The Lord sent a Word to Jacob and it just turned his life around. I was in a conference of small small people in 1970 when I was 16 years old and I heard the Word, ‘God is not slow’!- What a timely Word! So I got cured of the hurry that brings men to horror very early in life 2 Peter 3:9. Church Gist. It was in an Easter period like this when I encountered that Word, ‘God is not slow’! We live in a very fast age, but God is not slow! It may appear slow but it is very sure. One Word settled my life against the traps ahead.
Some are carrying cocaine today and jumping from one nation to another because God is too slow for them. I can’t ask you if I am right or not, they leave their lives to chance. Church Gist. You don’t have a chance to do that, we live in a world of order, you must be in order to secure a future. One Word brought me a baptism of patience which is the hallmark of all men of faith who through faith and patience inherited the promises.
-You are taking something out of here tonight that you will refer back to in 50 years to come if Jesus tarries!
Listen! You can’t raise yourself! Can you imagine a baby boy looking after himself? No! But from here, Jesus will set you on the highway of life through all the sessions that we shall be having here.
-Father Lord, I pray that you will reach out to everyone of us in a new way in the Name of Jesus!
The Theme as mentioned just now in that expectation segment is, ‘A CHOSEN GENERATION’! The Endtime is characterised by certain major features and please note that the last days started on the day of Pentecost, so there is nothing that is about the Last days that should scare anybody but we are racing very close to the end of time of the Last days Acts 2:14-16. But what are the characteristics of the Endtime which has begun? Church Gist. By way of introduction, every believer is a chosen brand in his or her generation Esther 4:14, 1 Peter 2:9.
The foremost leading institutions in the world were Church founded, the likes of Oxford and Cambridge Universities which are a thousand years plus. The Church was a preaching institution then it began to impact civilization. The golden age of the Church! Church Gist. So we are in the golden age of the Church. ‘Zachariah, what do you see? He said, ‘I see seven golden candlesticks of the Church’ Zechariah 4:2-3, Haggai 2:8. You haven’t seen anything yet, you are moving into the golden era of the Church.
The Endtimes are the reigning days of the Church Psalms 110:1-2. The Church of Christ will have the final say in the world! God’s people taking charge of industries, commerce, education, inventions and agriculture Daniel 7:27. That’s the Endtime agenda and that’s what God is doing across the nations of the world, the Church is taking on strength.
The Endtimes are also the days of fulfilment of Biblical prophecies before the return of Christ Acts 3:20-21. We are in the days of raw fulfillment of prophecies. And every Word of this Book (The Bible) will be fulfilled before He returns. For instance, in Psalms 78:61, we saw a very interesting Word here… He builds His Sanctuaries like High palaces. So you will begin to see ‘Palatial Churches’ growing in their numbers. You think man can do that, it’s an unstoppable agenda! Unstoppable and irresistible! No authority under Heaven can stop it! You know who is building the Palace (The Ark) here? Church Gist. That’s why you are laughing that there is no offering here and there! Is that how to build a place? So He came and built the Faith Tabernacle and everyone rejoiced. He said, ‘Just wait and keep going first, keep following me’! Don’t think The Ark is the last we are going to do! He is not a man, He is God unfolding His Endtime agenda. But most of you hurry out of God’s agenda.
The Last days are the days of great open doors for the redeemed 1 Corinthians 16:9. So He opened the door of Canaanland, a forest of no value, a dungeon of demons yet He opened it. You can’t open a door which you don’t have a key, so why are you disturbing your life? You know, we have this prophetic Psalm in Psalm 87:1-7. So there will be a dangerous rise of men and women, the young ones inclusive. As I saw the choir singing, I saw giants and stars rising. You may travel from nation to nation around the world, that’s not establishment, that travelling (Tourism). If anybody is angry, he should just console himself because he can’t stop it. The Almighty Himself!
It is these prophetic days of the endtime that is our focus in this Youth Alive Conference. Church Gist. Just picking those vital features of the endtime and how to take a strong position not to miss your place. Praise God.
Growing up in those days, we were flying with a lot of Prophets, because Kenneth Hagin’s material and all of that had invaded the land to some extent, and so the Spirit of God was hovering around the land. Church Gist. Among those things is that, I will through these my young people, tear up jealousy. I heard that word, that we look like nothing, but God is saying, “I will stir up jealousy”. Church Gist. When we see jealousy coming, we will say, “yes, He said it and I received it when He said it”. You better pick these Prophetic Words because you’re in it.
