On Sunday June 5, on getting feedback from the heartwrenching scenes of the carnage unleashed at a service of the St Francis Catholic Church, in southwestern Nigeria, I couldn’t help but say ‘not again’.
The kind of unimaginable hell let loose on children, women and men who lost their lives in scores, with many more left in pain, is beyond belief.
Today, we mourn as a Nation, because where we had hoped to see healing, we have continued to experience immeasurable pain.
Our God is alive and I believe that justice will be served.
Today, we cry and we mourn, yet we will keep our hope alive.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace 🕊
