- This month shall be the greatest till date in your life.
- Things will be turning around in your favour.
- Your days of struggles shall be over.
- Your days of uncertainties shall be over.
The prophetic focus for the month is I AM REDEEMED A WONDER TO MY WORLD. That means you are to be wondered at. That implies your ways are past finding out. That is what redemption is all about. John 3:8. Every child of God is redeemed a wonder to his world. That is why we are called a peculiar people, we are not part of the general run. We belong to a class by redemption. It is important to see that. Isaiah 8:18. There were no children of God in the Old Testament. Jesus came to raise sons unto glory. So new birth is the beginning of God’s family on the earth. Church Gist. When you are saved, you become a member of that family and you have escaped the limitations of the human realm so you begin to flow in the realm of the supernatural for signs and for wonders. Jesus said “As my Father has sent me, so send I you”. Isaiah 7:14. We are redeemed as signs, unexplainable but undeniable lifestyle. You can’t pick it scientifically. They couldn’t name that disease, it has no name but a prophetic word came and threw it off, it was healed the same day. We are redeemed as signs to our world. The world should exclaim “What manner of man is this? What manner of woman is this” That shall be the new exclamation concerning you.
Our teaching series for the month for our Sunday Services is captioned OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL. That is our realm by new birth but how do we operate in that realm? Church Gist. How do we operate effectively in that realm? How does that realm become our new lifestyle? I like you to listen very well because some things will come out this morning that will rewrite your story forever.
The supernatural is like taking a flight into spiritual space. It is operating above the natural limitations. We all know that every man has the potential to fly an aircraft but he can never fly until he is trained. People have not come to believe in the need for spiritual training, that is why most are trapped. We will train about anything, you know softwares in accounting, management softwares, leadership etc. People have not seen the need to train in spiritual things. Spiritual training is profitable unto all things. 1 Timothy 4:8. Just like physical exercise is profitable for every sportsman. Spiritual exercise is of inestimable value in having the best of time here and securing eternity with Christ in heaven. Church Gist. People want to fly but they don’t want to train. How do you get up in the sky? You can’t take off into the sky without your commitment to train on how to fly. That is why believers trying to fight their way into space without being committed to required spiritual training will amount to mere wishes and if wishes were horses, only beggars will ride.
Just like one cannot fly an aircraft by chance or by luck, so also, no one can operate effectively in the supernatural without subscribing to the demands of spiritual training to do so. Wake up! If wishes were horses, all the beggars would ride. You may put on a pilot’s dress, even a captain’s dress, that does not put you in the cockpit. That’s a drama. You can dress like a general, that does not make you a general. It is important for us to see the need for training. That was read to us but I need to emphasize that. In the same vein, God has a training agenda for supernatural living for His people. Psalm 18:33-36. Supernatural! Steel broken through the training that He offers. Church Gist. He trains His people to operate in the supernatural. We also saw how Abraham trained his servants. Genesis 14:14. We need to subscribe to the demand for training. It is the only way to gain command and in increasing dimensions. This implies that training is part and parcel of the Abrahamic covenant to which we belong by redemption. We need to train to operate in the supernatural.
The more of the realities of the supernatural we discover, the greater command we gain of the same. We need an adventure of discoveries. Proverbs 1:5, 9:9. Not all aircrafts are the same and we need to train to fly anyone. You can’t use a commercial pilot license to try to fly a spacecraft. No! That requires another level of training. Another level of very hard, harsh and intensive level of training. I studied how the first spacecraft from Russia took off, the training was horrendous. It is time to enlist in this training school. God’s Word is the principal resource through which we gain spiritual capacity to gain command of the supernatural. Church Gist. It is by the Word we develop the required skill to engage with the whole armour of God at our disposal. It is not enough to have a weapon, you must train on how to use the weapon. You can hold a weapon and your enemy will take the weapon and use it to kill you. We are soldiers of Christ, we have the whole armour with us. But we must train on how to engage these weapons to win the war.
