‘OPEN DOORS BY WORSHIP’ – Isaiah 6:1-5. The objective very quickly tonight is to understand the power of worship to open doors.
- Understanding the power of worship to open doors.
- Understanding that worship that opens doors.
Where we just read, the Bible said that the posts of the doors moved as the angels and the cherubims worshipped saying ‘holy, holy, holy is the Lord.’ Worship does not just open doors by the power of a key even though we know of the key of David. Church Gist. Worship opens doors by affecting what holds the doors. ‘The post of the door moved.’ It doesn’t just open the door, it moves the door post.
When the post of the door moves, not even a key can close the door. And so tonight, as we revel in this atmosphere of worship…because if you use a key to open a door, it is possible for somebody to come and change the key and keep you out. Church Gist. So if we are just dealing with a key, it is changeable and the door is still lockable. But we are dealing with something that moves the whole door post – the power of worship.
WHAT ARE THE DOORS WE EXPECT TO OPEN BY WORSHIP?
- Door of destiny. ‘When Israel came out of Egypt from the people of a strange language, Judah (praise) was His sanctuary. Israel was His dominion; the sea saw it and parted’ – it opened. The door of destiny. Church Gist. Psalm 114:1-7. The door of destiny. That is, that door that takes you to where God wants you to be in life – that door of destiny.
- Door out of captivity. ‘Paul and Silas prayed and sang in the prison and the prison doors opened.’ That was a door that held them in captivity. Church Gist. The door of captivity opened and they stepped out. So the door of destiny opens for you to step in and the door out of captivity opens for you to step out. Acts 16:25-26.
- The door of abundance. Psalm 67:5-7. It’s the door of abundance. Church Gist. The door of abundance opens by the power of our praise and worship.
- The door of utterance. The door of utterance also, is the door of ministry. Ephesians 5:18-19. There is a dimension of praise you get into. Church Gist. Colossians 4:3. There is a door that is a door of utterance and this is openable by your worship.
WHAT KIND OF WORSHIP WILL OPEN OUR DOORS?
- Worship with humility. The Bible said, “the cherubims that flew covered their face with two wings” – that was humility. Church Gist. Isaiah 6:2
- Worship in sincerity. “They covered their feet in sincerity.” Church Gist. Isaiah 6:2
- Worship in reality/spirituality. Spirituality or reality – that is, you are real. Church Gist. You are not fake, you are not plastic, you are real. You are sincere.
You have humility. Sincerity also means integrity. Psalm 29:2. Church Gist. So tonight, somebody who is stepping into the frequency of worship and who is about to step into your destiny open door by the key of worship tonight, shout the loudest Amen!
- I prophesy to somebody. Every door that held you whether it’s the captivity of barrenness or the captivity of singleness or the captivity of whatever it is, today, the door is opening and you are coming out! Church Gist.
- I see multi billionaires and millionaires coming out of the worship of tonight, (if) you are among them, shout the loudest Amen!
- The door of utterance, the door of ministry, the door of impact is opening for you as you proceed in sincerity and as you proceed in humility and in spirituality!
PRAYERS: Father, I come before you tonight. Church Gist. Help me Lord to worship you in humility, in sincerity and in integrity, in spirituality. I receive that grace in Jesus name.
