THE GOD WHO ANSWERS BY FIRE WILL SHOW FORTH HIMSELF, DEFEND HIMSELF AND WILL SHOW THAT HE IS GOD IN YOUR FAMILIES, IN OUR NATIONS AND IN OUR LANDS.

YOUR HEART MUST BE ON FIRE FOR HIS PURPOSE AND AGENDA SO THAT HEAVEN CAN ANSWER YOU WITH FIRE
IF THERE MUST BE FIRE FROM THE HEAVENS, THERE MUST BE FIRE FROM SOMEONE’S HEART
IF YOUR ALTAR IS DOWN, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEE THE FIRE FROM HEAVEN

Hallelujah! Lift your hands and give the Lord the praise! The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. And Zimbabwe is being filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Church Gist. Everywhere we go around the world, territorial powers and principalities bow and Zimbabwe shall not be an exception. You believe that shout the loudest Amen!
-Father we thank You for tonight, we give You the praise and the honour; we ask Your blessing upon this Word tonight. Church Gist. Thank You Master because You have heard in Jesus’ precious name!
Light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen! You know our God is a consuming fire and the light of God is a department on His fire – It is out of the fire of God that the light comes. And that was the fire that Elijah asked for in order to see the light. It was that fire that Elijah demanded on, in order for the light of God to flood the Land. Church Gist. So tonight, I speak on the subject: ‘THE GOD THAT ANSWERS BY FIRE’. The God that answers by fire! The God that will answer you by fire! See what somebody wrote already there, he said: ‘I want fire for Crusade’ and your prayers are being answered tonight! Just remain there, your prayers shall be answered tonight!
Declarations: The God that answers by fire will answer me tonight.
My Text is taken from 1 Kings 18:24. Somebody shout Hallelujah! ‘The God that answereth by fire, let him be God’. Church Gist. This was the situation in Israel where the whole land was overruned by evil prophets and apostles, by the god of baal, by the powers of darkness and the powers of wickedness and people had abandoned the worship of Almighty God and they were worshipping several altars. They were at such a junction where the fire of God was needed.
Tonight, we are going to look at two things, we are going to understand:
1. The God who answers by fire.
2. The secrets of the fire.
So that was the situation in Israel. And Elijah needed something to happen to show there is a True God and he made demands on the fire and he asked the prophets of baal to start first and they started first but there was no show. Church Gist. It looked like their god was sleeping and when Elijah spoke; within a few words, the fire fell.
-I am here to announce to somebody! In your life and in your family, in your community, in your nation, in our generation, the fire of Jehovah shall fall, the God that answereth by fire shall be our God. Church Gist. If you are a believer, shout the loudest Amen!
When we say ‘The God who answers by fire’, what are we really talking about? What is the meaning of the God who answers by fire?
1. He is the God who answers to manifest His nature.
He answers to manifest His character, He answers to manifest His nature because the Bible said: ‘Our God is a consuming fire’. Deuteronomy 4:24. Church Gist. He answers to manifest His nature, He answers to manifest His character
2. He is the God! The God who answers by fire is the God who answers to defend Himself.
He answers by fire in order to defend Himself to show that He is still God.
-Somebody seated here, my God is about to defend Himself in your life, is about to defend Himself in your family, is about to defend Himself in our nation, is about… And I believe there are many nations here – From Malawi, I saw people here, from the Malawi Assemblies of God and from other countries nearby. Apart from Malawi, is there any other country that is here? Yes! Which country is that? Zambia is here too, Congo! Which other country? Church Gist. Netherlands! Alright! All the countries, whichever country you have come from including those who have come from Western Africa, Eastern Africa, Southern Africa, Northern Africa, Central Africa – I prophesy, the God who answers by fire will show forth Himself, He will defend Himself, He will show that He is God in your families, in our nations, in our Lands. If you believe that shout the loudest Amen!
3. The God who answers by fire is the God who answers speedily.
He answers speedily! ‘Espeediciously’! The God who does not waste time to answer.
-Is there somebody here tonight who wants God to answer you speedily? Church Gist. There is something you are trusting God for, that you want God to answer for you in your life and your family, the God who answers by fire is answering you right now. He will answer you with speed! Shout the loudest Amen!
– Look at somebody by your side, tell them, ‘God is answering you speedily. Church Gist. He will answer your nation speedily, He will answer Zimbabwe speedily, He will answer your family, community and Church speedily!” Shout the loudest Amen!
3. The God who answers by fire is the God who answers supernaturally.
He answers supernaturally and miraculously. Church Gist. That is, without the petrol, diesel or fuel, without the firewood, matchstick or lighter, fire just appeared from nowhere. He answers supernaturally and miraculously.
– I prophesy to somebody, that God who answers by fire, who answers supernaturally and miraculously, He shall answer you tonight!
