Pastor Kayode Ijisesan, popularly known as Kay Ijisesan is the lead visionary of KingsWord Ministries International with Churches and missions in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Originally a pharmacist, Kay Ijisesan later completed a Doctorate Degree in Christian Theology. In August 2013, he was further honoured with Doctor of Divinity in recognition of his contribution to the body of Christ by International Ministry Institute in Pensacola, Florida. He is married to Pastor Mayowa and they are blessed with two children, Tolu and Temi.
Although he is based in Chicago, United states, Pastor Kay travels extensively around the globe holding conferences, crusades and imparting local churches.
The first time I sat under Pastor Kay’s ministration, I was not only blessed by the Word but the prophetic and healing grace on his life and ministry. Pastor Kay Ijisesan has imparted the lives of many believers in different parts of the world through various media outlets; Radio, Television and YouTube. His weekly meetings and special conferences around the world are broadcasted live through these various media.
Kay Ijisesan runs a daily program called Pray with Dr. Kay. He has authored twenty eight books on several topics such as Faith, Grace, Holy Spirit, Excellence, Purpose, Redemption, Blessing. Some of his book titles are; Precepts of Excellence, No More Toil, No More Excuse, No Night There: Prophetic Insights for Perpetual Light here on Earth.
In January, Pastor Kay was one of the ministers in the WAFBEC 2020 Conference which had other ministers like Cindy Trim, Pastor Tudor Bismark, Keith A. Butler, Mensa Otabil, Poju Oyemade, Mathew Oshimolowo and many other powerful ministers of God.
Pastor Kay recently concluded a special edition of his virtual program themed ‘Supernatural’ with Pastor Jerry Eze, Roberts Liardon and Reverend Victor Adeyemi. The Supernatural holds every first Friday and Saturday of every month.
In the heat of the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of Post Covid-19, there have been discussions on survival strategies. Many have made speculations on what the new normal would be while trying to proffer reliable strategies. Pastor Kay organized a program called ‘Evolve: Positioning for Post COVID:19’ in May 2020 dedicated to conversations around life after the pandemic, featuring speakers like Deji Debola Kurunmi, Jimi Tewe, Damilola Oluwatoyinbo and Fela Durotoye.
