Thank Him for the grace granted you since the year began to flow in the grace; the unspeakable grace of God that opens doors to people. Give Him thanks for His good hand upon your life. Celebrate and magnify Him, in Jesus precious name we have given thanks.
One of the blessings of fasting is outbreak of light and let me tell you what makes light so important; it guarantees all that life will ever need – all. Access to the truth of scripture guarantees all that you and I will ever need. Church Gist. He’s giving us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us into glory and virtue – all things. All things that make for this life and godliness guarantees eternity. All things in one book; there are too many books, they weary the soul. But this one book, “…this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, you shall observe to do your discoveries that you find there, then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success. That’s what people are looking for, it’s in one book but they are running around the world to look for it.
If you are in a jungle, it works. If you are in the City, it works. You are literate, it works. You have chased some degrees or one, it works. You have no degree, it works. It works everywhere – this one book. Church Gist. Some people just left the Book and started looking for other things and they look for them, they can’t find anything. But this one book, I told you before; if I’m to sell pure water, I will be a great success. I’ve found the root to it from this book.
He said to me one day, “my son, there’s a place for you on top if you are interested”. I said I’m interested Lord. He said, “whatever I tell you to do, do it and it’s in the book”.
- Lord open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of thy Word again tonight.
- Help me Jesus to behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Welcome again to 2021, your year of Supernatural Turnaround. God’s word is never late, it delivers at any time you found it. When thou hath found it, then there shall be a reward and thy expectation shall not be cut off. So it’s in finding it that we find His word fulfilled in our lives.
Your supernatural turnaround is still guaranteed this year and you will not miss it. He said one thing thou lackest, the one thing remaining; the one button remaining for you to press for your turnaround to come alive, you will find it this time.
…one thing thou lackest and he found that one thing but, “no! I’m not interested. That’s too harsh for me”. Then he missed it.
- You won’t miss it in Jesus’ name.
UNDERSTANDING THE OBEDIENCE THAT WORKS is our teaching series for our Mid-week Services which includes off course the Spirit Week of Emphasis.
We understand from scripture that obedience is gateway to all supernatural manifestations. He that has my commandment and keeps it is the one that loves me… and I will manifest myself to him (John 14:21). Obedience is what provokes all supernatural manifestations in a believer’s life. Church Gist. Jesus said in John 8:29, He that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone because I do always the things that please Him. So He’s there always manifesting Himself to me.
We saw series of supernatural manifestations in scripture and they were all raw product of obedience. “Pharaoh’s army is behind, the Red sea in front: oh God, what do we do?” He said, tell them to go forward and as they went forward, the Red sea gave way and God threw an highway across the sea in one second – supernatural manifestation. Church Gist. The sea saw them and it fled (Psalm 114:4). God showed up and the sea gave up. As God showed up, the sea gave up; the sea parted the way for God’s people – obedience.
Obedience may appear costly but the end result is priceless. Obedience is key to all supernatural manifestations in a man’s life. So develop yourself to be delighted in obeying God’s word. That’s the only platform through which He manifest Himself to His people.
John 2:5
Mary said whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. And as they did that, unconnected things; water and wine. There’s nothing to ferment, so how do you expect wine from water? Not through some grains into it. No, water only! And the wine was sweater than the one they brought in town – obedience. He just showed up and then all the pots were filled with brand-new wine; sweater, of greater quality than the one they brought with their money through simple obedience. Church Gist.
…cast your net on the right side. What’s the difference between the right side of a boat and the left side on the same sea? And when they did that, they got great multitude of fishes, their frustration ended (John 21:5-6).
Their frustration ended by simple raw obedience.
I made a statement years ago; this is what makes the Word works: “swallow it all”. He says it, just engage with it without looking back and you have committed His manifestation. That’s the way it works. My prayer is that, no one will treat God’s Word with levity anymore.
What is in obedience?
We discovered from scripture that obedience speaks louder than any level of sacrifice a man may ever offer. Now, you want favour from God, engage in favouring the interest of His Kingdom as a lifestyle and then you have provoked this favour. Going to church for 50 years may not bring the favour that obedience to that commandant will do.
…seek ye first the expansion, the enlargement of the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you by divine favour”.
Psalm 102:13-15
140 days fasting in a year will not do that, that’s why He said to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams. Church Gist. Prayer and fasting for a whole year will not bring you prosperity; prosperity answers to the given commandment. Give, not pray or fast and it shall be given to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom. So stop using eye drop for ear drum, it can deafen your ears. Whatever He tells you to do concerning any subject matter, do it.
You should know that prayer and fasting is not equal to success. No one will ever succeed without being diligent in his business. You can imagine your child goes to school and all he does is prayer and fasting instead of going to classes and sitting down to study his books. He will fail flat for been stupidly spiritual. The Lord spoke to me October 4, 1981 “seest thou a man who is diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Face your business, do it as the only thing you have to do and watch what I will do with your life”. I’ve not prayed for connections once in my life, connection to what? I’m connected already, connected to the Truth. You can’t be connected to the Truth and not triumph. Whatever the Truth commands to do concerning anything, do it
All these hiring pastors and evangelists to pray for you are all acts of ignorance.
Can I tell you this? No peace in any home where the husband will not love the wife as Christ loves the Church. You can pray more than prayer mountains; it won’t make any difference. No spouse will enjoy peace in the husband’s house without embracing the demand of submission. It doesn’t matter how enlightened you are, you’ll be having crisis upon crisis and if you don’t check it, it ends the marriage.
When I found the rules in 1981 and I committed myself to the rules, I knew we were headed for a hitch free marriage. Obedience is key to every provision in the Kingdom. Stop looking for short cuts, there are no short cuts in the Kingdom. Make straight paths for your feet, not short cuts.
- No one here will miss it.
Obedience speaks louder than voice (1 Samuel 15:22-23). No excuse is tenable in the Kingdom for disobedience. “I can’t be in fellowship, I’m so busy”. Good luck! Then you are entitled to weakness; spiritual weakness. For they only go from strength to strength, every one of them that appeareth before the Lord in Zion. Church Gist. So if you want to go from strength to strength, you better create the room and make it a business to be in fellowship. Most of the ones that wandered away, they only go to church once a week when they are chanced. You can imagine somebody going for a treatment in the hospital, he saw traffic and turned back. That’s death warrant. God is not gaining anything by your going to church Sir. No! There is no commandment of Christ to God’s benefit, they are all to your benefit. You go to church; He is the I AM that I AM. You don’t go to church; He is the I AM that I AM. There is no commandment of scripture that is not designed and packaged for your benefit and my benefit. Your obedience is to your advantage, your disobedience is to your disadvantage, there is no two ways about it.
Obedience is absolutely to your advantage and my advantage. Obedience may be costly; the end result is priceless. Psalm 112:1-3 “Blessed is the man”. Church Gist. Not are the men, these are all individual’s stuff.
(Psalm 112:9-10, Genesis 12:3). “If thou shalt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and observe to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1-13). In your obedience lies the grace to be on top of the world in your field of endeavour.
- May each one here receives grace today to connect in the name of Jesus Christ.
So confessing the Word has no meaning without obedience. No one is entitled to the next instruction until he has obeyed the first. He told you what to do, you ignored it. Don’t expect the next instruction from Him and it is in His instruction and your obedience to the instruction lies your change of position. We saw it in the life of Peter (Luke 5:5-6, 11).
