PRAISE FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS IS ACKNOWLEDGING GOD IN WORDS, SONGS AND DANCE.
WHEN YOU PRAY AND NOTHING HAPPENS PRAISE GOD.
GOD IS CONCERNED ABOUT OUR NEEDS BUT GET MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MINISTERING TO HIM.
ANY PRAYER NOT WRAPPED WITH PRAISE WILL BE A PROTEST.
ANY PRAYER YOU PRAY AND IT’S NOT WORKING, CONNECT IT WITH PRAISE.
DON’T SING SONGS THAT ARE EMOTIONAL, SING SONGS THAT GLORIFY GOD’S NAME.
WHEN YOU ARE MINISTERING TO GOD, MAKE SURE IT’S A SONG THAT TALKS ABOUT HIS GREATNESS.
WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO, THAT’S THE TIME TO PRAISE.
TODAY, GOD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLES.
WHEN THE GANG-UP AGAINST ME WAS THICK. THE ONLY ANSWER AT THAT TIME WAS PRAISE.
WHEN YOU PRAY GOD INTERVENES. WHEN YOU PRAISE, GOD TAKES THE LEAD.

Luke 1:26-28. Luke 1:31-33.
In the sixth month was when she (Mary) heard the news.
-You will hear uncommon news. Church Gist. We will hear uncommon news, news that will make us laugh in the open because what He says to one, He says to all. As God makes us to be favoured, He will be with us.
She was not the only woman, she was not the only virgin but she was blessed.
-I don’t care many (people who) are in the World; but you and I will be blessed. Among the over 7 billion people, you and I will be blessed.
John 17:28. Greatness will be identified with us. Whatever Jesus has is for us. Luke 1:32. Number one ‘Great’, second thing ‘Throne’. You will not just be misplaced. Each and every one of us will have a throne in the name of Jesus. Luke 1:33. ‘Greatness’, ‘Throne’, ‘Reign’. These three things will become our portion. “He shall reign”. You will not roam! From today, these three things will happen to anyone who says Amen.
-You and I will be great. You will have a throne, you shall reign. This prophecy will be established this Month. This Sixth Month, it shall come to pass!
“Lord! This Month, I will be highly favoured, I will have uncommon testimonies, I will be great, I will have a throne and I will reign!” Declare it in the name of Jesus!

Thank You, Lord! In Jesus’ mighty name!
-Whatever your mouth has opened to declare in line with God’s Word is going to be real. This shall be your best month! Church Gist. You will dance in the open! I repeat, you will dance in the open! Nothing will stop your full-scale after in the name of Jesus.
-Lord speak to us through Your Word and give us understanding of Your Word in Jesus’ mighty name.
This Month has been declared our month of ‘Securing Divine Help’. We’ll be looking at PRAISE FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS – PART 2. Not all winners in life sweat to win. Sweat does not connote success otherwise truck pushers would have been the richest. Church Gist. That you are sweating does not mean you are succeeding. We’re in the era of victories, remarkable accomplishments. Hear this and hear me well, you can’t give God heartfelt praise and not make a mark on the Earth.
What Is Praise?
Praise is exalting and magnifying God in words, clapping and dancing for who He is. Church Gist. So praise for answered prayers is acknowledging God in words, songs, dance for responding to our demands through His intervention.
-Today, God will intervene concerning your affairs.
Everybody knows about prayer even when they don’t get an answer they say: “I’ve prayed.” They are not bothered to know why the answer is not forthcoming. Even when they pray, they say: “We pray, we pray.” Whether answer comes or not, they say we prayed. Every prayer Jesus offered He got an answer. There was nowhere Jesus prayed without an answer.
-From today, every prayer you offer will return with an answer.
Many have done everything except the right thing. “Oh! I’ve done everything.” You’ve not done the right thing. You can’t do it right and not get it right. Now hear this and hear me well, turn with me to the Book of Acts 13:2. Many are familiar with one kind of prayer that is the Prayer of Petition. Church Gist. “Oh! God! Do this for me.” It is Scriptural but we should also learn how to minister to the Lord. Hear this and hear me well, it will surprise you. Instead of ministering to God, we minister to one another most times we say we are praising. Our praise is more of ministering to ourselves instead of ministering to God. Are you getting what I’m saying? I will go further.
Most of our songs minister to us instead of ministering to God. Most times when we sing we don’t minister to God, we minister to ourselves. There are songs to say: “He lifts me up, He lifts me up!” Maybe give me one of the two (songs), where are those songs? To say: “Lift me up, lift me up.” 🎶 He lifts me up, He turns me around…🎶 He turns me around, okay. Church Gist. If God will be turning you around, you are ministering to yourself, you are not ministering to God. Turnaround oh turnaround. All those kinds of songs you sing: “Turnaround.” 🎶 He lifts me up, ah! Lift me up. God will lift you up 🎶 You will be singing: 🎶 “Lift me up🎶 That is, you are ministering not to God you are ministering to ourselves. Those kinds of words don’t move God, we get excited but we are not ministering to God. 🎶 He lifts me up, He turns me around… 🎶 Shout hallelujah!
