FAVOUR IS NOT FREE, FAVOUR IS ENTREATED. YOU TRIGGER IT, YOU PROVOKE IT, BY OUR OBEDIENCE.
FRUIT-BEARING IS EVERY BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY. IT IS NOT JUST FOR ACCESSING GOD’S BLESSING, BUT FOR OUR SPIRITUAL SECURITY.
THE CHEAPEST WAY TO BACKSLIDE AND GET OFF THE FAITH IS TO BE A NON-FRUIT BEARING BELIEVER.
ENGAGING WITH CHRIST IS WISDOM, ENGAGING WITH HIS WORD IS WISDOM.

Lift up your two hands and give Him thanks for answered prayers today and for those amazing turnaround testimonies, He is ever on duty. Yesterday, today and forever. You’re the next in line to testify. In the name of Jesus Christ. Church Gist. And all the people gathered together in the morning to hear Him
Prayer: Jesus I want to hear from you this morning. Open my ears this morning I want to hear from you. In Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Lord Jesus speak to us as individuals and let your name be glorified. In Jesus name.
EVERYONE IS ABSOLUTELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTCOME OF HIS LIFE: That has been our exhortation line for the week in our covenant hour of prayer services.
Everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life. Church Gist. No one is a failure, someone has said, until he begins to look for who to blame for it. Everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life.
We live in a kingdom that operates on keys, you don’t have the key to a door you have a problem accessing the entrance. Church Gist. Entrance becomes an uphill task without a key. You can’t drive a car without a key, when your key is lost your car is grounded. Church Gist. So the knowledge of the truth, is defined as a key in the Kingdom. Luke 11:52. The key of knowledge. Don’t mind them those are the lawyers they are talking about, what are they talking about? nonsense. Church Gist. Whether it is nonsense or full sense you will know later. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. It is the key out of your situation. It is the key out of our challenges. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. And they did those seemly stupid things and their shame was turned to double honour. In the same way, when we commit to doing what God says, for our shame we will have double. Can I hear your Amen.
Why are you serving the best wine at the end? John 2.8-9. supernatural turnaround. It follows doing whatever He tells us to do.
We are called to bring forth fruits as individuals. John 15:1-2. It’s an every branch issue not the branches. Every branch that beareth not fruits He takes away and every branch that bears fruits He prunes or purges so He can keep bringing forth fruits. John 15:2. Church Gist. So fruit-bearing is every believer’s responsibility. It is not just for accessing God’s blessing, but for our spiritual security. Church Gist. You are not fruit bearing, He takes you away. You are fruits bearing He keeps you ever fit to keep bearing more fruits. The cheapest way to backslide and get off the faith is to be a non fruit bearing Believer. In Luke 13:6-9. So to be non fruit bearing does not secure the future of a Believer. Church Gist. So fruit-bearing is a personal responsibility we must take to secure our walk with God. And let me come down to this, it is an open-ended platform. Paul planted Apollos watered and God gave the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6. So they are planters and they are waterers. We plant by witnessing, we water by prayers. And Everyone shall receive His own reward according to His own labour. 1 Corinthians 3:8. You’re not praying, you’re not going, so what are you doing? And that means anybody, to any age.
We saw the old Patriarchs at their extreme age, they called their children and began to proclaim blessings on them. That provides long opportunity to get involved in serving the interests of his Kingdom, praying for souls to be saved, praying for them to be established in the faith, praying for members of the church who are challenged and God who sees your prayer labour in secret, He shall reward thee openly. Reward means you are rendering a service, it is not request. You are serving His interest not your interest, we have a place to make demands for what we need but that’s not serving God, that is asking God to service your need. Praise God.
So nobody has an excuse. In John 4:35-36. So we go witnessing, that the fruits may abide, we pray. Luke 8:5. He that reapeth receiveth wages. John 4:36.