What am I saying this morning? We need training. Everybody needs training, we need to be current to stay on top. Hebrews 5:13-14. There is skill required. It is important for us to train up. I began my training in the supernatural in 1974 when I encountered a book titled Like A Mighty Wind by Mel Tari. I saw the Acts Of The Apostles replayed. I saw amazing miracles that happened in Indonesia during that great revival. My heart resonated with it because I had seen God’s miracle hand from setting me free from tuberculosis, so I had seen now on a large scale how God visits His people with the supernatural. Church Gist. So from then I began to hunt for every material on the miraculous and the supernatural I could get. So when the charismatic movement came down with materials into the country, I just got hooked on. I began to search them out one by one, training up my spirit man.
I did a series of teachings in 1983, ‘Ye are gods’. I was stoned like Jesus was stoned. Every offspring bears the same nature with its source. A dog barks naturally, that’s its language. A sheep bleats naturally, that’s it language. The nature of every offspring is found in its source. So we are partakers of divine nature by redemption. That turned me on. The things I am privileged to do, I do them with the perception that I am not limited. Please train up. Training is 99 per cent on an individual basis. Church Gist. The coach will instruct on what to do, he leaves you to go and do it if you choose to. No coach punches the sand bag like you will do as a boxer. He just says “when you are doing it, come at this angle. Okay do it now.” Then he leaves you to do it. If you sit on this one hour lecture per week, you will bang the exam. It is time to train up. I have never seen anybody walking in the supernatural that is not an addicted self trainer.
We were in T.L. Osborn’s place, he turned his swimming pool into his library. His bedroom looks straight into the library. He wrote his last book a few months before he went to heaven. Nobody sustains a supernatural lifestyle without training up and being current. There are many people in this Church today who have never read one book on the supernatural in their lives. So they keep begging for miracles. We command the miraculous, we don’t beg for it. You can’t gain command without training. The days of begging should be over in our lives. That is what this month is devoted to, to help each one see the need to train up and gain skill and be efficient in engaging the instruments of war to win the battles. We need to find the rod with which we can command the supernatural. Church Gist. As we saw in the life of Moses. Exodus 4:17. That rod is the Word of God in a figure. Isaiah 11:1-2. Jesus is the carrier of the seven Spirits of God. Jesus is the living Word! Thou shall take the Word in thy hand wherewith thou shall do signs. We need the rod to command signs. Without the rod, you can’t command. We need the rod of the Word of God to command signs. The Word became flesh and His name is Jesus. We need the rod.
It is important for us to know that the supernatural is at the very root of redemption. Without the supernatural, Christianity is a mere religion. Jesus said “If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.” (John 10:37). If God is our Father, we must be doing His work and He is always doing wonders. Exodus 15:11. Doing wonders is one of the validations of our redemption. A vital validation of our redemption. We do wonders by the Word, the discoveries we make are what determines the level of command we gain. Nothing validates redemption as the supernatural. The most taunting revelation to the powers of darkness is access to the reality of our sonship. Every time Jesus said “my Father”, they stoned Him. I mean they wanted to kill Him. Church Gist. We have that in John 10:31, 39. How can you say God is your father? How can you say that? The devil is mad at this revelation to be able to say God is my Father. I am off human limitations. It taunts him. John 5:18. Psalm 82:5-7. I, God, have said that ye are gods. Not some of you. Not some of us who are prophets, all of us. The first born of a family is not any less human than the last born. As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God. God said so.
We need to train up to operate in that realm. We need to hold the rod in our hand to gain command. Exodus 4:17. I like you to devote this month to training up in commanding the supernatural. When a believer disregards the place of the supernatural, he becomes vulnerable to all life’s situations and circumstances. Church Gist. People are thinking of unbelievable options right now because of the situation of things in the country and around the world. You can’t have this insight and be troubled. You can’t gain this insight and be troubled.