You can’t establish yourself, listen, you can’t make yourself. He told Abraham. Genesis 12:2. Church Gist. You can’t make yourself, my friend. “I must make it” How? Didn’t you know He said, “without Me, you can do nothing”? “I must make it”. Make what? What are you making? He said, “follow Me and I will make you. You don’t follow me, you can’t be made”. You can pose but you’re not made. You can shout, that’s not being made. The silence of a giant is heard much more than the noise of a mediocre. Church Gist. You’re quiet, they are scared; you speak, they flee.
- many destinies are being recovered right now!
All those (noise), settle down, let God lead your way.
Among the Prophetic Words for the last days are the days of vision. “Your young men shall see visions”, so, it applies so much to you because you’re in the days of your youth. Church Gist. God wants to unveil His agenda for your life to you, if you’re interested. So, I have captioned this, “The Days of Vision Guided by Revelation”. Visions can be very laughable. If Abram had shared that with anybody, they will say, “well done. At 75, you will be made great and your name great. Okay o. Goodbye”. Church Gist. They can be very laughable. But, what visions do is to define the destination and revelation define the steps towards arriving there. Ecclesiastes 10:15. Psalm 119:105. Church Gist. So, His Word guides us towards realizing His plans in our lives. Again, that’s one thing your generation is missing.
Can I tell you this? The hour has come to liberate the world, but you will be guided step by step towards that delivery. It’s not overnight delivery, it’s a definition of destination. Church Gist. Now, you will be guided to the realization of that destination in phases. “I’m taking you to the Promised land but I will give it to you, little by little and by little” – Exodus 23:29. He didn’t lead them by the way of the wilderness, although that was short. So, it may appear long but it’s sure. Exodus 13:17. (He didn’t lead them by the way) that was short but He led them by the way of the red sea. What a risk. Church Gist. He said, “you don’t see what I see. I see battles waiting for you there that will make you to turn back and say, ‘it’s better to die as a slave’. So I want to shut the backdoor against your destiny”. So, He brought them through the red sea and when they saw the red sea open, they said, “now, we know God is taking us somewhere”. Church Gist. So, their confidence came alive, they were crushing every enemy on the way. Exodus 13:17.
Now, watch, the Lord said to me, “the destiny of this age has been committed to your hands”. What a laughable word. With what capacity? What resources? What skill? What background? Leave God alone, He knows what He’s saying. Church Gist. But don’t start looking for the age. I mean, keep following step by step, His leadings towards His agenda. When coro came, we seized the devil by the throat, the age was rescued. This was a major rescue centre for the age. Coro saw that he was not popular anymore, he disappeared. Step by step. Church Gist. There’s nothing wrong with your vision, it’s just your approach that is faulty.
I was 23 when the Lord said to me from Jeremiah 29:11 (RSV), “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and for evil, to give you a future and a hope”. Church Gist. 1977, the Lord said to me, “your future is not in your plan, your future is in my plan”. What? So, I began to hunt for His plan with delight.
There is a way that seems right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death. Many have taken some unrecoverable, regrettable steps because they are too proud to check ‘Have I missed it?’ if God says they have missed it, No! What will I say, I am a man of myself. We had a very costly experience at a time. A young man was going to make a trip and he was someone close to me. I said, “How are you going?”. Church Gist. He said I am driving. I said No! And he was a very good driver. He drives so well. I said No but the way he left me, I said come back, whose car are you using? He mentioned the name and I said call him for me. He came and I said that car must not move an inch. He said but I have given him my word. Are your words immutable? He left me, He can’t be controlling me, we are all young people. In two hours, that individual was gone in an accident. The owner of the car trekked for eight years. He lost his brand-new car but what is that compared to a precious life? Church Gist. There are many that won’t just hear, they have ears that don’t hear. How many young people ever ask the Lord today “Am I right?”. They are busy trading skills and talent without direction. Haven’t you heard “by strength shall no man prevail?” haven’t you heard “it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but God that shows mercy” Romans 9:16?
