ONE EASY WAY TO LOSE RESPECT IS POVERTY

Bishop David Abioye while preaching on “ANOINTING FOR DOMINION” at the April Anointing Service 2025 stated how poverty can cause one to lose respect. He emphasized that God has designed us to lend to others and not to borrow.
He said, “One easy way to lose respect is poverty. If you are poor you cannot have regard. ‘and God said, you will lend unto many nations, but thou shall not borrow’ You can’t be poor and be a ruler, whether in your family cycle or in your community. In the Society where you live, borrowers are not allowed to speak, it angers the lender, ‘You are owing me and you are speaking. Sit down first.’ What will the borrower say? ‘I’m very sorry’ I decree your liberty from financial bondage!”