There was this story told by Kenneth E. Hagin, a little lion cub was captured and began to grow among the sheep. So it lost its identity. It was eating what the sheep ate and drinking what the sheep drank and being afraid of what the sheep were afraid of. Anytime they went to the water trough and sighted a lion on the other side, all the sheep fled for their lives including the lion cub. It had lost its identity to its environment. Many Christians have lost their supernatural identity to the natural environment that they live in. What can I do, this is the reality? What is the reality? Church Gist. That’s ignorance. I never can tell till I go to heaven how my family was feeding on the meager salary that we earned from the ministry. Not a dime of this church money was mistakenly used for food in my family. Not a dime of this church money ever was spent to send our children to school. I have never lacked visitors in my house. It is a house of blessing. Even when I lived in one room, I had guests yet we were feeding. I am talking about supernatural lifestyle. A life of no apprehension. A life that puts you in command. You better train up. If you get down to a library, it is a walk through library, not a shelf. I still read daily. Train up!
Your greatest battle, you will face it alone. There will be nobody around you, it is what is in you that will answer. So train up! I had an attack with the spirit of death one day, everything was turning and then suddenly something in me spoke out. You know what did? Church Gist. The Word in me. What are you doing here? I don’t know either. I jacked off the bed, went to the bathroom, had my breakfast and went on my scheduled journey the same day. It is time to get something on your inside that makes you superior to the attacks on your outside. It is time to get something on your inside. I wrote in my new book, How Real Is The Supernatural. You will enjoy it. It is time to train up.
What’s a miracle? A miracle is simply God at work in the affairs of men. Acts 19:11. God still wroughts special miracles. He still does. He changes not. Mark 16:20. He still does. Hebrews 13:8. Church Gist. What is a miracle? It is the finger of God in operation. God reserves His hand on the issues of your life and it must give way, it must clear out, it must obey. Exodus 8:16-19.
How do I begin on the journey of the supernatural?
First, be born again. Surrender your life to Christ. Become a new creature by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Not become a member of a church, become a new creature with the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in your life. Because by their fruits we shall know them. There is no theoretical new birth. There are nine ‘fruit’ of the Spirit, they are the evidence of new birth. They are the proof of new birth. You can’t appropriate salvation, it is not an ideology. Church Gist. Salvation is an experience. Galatians 5:22. If you are born again, joy is part of your new nature. You can’t be born again and going about with depression. You need salvation that speaks with joy, love, peace, they are fundamental evidence of new birth. Somebody asked me years ago, “Brother David do you ever have problems?” I said “maybe it came and I didn’t know.” A fountain of joy is established in your soul when you are born again. They call it the joy of salvation. It doesn’t mean you are not challenged, you are challenged but that joy is overwhelming. It swallows up the challenges as if they do not exist.
So salvation that keeps you depressed every day check it and be reborn again. It is never late to be right. “Maybe Papa has never been challenged.” You ask Challenge when you meet him. Me and him have been in business for a long time but I always overcome him. Are you in love with God? It is a proof of whether you are born again. You can say you love Him, do you obey Him to prove that you love Him? Then stop that theory. New birth has been bastardized. People have just assumed, appropriated and all kinds of theology. “I love you God”. No attack has taken my sleep from my life. That somebody is attacking me and I can’t sleep? No! The peace of God overwhelms and overruns the attack. I can’t feel the attack. You just sleep like a baby, jump up in the morning and refire. The peace of God that passes all knowledge. I like you to ensure your salvation, it is the only way to operate in the supernatural. Ensure your salvation and ensure the currency of your salvation. Not I was saved, ensure the currency of your salvation. That is where the journey to the supernatural begins. John 3:8.
New birth among other things transmits eternal life to the believer in the place of human life. Romans 6:23. At new birth he gives us eternal life so we never perish. We belong to a higher grade of life at new birth. Acts 14:11. We are gods in the likeness of men through new birth. Interestingly, new birth repositions us to be far above all principalities and powers which puts us in command of the supernatural. Ephesians 2:6, 1:20-21. Church Gist. By new birth, we have been translated from kingdom of darkness to a higher Kingdom that is located far above where the oppressors and tormentors, the destroyers operate. That is why you can’t afford to be running around with theoretical salvation. Otherwise you are not there.
