It is your focus it is looking for. “Leave what you are facing and face me” That was what happened to Elisha. “Do you know that God is about to take your father from you? Church Gist. Come let’s discuss it” He said “I know it, hold your peace. You people are aimless, you don’t have what to do with your life. By the time I come with a double portion, you will see me”
- I prophesy to somebody here today, the level of focus you are going to move from here with, all the devils who have ever troubled you, they shall be roasting by the fire of your focus”
- Look at your neighbour and say “Just face your front. Church Gist. Keep on moving. No turning, no stopping. No U-turn, no slowing down. Just keep on” That is a fight of focus.
1g: It is a fight against what the enemy fears. There are things about you that you are not aware of that the devil is afraid of concerning you. Church Gist. There are many times it appears as if the devil has more information about some people than they have of themselves. You know, he served with God so he had access to certain secrets. The devil fights people he fears. That is why everybody is not a focus of his fight most times.
Acts 4:15-17. For as long as these men are on assignment there is challenge, ‘wahala dey’ If the devil fears you, he will try and fight you and if your fight appears bigger than the fight of others, it means your fear is heavier in his heart. Church Gist. Hallelujah! When topics come up and it’s Papa Adeboye, Papa Oyedepo and so on in certain quarters, the irritation is higher. It’s as if some people drank ‘kai kai’ (alcohol) They almost want to run crazy because these are mega vessels. Mega vessels that have caused colossal damage. Church Gist. Collosal damages in the kingdom of darkness with collateral damages, several places. Do you understand what I’m saying? If the devil fears you, he will fight you.
When I was growing up as a child, I had achieved nothing with my life yet, yet the devil was almost trying to suffocate my life. I had not achieved nothing, I had become nothing. Convulsion, convulsion. Church Gist. I stayed at home for two years. Let me say it like this, by the time my mates were in 400 Level, some of them were in 400 level that finished the same year with me from secondary school, I was still just stepping into 200 Level with good results. Just slowed down. One university I chose, I had more than the cut off point for medicine, I wasn’t taken. More than enough cut off point, those who had less got it but I now know why. Because if I went to that other university, I wouldn’t have met my wife in the second University. Church Gist. Because it was the second one that I went where I saw that girl. She’s thanking God that I didn’t go to the first university. (Laughs). But at that time, it was not funny. So, one year at home and that one year was Bible School. Seven hours, devil, you must feel it. Eight hours tonguing, rugged fasting. Church Gist. That was my own Bible School. God’s Generals, Why Revival Tarries – all manner of materials. Are you hearing what I’m saying here today?
Beloved brothers and sisters, the devil is afraid, you may not know it, there’s a subtle fear of the forces of hell concerning what God will do with your life.
- But I have a prophecy for the devil, not you, the fear of that devil shall come on him!
- what the devil is afraid of concerning your life, it must happen to the devil.
- receive a fresh baptism of a violent, rugged spirit.
1h. Finally, it is a fight to silence your voice. But who said your voice shall not be heard? That tongue of fire has raised many dead. Acts 4:17. Church Gist. “What do you want to tell another person?” That’s what the devil is saying. “You, you don’t have a job. That man is millionaire, you want to preach to him, he’s the one to preach to you”. That devil is a liar. “You’re not married and you’re 35 now, see those who are married and they said you should go and preach and you agreed? Let God help you to marry first”. Yes. He will say, “see, your blood pressure is high, you’ve been praying, it has not come down yet and then they’re saying you should come to Church for Workers’ meeting. Tell God to heal you at home, then you’ll come for the meeting”. Church Gist. The devil is a bastard oh. They badstard his own bastard, it’s ‘BAD’, Badstard. He wants to silence your voice, mute you. He wants to do things to close your mouth. So, you’ll tell the devil, “you can’t close my mouth”.
A highly respectable minister called me and we were talking on the phone. He said, “Pastor, I want to let you know, as we are getting close, I’m getting close to you. I want you to know that I have a marital problem”. Church Gist. “What is it?” He said it was as if his wife was running a different ministry inside the Church. When he tried his best to slow her down, she said she wants divorce. He did everything possible, called his father in the Lord to talk to the woman, she refused and divorced and then started her own ministry next to the Church and some 500 people followed her. Church Gist. There are agents of the devil, even if they don’t love the woman, just to fight the work of God. Agents everywhere. Followed her, just followed her and said, “we’ll follow you, the man is a bad man sef”. She pastored that Church for like one year, it closed down. So, the man said, “This is my story. Ask anybody, ask my father in the Lord”. I said, “you know what? Your voice will not be silenced. Your voice cannot be silenced. That agenda of hell is a fight against your destiny and the fight has failed”. “Pray along with me, just keep praying for me”. Heavy unction Sir. Just because the devil fears the weight of mantle of that (Pastor), decided to pass through his wife and turn her to a devil. Church Gist. And I was so glad he told me because other people had told me before about him and said exactly the same story. The man is divorced but not his problem, this was what happened. I said, “what you’re telling me, I heard it already and I am convinced”.
