Our Prophetic Focus for the Month which was read to us this morning is, “I’m Redeemed a Wonder to my World”. Can we say that together? “I’m Redeemed a Wonder to my World”. Church Gist. I want you to say it with conviction and faith this morning. “I’m Redeemed a Wonder to my World”.
- That will be your testimony from this month in the name of Jesus.
- Everyone that sees you from now will see you as a living wonder in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We’re going to begin these series of teachings this morning that is captioned, “OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL” and God’s Servant made the following statements this morning, we also heard it in the Prophetic Focus being read to us that the supernatural, as it were, is like taking flight into spiritual space. Church Gist. It is taking flight into spiritual space. It is operating as a sign and wonder to the World, where individuals look at your life and it causes them to wonder. You know, wondering means to ponder, how can this thing be?
- From now, concerning your life, concerning your family, concerning your business, your career, concerning your health, people will begin to wonder!
- If you believe it, say a louder Amen.
- I said people will begin to wonder.
That is the Scriptural picture of the believer. Isaiah 8:18. Our lives are expected to begin to provoke the pondering of men, wondering what kind of man is this. That’s what happened to Jesus. Church Gist. The Bible tells us clearly concerning Christ, it said they began to ask themselves, “What kind of man is this? What kind of person is this? What kind of wisdom is this? What kind of mighty works are these?” He was manifesting as a Wonder to His world.
- From now, your colleagues, your neighbors, your family members will begin to wonder at your life.

- I said, they will begin to wonder at your life.

That’s what the Bible says, it says “Joshua, you and the men that sit around you, you are men to be wondered at. Church Gist. Men to be wondered at”.
-From now, that will be the testimony of your life.

But as we all know, every man has potential to fly an aircraft, but he can never fly until he’s trained. It takes training to take flight. In the same vein, believers trying to find their way into the air without being trained or being committed to the required spiritual training, will amount to mere wishes. There will be no result in it. What that means is that if we are going to take flight, then there is a demand for us to be spiritually trained. Church Gist. The good news is that God has a training agenda for the supernatural living of His people. Psalm 18:33-36. You see, it takes training to command exploits. The supernatural responds to intense training and that’s what this Month is all about. It’s to bring us to the realm of training for the command of the supernatural. There are things that you cannot do until you’re trained. It’s so in the physical, so it is also in the spiritual.
I remember as a child, a relative of mine had learnt taekwondo and he knew how to break a block with his hands. So, you’ll put a block down and he could break it with his hands because he had being trained. Unfortunately, I have not being trained like that, but I thought “Well, there’s nothing. Church Gist. Is it not hand he used to break block. Block too will break” and I took a block one day and I hit the block, the block didn’t break, only God saved my hand from breaking. The difference between the two of us was training. Potentials may be there, but reality is only exposed by training. Every believer has the potential for the supernatural. But every believer only manifest according to the degree of his training.
- My prayer this morning is that via the encounters of this Month, each one of us will take new dimensions of the supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Levels we have never ascended to, by the trainings of this Month, I see each one of us ascending to such levels.

If you look through Scriptures you’ll also see the example of Abraham. Genesis 14:14. We know from Scriptures that you and I are from that Abrahamic lineage. We have that Abrahamic covenant. Church Gist. We see that in the Book of Galatians 3:13,14 and if that is the case, then it means that you and I have the responsibility for training in order to experience the manifestation of the supernatural in our lives. So, training is a non negotiable factor. It is a non negotiable factor in the life of the believer.
The question is, how do we get trained? Our training in the realm of the Spirit takes place by the instrument of the Word. God’s Word is God’s instrument of training. It is through the Word that God trains us. Hebrews 6:5. So, it takes our access to the Word to be trained in order to command the supernatural. Hebrews 5:13,14. Church Gist. These are individuals that have been trained by the Word. So it means that as we build physical skills, as we build career skills, there is a need to also build spiritual skill and our spiritual skill is built by our access to the Word of God. That means that the more we take in God’s Word, the more we build up our skill and why is that so? Because the Word of God is the rod of signs. Exodus 4:17. What is the rod? The rod represent Christ. We are shown that in the Book of Isaiah 11:1. That’s speaking of Jesus Christ. So the rod is Christ and who is Christ? Christ is the Word. John 1:1-3,14. So, Jesus is the Word and the Word is the rod. Church Gist. That means that it is the Word that you and I gain access to that determines the command that we can exhibit. You cannot exhibit any spiritual command beyond your Word training. You can’t. You can’t exhibit any spiritual command beyond your Word training. It takes training in the Word to exhibit spiritual command.