I have also come this morning to make available to you some materials that will help in your training up if you are interested. My first book on the supernatural, Releasing The Supernatural. It has imparted on many lives around the world. Get hold of it and embark on an adventure of discoveries. You will be glad you did. The second one is ‘Walking In The Miraculous’, there are all keys that enable us to operate in the miraculous. Then ‘Commanding The Supernatural’. It will go a long way in helping you develop your capacity in the school of the supernatural. Church Gist. You need to develop and you need to remain developed. I have ‘Operating In The Supernatural’. Anybody can pick it today and finish it by tomorrow morning and get himself set for the wonders of the month. ‘Signs And Wonders Today’ This volume will introduce you to the instruments of power that will help you win the war and then classified testimonies on various areas that will help boost your faith and enhance your level of command. So don’t be scared by the volume. Just get through to know what are the instruments that empower me to work in the supernatural. You find them in the initial pages of this work.
To show whether this works or not, during Covid-19, I wrote this book after gathering testimonies from around the world, from all the continents of the earth on how God set people free through God’s weapons of war available to us. So the book is titled ‘Jesus Still Heals All Terminal Diseases Including Corona Virus’. It is those weapons that sent COVID-19 packing. Church Gist. Covid-19 went packing by the forces of the Spirit that came against it. Tried to rise up again, no way. These forces destroy, they don’t just break. They destroy the forces of the devil. There is no plague on this earth that can despise the authority of the truth, you can be free from it. We were the first to break the myth of COVID-19 without apology. Not in the energy of the flesh but by the rumination of the Spirit that was available to us from the Word. So get this on and stop struggling and begging God, it is time to gain command. If this man found it without you training up, over to you. As I read those testimonies in that book, Signs And Wonders Today, I saw many who gave testimonies there who are off the faith today. Off the faith, no depth! They saw one miracle, they fled and everything left. Over to you.
By His grace, I am 55 years young in the faith. I have walked with Jesus for a while. I know a bit of what He does and how He does them. I know a bit of them. Please wake up! Church Gist. The supernatural puts you in command of the now and secures eternity when you get to the root of it. Can I think of an alternative to God forever? Never! It is over to you.
- In the name of Jesus, your supernatural nature will come into full blown manifestations this month.
- The things you used to struggle with will bow to you this month.
- The issues of concern in your life will turn into testimonies supernaturally.
Can I tell you why God confirms His Word in my assignment? I do only what He sent me to do. 29th June 1992, the Lord said to me “It is time for change. Prepare yourself for the imminent change of phase, I have talked to you about over the years. It is the era of signs and wonders.” We had seen a bit of it. He said “It is a new dimension of a higher order. Begin to declare total war against the Kingdom of darkness. Proclaim liberty, emphasize power, step into the realm of anointings. Usher in this era with me. It is time for the restitution of all things which the mouth of all the prophets have spoken since the world began. It is time to administer the forces of the Spirit that will enable the saints to take up their inheritance in Christ.” Church Gist. God spoke those things to me. Then in April 2000, He said to me and I am doing that job right now, “Go teach the world to operate in the supernatural as the original disciples did.” I want to believe that from now, whatever works in my hands will start working in your hands.
Allow God to train your hands to war and your fingers to fight. You can start breaking bars of steel with your bare hands. David went with a sling and a stone and brought down Goliath. Church Gist. Ordinary weapons and there was no sword in his hand. Don’t let any devil belittle and despise the weapons that you carry, they will bring down any Goliath, no matter where they may be. Do wake up and train up! Place greater value on the spiritual forces available to you to live above the situation and circumstances.
- No matter what goes on on this earth, the supernatural will distinguish you.
- You will never lack food to eat.
Heaven’s kitchen is still open. - You will never withdraw your children from school.
Heaven’s abundance is still speaking on the earth today.
He said “This time tomorrow, you will have more food than you ever imagined.” They said what? Did He do it or not?
- You will never beg for bread.
- You will never beg for water.
- You never wear borrowed clothes.
Supernatural supply is real. Supernatural lifestyle is real. Connect with it and move into the next phase of your life. That’s the way it works. Church Gist. Train up is the centre of the message this morning. The supernatural is real, train up to operate in it. It is getting off into spiritual space, you need to train.
