While ministering on Sunday, Pastor Kumuyi admonished believers not to make the statement, “I have decided to follow Jesus; no turning back” a mere confession.
He read from Hebrew 12:28 and he emphasized that our commitment and promise to serve God must be backed up by the grace of God. He further reiterated that our promise to serve God without God’s grace will make it a mere confession.
He further stated that without the grace of God, situations of life or friends may overturn our decisions to serve God; hence the need to beckon on God for grace to serve him in season and out of season.
