TURNAROUNDS ARE NOT ACCIDENTAL, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LUCK IN THE KINGDOM.
YOU CANNOT COMPLETE YOUR OBEDIENCE AND NOT COMMENCE YOUR TESTIMONY!
YOUR SACRIFICE DOES NOT BENEFIT GOD, IT BENEFITS YOU.

Our Father, we have come before You this morning to give glory and praise unto Your name. We celebrate You because You have done all things well. Thank You Father for the awesome testimonies that we have heard, they are Your doings and they are marvellous in our eyes. For the answers to our prayers, we say Thank You. Now our eyes are on You this morning, by Your Word, let every one of our lives be changed. We give You the praise and glory, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Our line of exhortations, in our Covenant Hour of Prayer all through this week has been:
EVERY COMMANDMENT OF SCRIPTURES IS FOR OUR PROFITING
2 Timothy 3:16
Who is it that profits from the provisions of scriptures? It is those who are obeying in faith that enjoy the profit of scriptures.
John 2:5, 11 – As they obeyed Him, they secured the manifestation of the miraculous. It is important for us to understand that the profit of any scriptural provision is reserved for those that obey in faith.
Numbers 32:11-12
They (Caleb and Joshua) completed the test of obedience and as a result of that, the profit of the promise was made available to them. We must remember that according to scriptures, God is not a Father Christmas God but a covenant keeping Father. Church Gist. That means, it is when the terms of any provision of scriptures is met that you and I can then begin to enjoy the promise and the testimonies we heard today are vey instructive.
The first person had been waiting upon the Lord for the fruit of the womb for 4 years and had gone through various seasons of engagement. But according to her, she said, “I will go out and share a few fliers and come back without any result to show”: the obedience was not complete, so the testimony could not manifest. But suddenly she heard the word, “If you will ensure that you engage.” She dived out because she heard your fruitfulness is in this thing. And the one who didn’t have one soul before had 200 souls to present and suddenly barrenness terminated.
Why? Because the obedience was perfected. You can’t complete your obedience and not commence your testimony!
-For somebody this morning, I see your obedience complete and your testimony commence.
We began to look at several commandments of scriptures that we see as God instructs and we see the outcome of it profiting man and man alone. God benefits nothing from our obedience, it is you and I that does.
We look this morning at one commandment and that is the Altar of Sacrifice Commandment.
THE ALTAR OF SACRIFICE COMMANDMENT
We look at 4 of the benefits of engaging the altar of sacrifice. God has nothing to gain from your sacrifice and my sacrifice, it is you and I that have something to gain. Let’s look at 4 of the provisions of those that obey the commandment of sacrifice.
- The altar of sacrifice is the altar of supernatural turnaround.
Psalm 126:1-6
What is the trigger for that turnaround? They that sow in tears, shall reap in joy – Psalm 126:5-6
Precious seed – sacrifice
Clearly according to the Word of God, when sacrifice is engaged, turnaround is triggered.
Psalm 50:5 – Sacrifice is a spiritual trigger for provoking supernatural turnarounds. Turnarounds are not accidental, there is no such thing as luck in the Kingdom. Church Gist. It is engaging the key of sacrifice that provokes supernatural turnaround.
-For somebody, I see turnaround answering for you in the name of Jesus. - The altar of sacrifice averts curses.
Genesis 8:20-22
The sacrifice provoked an aversion of curses. That is the power of sacrifice.
2 Samuel 24:16 – By sacrifice, the curse was averted.
Every time we engage the altar of sacrifice, we must understand that among the provisions of sacrifice is the aversion of curses. It has the capacity to terminate cycles of negative occurrences, it breaks because the altar of sacrifice covenants God to stand and stay the hand of whatever is inflicting the curse. The altar of sacrifice averts curses. - The altar of sacrifice provides a platform for encounters with sworn blessings.
Genesis 22:2-4,16-18
God turned the blessing into a sworn blessing, “By Myself have I sworn” – Genesis 22:16
Sacrifice ushered him into the realm of a sworn blessing. Church Gist. A sworn blessing is an unshakable one and by that blessing till tomorrow, we hear of the blessing of Abraham speaking upon the earth by the mystery of sacrifice.
1 Kings 3:3-13
Solomon: The kind of blessings that will be incomparable came; it came by the altar of sacrifice. - The altar of sacrifice opens believers to realms of supernatural supplies.
1 Kings 17:8, 10
The Widow of Zarephath: By sacrificing that which was limited, she entered into unlimited blessing. By reason of that, she was feeding fat with her household in the midst of famine.
Philippians 4:15-19 – we are made to understand that it is this engagement that triggers the supply of all our needs.
How? By engaging this mystery of sacrifice.
-For somebody here, I see divine provisions and supplies answering as you engage consciously in the mystery of sacrifice.
Therefore, all we must understand this morning is that your sacrifice does not benefit God, it benefits you.
-You will not miss out on the blessing of sacrifice again.
Prayers: I receive grace O Lord, to keep engaging with every commandment, with the consciousness that the profit is to me. I receive grace.
Take that grace from God this morning. Thank You Lord Jesus, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
