MONEY AND RICHES CAN COME FROM ANY SOURCE.
DIRECTION IS THE ESCAPE ROUTE FROM DESTRUCTION. DIRECTION AVERTS DESTRUCTION AND DISASTER.
SOME PEOPLE HAVE BECOME VICTIMS OF DISASTER DUE TO LACK OF DIRECTION.
IF GOD HAS MADE YOU, NO devil CAN UNMAKE YOU, NO witch CAN HARM YOU.
IF GOD HAS RAISED YOU, NO occultic power CAN ERASE YOU.
COVENANT IS A TRIPOD STAND; NOTHING COMES BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD; NOTHING TAKES THE PLACE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE AND NOTHING IS TOO BIG TO GIVE UP FOR GOD.
ANY BIGNESS THAT MAKES YOU TOO BIG TO SERVE GOD IS NOT A SCRIPTURAL BIGNESS.

Welcome you to the blessing Sunday of the month of October and I’m speaking very quickly on the subject: THE CONTENT OF THE BLESSING OF GOD.
Our objective is to understand what the blessing of God contains. Proverbs 10:22.
What does the blessing of God contain?
It is clear in scripture that the blessing of God in the life of a man is a treasure of non quantifiable worth. It’s a treasure whose worth cannot be quantified, the blessing of the Lord is a loaded package for the enhancement of man’s life and destiny. The blessing of God is beyond money. When we talk about the blessing of God the first thing that comes to people’s mind is riches and wealth, it’s far beyond it. Blessed people can be wealthy but wealthy people are not necessarily blessed. Blessed people can be rich but rich people are not necessarily blessed. ChurchGist. Money and riches can come from any source, the blessing is a package that carries benefits that money can’t buy and offer. Benefits that are far beyond the reach of cash. That blessing was behind the making of people like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It doesn’t matter what you have, if you don’t have the blessing you don’t have much, and it doesn’t matter what you lack, if you have the blessing of God, you have too much.
The question is, what is in the blessing? What does the blessing carry?
- DIVINE PRESENCE.
The presence of God is the privilege of the blessed. Really blessed men and women, when you come around them, you’ll feel God, when you come around them you’ll experience God, when you come around them you’ll sense God. This was the secret of Joseph in Genesis 39:3, 21 Joseph the blessed!
The presence of God is natural with the blessed. It’s possible to have money and carry the presence of the devil. Maybe because of the occultic root of that money, maybe because of the sinful nature of life, but it’s not possible to carry the blessing and lack the presence. ChurchGist. This was David’s secret also, 1st Samuel 18:14. David behaved himself wisely and the Lord was with him. David the blessed was David the carrier of divine presence. He carried the presence of God. ChurchGist. Another example is Job, in Job 29:4-5, Job carried the presence of God as a man who was blessed and the presence of God is the answer to the pressures of life. Psalm 16:11. The presence of God is what is called the anointing; in other words, blessed people are literally anointed people. Why? Because they carry the presence of God.
I see somebody seated here today, that you’re going to move from here with a palpable and tangible dimension of the presence of God like never before in the name of Jesus.
- DIVINE DIRECTION.
This is being guided by God. Divine guidance! What is the business of God with a man who made money his own way, he’s on his own, whatever he gets, he gets it either by intuition or by trial and error or by anything, by experience or by anybody’s advice. ChurchGist. A man/woman who is blessed is divinely guided by God.
Examples
A. Abraham. Genesis 12:1-2. God was talking with Abraham the blessed, the candidate of the blessing, He was giving him direction.
B. Isaac. Genesis 26:1-6.
C. Jacob Genesis 35: 1.
Direction is the escape route from destruction. Direction avert destruction, direction avert disaster, there are people who became victims of disaster for lack of direction. ChurchGist. Direction is the key to distinction, when you’re directed you will stand out, your life is different from others. Direction is key to distinction and direction brings acceleration, you run faster when you see clearer. People are where they are because they don’t know what to do, when you know what to do you leave where you are.