Visionaries shall carry the day in these last days. Men walking in the centre of God’s plan. They will be the signs and the wonders of the end time. Joel 2:1-8. It is a picture of the end time. Generational pacesetters. People that God works through to set certain things that will take generations to come. What is their characteristic? Church Gist. They shall not break their ranks. Men of vision guided by revelation. When God leads you, He goes before you. What does He do? To make all the crooked paths straight. To break in sunder the bars of iron and cut in pieces the gates of brass. He goes before you. When God sends, He goes with you. He sent them two by two to the place where He Himself will come so He goes with you. The Lord went with them confirming His Word. He goes with you. When God sends, He walks with you. Mark 16:20. When God sends, He works through you. Philippians 2:13. So the things they see being done, they think you are the one doing it but He is the one doing it. 1 Thessalonians 5:21. That is why you never compare vision with effort under heaven. You never compare access to divine plans with your plan. Your plan is eternally inferior to His plan. May this conference bring everyone into realms of vision and be guided by revelations.
Every child of God is a child of destiny so you have a set program with God. It is your duty and my duty to check it out. Romans 8:29-30. God has a glorious agenda for all of His children. Your salvation is a product of God’s predestination. You can’t make it. You can’t design your fingerprint. Ephesians 1:3-6. The day you heard the gospel, somebody else heard it and it didn’t move him. Our salvation is a product of God’s predestination. Somebody says why do you go about preaching? To find out who has been ordained unto eternal life. Acts 13:48. To locate those who are ordained for eternal life so they respond. Others say “Get out stupid, we have been ordained for the other side”. Our job is to go harvest those ordained unto eternal life. Church Gist. Jacob and Esau, before they were born God made His choice. So we are vessels of mercy ordained unto glory. Some are vessels of wrath ordained unto destruction. Aren’t you glad you are in God’s predestination agenda? You are a child of destiny, mind His plan for your life. You will be soaring with sweating.
What we call vision is actually a discovery of God’s plan for our lives. Isaiah 55:8. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death. Church Gist. You won’t go the way of death. Never! Never! Never!
Therefore, Proverbs 3:5-6. You need that now, young people. Allow Him to lead you, you never get stranded. So anyone who is interested should now begin to seek God’s plan for his or her life. That is the place of rest in the adventure of life. Being in the centre of God’s plan is your access to the realm of rest. When Jesus is the Captain, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree that is planted by the riverside, I shall not be moved. Those were the songs the missionaries taught us in those days. When Jesus is in your boat, you are at rest. When He is not too slow for you, your peace is in place. Biblically, vision is the cure for frustration. Where there is no vision, the people are stripped naked. Proverbs 29:18. The struggle without end. Church Gist. He that follows the vision happy is he. Walking in the plan of God guarantees joy and rejoicing for in His presence there is fullness of joy. When He goes with you, you will enjoy the fullness of joy. Isaiah 48:21. A gushing in the midst of a desert following His leading.
- No one among you will know frustration.
- you won’t go the way of destruction.
So following God’s plan is the highway to our high places in life. In 1984, the Lord said to me “My son there is a place for you on top if you are interested”. I said I am interested. “Then whatever I tell you to do, do it”. He was speaking to me from Deuteronomy 28:1. Church Gist. If you read that from verses 1 to 13, there is nothing anybody will need under heaven that is not in it. No one here will miss his step.
Beware of mistaking the following for vision:
- The Vogue
What is popular in the hour? Everybody is going in that direction that must be where to go. This is the ‘IN’ thing today. Some of my mates have built estates now. You say how? He says come let us tell you how. If you make it, good. If you don’t make it, goodbye. It is a risk that is worth it. You go and carry drugs. Church Gist. Everybody is going out of the country, Oya let us go. How do we get there? There are many ways of getting there. Don’t mistake the vogue for God’s agenda for your life. You have your life to live. He called Abraham out alone and blessed him. God deals with these people as individuals, not as groups. - Ambition
Which is the most rampant thing today. “I must get it” and he can add ‘by all means’. - Comparison with others is the breeding ground for agitation, bitterness and erratic decisions. The value of any product is determined by the factory and not by the market. Church Gist. So your value is in His original plan for you, not in what we see others do.
As we round up tonight, why do we need vision?