-My prayer today is that via the trainings that God will be putting you and I through this Month, we shall begin to experience supernatural command in the name of Jesus Christ.

This is important because nothing validates our redemption like the supernatural. Nothing validates our redemption like the supernatural. It is the supernatural that validates our manifestation in redemption. So it means that any time a person says he’s born again, one of the evidences that should show is the manifestation of the supernatural. Church Gist. Mark 16:20. If you say “I’m a believer” then signs and wonders should be your credentials. That’s what shows your identity. Romans 8:19. When they say where is your Id. card as a believer, your Id. card is signs and wonders. That is the identity card.
You know one day, the Bible says that John the Baptist sent a word to Jesus in Matthew 11, “Are you the one that should come, or should we look for another?” and the Bible says in the very moment, Jesus began to manifest signs and wonders. Matthew 11:4,6. Go and tell him the things that you’ve seen. Church Gist. That is, I have shown you my Id. card. “Now, take to him my identification and tell him blessed is he that is not offended in me.” Now, listen to me. That is the dimension that God expects you and I to begin to operate in, that the supernatural becomes the credential of identity, where those who see us can tell that there is something different about us.
- Shout hallelujah.
That’s what God expects. Acts 5:12,13. “These people are different from us. They look like us, but there is something different about them.” Church Gist. The people magnified them. It was clear that these were supernatural entities.
- From this season onward, that will become your identity.

That’s why God’s Servant has said over the years, if you don’t have a proof, you don’t have a point. It takes the manifestation of the supernatural for you to have a point. We are not in the days of explanations, we are in the days of manifestations. 1 Corinthians 2:4,5. We are in the days of manifestation. Church Gist. That’s the day that God has brought us into and that’s why you and I must train up so that we will not be relegated. Our identity in these last days can only be validated by our manifestation of the supernatural. Shout hallelujah. This is so important and that’s what God is set to do in our midst this Month.
- and I pray that no one here will miss out on this agenda in the name of Jesus.

You see, it is when we train up that we leave the realm of wishes. Miracles are not wished, they are worked. They are not wished, they are worked. You work miracles and to work it, you need to be trained effectively. Kenneth Copeland said something that stuck with me. He said as he began to come up in the faith, he would watch Oral Roberts and he discovered that this man knew how to use his faith like a tool. Church Gist. He said the way a mechanic would use his tools to fix a car, he said Oral Roberts knew how to use his faith to fix people’s challenges as far as health is concerned. He knew how to work. So, miracles are not wished, they’re worked. They’re not wished. You don’t wish them to happen. They’re worked to happen. Shout hallelujah. They’re worked to happen. You don’t wish them. You work them and that working takes faith and it takes the Word of God for you and I to be built up accordingly in order to see the wonders of God manifested in our midst.
- I see that becoming our experience from now in the name of Jesus Christ.
When a believer disregards the place of the supernatural, he becomes vulnerable to all of life’s circumstances. Anything that happens, happens, when a believer disregards the place of the supernatural. Church Gist. The supernatural is our distinctive factor, it’s what makes us different. It’s what allows us to not live our lives to chance, but to take charge in every situation. So, when the supernatural is disregarded, the believer’s life is relegated to the back.
- But that will never be your experience in the name of Jesus.
Quickly this morning, what is a miracle?
- A miracle is God at work in the affairs of men. God at work in the affairs of men. Church Gist. That’s a miracle. God at work in the affairs of men. Acts 19:11,12.
We heard a testimony in the First Service, a particular woman who came last week, was in the service and remember, the mantle was administered and we were told to have the mantle with us and so forth and she said that, that day, she was reminded by the Spirit of God and she put the mantle inside her pocket and she was crossing the road and right in the middle of the road, she froze. Church Gist. She said she could not move. She just discovered she could not move. Road was clear when she was crossing, but she got to the middle and somehow she was stuck there. But the mantle was in her pocket and according to her testimony, she said a force just pushed her out of the road. As vehicles were coming through, there needed to be a supernatural intervention, that is God at work in the affairs of men. Church Gist. When her natural legs could not move her, the hand of God moved her and she was saved from that accident. Shout hallelujah! That’s what a miracle is. A miracle is God at work in the affairs of men. It says “God wrought special miracles”.
- It is the finger of God in operation. Exodus 8:15-19. You see, when you go to certain places, they would ask you among other things, to do your fingerprint. When you see fingerprints, fingerprints will look alike until they are analyzed. When it is analyzed, no two fingerprints are the same. Church Gist. Everyone is distinct. You see, the magicians were doing what they call wonders, but when God came on the scene, the fingerprint was different. Wonder and wonder. But this one is a different kind of wonder. Why? The fingerprint of God. Is somebody getting what God is saying?
You see, we live in a world that is full of all kinds of things. But when you talk about a miracle, you are talking about something that has the fingerprint of God, that nothing else looks like it. Church Gist. It is distinct. It says the magicians tried with their enchantments, but they could not and they told Pharoah, “This one is the finger of God. It cannot be replicated, it cannot be duplicated”. Shout hallelujah!
- From this time onward, the fingerprint of God will be evident in your own life.