Somebody came to me the other day, he sent me a message, he said he has a presentation to make in one of the largest business platforms in America and he was chosen with other billionaires and millionaires around the world to come and give a talk on a Christian perspective on business and top business people were invited. ChurchGist. Last year Donald Trump and Ben Carson the Neurosurgeon spoke there and this year he was invited to speak there. He said can I just assist him in what to say or to guide him. So, I sat with him and his message was to be within 5 -7 minutes, and within that time frame you can make sense, because if you can’t make sense in 1 minute, you can’t make sense in 1 hour.
When we were done talking, one of the things I told him, I said in Christian business there is a direction perspective, a divine guidance perspective, where God shows you where your portion is, you follow His direction, you locate your possession, he said sir, this one line is enough for me.

The blessing of God grants you direction, you don’t live your life by trial and error, you live your life by accurate direction.
As I speak right now, I’m aware that people are connected from around the world. I prophesy to you today, the direction that will cause you to locate your possession is coming for you right now.
This thing is beyond money, those who are looking for money will keep on mourning, but those who look for God and His blessing, they have a package that money cannot offer.
- DIVINE FAVOUR
The blessings of God carry favour. Favour is the major heritage of the blessed, when a man/woman is blessed, they don’t beg for favour, favour looks for them. ChurchGist. There is something about you that makes you likeable, it makes you attractive, it makes you an attraction.
Examples.
A. Joseph. Genesis 39:2-5, 21. Blessed people don’t struggle for grace, they locate grace and favour.
B. Israel. When Israel was coming out of Egypt, one of the things God loaded them with as the children of the blessed was favour. Exodus 11:3, 12:36.
God Is about to give somebody a favour that will empty the resources of the wicked in a short while. Psalm 44:3. God gave the children of Israel favour and that favour gave them possessions.
C. Daniel. Daniel 1:9. He carried the blessing of God and that blessing of God gave him favour. You know what favour does? Favour gives you the mystery of supernatural exemption, your case is always different. When you carry favour, your case is always different. Favour makes it your turn again when it has not yet gone round once.
Somebody shout favour. I’m not speaking theory, I’m very practical. I’m a victim of unusual favour by the blessings of God on all fronts, in all dimensions, in all realms, and the favour of God is real from the blessing of God. The favour of God gives you resources you don’t deserve; it gives you results beyond your labour. It gives you returns beyond your inputs, that is what made the people of the old become financially wealthy and loaded. ChurchGist. I speak to somebody here, favour is coming your way, by the blessing that is being spoken today, favour is coming your way.
- DIVINE PRESERVATION.
The blessing of God preserves the carrier of the same. You carry the blessing the blessing preserves you. Isaiah 65:8. The wealth of the wicked will always attract enmity, witchcraft and all manners of things, that is why many rich people try to look for some occultic group that can protect them because as you become wealthy and influential, those who want to cut you short are plenty.
Why should he be the one? Why should she be like this? That is why God in His wisdom gives you the provision and then He gives you the protection. He gives you prosperity and gives you security. When you’re a blessed man you become a piece of divine treasure, you become a property that is not wastable. ChurchGist. In the government system, places of high worth command high security, since you were born have you heard that armed robbers went to rob the presidential villa, except those who dreamt that they died and they wanted to go on that endeavour, because it is shoot at sight, you’ll just be wasted for nothing. You will be buried with nobody to know your grave. Or the Central Bank, because where things walk it’s impossible to waylay central banks’ bullion van on the way. Was it a snake or something that ate some money some time ago?
Praise the Lord!
That is why we must allow God to make us because if God has made you, no devil can unmake you, if God has made you, no witch can harm you, if God has raised you, no occultic power can erase you.
I speak to someone here today, every force of hell that is trying to cut you short, today they are cut short.
Examples
A. Abraham. Abimelech wanted to cheat Abraham. Genesis 20:3.
B. Laban. Genesis 21:34. Laban was looking for Jacob’s trouble and God appeared to Laban in a dream and warned him.
C. Joseph. Did you ever know the mystery of why Joseph was considered dead by his brethren? What they did for Joseph, there was no plan for survival, when Joseph met his brethren and he asked them; how many are you? His brethren said; we are eleven children, one is dead. They were talking to Joseph, we are twelve but you’re dead, because they finished the operation. ChurchGist. It is like someone who went for assassination and they thought they have killed the target.
