Two years after graduation, Pastor Poju Oyemade founded Covenant Christian Centre on Hussey Street (beside West African Examination Council near Yaba College of Technology) Yaba, Lagos.
Today, now known as The Covenant Nation, the ministry is rapidly spreading not only in Lagos, but all over Nigeria.
