Isaiah 45:1-5
Father we thank you, bring revelation to our heart. Let lives not remain the same. Since you inspired the writing of the word, inspire the teaching also, so that both the speaker and the hearer will be catapulted to where they belong, in Jesus name.
Revelation 3:7-9
Ladies and Gentlemen I want to share with you a foundational secret. I want to first of all go to the source of our problems. When Isaiah 45 was written Cyrus was not born. This was 100 years before he was born. If you want to write a book you start with the prologue, the preface and then Chapter 1 but God starts from the end. Anything you see God start, He finished it before He started it. Cyrus appeared in the book of Daniel for the first time. God had an end before this thing started.
I grew up in Ilorin and their intent is to model Ilorin like Mecca. At the age of two, a child’s parents will hand him over to a Mallam to tutor him so that before he is five he can recite the Torah. Take a Muslim that was raised this way, take him to America, he is still a Muslim. Take him to Venezuela, he is still a Muslim because the first thing he was taught was the oracles of his God. But some of us you first of all learnt all sort. Science and education and everything in the secular were carefully shrouded to take God out of the picture. If you are the type that don’t renew your mind consciously, you will never see the wonders of God because you have been messed up before you discovered yourself. They have knocked God out of your system. Church Gist. You may be a pastor and still be working in doubt. It played out during the pandemic, you saw some of your colleagues who were talking like they don’t know God. Holiness is not the kind of suit you wear, it is your thought pattern. It is how big your God is, who do you think God to be. The preoccupation of Babylon is to give you an option that is diametrically opposed to the option of God.
God started education, the first person who wrote was God. Most systems and laws have their foundation in God. God designed man to be educated in his spirit and from his spirit his mind will be renewed and his mind affects his body. Satan said that is bullshit. I am going to educate you from your mind, your spirit can be dead. Church Gist. The devil always brings the synthetic of the authentic. An average Muslim the thing in the Koran has caught his spirit before he entered secular education. What did Moses’ mother tell him that he refused to be called Pharaoh’s son? That boy grew up in the Palace of Pharaoh but refused to be called Pharaoh’s daughter’s son because the first thing that he was told was Kingdom Advancement. You think you are exposed but what you are calling exposure was arranged to limit you.
If you don’t get the understanding of these dimensions when someone is talking to you about giving you will say I believe in it but you never practice it. Yesterday I gave a call if you knew these things you will step out before you knew where the money is coming from because God gives seed to the sower. He that findeth a girlfriend findeth a good thing? Who do they find? That girl was a wife that was why she was found. Church Gist. She is not married but she positioned herself as a wife and that is why she was found. Warri guys, you want marry one girl you say make you take am out. She show up with eight of her friends, them dey order anyhow. Na wife be that? That one go finish your money na. No be say you want make she dey cook for you everyday but one day she had to cook. Just to cook indomie when them don already prepare all the ingredients the indomie dey float for water, na wife be that? Na knife be that. Same way you position as a sower before money starts to come to you.
Yesterday I was talking and sweating but it was landing on a stronghold. If you take syringe and remove the needle then you rub the drug on your body will it work? It did not penetrate. Did you encounter injection Yes you did. Did you use it the way the manufacturer said you should use it. No you didn’t. You know these drugs used for stomach ache that are suspended. Water is on top, the drug is at the down. They wrote it on the bottle SHAKE BEFORE USE. Church Gist. You saw it and you shook your body instead of the drug and you used the water. They said shake the drug not your body and you say this thing no dey work. Did you follow the manual? Your shaking is too much, you dey pray dey disturb us every day. Oga give, No! You are shaking yourself and using the water on top. You followed the instruction the way you wanted but not the way the manufacturer wanted it. You will not get result.
Before that vessel was born God knew him. Before his parents were born, God knew his name. Holiness does not only mean purity, holiness means something that is set apart and different. God is holy, nobody is in His class. God is in a class that He does not fail. If he tells you to do something and you don’t do it, it is because you did not know who was talking to you. So if you want to title this message, I am talking to you about the God that spoke. The moment I heard the theme of this Conference – End of Normal. I knew the God that spoke.
