“I WAS AFRAID TO PRAY FOR THE SICK”

ANYTIME YOU ARE USING THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, HAVE A REVELATION OF THE FACT THAT THE UNLIMITED POWER OF JESUS IS IN THE NAME.
IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS IN THE NAME OF JESUS, IT WILL CHANGE THE RESULTS YOU SEE WHEN YOU USE THE NAME.
IT DOESN’T MATTER THE SITUATION YOU ARE FACING, THE NAME OF JESUS IS BIGGER THAN IT.

Anytime you are using the name, have a revelation of the fact that the unlimited power of Jesus is in the name. Have the understanding that the authority of Christ is in the name, it will change the level of results that you are seeing with the name. Years ago when I was in Bible school doing my LDC, A man came into the class and I could see that He was physically challenged and I had a witness, the Holy Spirit said to pray for this man. I looked at him, the case was serious so I said so because of his own kind of condition, if he is not healed it will show and both of us are in Bible School together. So I said well, he is hearing the word as I am hearing the word. Let him hear the word and be healed by himself. Again, we had a midweek service, I think it was a week of emphasis. We were having a programme in Church. At that time we were holding a programme in Raji Oba and Midweek Service was in Canaanland. We were inside the Tabernacle and service was beginning and we were worshipping God and by the time I looked, I saw the man from the corner of my eyes coming somewhere. So I looked straight ahead, faced my business and concentrated very well on the service that day. Church Gist. So I got to Bible School the next day and I didn’t see the man. I felt the man must have been in an overflow. I said Thank God I didn’t see the man. That evening we went for service and as I was worshipping God at the beginning of the service, I saw the man from my peripheral view. He was coming towards me. How he is coming towards me inside the Faith Tabernacle as big as it is, is beyond me. So I am thinking, this is the same man again, so I start concentrating. Suddenly the man comes and sits beside me. That was the time we were using pews. He sits beside me so by the time I opened my eyes, he is here now. He was just by me. So I didn’t know what to do. I was focused, you know there is a kind of focus that is bad. You are focused but you can’t hear anything. As the service finished I am still trying to find out how I am going to escape. Church Gist. The man’s case looks tough. So we finish the service, shared the goodness and like we say congratulate your neighbour. So I had to congratulate him. At this point I congratulate him and I am about to dive out but the Holy Spirit captured me again “I said pray for this man”. So I said, “Sir do you mind if I pray with you?”. He said, “why not, please”. I was hoping he would not say so. So I prayed “in the name of Jesus, Lord perfect your son, let him be made whole”. I took my Bible and I ran out. All through the rest of Bible school, I never saw him again. But as I was driving home the Holy Spirit said to me and I can never forget “What I want to deliver you from is the fear of performance”. I said what do you mean? ” He said, “Listen, when you pray in my name, it is not you that will perform, it is me that will perform”. Church Gist. From that day, any shaking disappeared because I now discovered I am utilizing an authority, not mine. It is that revelation that expands your faith and causes you to deploy His power in the direction of any matter. So anything you are afraid of, it is your power you are looking at that is the reason. You are thinking, do I have enough power for this matter? Jesus said dump your own and use my own. When you utilize my own, you will see that no situation will not bow. From that point, it doesn’t matter the situation, I know His name is bigger than it.
Tonight I like you to know that every provision of the covenant is only for the redeemed. A woman came to Jesus and said he should heal her daughter. Jesus said it is not right to cast the children’s bread to dogs. Healing is the children’s bread. Until you are in Christ, it is not your right. So you can remain tormented by the enemy if you neglect so great a salvation.
Prayer: Lord by this table tonight whatever is not in Christ, let it be ejected from my life. Tonight it must come to an end.
Lift your hand to heaven and thank Him for the light of His word that has come your way tonight. Thank Him for the name He has given to you as an instrument of authority, of power. Celebrate Him He is worthy.
You know what to do now, anything you are confronted with, take the name as an instrument. Use it with understanding and as you do everything you do will start responding on your behalf.

- The wonders in the name will start responding on your behalf.
So keep reminding yourself that you have something. Peter said such as I have. There is a weapon in my hand, I have something. Church Gist. I can use it at any time. I have something to use at every point in time and that instrument is the name. - You will begin to see wonders, you will begin to see signs, you will begin to see miracles and so shall it be.
- The blessing of this night will keep speaking for you.
- You have waited upon the Lord tonight, your strength is renewed.
- Every desire of your heart tonight is commanded delivered.
