Thank You Jesus! Blessed be Your Name! Shall we lift up our two hands and give Him thanks for answers to prayers this morning! Give Him thanks for those amazing acts this morning! Give Him thanks for confirming His Word over and again! Church Gist. Celebrate and magnify Him! Would you thank Him for answering your prayers! Thank Him for the help that you have received this morning! In Jesus’ Precious Name, we have given thanks!
Lord Jesus! Thank You for bringing us at last to this first day of the 21 day prayer and fasting for the year 2023. Let it be a mountain of transfiguration indeed for every member of the Winners family. Let every participant have a story to tell. Take all the glory in Jesus’ Precious Name!
For the redeemed, our prayers are ordained for answers from the Lord. Ask! You shall receive! Seek, you shall find… Matthew 7:7-8. Church Gist. No guesswork! And how much more shall God give good things to those that ask Him Matthew 7:11. Our prayers are ordained for answers in the Kingdom.
We serve a prayer answering God! Elijah was making a boast of this God and the God that answered by fire, let Him be the Lord! And He did! Whatever we ask, believing, God is committed to answering! Matthew 21:22, Mark 11:24. What you do not have in most cases is what you have not asked. Church Gist. And in case you have asked, you have asked wrongly or amiss James 4:2-3.
Our exhortation for this first week of this prayer and fasting at the Covenant Hour of Prayer is captioned: ‘PRAYING TO GET RESULTS’! The value of prayer is not in the number of days but in the results obtained- Praying to get results! We need to have a very clear required access to the realm of prayers that gets results. Sin is behind the connectivity of believers in prayers but forgiveness is the gateway to answered prayers! Church Gist. No assumptions! The Hand of the Lord is not short that it cannot save… Isaiah 59:1-2.
There was a man by name David, he committed some grievous sins- He committed adultery and murder at the same time! But he came out of it. How? If I hide iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me Psalms 66:18. But now God has heard me… Psalms 66:19. Something happened in between the two verses! They call it repentance! It’s not just saying, ‘I am sorry, it’s turning from it’! Proverbs 1:23. You don’t turn? You have not repented! Church Gist. I’m sorry, therefore I turn!
We saw the turning point of David in Psalms 51:10-12. One interesting thing about our God is that when we turn, He returns back to us! When we turn, He restores! Ezekiel 18:20-22. Everytime repentance is genuine which is validated by a turning from what He tells you to know, He writes off the past as if they never happened! Church Gist. What a free offer! Whatever you know that is standing between you and God right now, it is wisdom to demand forgiveness through genuine repentance and then to take responsibility and turn away from it and God will write it off! This is very crucial for a takeoff! No assumptions!
For Proverbs 28:13, He that covereth his sin shall not prosper… You cover it, it blocks access to everything that God has in stock! You confess and forsake, mercy comes to write them off!
-No one’s labour in this awesome season shall be wasted! Your labour on the prayer altar shall not be wasted!
God is no respecter of persons! The altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment! The Bible says in Luke 5:37-38, And no man putteth new wine into old bottles… Without a writing off of those things that God detest, no one is entitled to new wine and fresh oil! Church Gist. And the essence of praying and fasting is for the empowerment of the saints. So access to new anointing is blocked! Access to fresh oil is blocked!
Remember again in Proverbs 1:23, Turn ye at my reproof and I will pour my Spirit upon you… Church Gist. Turn first, I can’t empower you until you turn! Then I will pour my Spirit unto you and then I will make my Words known unto you! Turn first! Very important! Remember the Bible says, Unto you is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom but to those that are without, all these things are in parables, they can’t catch it! Mark 4:11.
Who are the ones without? Revelation 22:15, Without are the dogs! Who are dogs? Those who return back to their vomit! 2 Peter 2:22. When there is no genuine turning, you have no access to revelation and among the blessings of prayer and fasting is the outbreak of revelation! Church Gist. That’s why the barrier has to be removed so that our labour will not be in vain!
There are people who have never heard God speak to them from His Word in their life because the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to Him neither can He know Him because they can only be spiritually accessed! Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:14. So the things of God are not for ‘Jack and Harry’, they are foolishness to him! The secret of the Lord is for those that fear Him… Psalm 25:14.
So it takes sustainable fear of God to flow in revelation! That’s why this barrier must be cleared otherwise with the barriers in there, no access to empowerment! No access to revelation! Because sound health thrives on revelation! Proverb 4:21-22. Church Gist. It’s the Word that makes whole, it’s the Word that keeps healthy! So we are robbing ourselves of too many things by just mouth confession without corresponding action!
May everything that God hates in anyone’s life become real to us and move us to the point of turning around! To the point of turning our back on those things in the Name of Jesus Christ! Where repentance is genuine it leads to a turning point where you turn your back on those things!
-No one’s prayer will be wasted this time!
Lift your hands everybody and give thanks to God! Shall we all rise! In one minute, whatever stands as a barrier between you and me Jesus! I repent of them! I turn my back on them! I want to have a new beginning! I must not miss your agenda for me during this time! Church Gist. This God is not a respecter of persons! Zechariah 7:13.
Jesus! Forgive me and I turn my back on those things forever by your grace! In Jesus’ Precious Name we have prayed!
I heard God say to me at dawn this morning, if any member of the Winners family will make this year his or her own Isaac order of year in terms of Spiritual investment! Church Gist. I’ll turn such individuals to the envy of their world! What that means is this, many individuals will rise this year that will baffle others who are not engaging! If you are one of them, let me hear your loudest Amen!
And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year Genesis 26:12-14. Many Kingdom envies will rise from our platforms this year! Beginning from this fasting season! Strange works and strange acts of God changing people’s story, supernaturally, dramatically will start happening from now!
Therefore, get dedicated to praying Kingdom advancement prayers in setting the stage for your Kingdom dreams for the year! And watch how that comes to be! Amen! It’s a fresh work from the Lord and it’s for you! And don’t forget, your preparation is vital to the outcome of this event! Church Gist. Don’t pray casual prayers, document your prayers, expect to have them and watch how the outcome will be!
On this first day of this 21 days praying and fasting of 2023, expect your change of story! These 21 days will be the most memorable season of your life in the Name of Jesus! Church Gist. Lift up your two hands and commit your day to God! Ask Him to help you to follow!
Plan time of prayer, plan time of searching the Word! Take help from Heaven everybody!