- I prophesy to you that this is the end of normal in your life.
I am convinced that there are a lot of Christians who come to Church everyday and shout Jesus but don’t know who they are dealing with. Understanding the God that Spoke. Why will you not be a giver? Because you don’t know who is speaking. You have not seen people that God prospered before.
Some of you have no business doubting God because if you look at your life you will see all the things God has done for you already. I got into the University when I was 15 going to 16, I didn’t know anything about cultism but after a year I was the Number 2 man. But all those times, I will hear a voice saying “Biodun, what are you doing here?”. I will ask my friend if he heard it, he will say I am drunk. I heard it many times. Even while I was there, God was guiding me.
Many years after Israel went into captivity before Cyrus became king of Babylon. When Cyrus became King, he was an unbelieving king but God said I have anointed you. Anointed him for what? Cyrus was the one anointed to set the children of Israel free. After he released the children of Israel, he said “who among you is strong enough to go and build a house for your God?”. He gave them materials and resources to go and build. Church Gist. There is no trouble you are going through that God will not raise someone to take you out of it. He is a God worth following, He is the God worth serving. When you see a man who thinks he is wiser than God and is not obeying the word of God, you see a man who will not go far. Everything God has designed for you is linked with instructions. Instructions are the highway to success. There are some prophecies over your life that have not come to pass because you are not following God.
There are many things in my life I can trace to meetings like this. I remember when Pastor Matthew organized the Uncommon Leaders Summit, my first son was just two years old. I drove from Ilorin to Maryland with my ‘tuke tuke’ car and I didn’t even sit inside I sat outside. I remember Bishop Oyedepo preached, Pastor Otabil preached and Pastor Matthew preached also. Pastor Mathew came to the overflow to check whether the screens were working, I was sitting at the third overflow. They raised funds and we packed everything we had for feeding and for the hotel and we sowed it. I had to go stay with my friend with my wife and the baby. From that day my life began to take shape. Meetings like this were not designed for you to attend and say “Wow! That was a nice meeting” but that six months after, a year after you look back and the impact is there. Don’t waste your time, don’t waste your energy. God doesn’t gather people to waste their time. If God brought you here, He is mindful of you.
Revelation 3:7
I don’t know what you are going through but when God speaks it’s over. I appreciate God for breakthroughs but you have to break in. When you have open doors you just walk in. He said in Micah 2:30 “the breaker has gone ahead of you”.
- Poverty is shut against you.
- The sickness that made people not live long in your family is shut against you.
I had a friend who after I gave my life to Christ, I preached to him. So when I started listening to messages about prosperity I was enthused about it so I spoke to him and He said he doesn’t believe. That was because his mother was a nurse in Saudi Arabia and she was sending him money. After some time his mother retired and sent him money for the last time. While coming from Western Union with the money, he met some people who were money doublers and he gave them the money. They swindled him. When he told me, I laughed at him. So he wants to prosper, he wants his money to double, but he doesn’t believe God. Many of us are like that.
Your prosperity is not absolutely up to God and it’s not absolutely left to you. Please stop listening to doctrines that position you like you shouldn’t do anything. When I meet people who preach that junk, I ask them to show me their results. If you happen to have results then show me three people following you that have results. Everyone who got results from Jesus worked, he made you use what you to get what you want. God is crazy about faith, there must be something we can multiply. Church Gist. God needs a partnership, if you are not ready to work with God you are going to end as a talkative. God wants to do the impossible in your life, God wants to transform your life. Not knowing who is talking to you is your problem. If you know who is talking to you, you will react differently.
- In the name of Jesus enter into strange abundance.
In 2 Kings 6, there was famine in the land till the point that people began to boil their children but the prophet said by this time tomorrow things will change, there was an economist that was analyzing. He said you are going to see it but you are not going to eat of it because he didn’t know the God that was talking. If you are not going to believe, stop coming to church.