- No devil will frustrate your life! No devil will destroy your destiny!
- if you’re saying Amen, shout the loudest Amen.
- No devil will destroy your destiny! No devil will frustrate your life’s assignment.
- If you’re saying Amen, shout the loudest Amen.
- Lift your hands and say, “in the name of Jesus, I am involved in a fight but I am destined to win and I must win and my voice must be heard!”
It is a fight to silence your voice which shall not succeed. Church Gist. So, what we have said so far is that we need brutal fighting spirit because:
- We live in a world of battles. And under this number one, we have seen the reasons for the battles. So, we live a world of battles.
Why do we need a brutal fighting spirit? What else is the reason why you need a brutal fighting, aggressive, violent fighting spirit?
- We need to fight in order not to end as casualties and victims. You need to fight, all those fights I mentioned, you need a fighting spirit, you need a brutal fighting spirit in order not to end as a victim or a casualty of life’s battle. Church . You need to fight to stay in victory. We need to fight to stay in victory.
1 John 5:4. So that you’re not a casualty of spiritual warfare. So that you don’t come to a point where the devil frustrated you away, harassed you into stagnation, confronted you into discouragement. Church Gist. You need it, you need a fighting spirit, you need a violent spirit, you need an aggressive spirit.
- is God speaking to somebody here?
2 Corinthians 2:14. We need to fight so that we can triumph everywhere.
- We need to fight to take flight and to maintain flight.
Isaiah 60:8. It takes a fight to experience a flight and to remain in flight. I’ve told you about the aerodynamics of an aircraft before. The force of thrust pushes it, the lift takes it up and fights gravity. The thrust pushes it forward and fights against the drag and while he’s there, he must remain up. Just remain up there! By a fight! All day! Interconnected forces must be in place to remain right up there. Listen! To remain in the floor, you need no effort but to remain in the air… No effort to remain in the ground but to remain up a force is required. Things drop on their own but they rise by force. On their own, they will drop from the table, something just drops but if it will rise a force is required. Church Gist. How many of you know that there are many people both demon and human ‘peoples’ who are very, very mad that you are neatly dressed? If ever you go up, the number of people who want you down multiplies. That is the truth! Some may be from your family. Bible says a man’s worst enemy are members of his household. Crabology! What we call ‘ekpuricality’. You know crabs? Put a hundred crabs inside a basket, don’t cover it, none will go out. None! Because all the crabs will like to pull the other one down. If one is going up they pull it down. “Remain here!” Try it! Pick crabs, put them in a basket, don’t cover it. None will run. 99 won’t allow one to go out. The 99 crabs are their brother’s keeper. They will pull down the leg of one: “Come let’s remain here! Where are you going? Who do you think you want to leave behind?” How many of you have seen the practicality of what I’m talking about, former friends? Even right now you are experiencing it! Former friends! Loved ones! Those who won’t answer your greeting. What is your offence? You are up! That is why some go diabolical.
You know? Bitterness is the junior sister of witchcraft. Junior sibling! Bitterness matures into witchcraft. We call it elementary witchcraft. Bitterness! Yes! I’ll tell you a story. A young man is actually my classmate from secondary school, he’s a pharmacist. He said where he was working in the hospital, a youth corper came and was stranded so he gave the youth corper accommodation in the hospital. In the night the youth corper woke him up and said: “I just wanted to let you know but don’t be afraid, I am a wizard. (Laughing). In the middle of the night, he said just to let you know that I am a wizard. I am a ‘witchcraft’. All I just wanted to let you know, I can help you in any area. Don’t be afraid.” The man said he was shaking but because he has some challenges in his life. He said you know? Witchcraft is not the way you think. I can initiate you, you can be helped. Church Gist. Long story made short, he took his name to his father, the father of the youth corper who is a wizard – the baban wizard. So when the man searched this guy out in the spirit, he said: “The man you’re living with, you have brought to initiate. He cannot be because his heart is not wicked enough.” They scanned him! Eh! He is not wicked enough. He won’t be able; he’s a soft person. There are qualifications. You need some degree of bitterness to pass their entrance exam. You need a high wickedness index. Are you hearing what I’m saying here today? The ‘bitter -softness’ ratio must be high. You see? So When people are playing with bitterness, it’s (an) invitation for witchcraft. Very soon they will see themselves in some meetings where they are sharing meat, very soon they will see themselves flying in the night. Very soon they will see themselves cutting something in the dream and somebody is hurt in the day. So you need a fighting spirit so that their bitterness can be inconsequential. They may hate you but they can’t harm you, they may hate you but they can’t harm you. They may do everything, their head may scatter because of you but that is it.
-I stand here to announce to somebody, every agenda of witchcraft, agenda of hell targeted at your life. That agenda is frustrated!
Tell your neighbour you need a fighting Spirit to take flight and to stay flying.
- We need to fight in order to be and do all that God intends for you to be and do in your lifetime.