- From this time onward, the fingerprint of God will be evident in your own life.
- Concerning your family, the fingerprint of God will be evident in your family.
- As it concerns your business, the fingerprint of God will be evident in your business.

It’s so clear. That’s what God expects you and I to begin to experience, where it is evident that the fingerprint of God is being made manifest there. Look at this Commission today, the truth is that as this Commission is continuing to advance everywhere, people know this is God, even those who are angry know this is God. Those who are jealous know this is God. Those who are offended know this is God. There is no way to explain it. Church Gist. The fingerprint of God is evident. How does a Church move from the City and go to the outskirts and grow in the outskirts? I thought that Church grows because people come, but here, the Church is in the outskirts where people are not and yet, it is still growing. Why? The fingerprint of God. How does God say “September 18, 1999, the Tabernacle shall be dedicated”, when the foundation has not yet been laid? The fingerprint of God.
How does God say that this Church shall be minimum double? and then the Church doubles and He says it again and the Church doubles again. The fingerprint of God. How do you hear 5,000 Churches will be planted and at the end you count it and 5,000 are planted? It is the fingerprint of God. I didn’t say 5,000 people, I said 5,000 Churches. Church Gist. How do you hear 10,000 Churches will be planted and at the end, 10,000 Churches are planted? The fingerprint of God. “This is none other than the finger of God” How do you come to Church everyday, the Ark is growing and you are not groaning? no pressure on you, no mention of “Oh, this is required, that is required” The fingerprint of God. When God’s finger is involved, the difference is clear. Church Gist. Can you imagine that gigantic project is going on as if nothing is happening, temperature is calm, pressure is calm, everything is just moving as if nothing is happening. The biggest of things occurring without the slightest of sweat showing. It is the fingerprint of God.
- For somebody hearing my voice this morning, from this month onward, in your life, your family, your career, your business, your education, your marriage, the fingerprint of God shall be evident.

