Somebody who is excited to see the first day of this brand-new month, the first day of the second half of the Year 2021, will you give Jesus a big, big hand of praise and a shout of praise. Hallelujah.
Happy, Happy New Month. It shall be a glorious month in the name of Jesus.
We take our brief charge from Psalm chapter 81 verses 3 to 5
Psalm 81:3-5
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed (Psalm 81:3).
What is the purpose for the blowing up of the trumpet?
Psalm 81:5
-This month will be a month of testimonies for you.
There is no commandment of God that is to the benefit of God. Every commandment of God is to the benefit of the obedient. He said, “blow up the trumpet, do it in the new moon, do it at the time appointed.”
We have come here in the new month; we have come here at the appointed time and we have come here for the appointed task. What is it? To blow the trumpet.
What is God’s response as we blow the trumpet? He said, “He ordained it for a testimony.”
-All through this month of July, you will be seeing testimonies on every side.
All that God demands of you and me is simple: blow up the trumpet. Church Gist. He didn’t say just blow it, but blow it up.
What does it mean to blow it up? Make sure the sound of your trumpet reaches out to God. You have not come here just to carry out a human activity. You have come here to carry out a task with divine connectivity. Let your heart be connected to Heaven, blow it with God in mind. Praise today with God in view. Understand that the trumpet is to sound unto God and as God takes notice of your trumpet sound today, your own testimony will locate you this month.
What a joy that we are blowing up this trumpet into the second part of the year, the second part of the Midst of the Year and we know that God is in the habit of always keeping His best for last.
-As we enter into the last part of the Midst of the Year, the best of the Midst of the Year shall answer to you in the name of Jesus.
Therefore, I will like you to get set as we begin to praise God this morning, connect your heart to heaven and then you shall begin to see the testimony delivery hand of God manifesting in your direction.
Therefore, I welcome you to your own month, your own month of testimonies.
-Welcome to your own month of testimonies in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer: For the blessings of this brand-new month, one more time, lift your hand and glorify God. Father, thank You for the blessing of this brand-new month. I celebrate You, I glorify You. You are worthy of all the praise, You are worthy of all the glory and You are worthy of all the honour. Thank You mighty God in Jesus precious name we have given thanks.
In this Trumpet Service this morning we shall be going before the Lord in a moment with our offering. It is offering time. As we do that I want us to be reminded of God’s Word in Numbers chapter 10 verse 10.
Numbers 10:10
Something unique that God demands of us as we come in the beginning of our months.
As we present our seed this morning unto the Lord and blow the trumpet of praise over it, it shall be a memorial for us all through this month.
Prayer: Father, we have come this morning, not only to praise You in our song and dance but also in our seed. Let it be acceptable in your sight in the name of the Lord Jesus. Thank You mighty God, in Jesus precious name.
