Praise the Lord! I will take a short Charge and then we hear God’s Word. If purpose is not known for anything you do, abuse is inevitable. This is not the Message, it is a Charge. Church Gist. Why do we have Home Cells? Home Cell is actually to care for one another. He says, ‘Be your brother’s keeper and let us bear one another’s burden’.
Christianity will never be complete if you are not the type that loves your brothers and your sisters John 13:35. Please, Home Cell is not for those who are poor, it is not for those who are suffering. Home Cell is actually a New Testament Kingdom practice where people come together as a family and then stay and worship God in a house. Church Gist. Every one of us who is a member of this Church must belong to a Home Cell because the Church is so big that in the Church nobody will know you.
How do you care for people in the Home Cell?
1. I said in the First Service, make sure you are familiar with other members of the House Fellowship.
2. Call them from time to time, visit them when you have not seen them and when they have challenges. A phone call from you can make a lot of difference Acts 15:36. Church Gist. So it’s important you say, ‘Brother, how are you faring? We have not seen each other in the Home Cell for one or two days, hope you are okay. That alone will show that you care, is that clear?
Give attention to them, those of you who are old members, don’t look down on anyone, show them love and pray for them when necessary. Somebody is in the hospital, go to the hospital and pray for the person. If the person has delivered, go and see the person. Don’t say, ‘I don’t need anybody’! You need others, you can’t be alone. Don’t just give money, also care! Let your legs be their legs, go and visit them. Church Gist. Pray for them when they are in trouble, make a phone call and say, ‘How are you? Hope you are okay. Is everything alright? That way you will show true love. If you actually love Salvation Ministries, then you will be part of the Home Cell and also care for one another. It’s very important because most of you, you invite souls you don’t even tell them to attend Home Cells, make sure you are part of the Home Cells.
-And every one that begins to do that, God will reward you in the Name of Jesus!
This month is our month of ‘Reigning With The Word’. And we will be looking at today, ‘HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD’. If you must win as a child of God, the Word of God must be your foundation because He upholds all things by the Word of His power Hebrews 1:3. The Word of God is the master key for exploits. The depth of revelation you have in God’s Word determines the exploit you have on earth. Church Gist. Daniel 11:32b, it is those who know their God and not those who know men that will do exploits. I know no man of any kind yet I am very successful, it is not the people you know that determine the level at which you attain success – It is the God you know! Daniel succeeded in Babylon, Joseph succeeded in Egypt! It is not the Head of State or President you know that matters, it is the God you know.
In my studies, I was just meditating. He said, ‘I distinguish Myself in My people’s life every time there is hardship in the land. When Nigeria for instance was very rich, the Church was very poor. In fact, in those days, they referred to the Church as, ‘The Church rat’. Church Gist. That is, it was so bad that they say, ‘As poor as a Church rat’. They equated poverty with the Church! Today, people are very angry, they say, the Church is too rich, true? Haa! The Church is not the building, the Church is you and I.
-I decree, no matter the hardship in the land, you will be among the very wealthy!
It’s a paradox! It’s when things are hard that God proves Himself. That’s why you need to have understanding of the Word Psalms 119:130, John 1:5. Church Gist. If you must command exploits in any area of your life, you must go for Light from God’s Word, darkness can’t stand the Word of God.
What’s the role of the Holy Spirit with the Word? 2 Timothy 3:16.
Without the Holy Spirit, you will never understand the Bible. Church Gist. What is His role when it comes to the Word of God?
1. The Holy Spirit is the one who teaches the Word.
He is the teacher of the Word. Without Him, you can’t understand Bible John 14:26.
Declaration: Teach me Holy Spirit.
He unfolds spiritual understanding so that you can receive everything God has given to you 1 Corinthians 2:2-14. You can’t understand this Bible with your natural senses, you need Him.
Declaration: I need the Holy Spirit to understand.