You need a fight in order to be and in order to do everything God intends for you to be and to do in your lifetime. Like we said earlier on, there are forces from the kingdom of darkness who don’t want you to be or to do what God wants. You need a fight. 2 Timothy 4:6-8. This is my meaning, you need to fight so that you don’t fall short of destiny. You don’t fall short in any way. So you don’t disappoint divinity you need a fighting Spirit. So you don’t disappoint destiny, you need a fighting Spirit. So you don’t end in regrets, you need a fight! Church Gist. So you don’t appear before God and He says: “Why didn’t you fulfill your destiny” and you say: “The witches were too much. Where I went to do ministry there was a satanic altar that I could not defeat! No! My ancestors, they served devil too much, the ancestral curse is too powerful, generational powers were too many. I had a lot of witches that are Church members. No! No excuse! No!!! No devil can stop me, I’m the one to stop the devil. No devil can stop you, you are the one to stop the devil. No witch can stop you, you’re the one to stop the witch. No force of hell can stop you, you are the one to stop the forces of hell. If you’re receiving the fighter Spirit, lift your hands and say I receive!

In the late 70s, Word of Faith and Pentecostal people in those days said “Do you have any message for the devil? I can show you where to write it. Church Gist. Under my shoes because that is where he will read it from” That is what we used to say in those days. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Somebody, say a loud Amen!
When Jesus died and resurrected, he left for us a defeated devil. “All power is given unto me in Heaven and on Earth. The power satan had I stripped him. All power. Church Gist. Now, you go into the World and make disciples of all nations. In my name, you shall cast out devils. That is, I have handled the devil for you. I want you to help me maintain him”. What do we call the first dose before the maintenance therapy? The start dose. Church Gist. “I have given the devil the start dose of defeat, just maintain the defeat” It’s like the first injection they give to bring blood pressure down, that dose is heavier than the one they give to keep the blood pressure normal. He said “I’ve given him the dose that brought him into defeat, continue to give him the dose that maintains his defeat” Am I communicating? Church Gist. But many of us, what happened in Chronicles is what is happening. “Keep this man, if he is missing, your life will go for his life. And as I was busy here and there, the man escaped” No, you can not be busy here and there, let us re-arrest him.
Somebody said if the devil is a defeated devil, why is he still doing bad things? The truth is that he is a lawless personality, lawless entity. But this is the picture. There was a time that there was Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. Church Gist. Evander Holyfield had a heart disease that was healed and he returned back into boxing and fighting with Mike Tyson. Tyson was a title holder. Evander Holyfield fought Tyson and took the title from him, defeated him, beat him black and blue and took the title. This is the point. The fact that Evander Holyfield defeated Tyson and took the title from him does not mean that Tyson does not have power. He has not lost fighting ability. He has lost the title, he has lost the title of the champion but he can still fight. Church Gist. He can still mess up but not where Holyfield is. The devil may attempt to mess up but not where you are. We are the representatives of the One who defeated him. He gave you His delegated authority.
Stand upon your feet, somebody.
Keep him, in the Church, in your family, keep the devil where he belongs. We are going to see fighters who took charge in Scriptures. Church Gist. We are going to see what do we fight with and we are going to see the reward of the fighter. Because the mighty Man of war is excited when He sees sons of war. We’ll see that tomorrow.
I want you to use the next 5 minutes in brutal tonguing. “Lord, you are the mighty Man of war, give me a little deposit” A little deposit, do you know what I want to call it? A little deposit of your warmanship, war Man. They call Him Man of War, capital letter M. Church Gist. “A little measure of your warmanship. The kind of thing that happened for us in Zambia, I’m trusting the Lord for the repeat of it on almost a daily basis. We were holding a crusade in Zambia and on the crusade ground, a wizard, those who were working at the crusade ground suddenly saw a man stark naked on the floor, lying down. Church Gist. They went to ask him “What is going on?” He said he was sorry, he was an international wizard, flying from one country. We don’t want to mention that country anymore because the people of that country said oh, they felt embarrassed when they heard that the wizard was coming from their country. He was flying. When he came across the crusade venue, he crystallized. Church Gist. Bilateral engine failure. Witchcraft engine failed. Witch crash, not plane crash. Witch crash. They said, “What was the turbulence in the air?” It was a no flight zone. Witch crash.
This happened in Area One before like 20 years ago. We were doing a night vigil, all of a sudden, there was eruption outside. Here was a woman lying on the ground. Church Gist. “What happened to you?” “I’m sorry” “What’s going (on)?” “I was just passing and left somewhere in Nasarrawa State going to Minna for meeting” Crossing our Church, the engine failed. Witch crash. The navigation wasn’t inputted well. They shouldn’t have passed through there. They should have…(He said Dunamis Triangle like, Bermuda Triangle) Witch crash. Church Gist. She was as black as earth. If you saw her eyes, you didn’t need a devil. We are trusting the Lord for the frequency of satanic harassment. Harassment for the devil and his kingdom on a normal basis.
One day I was preaching very brutally in the Area One Church, I think it was a healing and deliverance service. Church Gist. “If you are a witch here, you are in trouble” Somebody said “I want to go” They said, “What is it?” She said “I want to go”
