Glory to God!
I want to deeply appreciate God for this privilege to be here, there are few places that you ask me to come that I will come, I don’t go to any place because of what they will give to me, I go to a place because of the heart I have because there is nothing anybody will give me that I can’t afford. So, it’s not in the money, which offering will somebody give me that will increase me. So, I go to places because of the heart and love and I’m here for that.
Father, we thank you for tonight, let Jesus alone be glorified, give each one a Word, whether in Church or online, let each one have a specific word from you and no matter what I say, they will hear from you, Spirit of the living God breath your breathe upon the Word of Life and I vow to give you every glory, in Jesus mighty name.
Give him a big hand and you may be seated.
Funny enough, when I was coming from Port Harcourt it rained up to Ughelli, it was like they opened the Heaven for rain but when we got to Ughelli, the rain stopped, I said you people prayed today that rain should not fall. Amen! We were running at 40km/hr, very slow because the rain was heavy. We got to the hotel and we just came straight without any delay. But I am sure somebody will be blessed. ChurchGist. NO LAND IS DIFFICULT. When he gave me the topic, I was smiling but the Sub Topic is: BREAKING THE FORCE OF LIMITATION.
He was talking as though we had a previous discussion on the mind. In the Kingdom, no land is difficult to possess, how you see it will determine how you’ll get it. Your life is controlled from your mind, if you win your mind, you will win a life and ministry, if you lose in your mind, you will lose in life. Numbers 13:27-33. As Bible students they were sent to go and spy the land, 10 saw the land very difficult and 2 saw that it was possible, that someone else is finding it difficult to excel in the same field does not mean you will experience the same thing. So, it’s your mentality that determines the level of dominion you’ll command and today in the name of Jesus Christ whatever land you thought was difficult, you will subdue it after now. ChurchGist. Proverbs 23:7. So, you’re what you think, let them preach any message from now till tomorrow, if you think Warri is a hard place you can’t succeed even if they give you all it takes. ChurchGist. So, your advancement is a function of your thinking.
You can’t have a negative mentality and have a positive result. Stop casting blames, oh, If not for the government the ministry would have been wonderful, if not for my wife, if not for my husband, if not for all the people of Warri and all the people where you are, if not for the environment where you are, refuse to limit yourself. No man can take over any land until limitation is broken.
WHAT IS LIMITATION?
Limitation is an act of being limited as a result of being weak, restricted, handicapped or lack of capacity that hinders one to achieve his or her desired goals, as far as God is concerned, we don’t have any limit. Genesis 13:14-15. God said to Abraham: From where thou art, look up. So, from where you are right now, with three members, four members, from that point, look up, as far as you see, as far as your mind can grasp, it is for you. So, the elasticity is not determined by God, it is determined by you. God is saying I don’t have a problem making you whoever you want to be but as far as you mind can grasp it is yours. Proverbs 4:18. So, as far as God is concerned there is no where you can be limited as far as you want to break out, you’ll break out.
The things that limit us most times are invisible, because the invisible controls the visible, it is what you have on the inside that determines the outcome on the outside, inputs determine the output, God has not put any limitation on you, so don’t put any limitation on yourself.
-I pray from today you will not limit yourself.
Your situation or challenge is not an excuse, make every adversity an advantage, turn every problem into a miracle, if there was no H.I.V, I wouldn’t have entered into the healing ministry. It was HIV that turned me into a high-level healing minister. ChurchGist. So, every problem is a miracle for someone to excel, change every denial to opportunities, you might have experienced several challenges, lost opportunities or been rejected but learn from the stories I am about to tell you, so that you don’t limit yourself.
I will tell you life stories because ministry and life are all the same, principles are universal.
A young man called Albert Einstein was one of the greatest physicists of all time, known for developing the theory of relativity and the law of photoelectric effect, he was not able to speak till age 4 and could not read till age 7, yet he never gave up, his name is now synonymous to genius, he received the 1921 Nobel prize in physics, he couldn’t talk till age 4, he couldn’t read till age 7 but he took his world by storm.
Another man called Alan David Sanders, he was an American businessman, the owner of Kentucky fried chicken (KFC) he was rejected 1009 times before he finally got that fried chicken to taste right. ChurchGist. Another example is Stephen King, he is one of the greatest writers in the world, before he came into limelight, he submitted his first novel carrier 30 times and it was rejected for 30 times too, he never gave you and he made it at the 31st time, he has written over 60 novels that is rated one of the top best sellers.
Another person is David Ibiyeomie. The first speech I gave in a Bible school was as though I don’t know my left from my right. That was the first time I will ever stand to address people, nobody clapped because I didn’t know what to say. ChurchGist. The first time I ever preached in a Pentecostal Church, a message given to me for 1 hour, in 10 minutes I was done because I didn’t know what to preach but I didn’t give up, today I am listened to in the entire world, what are you passing through that someone has not gone through, no place is difficult and no profession is difficult including a pastoral work and after this day somebody will break grounds and take over.
