THE PERSON WHO SENT YOU TO DO MINISTRY CAN PROVIDE AND IF HE DOESN’T PROVIDE, YOU’RE NOT AT FAULT.
– Bishop David Abioye
Preaching on Sunday, Bishop Abioye stated that to avoid pressure, one must avoid borrowing in ministry.
He said, “I’ve never borrowed money to do ministry in my life. In our Question and Answer Session in Maryland, somebody asked a question, he said, ‘What do you say about borrowing money for ministry?’ I said, did the Person who sent you tell you He can’t provide for you? and if He doesn’t provide, you’re not at fault.”

He further gave an illustration using a building construction site, stating that a foreman cannot borrow money to buy building materials or pay the site workers on behalf of the owner of the building. Church Gist. He said, “God is the Owner, I’m only an appointed mason to be doing His work.” He ended by saying these are the things that keep one free from pressure, just like him whose blood pressure is like that of a 16 year old.