Now, we pray for God to meet our needs. In most of our services, we sing songs that minister to us only. A few songs minister to the Lord. Acts 13:2. Yes! God is concerned about our needs but get more concerned about ministering to the Lord. Church Gist. Now because God made you and I to fellowship with Him, He’s our Father, He wants you to have your needs met but I’m going to show you a typical example in Acts 16. Paul and Silas were arrested in Philippi where they had gone to preach. Two of them were preaching, they were not doing anything wrong when they were arrested and thrown into jail. They were to be executed the following day, they were to be killed.
Acts 16:24. Now, considering that they were in such a thing. If it’s today, many of us would have sung songs like: “Oh! God! You know I was doing your work. What is all this? What have I done to you? Lord! Then you now compose a song 🎶 Oh! What have I done? 🎶 Your songs will be more emotional instead of ministering. Church Gist. It will be full of sympathy and complain because they were doing the work of God when they were thrown into (prison). You would have asked many questions: “Lord! What did I do? What sin did I commit that you put me here? Then you will now compose a song. 🎶 What did I do? And I found myself here. 🎶 Paul and Silas couldn’t have been singing some of the songs we sing today. If it were that kind of song, God wouldn’t have brought them out of prison – they ministered to God in the midst of challenges.
-May your praise today bring you out of challenges.
Acts 16:25. When they prayed to a point Paul said, I knew what to do! Stop praying, let’s switch over to praise because any prayer not wrapped with praise will be a protest. So when you pray, pray and nothing happens praise God because every prayer, when you give praise it becomes a prayer catalyst. “Our Father! Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.” Until you hallow Him you will not stop wallowing. Matthew 6:9. So before the prayer will be continued, there must be a praise session. Are you getting me, sir? Acts 16:26. Church Gist. Most of our songs don’t praise God, they are more of entertainment, excitement, complain than praise. 🎶 Bend low, bend low… 🎶 Which one go dey bend low na? Don’t allow challenges make you sing emotional songs. Did you hear me at all? Minister to God. You know? You can sing songs emotionally and be crying (Illustrating). 🎶 Oh God! Forever you are God! But I don’t know what you are there doing 🎶 (Laughing). If Paul and Silas had been like a lot of us today. We would rather complain than to praise God. Say the truth: If you were in the shoes of Paul and Silas, are you sure you will praise? You won’t praise. Many of you, you would have said: “God! Is it now I’m preaching that they will harass me? Are you still in Heaven? That was the problem of John the Baptist.
Many of us, we complain to complicate and compound our problems. Church Gist. Challenges come to all but in the midst of challenges, give glory to God.
-This Month, your midnight hour will turn to a testimony.
Midnight hour connotes when you are at the crossroad. That’s midnight hour! In our midnight hour when things seem contrary, turn on the switch and praise God. The Early Church understood this secret, they were praising God in spite of persecution, adversity and challenges around them. They were heavily persecuted. Church Gist. There’s no persecution, this one northerners are saying there’s persecution. The Early Church was highly persecuted yet in the midst of persecution they were praising God. That’s why their victories were unfathomable. Praising God was their lifestyle. Not this one we do occasionally, it was their lifestyle – the Early Church. Luke 24:50-53. Acts 2:42-47.
-Your praise today will bring favour to your life.
Worship and praise to God was a part of daily life of the Early Christians. Church Gist. It’s not something they did occasionally, no! They were doing it daily.
-May you understand and move to another level.
Paul and Silas ministered to who? To God. They ministered to God and God intervened.
-As you minister in praise today, God will intervene.
When you get to the crossroad, minister! What do you do? (Minister). Give God quality praise. Don’t sing songs that are emotional, sing songs that glorify His name. Most times what we call praise is entertainment. Many don’t understand. Even those who sing don’t understand praise. Praise is exalting Him for who He is. Church Gist. Are you getting me now? Most songs we sing, they are not praise oo, we don’t minister to God, we minister to ourselves. 🎶 He has turn me around, turn me around 🎶 God go turn you around. We are ministering to ourselves, you are not ministering to God. Until you minister, you sing songs that talk about who God is. Then, you see Him intervene. Shout a big hallelujah! Shout hallelujah! How many of you will praise God today?
Many have prayed without praising, many pray: “Our Father which art in Heaven hallowed be Thy name.” No hallowing? You keep wallowing! Thy Kingdom come. Church Gist. Many what they call prayer is protests, no praise in the prayer. Look! Any prayer you pray and it’s not working; switch! Connect it with what? Praise. God is not deaf.
