Gateway International Church (GIC) is a Spirit-filled Church, that has her headquarters located at 30/32 Elioparanwo Road, Off Ada George, Mile 4 Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Gateway International Church was founded on 7th January, 1996 by Pastor George Izunwa, who is called and anointed by God to “go teach My people strength”. Pastor George Izunwa also serves as the lead Pastor at the Church headquarters where he co-pastors with his wife, Pastor Mrs Manuela George-Izunwa, a former commissioner of women affairs in Rivers State.
At Gateway, they honor God, love people, turn millions into Christ followers, bring healing to the hurting and empower members to fulfill their divine destinies.
Her mission is to help people genuinely encounter God by adhering to three (3) core values that drive their activities, which include;
• Love God Passionately,
• Love People Unconditionally, and
• Live their Faith Intentionally!
Her vision is to empower members to walk in righteousness, enjoy the blessings of God, actualize their life purpose, serve the Kingdom of God, positively influence their world, and spend eternity with God.
They hold an annual program tagged ‘January to Please God’ a 12-day prayer and Prophetic encounter which was birthed in 1998 after God’s Word to the lead Pastor saying, “If you give me your January, I will give you the whole Year!”
GIC has branches across Nigeria; specifically in Abia State, Rivers State, Abuja, Lagos State, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa states including campus Churches which can be easily located using their website.
