Father, we give you the praise tonight, blessed be your name Lord, in Jesus precious name.

Welcome to the preservation service for the month of October, which is the tenth month of the year as well as the preservation service focus at the last quarter for this year. John 10:10. I’m speaking very quickly on the subject; THE LIFE OF GOD. The Greek word for life which is Zoe means the God kind of life.

Our Objectives are in two folds, to understand the importance of the Life of God and secondly to understand our access to the life of God. ChurchGist. It is important to note that the major goal of Christianity is the infusion of the life of man with the life of God. Infusing the life of men with the life of God. Jesus Christ the son of God became the son of men, so that the sons of men can become the children of God. That Jesus Christ is the humanodivinity junction, the junction where humanity is licensed to access divinity and where divinity became humanity. God became man and man became God by carrying the nature of God.

Psalm 82:6. Exodus 7:1. It’s important to know that this is the major agenda of Christianity, you know that the arrival of sin in the garden of Eden was the arrival of disease and death. Genesis 2:17. The eating of that knowledge was the introduction of death, they ate it and death came, they didn’t die physically, they died spiritually. Romans 5:12. That original sin in the garden of Eden introduces the principle of death, diseases and disasters. Romans 6:16-17,23. 1st Corinthians 15:56. When Adam sinned; death stung in the garden of Eden. ChurchGist. Why is all of these important? It is important because this is what Jesus Christ came to do, Christianity seeks to take man out of that death into life. The agenda of Christianity, the agenda of the Cross of Calvary, the agenda of Jesus Christ is to take men out of the death that came in the garden of Eden.

I see somebody stepping into life today, you shall not die how your father died. Every principle of calamity and disaster ravaging people in your family, tonight you’re exempted from it.

John 10:10, Satan the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. Somebody shout; life in abundance, that is my portion, I have the life of God as a child of God, I don’t have the death of sin anymore, I have the life of God.

1st John 4:4. You are of God, you originated from God, you belong in God and you belong with God. You might have been born from your village but you’re not necessarily from your village, you’re of God, your real address is God. ChurchGist. When they asked about John the Baptist, the Bible calls him; the man sent from God, not sent by God. God was his address, if you’re looking for John, trace him into God. He could have said a man sent from his village.

Lift up your right hand and say; I’m of God, I belong to God, I belong with God, I belong in God. (I want this thing to enter your brain.)

Many years ago, I told my father in the Lord; Bishop David Oyedepo, I said that I want him to agree with me in prayer and pray with me and pray for me, because I noticed a certain pattern with people from my place, especially in the area of the ministry, some pattern of let’s say you are there and you are not relevant or maybe you just move out of the scene before your time. I noticed some pattern like that and he said to me, you’re not from that place, you may have been born from there but you’re not from that place. ChurchGist. All of a sudden it dawned on me that the port of your arrival is not your State of Origin, that you’re a traveller and you arrive at a particular airport does not mean you came from there. I was deployed from eternity dispatched to land at the port in Benue State and from there I was catapulted to my generation.

So, what happens to other people in the state where I’m from is not what will happen to me, it is what happens from where I have come from that is permitted to happen to me. ChurchGist. 1st John 4:5. It is established that death came by sin and calvary came to push death and introduce life. What is important to you and I know is what is in that life.

What is the content of the life of God? What is the value of the value of the life of God?

1. IT IS A SPIRITUAL LIFE.

John 4:24. When we come to God and we connect to the life of God, we have connected to the spirit life as against carnal life, natural life or ordinary life. You may be living in the natural but there is a spiritual dimension to your natural life. ChurchGist. You’re not the same with your biological brother who doesn’t know Jesus, he possesses only a natural life. You possess a Spiritual life in addition, spiritual life makes spirituality possible.

It’s the spiritual life that makes it possible for you to be able to pray, fast, worship and to study the Word of God. The unbeliever without the spiritual life is confused during the praise worship, he is wondering, why people are jumping and shouting, he does not know what it means to pray, he can’t pray, he does not know what it means to fast and to worship and so because he is bankrupt of a dimension of life that is called spiritual.

This Spiritual life gives you access to spiritual capabilities, capacity to hear and see in the Spirit, capacity to understand and know in the Spirit and to discern in the Spirit. The life of God that we have contains spiritual life.

2. QUALITY LIFE.

A quality life! A life of dignity and a life of meaning. John 10:10. This means Jesus has come to give us a life that is above average, you’re not permitted to live an average life, the common life of an ordinary person. Tonight, I want you to rebel against the ordinary, rebel against the casual, rebel against a struggling life. ChurchGist. A quality life, a meaningful life, a valuable life, an enviable life. A lot of the children of God have settled for less of what they are meant to be, your life is the same as that of your unbeliever colleague, something is wrong. I don’t have any unbeliever friend, right from my primary school days till today, that I would say I envied this one and how I wish I could be like this. I love everyone but God has made us to be a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, a peculiar people, the joy of our generation.