FACTORS THAT LIMIT PEOPLE.
One of these factors must be the reason you are limiting yourself; I will not just tell you the factors, I will also tell you the solutions. Everybody limiting himself falls into one of these categories that I am going to mention.
- BACKGROUND.
The background I came from is why I am not succeeding in the ministry. If any man be in Christ, he’s a new creature. 2nd Corinthians 5:17. So, if you’re in Christ, you’re a new creature, your background is no more an issue, the background you have is different, don’t put your back on the ground.
- GENDER FACTOR
It’s a man’s world. I wish I was a man; I would have succeeded so much in ministry and in life, you know women say that more than men. Galatians 3:28. Where did you see that women are number two? We are all one, whatever a man can do in ministry a woman can do it. So, that cancels your philosophy of I am a woman.
- RACIAL FACTOR
You know the reason why I am not succeeding is because I am a black man. I wish I were a white man, there is no white, there is no black, God is not a racist. Romans 10:12. There is no difference between the white and black we are all the same. Acts 10:34-35. No excuse, hello! So, why are you saying that you wish you were an American, you would have succeeded, it’s a lie? ChurchGist. There are poor Americans. Whites listen to me, pure whites, God is not a racist and there is no white man, I have told you before and there is no black man, it’s a misplacement of English. Is there any man as white as a handkerchief? Is there anyone as black and a mic hand? So, it’s a wrong English, I don’t care the English you studied, you thought us in English what is white and on earth there is no mortal man like a handkerchief and on earth including me there is nobody as black as a microphone hand, if you’re as black as that, it’s only your teeth that will be visible. So, God is not a racist.
- EDUCATIONAL FACTOR.
I wish I went to school but salvation is superior to education. Smith Wigglesworth was a plumber and he took his world by storm. ChurchGist. The Bible says we have the mind of Christ. 1st Corinthians 2:16b. So, if you’re born again, you have a new mind, so you can take your world by storm, if for one reason or the other you couldn’t go to school, that shouldn’t limit you. No! You should even be able to teach yourself how to read and write. That is no excuse for you, today we have private tutors who can teach you how to read and write.
- ENVIRONMENTAL FACTOR.
The negative words you hear, the people you relate with, the environment, just like Warri, mind the company you keep in Warri, you don’t need things to worry you. ChurchGist. Iron sharpeneth iron, there are some people who will say: No! Warri is a different place. I will tell you a life story, our Church is in a place called Effurun, when we took that place, somebody called me, he said sir why will you put Church there? I said we planted a church there to change the place, he said that place is known for crime, I said that is the reason why a church should be there, because if the Church is not there, crimes won’t stop.
In Port Harcourt we planted a Church in the most notorious place in the city, where if you go there, police will not come, we planted a Church there and we subdued that place, today people walk freely at midnight, So, if everybody run from Effurun, how will the gospel get there. You see mentality and perspective in action. ChurchGist. Our Church is full and we have overflow at Effurun yet some people ran from that place. You see your mindset and I am not in Warri. When you follow Warri people you may worry about your life, please agree with the Word of God. Iron sharpeneth iron, a wood will never sharpen an iron. Mind the company you keep. If you walk with the scared, you will be fearful, if you walk with problem conscious people, you will keep talking about problems. Have you not heard people say it is not possible to make it in this Country? Where are we making it? Our mentors, his grandfather, where is he making it? Where am I making it? Where is Kk making it? Okay!
You know you can’t make it in Warri, forget, no, all the oil companies have left. ChurchGist. Before I went to Port Harcourt, they said you can’t make it, today they say that it is one of the richest places. You know why? You saw raw wealth ahead. Boy, change your perspective, no crown is difficult only that people’s heart is difficult to accept the truth. Acts 10:34-35. Take me today to the poorest part of Delta state, I don’t know where is the poorest, maybe the riverine areas where they don’t have amenities and leave me there for six months, I will reproduce everything there again, keep me inside the forest, those Delta water areas, I will reproduce everything they have in Port Harcourt in 6 months. Give me only the Bible and let there be people, if there are no people, they will come to look for me because Jesus Christ was in the wilderness and they came there to look for him.
- PHYSICAL DISABILITY FACTOR.
People say you know I would have made it but I am a bit disabled, oh my God, all these things are the things that limit people, it’s only a mad man that is actually disable, every other person you’re not disable. ChurchGist. In census they count people on wheelchairs but they don’t count a mad person, a mad man is complete but yet they don’t count him but they count people on wheelchairs as citizens. We all know the story of Nicks, he is a man of God who speaks everywhere, without legs and hands, born that way, so what is your own excuse.