Have you not read the Bible and somebody says, ‘I don’t know what you are talking about’! Because the person does not have understanding. Without the Holy Spirit, you can’t understand this Book. That’s why Professors of Theology confuse people the more because they read it like Literature textbooks. Church Gist. Without the Holy Spirit, you can’t understand the Word of God, it is not a motivational Book. Please understand, He is the one that teaches. You can’t read my book now and understand it more than me, I am the author. So if I am the author, I will tell you what I mean by what I say. True? So He is the only One who can tell you what He is talking about, He is the One that gave inspiration to Men of God to write the Bible 2 Peter 1:21.
2. The Holy Spirit transforms our lives through the Word
God speaks to you through the Word. Let me say this to you, ‘Satan’s deception can only be overcome by the Word that is in you’. If you don’t know the Word, satan will deceive you. He will tell you what is not true. Church Gist. Say I hear! Now for instance, if you know no Bible, you will think that running to a Nation determines your prosperity, true? Am I talking? Now, even you who is in Church, most of you want to run away from your countries but I know Bible too much that it is not the Nation that makes people, it is where God sends you. Your provision is in the center of God’s vision for your life.
By the Bible, I know, it is not a Nation that makes people, it’s being at the place where God has sent you. Is that clear? Hello! But if you don’t know Bible you will run. Some of you, even now, want to run. You know? Abraham went to Egypt, Isaac wanted to run to Egypt, God said, ‘No! Don’t go to Egypt, stay here! And he prospered there! True? Church Gist. Do you know? My wife is a living witness, they told me to be in America when we went to do Crusade and miracles happened. They said, ‘Sir, this kind of grace is not found in United States, remain here! I told them, ‘God did not send me to United States’. Who is who in America said, ‘Look, the miraculous is going off’!
Because if you look at America today, outside the Benny Hinns, Copeland, my mates down, you will hardly find – Few people! Only one or two are in the miraculous. So if you are in the miraculous, it’s as if you took over America but God did not send me there. They told me and said, ‘Sir, with the kind of grace you carry, United States will explode and I said, ‘God did not send me to explode here’! Church Gist. He has sent me to be in Africa and touch you there’. But if I don’t know the Bible, I will go to United States and maybe by now I will be with fifty people, God forbid! And you speak all the English and then nothing will be happening. If you are in the wrong place, you will suffer.
-You will not suffer!
The worst thing to do is to be in the wrong place. If you are suffering, check whether God sent you there. So, He helps to transform our lives, He helps to design our thoughts. Now, listen carefully, have you ever stayed like this, your mind is battling with some nasty thoughts? Without the Word of God, you will not know what is bad from what is good. True? Church Gist. He is the one that will filter your thoughts and say, ‘This thought is not godly’. Do you know that people come to Church all they think is carnal things, inside Church! ‘See, that girl fine oo, see that boy fine oo’. They are inside Church but their mind is very carnal.
I know people who are very carnal. That is, they come before God’s presence but they are very carnal because they don’t have the Spirit of God going through it. So you talk to them saying, ‘Don’t think like that’! They say, ‘Nah!!!! When I’m in Church, I look for a fine babe’! The Word of God is what filters your thought to know that in God’s presence, you must separate everything that does not edify Him. Is that clear? Are you hearing what I’m saying? Church Gist. Now, if you don’t know the Word and you come to God’s presence, you will be very carnal. To be carnal does not mean you are a sinner but your thought is not in line with the Word of God. Are you hearing me? But God’s Word makes you to know what is bad and what is wrong. It’s the Word of God. Say I hear! It filters you to say, ‘This thing you are thinking is wrong’!
There are people now, even as I am talking now, all your thinking is man and woman. Choi! That babe, she has straight legs’. Do you know that people come to Church to toast girls, he came to Church oo. He says, ‘Babe, how you dey na’? He thought Church is night club or Church is a social club. Church is not a social club, Church is a House of God. You don’t toast babe, if you want to marry, propose to her. Tell her, ‘I want to marry you’! If she does not agree, forget! Move on! But don’t come there and say, ‘Babe, how you dey na? Church Gist. They don’t look for babe in the Church! And don’t write notes and give to any man, it’s wrong! Some of you write notes and give to men in the Church, are you okay in your head? This is not a political society, this is a Church of House of God. You can’t write notes: ‘I just love you’! Inside Church! Something must be wrong with you! You don’t slip notes into a man’s hand in the Church. Say I hear! Now, the reason, the Holy Ghost helps you to differentiate that this is not a social club, this is a House of God. That’s His work! Say I hear! He transforms you with the Word of God. That’s His work!