- I said the fingerprint of God shall be evident in the name of Jesus.
- The fingerprint of God shall be evident in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now quickly. Having seen what a miracle is, the question we must then address is, what does it take to operate in the supernatural? Church Gist. Today we are going to look at one vital key and that is, engage the power of new birth.
Engage the power of new birth. John 3:3,7. That’s the starting point. Our registration in the supernatural is at the point of an authentic experience of salvation. Please, hear this. Not every salvation is an authentic one. I’m not just talking about carrying an identity as a Christian, no. I’m talking about having an authentic experience of salvation. Church Gist. If you remember in the Book of Acts 8, after Philip entered into Samaria, he preached Christ there and the people believed and the Bible says even Simon was there also and he also believed. But his experience was not an authentic one. Acts 8:15-21. So, it takes an authentic experience of salvation.
2 Corinthians 5:17. So, when a person becomes born again, old things must pass. Genuine salvation ushers man into living a new life. Old things must pass away. 1 John 3:7-10. So, genuine salvation ushers you out of a life of sinfulness into a life of righteousness. So, he cannot live a sinful life anymore. He cannot be comfortable with a sinful life anymore. Church Gist. There is a different nature inside of him. You see, when a man becomes born again, that individual goes from an old life or an old order of life to a new order of life. Shout hallelujah. To a new order of life. We know that in the physical, nature affects conduct. When you are born of something, the nature of that thing in you is what actually dictates in many ways, your conduct.
I remember that as my children began to grow up, my wife began to make an observation on the 2 of them. Many times, there is a way that I would do my hand, my children would do their hand that way, even when they are sleeping. So, she will straighten the hand and say “Why did you do your hand like that?” and as they continued sleeping, the hand will go back. Are you getting what I’m saying? Church Gist. It will just adjust back to that position. Why? Because they are born of me, so there are conducts in me that are inside them. When you are born of God, the conduct of God should be inside you. 1 John 3:8. You cannot expect to see a cow chewing meat. Why? The nature of cow inside him, makes it such that all he eat is grass. You say “This cow, I like this cow so much. I don’t want to kill this cow. I want to take care of this cow, so I want to feed him different kinds of meal” So, you carry meat and give cow to eat. Church Gist. It can’t eat meat because it’s not in its nature. When you carry the nature of God, then the Characteristics of God begin to manifest through you. So, the starting point is you must have a genuine experience of salvation.
Now the question is, what does that salvation experience have to do with our experience or command of the supernatural?
- New birth positions believers to walk in the supernatural. Why? It infuses that supernatural nature into us. John 3:8. So, anyone that is born of the Spirit, that is born again is born into a limitless life. Church Gist. You are ordained to operate in the realm of the supernatural. Mark 16:17. So, when a man is born again, he’s born into a supernatural dimension of existence.
- From today, I see that becoming your experience in the name of Jesus.
- If you believe it, say a louder Amen.
- I said, from today, I see that becoming your own experience in the name of Jesus Christ.
So that means that you don’t need to be a Pastor, you don’t need to be a Deacon, a Deaconess, an Elder, an Apostle, a Prophet, in order to command the supernatural, you just simply need to be born again. Church Gist. When you are born again, you are ushered into the realm of the supernatural. That is our registration in the realm of the supernatural.
- I see that becoming our experience in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Every child of God shares eternal life with God, therefore, such a person is ‘a God’ in the likeness of men. Every child of God shares eternal life with God and therefore, that person is ‘a God’ in the likeness of men. We know that the child of a goat is what? Talk to me this morning, is what? (a goat) The child of a cow is what? (a cow) Church Gist. The child of a dog is what? (a dog) The child of a lion is what? (a lion) The child of a man is what? (a man) and then child of God should be what? (God) Very simple, straight line equation. If you are born of God, then you are born ‘a God’. This is one revelation that you will find the enemy continuously trying to fight against. Fighting against our identity. Everytime Jesus said “I and my Father are one” There was always contention. “Who are you to make yourself equal with God?”
John 10:35. So every single individual that is born of God is born ‘a God’ to their world. You see, people don’t have a challenge believing when they are born again that “I am born of God. I am a child of God” So, you hear them saying “I’m a child of God now. I’m born again now” but they cannot identify with the reality of the fact that they have been born into a new order of manifestation because they have been born as Gods to their world. Church Gist. So, when a man or woman becomes born again, such a person has been born as ‘a God’ to his or her world. Acts 14:11. When they saw them they knew these were not ordinary human beings, these were divine entities. It was clear. “The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men” and you see, that’s why you and I must continuously go to the Word of God because that re-orientates us with our new identity. We can begin to see the reality.
I remember many years ago, God’s Servant said he was studying the Scriptures and suddenly, he came to when God created man and he saw that the Bible said “the Lord breathed into man the breath of life” That was in Raji Oba. “Breathed into man the breath of life” and he said “Oh, so all these science teachers lied to us. Church Gist. They told us that what we are breathing in and out is oxygen and carbon dioxide. I didn’t know that it is life that is inside me as breath.” and from there he would go, many miracles took place, breathe into people and he will see life surge. He breathed into somebody who had HIV, life surged, HIV checked out. Church Gist. Why? Because he could see now the identity. “I am not just a human being breathing in oxygen and out carbon dioxide. But I am a God being carrying life in me. That when I breathe out that life, it kills whatever is coming as death and ensures the preservation of that destiny”. Shout hallelujah!
You see, you and I must come to the recognition of the fact that if you are in Christ, you carry eternal life in you and that eternal life in you makes you ‘a God’ in the likeness of men. Church Gist. You are able to command supernatural occurrences.
- I see that becoming somebody’s experience in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

