WINNING WEDNESDAY
Wole Oladiyun
Olawole Joseph Oladiyun is a Prophet, Author, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Senior Pastor of Christ Living Spring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Omole, Lagos State, Nigeria. He hails from Ondo State, Nigeria and was born on the 2nd of April, 1959 to Elder Samuel and Deaconess Dorcas Oladiyun. Baba Aladura, as he is fondly called had his Primary Education at Gboluji Anglican Grammar School, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State. He went on to obtain a Higher School Certificate in Ikare, Ondo State after which he gained admission into the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), to study Engineering. He proceeded to obtain his Masters of Business Administration from the prestigious Netherland Business School, Holland.
Pastor Wole Oladiyun was raised in the Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) founded by the prayer legend, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. He knew he was going towork for God because as early as age 6, he had an encounter with Christ. He said, “when I was age 6, Jesus will be appearing to me on a daily basis, staying on top of the roof. He will be talking to me in our native language, telling me you are my son. You will work for me. You will preach the Gospel, all over the world. Peace be on to you. I will ask people to come and see this man talking to me, he said he is Jesus. People would gather round me but they could not see him. Every day he will appear to me. He will tell me that and disappear everyday so when the thing was too persistent, my father now took me to one of our prophets. The man prayed and said Baba, this small boy will work for God, take him to our headquarters at Oke Isegun and let them pray for him and then hand him over to the Lord. My father then said one thing that he would like me to have a proper education and with that education, I will be able to go far. The pastor prayed and said oh, he will go to school but he will work for God. My father said now I release him wholeheartedly onto the Lord. So, I was asked to lie down on the altar. They prayed for me. They recited some Biblical portions for me, and rang the apostolic jingle/bell 7 times. They said today, this boy is signed over to work for the Lord. That was the beginning of what we are seeing today.”
After this encounter, his parents deemed it fit for him to be properly educated. He was enrolled in school. During his University days, Wole had to sell spare parts, chemicals and also go into wood business to make ends meet. After graduation, the Lord told him to go to any Christ Apostolic Church which he did and continued attending. Due to his hard work, he became a successful entrepreneur. He founded a chain of engineering and chemical businesses under the group name, JNISSI, that thrived and flourished. He distinguished himself as a brilliant building/civil engineer, rising to the top of his career as the Chief Engineer of a reputable engineering firm in Lagos. He successfully supervised several landmark buildings which today dot the landscape of Victoria Island and Lekki in Nigeria’s commercial capital city of Lagos.
When the call came, it was a big struggle for Wole because of his love for engineering. He was confused at a time and had to embark on 315 days fast where the Lord spoke to him.
For him to be adequately prepared for the Ministry, he went to the Latter Rain Bible School, Lagos. He also passed through Deeper Life Bible Church. He served at the Faith Family Bible Church, Ojodu, Lagos, for six years where he submitted himself as the assistant pastor to Rev. (Dr.) D. K. Aboderin before he was released to start the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry on the 2nd of April, 1998.