-May He transform you today! 2 Timothy 3:16. Today, may He help you and I.
He is the author of the Bible, so the Bible can only be interpreted by Him. But I want to go evangelical now, glory to God!
3. The Holy Spirit can change every situation for the best with the Word of God.
Declaration: Holy Spirit, change situations around me for the best with the Word of God.
So I’m gonna minister from there! Glory to God! You know why? Without Him, we can’t succeed in this complicated world. How many will want to make it? Zechariah 4:6. In the First Service, I said:
i. He provides hope.
ii. He is the only One who can change people.
iii. He can change your circumstance.
iv. Your financial situation can change.
Declaration: My financial situation can change.
I actually wanted to minister healing, but I don’t know whether I will do it in this Service or the next Service.
——WORSHIP——-
I hear God as a man hears his friend, there is someone at the Headquarters you are in the Service. You have a terrible waist pain, come out. I will use you to pray for the sick.
-Everybody with sickness in the Name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, it leaves right now.
-I won’t need to shout, I know Him as I know my name, He’s working wherever you are! Everything that is not planted by God in you leaves right now!
Now, hear this and hear me well. How many want their financial situation to change? In 1 Kings 17:10-11, there was a widow called the Widow of Zarephath. She was preparing her last meal to die with her son. Church Gist. And the man of God called Elijah met her and said to her: ‘Make for me first’! The woman said: ‘This is my last meal, I want to eat and die’! It was a hard time just the way it is in many countries in the world. And Elijah stood and said, ‘A barrel of meal shall not fail and the cruse of oil shall not fail’ 1 Kings 17:14. When Elijah spoke, Heaven responded, that woman came out of hardship.
-The power of the Holy Spirit is at work right now, no matter how things are hard in the land where you are, I decree, you will be out of it!
In 2 Kings 4:1-7, another widow was highly indebted, her husband was owing – The Man of God and he died with the debt and they came to take her two sons which her husband used as collateral. And she cried to the Man of God Elisha, being the protégé of Elijah – They specialize in bringing out poor people. And Elisha said to her, ‘What do you have in your house’? She said: ‘…Save a pot of oil’! 2 Kings 4:2. Oil, oil! Every time we see this, there is a link – The other woman said, ‘A barrel of meal and said a cruise of oil’. And this one ‘oil’! And Elisha just said, ‘Shut the door’! Church Gist. That means, close your ear to side talk. When you are indebted, people will abuse you, when you are broke people will abuse you. So close your ears! Shut the door means, close your ears because every poor man will be castigated by people. That’s not the time to listen to people, that’s a time to look up to God. And this woman sowed the oil and came out of her debt, she had another left.
-I don’t know who is owing under the reach of my voice, I don’t know who is at the crossroad where you are so indebted, almost at your neck. Church Gist. I raise my voice as a New Testament Priest of God, and I stand and decree, be out of that debt!
-That mortgage, that loan you took that wants to embarrass you, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you are coming out as I am speaking right now!
In Matthew 17:27, they came to Jesus that He should pay tax, trying to embarrass the Messiah. Church Gist. Jesus laughed and said to Peter, ‘Go to the water, cast the hook, open the mouth of the fish, you will see coin there’! So God banks anywhere, He is not controlled by the Economy of the world, He is controlled by Heaven’s economy.
-I decree and I declare, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that no matter how things are tough in the land, God will make a way out for you.
You may say, ‘If Jesus was here, it wouldn’t have been so but the Holy Ghost is here’! Church Gist. Here is our Comforter! He represents Jesus!