One man testified here from one of the States in Nigeria where they tried to kill him and they realized that he was alive, his intestines were out for about 10 hours. ChurchGist. I’m sure you remember the testimony, until he recognized his killer in front of the police. Genesis 37:27-28. Where blood is shed, yours will never be shed, those who are waiting to celebrate your death, they will wait until they themselves die. By the blessing of the Lord, you shall not be cut short before your time.
- DIVINE HEALTH AND VITALITY
The blessing makes for health, it makes for vitality. God’s wealth comes with health, the wealth of the world may come with affliction, some of the affliction can be very expensive. But God’s wealth comes with wealth. Proverbs 10:22. Genesis 25:8. Abraham lived and died in a good old age, the same as Isaac, Genesis 35:29. The same with Joseph, Genesis 50:26. Everyone under the sound of my voice, that is a victim of any trace of any disease in your body, this month, this day it is arrested.
Say with me, I’m too blessed to be afflicted, I reject every trace of affliction in my body, I reject disease, I reject it now.
This month is our month of overflowing grace and glory for liberty, vitality and health. The meaning of that is anything that chained your life and destiny, this month the chain shall scatter in the name of Jesus. Every inherited or generational affliction this month, it shall be broken.
This is what the blessing of God does for you, in your 80s you are moving in strength. God servant, Pastor W F Kumuyi is 81 years old, he’s moving about in all manner of crusades with all energy, Pastor Adeboye is 80, Kenneth Copeland is about 86, he’s still flying his aircraft up till today, Gloria Copeland is about 80, she looks like 18. These people are the symbol of the blessed and you are 25 and you’re looking so old, today is the end of such life, such affliction and challenge.

- DIVINE PEACE AND JOY.
Proverbs 10:22. Joseph was a man who operated with joy and peace. Genesis 40, he was so at peace that he was telling other prisoners that why will they be sorrowful, why are you sorrowful? We are all in prison, why are you looking like this? Genesis 40:5-6. A prisoner asking another prisoner why are you sad? That means he was not sad, he was full of Joy, he carried something that forbade sadness, your life can carry permanent sunshine by the blessing. ChurchGist. Everybody around you is just lively and joyful, you’re a joy tonic, an irrigator of excitement.

One billionaire was seated and talking with a brother and that brother just dozed off, while they were talking, he said, you can sleep as easily as that. ChurchGist. He said; no matter how he tries he can’t sleep more than two hours in the night, no sleep! Billions without sleep. What sort of miserable billions are those. 1st Kings 5:4. Solomon the trillionaire, quadrillionaire in his days, he said but now the Lord has given me rest on every side, I’m at peace, nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing lacking. This is what the blessing is all about, you’re cool, you’re calm, you’re stable. ChurchGist. When you’re blessed everything around you enjoys it because you’re at rest. How many of you know that when you’re stressed, everything around you is under pressure. Today, I announce to someone whatever that has put your joy under pressure, that thing is under arrest now. I speak peace and I speak rest.
- FOR SUPERNATURAL CAPTIVITY TURN AROUND.
The blessing of the Lord is key to the turnaround of captivity.
Examples
A. Abraham. He was in a family where everybody was in chains, living without succeeding, dying without accomplishing anything, that was what Abraham family’s portion until Jehovah came in Genesis 12:1-3. He shifted Abraham, broke the captivity and turned it around.
B. Job. Job 42:10. The Lord blessed the end of Job; He blessed him immensely. The same way light and darkness cannot coexist, blessings and curses can’t coexist. They are mutually exclusive, diametrically opposed, the presence of one is the absence of the other, if light is there, darkness has to go; if the blessing is there, the curse has to go, this is the benefit of this blessing Sunday. So, if your father did not bless you, your spiritual father will bless you. So, if anybody curses you, the blessing of your father can reverse the curse and I’m sure you know that the Spiritual is superior to the physical, the spiritual is superior to the natural. ChurchGist. Today, I dare every ancestral curse in your life, I command them to bow now, every generational curse, every family curse, every occultic curse, every work of diabolism, today I decree their end, this season is their end.