Any one seated here today with any life that is ordinary and average, any life that is lacking in meaning, by the life of Jesus in which I preach tonight, it is over.

All the saints of old; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon and David, they all lived a quality, enviable and admirable life. This shall be your portion.

3. A ROYAL LIFE.

Quality life is talking about a meaningful life and a valuable life but this royal life is talking about a life of dominion and authority. 1st John 5:4. The life of an overcomer not the life of an undergoer. ChurchGist. I don’t care how powerful the herbalist in your village is, it is an abomination for a Dog to pursue a Lion. I don’t care about how powerful the ancestral curse of your father’s house is, I don’t care how powerful the generational curse of your community is, it’s an abomination for a Bat to chase an Eagle.

No devil should be able to tell you that as long as he lives you will not succeed and you agree. Ecclesiastes 10:5-7. Somebody say it is an error, say with me; it shall be corrected.

Let me say this, that a herbalist has been practicing native doctor for 30 years and if you gave your life to Christ today, you’re higher than him. 1st John 5:4. When somebody sees a dream about you, as people do see about us and others once in a while, a devil was trying to attack you, tell him to show you the last time a Rat destroyed an Elephant or when a Chicken went into the air and dropped an Eagle, I want your mentality to change tonight. ChurchGist. You’re carrying the life of God, that you know it or not is a different matter.

Charles Spurgeon went to the house of a woman who was suffering from poverty. He wanted to rescue the woman from poverty and he saw a document on the wall that was neatly framed, this woman was struggling to feed, she was a welfare project of the Church. Spurgeon asked her; what is that on your wall? She said it is a paper that my mistress, the woman that I served, a wealthy woman, she loved me so much, she gave me this paper and I decided to frame it on the wall just to always remember her because she was so good to me. That document was a will, the woman had willed millions of pounds, including properties and other things and she was not aware. Psalm 82:5-7. You’ll just end like a chicken because you don’t know who you’re. ChurchGist. You’ll survive and exist as a pauper because you don’t know who you’re. My people are not destroyed because the devil is too powerful, my people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6. I need something to revolutionize in somebody’s mind today.

In 1986, the stock market crashed, one man lost a billion dollar in the crash, the next day they saw him playing tennis and people said you lost one billion dollars yesterday and you’re playing today, he said I have not forgotten how I made it, I’m fully aware of how I made it, I can make another one. God is calling you to an authoritative and a dominating life, where the devil says one thing and you respond with two things. ChurchGist. You’re the child of the most high, the child of a chicken is a chicken, the child of a goat, the child of a dog is a dog, how about the child of God, please answer it. I know it is big for your mouth to say, but that is what the Bible says.

4. A PURPOSEFUL LIFE.

The life of God carries direction. 1st John 3:8. There is a purpose for every child of God. A target specific life! Not a purposeless and directionless life, not a life of trial and error, not a life of random motion, not a life left to chance, this is not your life. ChurchGist. Don’t let any devil deceive you that God made a mistake by creating you, that He does not have a purpose for your life. Jeremiah 1:5, 29:11. Before you came into this world, I knew your end.

Hallelujah!

Lift up your right hand and say; in the name of Jesus, my life has meaning, my life has purpose and direction, I’m not aimless on earth, I’m an arrow, fired from eternity, by divinity, passing through time and returning to eternity and by the grace of God, I shall not miss target.

5. A PROSPEROUS LIFE

Revelation 5:12. The life that he brought carries riches inside. Psalm 1:1-3. All I’m saying is that, it is not compulsory that you’re a millionaire or a billionaire, but I’m saying you’re not permitted to be a beggar or a struggler. Psalm 35:26-27; 36:25-26. Not just himself, his children are not permitted to beg for bread. ChurchGist. You are meant to be giving, not begging and borrowing. Deuteronomy 15:6; 28:12. Your destiny is to give and lend and not to beg and borrow. Today marks the end of begging, marks the end of borrowing.

When you borrow, people who under normal circumstances should not talk to you, they are licensed to talk to you. A bank can sell a property of 300 million to recover their 100 million. This will never be your portion.

6. A HEALTHY AND STRONG LIFE.

1st Peter 2:24. Healing is past, present and future. Matthew 8:16-17. I speak tonight to every disease, every affliction in the body of everyone, by the life of Jesus Christ, by the life of God with which I preach, I declare today, you’re swallowed up, you’re destroyed. ChurchGist. Don’t forget that you’re in a preservation service, all the things flowing now are the complement of what is to come.