-I speak to your life, you will hear and get instructions from Him in the Name of Jesus! Church Gist. He will tell you what exactly to do to come out of that financial situation in the Name of Jesus!
-Somebody’s hardship is ending as I’m prophesying! Somebody’s hardship is ending as I am speaking.
I think I will dwell on health specifically in the Fourth Service. Everybody on health, I’m going to minister on ways I’ve never gone. Even if I’ve gone, not this way, in a deeper way. Everybody for health, come for Fourth Service. I’m gonna dwell on health, you cannot say that you have sickness after Fourth Service. Church Gist. No matter the disease, it will go! Because I’m looking at it I want to go, but each Service, I will touch health a little bit but full health? That is totally, I will disintegrate in Fourth Service to health! How many want their children to change?
Declaration: My children can change!
When your children break your heart, you know? You have children remember, God can do something! How many of you know that God can do something? Sometimes children behave in a way you just wonder. How many of you know God can do something about your children? Sometimes you find some children doing something and you say, ‘God! What is it’? You know what God said in Psalms 127:3, I have never understood this Scripture until Light came! Who owns them? God! If God is the owner then they cannot be useless!
Declaration: God, you own my children!
——PRAYER——
Now, in the Name of Jesus! Any child giving you concern, turns by the power of the Holy Ghost. Church Gist. That your son, that your daughter. Those your sons and daughters, they will be the best in the Name of Jesus!
-Everyone looking for the fruit of the womb, be rewarded by the power of the Holy Ghost in the Name of Jesus! Church Gist. I decree, take in right now! No matter how complicated the medical jargon is, be fruitful in the Name of Jesus!
4. Your countenance can change
By the Holy Ghost! The Word gives joy. It is the absence of God’s Word that leads to sorrow of heart. Do you know? One of the ways to live long is joy. He says, ‘Threescore years and ten shall be your years, He said by strength…’ So people get old by strength and one of the ways to enjoy strength is by joy. So the more joyful you are, the longer you live. Do you understand? The Psalmist said: ‘Threescore and ten years’ Psalm 90:10. That is to say by strength! Strength makes you go beyond seventy. Is that true? Now, Psalms 90:10, so strength determines how long you go. The joy of the Lord is what? So the more joyful you are, the more you live. So the more depressed you are the earlier you die, so avoid depression. Church Gist. And you cannot be joyful without the Holy Ghost. It is the Holy Ghost that spreads joy. Look! Look! We are just excited not because we don’t have challenges but the Holy Ghost in us makes us not to see the challenges. Don’t think that Men of God don’t have challenges. No! But we don’t see it, we laugh, we jump because we don’t. When the Holy Ghost is not working in you, every little thing will weigh you down.
There are people if they have not eaten in the morning you will know. Even from their face, they will just show it. They will say, ‘We dey go Church but I no know wetin dey happen abeg! I don’t know wetin dey happen. They grumble, they murmur, they complain. You know why many of you have body pain here, this wahala here – Too much complaining. Church Gist. When you complain, you become a convict. It complicates your problems! Complaining in the world attracts sympathy, complaining in the Kingdom attracts wrath. Stop complaining you are not the only one going through challenges.
When we never had food in the house, I never one day came out frowning. In fact with one suit, no food, one shoe, I will be laughing! I will say, ‘Jesus is Lord! Glory to God’! I was not pretending! I don’t say, ‘God, why did you call me to suffer me’? Some of you, because of fuel sef, even you are angry. Church Gist. What has fuel got to do with your life? Just plan your life, reduce all your waka waka, reduce them – Come to Church, go to work. It’s okay! All those visits-visits use phone call, in fact the fuel increase should reprogram your life! Some of you, nothing oo, you enter road, ‘waa-waa’. Now, all those ‘Waawaawaa movements’ leave them. And the joy of the Lord should be your strength Nehemiah 8:10b. Be laughing, don’t say fuel as if the whole fuel na you dey use am, for what? Calm down!
-May the Holy Ghost make you to be joyful right now!