Say with me; in the name of Jesus in my life, every captivity is turning now. This is how strong the blessing is, the blessing can make your case different from those of your family members. That is what He did for Abraham, He set him apart. Everybody had this negative identity except Abraham, it can make your case different from everyone in your community, the blessing can take you where nobody from where you came from had ever been and I’m speaking from experience.
How many of you are trusting God for that kind of blessing; lift your voice and say Father, I connect and receive the blessing of the Lord today.
WHAT IS THE WAY OF THE BLESSING?
- THE COVENANT WALK WITH GOD
The covenant walk with God is the way of the blessing. Covenant is commitment with sacrifice. Psalm 50:5. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were covenant partners of God. Like the saying goes, these two people are so close that a needle can’t pass between them, that is covenant with God, where nothing comes between you and your God, where nothing takes the place of God in your life and where nothing is too big to give up for God. ChurchGist. It’s like a tripod stand, nothing comes between you and your God; nothing takes the place of God in your life and nothing is too big to give up for God, it is called a covenant.
Anybody who knows you, both those who love you and those who hate you, they all are in agreement that the most important person in your life is God. That the most important thing that can be said about you is that you belong to God. The Bible says the God of Abraham, also the Abraham of God. You and God are just like that. Talking of tithe is kindergarten level, you’ve passed tithe level since, that walk of covenant will take you into a realm that the wealthy people and people of positions in the earth can’t access.
One man sat in the first class of an aircraft and his friend sat with him and he meet somebody that he saw on the aircraft and he told the men and he said I want to tell you something, he said; in all likelihood whatever you have I have but I want to tell you of something I have that you may not have, it’s Jesus, relationship with God, connection to God.
- OBEDIENCE TO DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2. God said it; you did it. God asked to move and you moved. Obedience is the way to the blessing. Psalm 68:6. The rebellious will always dwell in the dry land. If there is dryness around you, it is possible there is an instruction you’re negotiating, something God said to do that you’re not doing.
- KINGDOM SERVICE.
Exodus 23:25. Serve in the house, serve on evangelism, on the road serve God. One young man brought me the news of what God is doing in his life, it was massive. What is his duty in Church? A faithful toilet cleaner, he’s there all the time, we are not talking about a job of 1 or 2 million naira, we are talking in dollars and euros. ChurchGist. One man that I know, the last time he brought his documents for me to pray for him, it was a 126-billion-naira job that he was to do, he was mobilized with over 50 per cent, he was a faithful usher in his Church, the wife was a faithful Choir member. Any bigness that makes you too big to serve God is not a scriptural bigness. Abraham was called Abraham my servant, Moses my servant, David my servant. All these big people in the Bible, they were actively serving. ChurchGist. Serve in the house, serve in soul winning, your friends are pulled to God, you’re speaking to business associates and then you’ll get blessed by God and step into a realm of resources, no devil can pull you down. Till today, if I’m moving in the premises and I see dirt, I have to stop most times to pick it. I have refused to be the boss. If I’m the boss I wouldn’t be fasting or doing anything anymore, but I’m fasting now more than I fasted 20 years ago.
Prayers.
- Father, I have come before you today, I receive your help and your mercy to walk in the covenant with you. I receive that grace today to walk in the covenant of the supernatural blessing of God, I receive that grace right now in the name of Jesus.
- Father, help me to obey your Divine Instructions, if there is any instruction that I am not obeying, open my eyes to see it so that I can obey it completely and totally Lord in Jesus’ name.
-Father, I receive the grace to be committed, dedicated and faithful to Kingdom service; help me Lord to serve you dedicatedly in Your work and assignment, in the house and in soul winning; I receive that grace now in Jesus’ name.
-Father, we receive the release of your blessing on our Nation Nigeria and deliver us from every curse of darkness, oppression, bloodshed, backwardness, stagnation and banditry; we receive the release of your blessing on our Nation Nigeria now in Jesus’ name.
- Father, I ask that you make a visible representative of your goodness and blessing to my generation; use me to show the world that you are a good God in Jesus’ name.