7. A DURABLE LIFE.

A durable life, not a life that is here today and cut off tomorrow by a witch. A durable life. A life in abundance is a life that can’t be choked by witchcraft, a life that cannot be suffocated by an occultic person. John 10:10. No witch nor wizard, no occultic man nor woman, no hired killer nor ritualist is licensed to use your body for sacrifice. ChurchGist. They can’t drink your blood, they can’t use your body for spare parst, their bullets can’t bring you down. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, if it will prosper it cannot be formed, if it has been formed it cannot prosper.

All the people looking for your end, you will see their end. John 19:10,18. It shall never be said that a mortal man with breath in his nose killed you, whether by witchcraft or by wickedness, it will never be said that somebody who has his own life took your own life. If they want somebody to die, let them die first.

WHAT ARE THE ROOTS OF OUR DIVINE LIFE

1. THROUGH LIFE.

We connect into divine life through creation. Genesis 1:26,28. By creation we have the root of divine life, if it was God who created you, there is something about God inside you, even if it is dormant, because you’re saved. ChurchGist. That is why the loss of one soul is an irreplaceable eternal loss to God; God feels it because God breathed His Spirit into man, there is something from God inside man and if the man is lost, that thing is lost.

2. THROUGH SALVATION.

When we give our life to Jesus. John 3:16. 1st John 4:4. Romans 6:23. Everyone under the sound of my voice, if you’re not saved, I have not been talking to you. That life I’m talking about is not in you.

3. THE HOLY SPIRIT.

John 3:6,8. Romans 8:11. It is a life irrigation process. We are not just praying in tongues, we are praying in strength, we are praying in life, we are praying in fire. ChurchGist. Did you see how somebody said they were playing the tongues of fire and the dead came back to life because of the life that was coming out of those tongues, that life chocked that spirit of death and brought somebody back to life. The Spirit of God shall vitalize and quicken your mortal body. Quicken means make alive. So, make a habit to pray abundantly, effectively, extensively and intensively in tongues as much as possible.

John 7:37-39. You know there is a dead sea in Israel, there is nothing alive inside that sea, the Bible is talking about the river of living water here. The Holy Spirit is a river and it’s a river whose water equals life. ChurchGist. River Benue flows with water, River Holy Ghost flows with life. Where that river flows nothing is permitted to die, nothing is permitted to be dry, stagnant and stinking, it is a river of revival, resurrection and irrigation and it is flowing right now with life.

4. THROUGH THE WORD.

John 6:63. Every contact with the Word is the contact with the Life of God. Philippians 3:16. 1st John 1:1. Philippians 2:16.

5. THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE COMMUNION

John 6:54-57. Take the communion not as a ceremony but as a life-giving infusion. The woman who has been afflicted for 22 years, all she did last Wednesday was to take the communion and that death checked out and the life came again, through the communion. ChurchGist. Don’t take the communion as a ceremony. In your house serve yourself, serve your children, once a day and as frequently as you can. Serve it with revelation because it’s what you do with revelation that generates your manifestation, it’s not what you do ceremoniously, it’s what you do revelationally that gives you the result you desire.

6. THROUGH FELLOWSHIP AND COMMUNION WITH THE FATHER

We connect to the life of God as we hang around Him, as we stay and evolve around Him. Psalm 17:15. If I hang around You and I behold Your face in a short time, I shall rise in Your likeness. Psalm 16:8-11. When you hang around God in the place of fellowship and communion. Many of us we commune more with men than with God, we hang around more with men than with God.

A young man was asking me a question today and he said what do I do to keep friends away because they take my time a lot, I said is it not through the phone you people communicate, I said you have the right to turn off the phone, if you want you can turn your phone on twice a day, when you’re ready for it. He said between 6am and 9am I don’t want anything to clutter my mind, I want to just focus on God, don’t let the phone run your life, you have to run the phone. ChurchGist. You step out and people feel God. Moses spent such a time with God until his face was saturated with glory.

7. THROUGH FAITH IN GOD

Habakkuk 2:4. Faith is the combination of revelation and conviction, confidence in God, an agreement with His Word, that what He says is true and that the devil is not stronger than God and that the will of the enemy will not prevail over the will of God and then you come to the point where fear is dead. ChurchGist. The easiest way to know that your faith is alive is that your fear is dead or that your fear is not active. Every time fear is alive don’t claim that faith is awake.

How do I know I have faith? When fear is gone and even if fear appears to still be around, you refuse to be paralyzed by fear, you move as if fear does not exist. You’re on motion despite the fear.