5. Your career and work can change
Do you know, work is a gift? How many of you know work is a gift? It can birth lifting, and financial provisions for you and your family Ecclesiastes 5:19. Church Gist. So when you are working you should enjoy it.
-I decree by the power of the Holy Ghost, you will never labour for another person to eat!! Church Gist. Every of our labour, we will live to enjoy it! If you believe it, say with me, ‘My story will change’!
In the Third Service, I will talk about students’ intelligence level can change. Your level of intelligence can change. I will share that in the Third Service, but let me close with businessmen for this Service for time’s sake. Church Gist. Your business can change! There was a frustration by a man called Peter, he was fishing with others in John 21:5-6 and Jesus met him. He said, ‘Cast your net on the right side’! And his business, all of a sudden turned.
-Today, by the Holy Ghost, frustration has ended in your life.
Declaration: Holy Spirit, give me direction in my business. Church Gist. I don’t want frustration anymore, I want it to come to an end!
-I decree stagnation and frustration to come to an end!
Now listen, every time God wants to change your story, there are people that can never change. Jezebel, never! She will never change so God removed her. Ahab refused to change and then he died in his sins, Korah refused to change and his entire family suffered the consequences. Church Gist. Elymas refused to change and he was pronounced blind. Pharaoh refused to change and he drowned in the Red Sea. When we are talking about change, there are people who will never change. They say, ‘What nonsense is that’?
-Everyone that has refused to change, that has condoned the wickedness, what happened to these people will happen to such persons in the Name of Jesus!

-I decree by the power of the Holy Spirit, everything contrary to redemption in your life drops off right now! Church Gist. There shall be a change of circumstances. A change of story! A new glory comes upon you in the Precious Name of Jesus!
All those in the academic world and studying, in the Third Service, I will dwell on wisdom, supernatural intelligence. Intelligence is in degrees and I’m gonna minister on that and then in the Fourth Service, I will dwell on health and life. Because if I mix them up… Third Service, I will dwell on the level of intelligence – Intelligence is in levels. Have somebody talked to you and you can’t comprehend what they are saying? Church Gist. That means your intelligence level has to shift. Nothing you will tell me in this world that I won’t understand, I was not like that before. Intelligence is in what? In levels. It is different from a degree.
You can have a Ph.D. and be stupid. Why will somebody who have First Class be taking cocaine, he is stupid, forgetting that the cocaine will destroy him but he’s sniffing cocaine – He’s stupid! So don’t mistake the two, intelligence is a different thing altogether. It’s different from just going to school. You can go to school and be very stupid. I’ve seen people who made First Class but they can’t comprehend what you are talking. You are talking this way, they are thinking this way! You say, ‘But you made First Class, why are you thinking this way’? I have seen people who are average and then they met Christ and their brains spark. Church Gist. Are you getting what I’m saying? So, even if you are at a level, there should be a shift in intelligence. The level of Daniel’s intelligence was different from the level of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were companions but Daniel was in another class. They were together but Daniel was still above them. True? Yes, they were companions but Daniel was in another class – He was in a different class altogether. So even within the same Church, if you are born again, there should be something surpassing about you. That is, the Holy Ghost will work in your brain, when you are talking to people they will say, ‘Wow’!
Life story! A First Class student who read Chemical Engineering came to my office, he was very brilliant when we were in school and then we were talking. He said, ‘Sir! Haa! You were not like this in school’! I said, ‘If I’m like this, why will you come to me’? He said, ‘I see a difference between you, you know? When they carry first, you will carry like twenty that kind of position! But we were talking and he saw my level of intelligence, he could not comprehend it’! He said: ‘Sir, you were not like this’! Church Gist. I said, ‘If I am like this, why will you come’? So I led him to Christ because he couldn’t comprehend the man he knew and the new man – The two were apart. If you are born again and then there is no difference, then something is missing. To be born again is to be intelligent again because we have the mind of God 1 Corinthians 2:16. Let me not go to Third Service, let me stop here, time is gone. You will be so… Third Service, there will be a spark in your brain.
