DON’T HAND OVER YOUR LIFE AND DESTINY TO ANY PROPHET, IT IS EQUAL TO NATIVE DOCTORISM

While rounding off his sermon on Sunday, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche cautioned the congregation on the need to discern prophetic words and not hand over their lives to a prophet, no matter how accurate they think the Prophet is.
His words echoed thus, “What is very critical about prophetic direction is that it is meant to come as a confirmation, not a basic form of direction. Don’t hand over your destiny to any prophet to tell you what to eat, what to wear, ‘see road clear for me, I wan travel’. That is more like native doctorism.
Narrating how a prophetic word would have led him to marry someone else say, he continued, “I wouldn’t be married to my wife now if I followed the prophetic word because somebody saw another person for me. He said, ‘I saw it very clearly. As clear as I know myself that God said this is the person’. And the person he was advertising wasn’t a carnal christian oh, highly spiritual sister with visions and revelations but she wasn’t the right person. If I was to move, ‘okay, the person is truly spiritual’, I won’t be here, maybe. I’m sure I won’t be. Now, I believe the person and I love him but for that time, that prophetic word was an error”.
