I AM LIVING A VERY SERENE AND FULFILLED LIFE BECAUSE WHATEVER GOD SAYS TURNS ME ON, I HAVE MY AN OPINION

While ministering on Engaging The Help of the Holy Spirit Towards Fulfillment of Destiny at the Faith Tabernacle last Sunday, Bishop Oyedepo addressed several contemporary family life issues tracing them to the spirit of disobedience at work. He said “We need the Spirit of obedience because there is a spirit working on the earth today called the spirit of disobedience. It takes the Spirit of obedience to counter and subdue it. It is the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2). It is in the air. ‘Don’t bother about the Bible. You have your life to live. Don’t mind what they are talking about.’ Then you start sweating. It is looking for how to trap you and torment you. It is not natural. There is a force that works disobedience in God’s people. Church Gist. ‘I don’t care. No! No!’ Husbands, love your wives. “No, this one I can’t love.” Wife, submit yourself to your husband. “No! Not this kind. I know my status.” Go and marry your status. People just cause themselves heartache without knowing where their trouble is coming from. Husband and wife live together. They say “No! That’s the Old Testament.” You have several assistant wives and your wife has assistant husbands. Family in disarray. Simple thing. Obedience is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams (1 Samuel 15:17). What are you looking for? You are thanking God your family is in Brazil and you are in Togo. That’s not right.”
He spoke further against enrolling children in Primary School in boarding school saying it puts them at risk of becoming wild. “If you want to hear what you like, don’t come here. Go somewhere else. When the teacher says you are wrong, you are wrong. All these “God has not told me”. The teacher said you are wrong. It’s not God who will tell you, you are wrong. When God says you are wrong, just say I am sorry. Don’t be explaining. Some people don’t even have any value for the spiritual status of their children. Zero value. Children living like orphans. You put a child in primary school in a boarding school. He is imbibing all kinds of stupid things and he comes out wild. He rejects you as his father. Church Gist. He says his father is in school. He will not listen to you. When you hear correction from the Word of God, you restructure your life. Don’t argue. Restructure your life. Don’t hear corrections and say okay. You are not okay until you do the right thing. Go and do the right thing. Someone says any time Papa says that I am offended. Be offended. Does that tamper with me? Your unbelief cannot make my own faith of no faith. What you believe determines your lot. I am living a very serene and fulfilled life. You should know that. In case you don’t know, I am telling you now because anything God says turns me on, I don’t have my opinion.”