Helen Keller was blind from childhood after a disease and she said blind minds are worse than blind eyes. Franklin D Roosevelt became the President of the United States on a wheelchair and became the only president that ruled four times. ChurchGist. He was in a wheelchair when he became the President. He had polio, so you don’t have excuse in case you’re using crutches, you now say I would have been a great preacher, these crutches are limiting me, it’s a lie, your mind is what is limiting you.
- ILLEGITIMATE FACTOR
I was born out of wedlock, your parent made mistake but you’re not a mistake or a biological accident, Solomon was a child out of wedlock, Jephthah in Judges 11 was a child of a harlot, I wish my parents got married, I would have been a great man it’s a lie, those are not excuses, they can’t limit you if you want to succeed.
- I DON’T HAVE SYNDROME
I wish I had money, it’s a lie, if there was money this Ministry would have been wonderful, it’s a lie. It’s because we don’t have that is why ministry is not moving the way it should move, it’s a lie. ChurchGist. The entire world was not founded with money, it was founded with wisdom. Psalm 104:24. I didn’t go to Port Harcourt with money, I went with Wisdom. When we got to Port Harcourt after we paid rent there was no money left, do every other money was generated from Port Harcourt, not from outsides, I have given money to Americans, my money not Church money, I have given my money to Americans in dollars, in their own currency, not naira.
- I command whatever that is limiting your mind to lose his grip on you right now.
TOOLS FOR BREAKING LIMITATION.
- MIND RENEWAL
Romans 12:2. God cannot renew your mind for you, they don’t pray for mind renewal, you have to renew it. So, if you want to get God kind of results your kind must be renewed. After Salvation the major assignment is to renew your mind. ChurchGist. Mind renewal makes you see possibility inside every impossibility, it makes you possess a possibility mentality that nothing can intimidate you, possibility mentality brings you to the realm that I can do all things. Philippians 4:13. From this day nothing will stop you anymore.
So, your mentality will determine the level of success you will attain in any land. 2nd Timothy 1:7. Sound mind means to be able to coordinate and be balanced in every phase of life. Your mentality determines how doors are opened to you, possess a possibility mentality that all things are achievable. Whatever is conceivable is achievable. There is a solution to every problem whether personal, social, economic or any other. ChurchGist. People close their gates in Warri by 6:30 – 7:00pm everybody is afraid, get up and begin to do things that will make the criminals die one after the other and check if that church will not explode. If criminality does not stop in Warri, I stand as a man of God to decree and by the time top 5 notorious people have died, the whole Church will explode because everybody is living in fear. So, it’s an opportunity for a man of God to break loose.
There was fear in Port Harcourt when militancy was at the highest peak and I came up and I said stop this nonsense, it’s not accepted, you can’t say you’re delivering your people and you’re killing them and those who said no began to die one after the other. The rest began to give their lives to Jesus, most of the notorious boys are members of our Church, the Church exploded. So, every problem is to lift you. Solution finding is what sets the mind to work. So, when there is a problem begin to rack your brain for solutions. ChurchGist. Nothing limits the mind like doubt, unbelief and fear. See all problems as natural and address them from the supernatural and you’ll overcome them.
Please you’re not a chicken you’re an eagle. So, carry an eagle mentality of your desire to succeed. But carry an eagle mentality if you desire to succeed but now the question is do you really want to succeed? Do you really want to take over that land?
Then change the way you think, change in the right direction is the starting point for every success. ChurchGist. If you don’t believe you need to change then don’t expect to take charge. A wise man said doing the same thing and expecting a different result is another definition of insanity and stubbornness and unwillingness to change is the energy of fools.
You can’t change any system, situation unless you’re willing to change yourself, any want to change churches, they want to change their spouse, they want to change location, yet they don’t want to change themselves. ChurchGist. My problem is my wife, your problem is you. The problem I have is Warri where we are, the problem is not Warri, it’s you.
Until you change nothing can change, when you change everything will change, refusing to change will make you remain in chains, God forbid!
But when you change you take charge and when you take charge, you’ll enlarge and break grounds, change strives on the platform of adhering to instructions. Every failure is a function of an ignored instruction. So, to succeed you must obey instructions. 2nd Timothy 3. People don’t like instructions but 75 per cent of the Bible is instructions, we like the doctrine but when it comes to reproof, we don’t like it, reprove is a form of instruction, correction is also a form of instruction. People don’t like instruction, if you want a miracle God will give you an instruction. ChurchGist. They said they want water, Jesus said fetch water (instruction). You want to get healed, go and wash your eyes in the water, you want Lazarus to come out, take away the stone. Every time you ask God for a miracle, first and foremost ask him for an instruction but we don’t want instruction we want the miracle we don’t want instruction we want the product; we want the bread we don’t want to go to the oven.
You can’t obey instructions if you’re not willing to change, change for the better carries the cost and change is initiated.