Psalm 65:1. So before the prayer would be heard, praise has to be in place. Check the whole Bible, everywhere prayer went like this, praise was involved. At the Tomb of Lazarus, “Father!” What? (Thanksgiving). Then God answered. “Father! I’ve come to you, I have not eaten since morning. God says: “Hunger! Continue!” But “Father! I thank you, you are wonderful! Give me this day my daily bread.” Some of you, your prayers, you have done 40 days fasting prayer, it’s not answered. Church Gist. Is God deaf? In fact! Even the prayer is complain: “Father! David Ibiyeomie became born again yesterday, me I’ve been born again before him. Every day, he sends testimony that he’s getting money, his God is blessing him. Me, what did I do that you will not bless me?” You are already complaining oo. “In fact that brother who came, he was a criminal before he came to our Church. Now he’s born again, I saw him with new car. My own I have been born again, sweeping Church, cleaning Church, running everywhere, doing everything, yet I’m trekking. Father! What are you saying?” God says: “You! Stay here, stay here!” Even the prayer is with what? Complain and bitterness.
If you were in Paul’s position will you praise? Paul did not commit sin oo, you, you committed sin. Paul did not commit any sin yet they threw him to where? Prison. If it’s you, when you’re preaching you say: “I went for crusade, my car broke down. Why will I go for crusade (and) my car break down? Car broke down, are you the one that broke down?” In everything give what? (Praise). Do you know whether the car broke down so that God may not allow you meet armed robbers? “Father in the name of Jesus, if you were in Heaven why would my car break down?” Even this rain that failed today, the way they will complain: “See rain beat me, soak me for water. Church Gist. Person wey dey go Church go come soak like this for what? Are you still God? Eh? You said I should come to Church, now I’ve come and now soak from my head to my pants, everywhere soaked like that for what?” It’s better you are soaked and you are fresh than not to be soaked and you are in the hospital, which one do you prefer? Soak and fresh. Maybe you didn’t bathe well. The shower of blessings (Laughing). God will say: “Since you didn’t bathe well, let me bathe you Myself. I will do you this spiritual baptism.” In everything give what? Thanks. Do you know what God is averting in your life? Sometimes, some things we don’t see. God can use anything to stop you, maybe a danger wants to come, armed robbers was to attack you and then He makes sure armed robbers don’t have access to your house. 2 Chronicles 20. Shout hallelujah!
Don’t sing all those kinds of 🎶 Bend low, bend low. 🎶 Any song you sing, look at their wordings. Are they ministering to God or they are ministering to yourself? If you are praising oo you can sing it at your home. When you are ministering (to God), make sure it’s a song that talks about the greatness of God. Church Gist. You are free to sing them on your own but don’t minister to yourself. Minister to what? To God. 2 Chronicles 20:1. 2 Chronicles 20:12. 2 Chronicles 20:17. 2 Chronicles 20:21-24. 2 Chronicles 20:29-30. Three outstanding enemies came against Jehoshaphat. There are situations where people will gather against you like this, you look up, you look down you don’t know what else to do. Has it happened before?
-Today, God will fight your battles.
When you don’t know what else to do, that’s the time to praise. Church Gist. Someone like Paul and Silas understood that at that point who would they call on? It was the government that wanted to kill them so who would they call to release them?
When everything is against you, the only answer is what? (Praise). When you don’t know what else to do in life. What do you turn on to? Praise. 2 Chronicles 20:17. I said something in the First Service that when you pray God intervenes, when you praise, God takes the lead. Prayer brings divine backing, praise brings divine leading. Church Gist. He leads you, He takes the lead. Which one is greater? (Praise). That’s all! When the fight is fierce! I have experienced it in my life where the gang-up against me was thick – from the occult world, from ministers, from journalists. If you see the gang-up! And the only answer at that time was praise. I shut the door nobody knew and I began to praise. After praise, the following morning, the battle turned.
-Today, every gang-up against you and I, the battle will turn against them in the precious name of Jesus.
Say with me: I don’t need to fight in this battle, I’m going to give God quality praise.
2 Chronicles 20:17-22. All the nations that came against Jehoshaphat and Judah, after their praise, God brought them down. Church Gist. None of them escaped. All our enemies will not escape. If you believe God’s Word, your Amen confirms it!
2 Chronicles 20:25. The kind of blessing you will have in the next three years you will not recover from them. 2 Chronicles 20:29.
-That shall be the same testimony we will have. After this praise, even those who hate us will be afraid when they hear our names in the precious name of Jesus.
Do you want that kind of praise? Don’t mind what you are going through, minister to God in praise. That was what Paul did, they didn’t mind that they were in prison they ministered to God. How many understand it? Church Gist. Maybe you came this morning, no food to eat. What do you do now? Minister to God in praise. Maybe you came confused, battered, shattered, beaten down with the battles of life. What do you do now? Then minister to God in praise. Then God will turn your story around.
Say with me: I will minister to the Lord in praise and I will see God manifest. Amen!
Our focus for this Second Service is: Praise God for Salvation of souls in Salvation Ministries. Then, praise for divine protection and safety for God’s servant, his family and loved ones and then three, praise God for the speedy manifestation of your desires and goals. Church Gist. What’s your desire? For God to manifest them speedily. Don’t focus on what you’re going through. Praise does not focus on the happenings, it focuses on your desire. Are you getting me now? You don’t focus on what you’re going through, focus on what you want in life. Is that true? Are you getting me? Stop focusing on what you are going through, focus on what you want to have. You focus on the efficacy of His Word.