- Therefore by the authority of Christ at work in me, I decree a change of phase in your spiritual life.
As I close, in 1977 I was in the book of Ezekiel and I saw the drama of Ezekiel 37:1-14. It was fascinating to me so I went to the mountain on a three day out with Jesus to study the book of Ezekiel. Training! I said Lord show me the secret behind the book of Ezekiel. I arrived on that mountain and the first thing that happened was that a serpent fell from the tree. I have never known serpents to be on the tree but now I know that they climb trees. There was no shelter on that mountain, so it was rugged training. I said Satan you lie, this must be the mountain of God because a serpent appeared in the Garden of Eden. Church Gist. I am not going anywhere. Then the sky became dark and pregnant with rain. I said rain stop, if you don’t stop I won’t stop too. The rain came and drenched with badly. The only treasure I had there was my Bible and my note, so I covered it with my body. I was using torchlight to read. People are too convenient to gain command. I could have returned back home, “God save my life. See a serpent.” Me and serpent were on that mountain, I mean one serpent is greater than the other. By the third day, on my way back the Lord said to me, “Behold I have touched your tongue with a coal of fire. As from henceforth, as you say it you see it.” You better train up for a change of level of command in your life. Train up my friend.
I came down from that mountain and can I tell what happened? He said “Go to that church, you are going to minister there this morning.” I said who is the pastor here? I am ministering here this morning. He said the Lord told him somebody is coming to minister here this morning. People are so full of guesswork. I preached one dangerous message. Can you be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? That is what Jesus said. That is the scripture, close your Bible let’s go home. Then fire came down. Understand what I am saying, train up! I spent 5 days searching the book of Acts. Ah ah? For a good reader that can’t be, five days to read that? I was swimming in each chapter with utmost crave for access. Church Gist. You can’t gain command sitting down, you gain command training up. If after all these what you are still saying is “Papa pray for me.” I don’t know what you are looking for. I have told you now what to do. You have what it takes, now engage it. The good news is God’s agenda of fortune for 2024 will deliver fully in your life as you reach out to gain command. How can you be looking around for a job? What you believe God creates. So get to a point where you lay hold on the Word that delivers it and then you get it. Somebody’s life is changed.
Do you enlist children in the army? Grow up! It is your turn for a change of story.
Isaiah 9:16. Government shall rest upon the shoulders of the Son, not the child. Authority is conferred upon sons, not children. Grow up. The Word is so simple that children can understand it. I was telling one of my granddaughters yesterday that children can understand the Word. He said “From a child, you have known the holy scriptures.” At the age of 16, I knew I must take responsibility early. I knew I am redeemed a royalty, I must not keep behaving like a slave. Church Gist. I knew God is not slow, so be patient in the race of life. I was 16 when I knew that. How can we now be as grown as we are and claim not to know because we won’t search. It is time to grow up and not only gain command but stay in command. This tabernacle is a miracle. I am sure you know. They will tell me they need 40 million tommorow, I will say carry on. No telephone contact. No nothing, the money arrives. God said it is time to get the aircraft. how? Be asking. Six months after the aircraft landed. 29th November 2025 10am, the Ark is dedicated. Life! Please it is not enough to gain command but to stay in command and that happens by holding the rod in your hand. I mean current with the rod. Your life has taken a new turn.
- Receive the meekness of a learner.
- Receive the disciple of a learner in the name of Jesus.
- Receive grace to take responsibility, you are redeemed a blessing not a burden.
- You are redeemed a peculiar person not an ordinary being, receive grace to take responsibility. Church Gist. You are redeemed a wonder to your world and not a wanderer, recieve grace to take responsibility.
- Whatever you set your time to search for this month, you will find.
One of our daughters here took the book Turnaround Testimonies By The Word after a Sunday Service. She was looking for a job. She sat under a tent and read through that book. She got the job on Tuesday. She got the rod and got the job.
- Whatever you set your heart to search for, in this realm this month, you shall find and you shall have the evidence that you found it.
- This month will not go like any other month in your life.