- New birth repositions us to be far above all principalities and powers. It will put us in command of the supernatural. New birth, it repositions us to be far above all principalities and powers which put us in command of the supernatural. Ephesians 2:5,6. Now, where is that place He has made us to sit? Ephesians 1:20,21. He has placed us far above. Church Gist. That is a place of authority. So, when you and I are in Christ, we have been repositioned to a place of authority. We can exercise authority over the enemy. Every principality, every power, is subject to you and I in Christ. Somebody says “oh, but why is it that people are then tormented by principalities?” Because they don’t know. Psalm 82:5,6. Most of the time, the devil takes advantage of people’s ignorance. Church Gist. But when you are in Christ, you have been placed far above principalities, far above powers, far above the rulers of the darkenes of this world. Ephesians 1:21. You have been placed far above them. That is the reality of our redemption and when we recognize that we begin to command the supernatural with ease.
- I see that becoming our experience from now in the name of Jesus Christ.
That’s why we need to take a deep dive into God’s Word and make a discovery of the reality of what our identity is in Christ. Some years ago, 2008 to be precise, I was at home at night and somehow that night I could not sleep so I got up, took up my Bible and I began to read and I got to the Book of Matthew 8:16 and suddenly, that Word “He cast out the evil spirit with His Word” just came alive to me and my spirit man was charged. Church Gist. I got to Church that next day, we were having a healing service that morning. Conducted the service, I was looking for any devil anywhere, because I’ve just found something about my identity in Christ, that my word, I can use it and cast any devil. So the service finished, I didn’t see any devil. I went back to the office and then right in the office, I just began to hear commotion in the next office. Church Gist. So I got into that office to find out what is going on and a woman was there, was being counseled by the Pastor and after the counseling, the Pastor said shall we pray and as he began to pray, suddenly the woman started speaking with a man’s voice. When I heard it I was happy, I was excited, why? “He cast out evil spirits with His Word”. I said “You are the one I’ve been waiting for”.
So, I took the Word of God. I began to read the Word of God. The Secretary in the office, I said “Go and bring the blood for me” She brought the blood, entered the office, when she heard the man’s voice coming out of the woman, she dropped the blood and ran out of the office and ran into the Sanctuary and stayed in the Sanctuary, but right after engaging the mystery of the blood, I spoke to her and I said “In the name of Jesus, I command you foul spirit, out in the name of Jesus” and immediately, the d€mon departed. Church Gist. The woman came back to herself and said “What happened here?” She was completely unaware. In one moment, she was set free because I saw an identity from the Word of God. There are things that are confronting you because you have not identified yourself yet. When you see who you are from the Word, you will command new dimensions of dominion and will put the enemy at bay.
- From now, as your light comes alive, I see the enemy being put to shame in your life!
- If you believe it, say a loud Amen.
Therefore, the charge to each one of us this Month is very simple. Let us train up so we can command the supernatural. (x5) Let’s train up in this month. Church Gist. Let’s do that by getting addicted to the Word. Let’s do that by diving into materials, settling down with books until our light comes alive. When that happens, manifestation becomes the natural order of the day.
- That will become somebody’s experience from now.

- From this season onward, as you begin to move, the manifestations in your life will announce your own identity in the name of Jesus Christ. Church Gist. I said it will announce your own identity in the name of Jesus Christ.
