While Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr was speaking on Unveiling The Ever-winning Weapon Of Wisdom (Part 2C), he spoke on the power of aligning one’s thought with God’s Word to achieve victory and to ensure that no contrary thought from satan is allowed to enter.
He said: “Take note, satan knows that if he can get you to accept any picture of defeat, then he can defeat you. If he can get you to accept any picture of limitation, then he can limit you. If he can get you to accept any picture of frustration, then he can frustrate you. Ensure that you are continuously conscious of anything that is contrary to the Word of God. Hello! And when that becomes the case, you are able to experience the victory that God has in store for you. Years ago when I was in our Church in the UK, we came for a pastor’s meeting here in Nigeria and after the meeting was concluded. (On the) last day of the Meeting, the Meeting had finished. God’s Servant called some of us that came from the Foreign Mission to the Church Secretariat and we stood in the lobby. Church Gist. And he stood in the midst of us and he said: “Deuteronomy 2:36. He said there was no land too strong for us, for the Lord our God delivered all unto us.” He said let none of you go back and say: “Oh! This Place is different, it’s strong, the things happening at home cannot happen here. There’s no land too strong for us! The Lord delivered all into our hands!” That day I went back, the Scripture opened into my Spirit man that: ‘No! There is no land that is different, no land that is hard’. Wherever you are, no matter the terrain there is what it takes to conquer the territory, there is no land that is hard. You see? There are many people that think: “Oh! There’s a hard place, there’s a soft place.” No! There’s no land that is hard. People will tell you in the UK then, “Oh! You can’t do outreaches like, it’s not Nigeria, you can’t do outreaches like that. Souls cannot be won like that, Church cannot grow like that. Church Gist. And because that was the thinking, Churches were small, they were limited. But when I heard that Word, I said: “No!” He said: “There was no land too hard.” By the time I went back with that Word, with that understanding that this Land cannot be hard, it is conquerable, it can be dominated. With that thought in (my) heart, just a switch of thought, the Church erupted. Before we knew it, it began to grow; it became the largest in the Nation, became one of the largest in the entire Continent of Europe. Why? Just a thought! A shift of thinking. Moving from the stand of: “This Place is different to the position of there is no place that is hard.” Listen to me, it doesn’t matter what your situation is, if you can get the picture of the Word of God, make sure that no thought contrary to it is allowed to enter.”