No one knows the future like the one who creates it. Isaiah 46:9-10. He knows the end from the beginning. He knew He was bringing us here but He didn’t bring us here first. You have to go through a long route. He knows the end from the beginning. He is the most dependable one to follow. No one knows tomorrow like the one who creates it. Live with a proven vision, not balloon vision, prove all things and hold that fast which is true. Church Gist. Be watching some very funny TV programs before you go to bed and you just woke up and see yourself as an entertainer who is taking over the entertainment world. You watched somebody singing and doing acrobatics and you found yourself doing that in the dream. You are chasing after the shadows.
Why do we need vision? God will only back up His plan in our lives and not our plans. It is the backing of God that makes front liners. Jesus went about doing good and healing all them that were oppressed of the devil because God was with Him backing Him up. Church Gist. Acts 10:38. Mark 16:20. You never find a front liner in the Kingdom without the backing of the Almighty God. You can’t back yourself.
Jonah went to Tarshish and he left God behind. Their boat began to demonstrate and riot. Jonah cried aloud in the belly of a fish. He prayed the prayer he didn’t pray at home. He just carried his bag and went to Tarshish and found himself in the belly of a fish. Church Gist. God was the one that begged the fish not to eat him. It vomited him and he took off to where God sent him and there was an explosion. Why hang around where you are tolerated, leaving where you are celebrated? Stay in God’s plan it will always end in celebration through open decoration. It is your turn for a change of story.
Biblical Proofs of a True Vision
- Every true vision always alleys fears. Psalm 23:4. When you are following His plans, fear can’t survive. Every true vision drives the visionary, so that he may run that readeth Habakkuk 2:3, Galatians 1:15-16. Every true vision builds confidence in the visionary. When God said, ‘Come here (Canaanland)’! I said even if nobody comes, I will still be here, me and God will be here together because He is the one who told me to come’! It builds confidence in God not in self, capacity, resources or skill Philippians 3:3. Church Gist. When God said He will build this Tabernacle in one year, I have no shekel whatsoever. I never ask Him, ‘God, are you still saying the same thing’? It builds eternal confidence in God. When you start going up and down, you better check it.
- Every true vision guarantees increasing results when pursued 1 Kings 8:15.
- Every true vision comes with the required strength Judges 6:14, Joel 2:1-3.
- Every true vision stirs joy and rejoicing within. These are some Biblical acid tests for ascertaining the pursuit of God’s plan for one’s life. Very important in Psalms 85:6, God’s agenda is accompanied by God’s order of peace and rest, you cannot have God with you and still be apprehensive and anxious, you are settled- His Presence settles you. The peace of God that passes all understanding- Unexplainable peace but undeniable. So when there is no peace, joy and strength to match, check it!
-The good news is that you are in for the best of times!
We are in the days of visions guided by revelation. As I stop now, Paul said, ‘I will come now to visions and revelations of the Lord’! 2 Corinthians 12:1. All giants in the Kingdom are men of visions guided by revelations.
How do I access God’s plans?
- Crave access to the divine plan
That is what secures a future, so mind it. Look before you leap, don’t leap your destiny into danger Habakuk 2:1. So if He doesn’t show you His plans by Himself, make an inquiry, ‘I know that You have a plan for me Jesus, so what’s Your plan for me’? Church Gist. Be spiritual! 1 Corinthians 2:14. Beware of chats that don’t make anything, leading to spiritual leakages everywhere! Walk in the Spirit, He can talk to you at any time- In the morning, afternoon, bathroom and anytime or even while dressing up. Be a man or woman of the Spirit! You can’t hear the voice of the Spirit without being in the Spirit, no guesswork! Revelation 1:10, Galatians 5:25.
I was out to check on how some of my brethren were fairing, when God said, ‘Now, sit in quietness I want to talk to you’! That’s how the vision came, not in the prayer room. I was in the car when God said, ‘The harvest of Africa is now overipped, rush in’! Church Gist. So it’s not about being in the prayer altar and then rolling here and there but by being in the Spirit. It’s time to guard your spiritual strength and strengthen your spiritual court if you want to walk with the Spirit of God in these Last days.
- Possess a meek Spirit
Why? The meek will He teach His way Psalms 25:9. Moses was the meekest of all men on the face of the earth and God said, ‘I speak to him, mouth to mouth’! Numbers 12:13. God has no place for the proud. ‘Yesterday, I have concluded that I will be going to Italy and then next tomorrow I will go to Moscow and then I will come back’- Pride! You know? For getting close to six years now, the Lord said, ‘Don’t you get out of this country until I tell you to’! What? I’ve been travelling all my life! It’s a pleasurable obedience, unusual happenings and events.
