YOU CAN’T ACCESS THE NEXT PHASE OF YOUR LIFE WITH MURMURING.
EVERYTHING YOU ARE USING TO COMPLAIN, GOD GAVE YOU. STOP COMPLAINING!
HOW THE LAGOS CHURCH WAS CONCEIVED TWO DAYS AFTER MY BOX WAS STOLEN AT THE AIRPORT.
YOU CAN’T FLOW IN THE SPIRIT WITH COMPLAINTS.

We are partaking of this communion tonight among others to receive the culture of gratitude that will keep us scaling new altitudes. You can’t be thankful and run into emptiness. Thankfulness multiplies grace. Church Gist. Thankfulness brings about increases. Jesus gave thanks, the bread multiplied supernaturally; the fish multiplied supernaturally. He gave thanks, Lazarus came out of the grave. So much power!
Everything that connects us to His leadings can be found expressly in Christ. Luke 10:21. Church Gist. Thanksgiving all the time. By this communion tonight, the siege of murmuring and complaints will be destroyed in everybody’s life!
Kaduna was nowhere to go because our city wide crusade had 63 in attendance at peak. That’s not where to go. Church Gist. But when we concluded, we gathered for intense thanksgiving on Monday morning and in that meeting, God opened up Joel 2 “an army is rising, the kind they have never seen before.”
Sir, we have always known ministers, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers raising the dead. It’s in this Church that members raise themselves – that wife raised husband. Church Gist. Are you hearing? That came after a simile failed crusade. With thanksgiving in response, a new chapter opened.
- In the same way, you will never be stranded again!
He said, ‘and be ye thankful.’ If you have lost anything, He is the reason why you have not lost everything. ‘Be ye thankful.’ If you know what he has rescued you from and rescued me from, you will never complain all your life. Be thankful. The breath you are using to complain, who gave you? The mouth you are using, who gave you? Church Gist. The small thing you are using, who gave you? Be thankful. If He removes this thing here, you can’t tell what you are missing, you can’t tell where you are not missing. You are just in a vacuum. Everything you are using to complain, He gave you.
- You will not be tortured again!
- You will not be tormented again!
- The people complained and God’s anger was stirred. You won’t suffer the wrath of God anymore!
- The people murmured and they were destroyed. Church Gist. Nothing in your hand will be destroyed!
- Your life will not be destroyed!
So tonight, reach out because you can’t access the next phase of your life with murmuring. You can’t access the next chapter of your life with complaints. Sir, you can’t access the path of life with complaints. Church Gist. You cannot. We were told that clearly in the Word. You cannot access the path of life with complaints. You cannot!
We were in a meeting and they forgot that we needed to eat back then in 1987. They put us in a guest house that had no catering service and they forgot. They were full of you know arrangements. My companion who went with me came to my room a few times just to say, “how are things going Sir?” I said, I am fine. I was busy preparing for the message. He was busy waiting for the food. (Laughs) He will be here during the birthday week and I will tell him the story. So when I got there, I said, ‘well, we are so privileged to be here tonight and I have with me this my companion. Church Gist. He is a powerful musician. He will minister so powerfully tonight. Everybody will be blessed. His spirit was revived (laughs). It was after the meeting, we had a great time in God’s presence – ‘Oh, my God! We forgot, we didn’t bring the food.’ Relax! You can’t flow in the Spirit with complaints. They would not have planned that deliberately, they forgot. Anybody can forget anything.
- Complaint must die tonight!
- Murmuring must end tonight!
—PRAYERS—
We lost something years ago and I said, “I thank God that I even have something that somebody likes to steal. I thank God that I’m not the one who stole. They stole from me.” Are you hearing what I’m saying? We have left that level longest time. Not what has happened. Church Gist. Nothing has happened. He likes that thing and he took it (laughs). I can go to the police and say “somebody took my thing.” Nobody can go there and say, ‘I took somebody’s thing.” No! So he has problems, I don’t have. Praise God!
- You are going places!
- Today marks the end of complaints and murmuring in your life!
- You have lost too much to it, you won’t lose anymore!
I lost a box that was packed for 2 weeks from the airport in Kaduna to town and then I said, “you know why that happened? God knows I have more clothes to wear in the house.” My wife said, why don’t you put down the items? I said, no! The new owner should be one to keep the stock. It went off me and 2 days later, “arise, get down to Lagos, raise me a people.” People have lost so much to complaints without knowing. Let go! Church Gist. The past is irreparable, why break your head? Somebody called you a fool. He has already called you, he can’t uncall you. He said, you are mad. He has already said it and thank God you are not mad. So thank God, he said, I am mad but I thank you, I am not mad. Thank you for my sound mind. You let go because all these things you are holding unto in the past, they won’t let you go forward.
- Today marks the end of every form of complaint!
Now things are rough in town and they are rough across the nations of the Earth. They are not targeted at you because your case is different. Church Gist. But when you subscribe to complaints, you will become a partaker of their troubles. God has you in mind. He has your good in mind.
- You will never suffer hunger!
- You will never beg for bread!
- As you keep giving thanks to God, your bread will keep multiplying!
- Your fish will keep multiplying!
- And you will begin to see the hand of God in every area of your life!
Yes we pray for God to turn things around but don’t subscribe to complaints. It doesn’t help anyone.