There is room for everybody to be fruits bearing. And then of cause you don’t have to preach to bring people to Christ. Church Gist. You can simply invite them Luke 14:23. Come to church this Sunday it is our covenant day of favour, God will terminate all heirs of misfortune around your life. You don’t know any testimony, the one behind the flyer, give it to him, say it to him, you read it. You are compelling them to come, you don’t need maturity for that. Children invite other children for their birthdays. You don’t need any maturity for that. The woman, The Samaritan woman, the same day she met Jesus, went to town, come and see a Man, I don’t know what to say but come and see a man and they came. John 4:29,39. And they came, some believed in what she said, many more believed when they heard from Christ. You may not be a witness as it were, but you can be a bringer. Compelling men to come to Christ who will save their souls. Everybody has a place, choose ye this day whom you shall serve, so it is a choice that remains. Everybody has a place. But no one goes forward sitting down you take a step. Waiting is wasteful. Stop waiting to be a lawyer, go through the process. Stop waiting to be a king, know what it takes to be a king and give in to it. Many believers are waiting “I know someday God will do something” no, I can tell you no, capital no. Until you obey what He says He won’t do nothing. Imagine if they didn’t fill the water pot with water will there be wine? John 2:7. So what are you waiting for? If they will obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and in pleasures. Job 36:11. If they, the choice is theirs.
Now, thou shall serve the Lord thy God, and He shall bless your bread and your water. Exodus 23:25. You shall serve not we shall serve and He will bless your bread. You will never beg for bread and water serving Him.
Just the moment before the shame was being evicted from the house, God showed up. Church Gist. Getting a turnaround by obeying God.
- It is your turn for a change of story.
So the key to a turnaround door is serve Him. Exodus 23:25. Serve the Lord your God, He will shower you with favour. For the hour has come. Psalm 102:13-15. Fearful favour attends to those who take genuine pleasure in the matters of the Kingdom. Inexplainable but undeniable. So take responsibility and take it now. Whoever first step into the revelation that is made unveiled. Step into it, step into it, time is not there. Church Gist. Seek the Lord when He is to be found and call upon Him when He is near. Isaiah 55:6.
Every child of God has a ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20. That is our ministry. Every believer has a ministry of reconciliation. In Proverbs 13:17. We see the blessings of our ambassadorial responsibilities. You bear fruits I will keep you fit so that you can continue to bear fruits.
- It is your turn at last.
The platform is open, the choice is ours. No one can go to work on behalf of another. He called the laborers at the end of the day to give each one their due. Your pay, working in any establishment goes into your account directly, not the account of your wife, your account. No hiding place. You can only enhance your worth, by your works. Jesus the most anointed said I must work. My father worketh, I must work. Many Believers are just waiting, that is not the example of Christ, that is not the example of Paul. I must work John 9:4.
Favour is not free, favour is entreated. You trigger it, you provoke it by our obedience.
Prayer: I take responsibility today Jesus, engrace me. I choose to take responsibility today and stop waiting, Instead of working, I stop waiting today and I start working. Jesus help me. I have waited and waited changes are not here. I choose today to take responsibility in serving your interest on the prayer Altar, in compelling people to come to church, in witnessing Christ to the Lost, I take responsibility in encouraging new Believers to be established in the faith, I take responsibility.
Everyone shall be rewarded according to His labour, it is everyone’s business, it is everyone’s issue. God does not reward groups, He rewards individuals. Church Gist. He does not honour groups, He honours individuals. He does not promote groups, He promotes individuals. I take responsibility today and I receive grace to sustain this my choice till the end of time. Thank you Jesus, in Jesus precious name.
We are on a great season.
- May this season delivers maximally in everyone’s life.
You are not serving a church by witnessing people to know Christ, you are not serving a church by bringing people to be saved, you are not serving a Pastor, my friend. You are creating a future.
- You will not miss it.
And Jacob awake from sleep and said “Oh My God, how awesome is this place”. Church Gist. This is none other but the house of God, The gate of heaven.
Come out of your spiritual sleep, come awake, it is your turn for a change of story. Come awake, His grace is ever available and you will have it as you demand for it.
- The day is declared your day.
- Everything in your life will keep showing that God’s wisdom is answering in your life.
- May your choice today last you a lifetime
- May every step taken produce a good result.
Engaging with Christ is wisdom, engaging with His word is wisdom.
Yesterday I ran into this 100-year-old lady, she asked the front desk officer and said “don’t I come to collect flyers here” 100 years old, smiling. I saw her knelt down and stood up without looking for anyone to hold. Church Gist. I will keep them fit to keep bearing more fruits.