-Somebody’s story is changing!
Without meekness you can’t go far Matthew 5:4. You are precious in the sight of God, don’t sell off your birthright to spiritual carelessness. Jumping everywhere like every other person and suffering what they are suffering! Not you anymore!
-May the grace that is guiding this Commission to this date and guiding His choiced Servant to this point, come alive afresh in your life!
If I don’t know anything else in my life, I know that I know that I’m in the centre of the centre of the will of God for my life, and I want to get to that point too. Church Gist. And everything is working by the hand of the one who is leading and by the grace to follow. “Follow me and I will make you; follow yourself, you end in regrets. Follow my plans for you, I take responsibility to secure your glorious destiny and turn you to a living wonder on the earth. Just follow me”. “Lord, what are you saying?” “Go. Just follow me”. “We have left all things and followed you”. Church Gist. He said, “men, listen to me, you left all and followed me, you have hundred folds of everything you have left and with eternal life to match”. “You left all to follow me? I will make you a living wonder among men”. Mathew 19:27-29. Luke 18:28-30. Mark 10:28-30.
- you’re the one God is speaking to! Grace to be an ardent, delightful follower of God’s plan, receive it now!
I have a lot of young daughters and grand daughters here and sons, they’re already getting old, Samuel was hearing God before he was your age. Without access to the voice of God, you leave your life to chance. Church Gist. “Lord, you must open my ears in this mountain, I want to hear your voice too”. I heard His voice led me step by step in a town without asking a person. T. L. Osborne guided me. Can I tell you something? No new generation has a future without a bearing in the previous generation. You will never find a new tree that is not from a seed in the old. Osborne taught me to know the voice of God. I read that book in one sitting. Church Gist. Those who love God will always enjoy His response. I read the book, “The Purpose of Pentecost” in one sitting, no standing up. “Holy Ghost, if you’re still a person, direct me to where these folks are, I don’t want to ask anybody, and I heard Him say, “go forward”. What? So succulent and soothing. Got to a T-junction, “where do I go from here?” “Make a left”. Church Gist. Another point, “make a left”, I said, “Holy Ghost, watch. This place is Ministry of Works quarters”. He just withdrew, “since you know the quarters”. I said, “okay, I’m sorry”. I knew when He left. Don’t leave your life to chance o. “I know my sheep and they know my voice”. Are you not one of His sheep? Then you have the right of access to His voice but you’re too busy and too clouded, CNN, CNT, and all the various things that you check through. Church Gist. Even when you’re in service, some of you (keep pressing your phones). You can’t hear from God. No. You know why I hear so clearly from God? It may look primitive but I bought last newspaper in 1993. Those who make news don’t watch news. Church Gist. They’re busy making news for those who would watch to watch. But if you put my name in front of any newspaper now, it will sell like fire. Those who make news don’t watch them; those who watch them don’t make news. Church Gist. You can’t be a spectator and a player in a football match at the same time. You’re either playing or you’re watching. Life is race and it’s timed.

- again, my prayer is that you will take a place now in God’s endtime agenda and be listed among the army of generational record breakers by following His plans for your life and enjoying His backing all the way.

Can I tell you something? Ministry was not my dream. My plan for myself was to have God bless what I’m doing to promote the Kingdom of God. Church Gist. I didn’t have any drive towards going into Ministry. Can you now compare His plan with my plan? It’s far apart as the Heavens are higher than the earth. Church Gist. Am I still promoting the Kingdom of God? Oh, yes. By His blessings and by His unction and grace. I found myself signing off for 100 Churches at a time for building. What business would I be doing that could get that fast? He saw my heart but that’s not His way to go. Church Gist.”Stand in the ways and see and ask for the good path, the old paths and walk in it”, you say, “no, I won’t walk in it”. You better do. His ways are higher than your ways. His plans are higher than your plans. You better do.
- No aspect of anyone’s life among us here shall be wasted!
Thank God for His presence but thank God much more for eternity.

- the remaining days of this conference shall be fire!
- tomorrow shall be greater than today. From morning session to workshop session to evening session, it shall be awesome!
- everyone that stands to minister would be an oracle of God. They will deliver as ordered by Heaven.
- all whose hearts are open would receive and be lifted. That shall be your portion in the name of Jesus!