He said one time, “you shall not see wind, you shall not see rain yet the valley shall be filled with water”. That is, “I’m going to do it my own way”.
– There’s someone here today, you may not see any physical thing but God is going to give you a supernatural miracle. He’s going to do something that will beat your imagination!
5. The God who answers by fire is the God who answers surprisingly.
You know the meaning of that? He answers to take the enemy by surprise and unawares. Church Gist. Before you knew it, the fire landed.
– there’s someone here tonight, I am anointed to announce to you that our God shall answer you surprisingly!
– families here represented, Churches here represented, ministries here represented, nations here represented, I announce to you, my God shall answer you surprisingly. He shall answer by fire! He shall take the devil, witches and wizards by surprise! He shall take the occultic and diabolic people by surprise!
– somebody shout “fire!”
That is the God who answers without warning. There’s a miracle that is about to happen, there’s a Divine intervention that is about to happen and it shall happen without warning!
We have seen the God that answers by fire. The next thing we want to see is, what does God answer by fire to achieve?
1. To reveal Himself to a Generation.
To reveal Himself and manifest His Almightiness, for our God is a consuming fire.
– Everyone who is doubting your God and my God, everyone who is doubting our God, in this season, they shall experience the revelation and fire of God!
He answers by fire to reveal Himself to our generation, to show His Almightiness, to introduce Himself, to let the world know who He is.
2. He answers by fire to change the opinion and the minds of a people.
You know when the fire fell, all the people said, “The Lord, He is God”. 1 Kings 18:39. He answers by fire to change opinion and the mind of the people. Church Gist. Elijah said, “why do you lean between two opinions, if God be God, serve Him. If Baal be Baal, serve him. But I am going to do something that will make you to make up your mind, let the fire fall, then you’ll be able to make up your mind”.
– hear me today, there’s something God will do after this crusade, something He will do in your life and around your life that will make the people to change their mind about God and make those who don’t believe in God and go to Church change their minds and beliefs about God.
– look at your neighbour, say, “the Lord, He is God”.
3. To redirect a generation to Himself.
A generation of people that are following the wrong direction, He answers by fire to give them a new direction and a change of direction.
– I don’t know who God sent me to here tonight but there’s somebody’s life, family and individuals that are about to receive a new direction by the fire of the spirit.
– By what God will do in our lives, there are lands that will receive direction.
4. To dissolve the climate of darkness.
He releases His fire to dissolve the climate of darkness, evil and wickedness.
– I stand here by the Apostolic and the Prophetic Mantle of God and I announce tonight, the fire that shall fall is going to dissolve the climate of darkness around your life, family, destiny and in our generation!
– look at your neighbour, say, “get ready, something that is not of God is about to be dissolved and dismantled by the fire of the spirit!”
5. To release judgment on the enemy, his works and his agents.
Especially on every agent of the devil and every work of the devil that is against the work of God. Church Gist. Because when the fire fell, the prophets of Baal could not go free, vengeance was executed, 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah, all were laid to rest when the fire fell.
– I announce tonight in the name of Jesus, drastic judgment in the camp of the devil! The devil, his agents and his works shall experience casualty!
– lift your right hand and say, “Father, let your fire fall. I apply for your fire now!”
All the way from Bulawayo to Harare, all the way to Victoria Falls area, everywhere you have come from, get ready for Zimbabwe shall be filled with the glory of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the seas. Church Gist. Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, Central Africa, Western African and Northern Africa shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Fire in your heart will connect fire from above because deep calleth unto the deep – At the sound of the waterspouts! Your heart must be on fire in order for Heaven to reply you with fire. Is God speaking to somebody here, shout the loudest Amen! Your heart must be on fire – Fire for God, fire for His purpose, fire for His agenda so that Heaven can answer you with fire. Listen! The conditions of the earth affect the responses of Heaven. He said: ‘Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven’. Before the flood of Noah, the Bible said the fountains of the deep in the earth were opened. Church Gist. And when the fountains of the deep in the earth were opened then the windows of Heaven opened. Genesis 7:11. So something opened on the earth then something responded from Heaven and then the rain came from Heaven. And then the water came from the deep and then there was a flood. Am I speaking to somebody here at all? If there must be fire from the Heavens there must be fire from someone’s heart. Elijah was a man of fire so he could provoke fire from Heaven. If tonight you are trusting God for the fire of Heaven to answer you, then you are going to ask God to set your passion for God and His purpose.
2. A functional prayer altar.
1 Kings 18:30. The Bible said that Elijah repaired the altar that was broken down. Before he could call down fire, the altar had to be repaired. If there is no repair of the altar, there can be no fire from the Heavens because the fire is coming in the altar and that altar must carry the sacrifice. Am I speaking to somebody here, say: Amen! Church Gist. If your altar is down – Your prayer life is down, your worship life is down, your study of the Word is down and your general spiritual altar is down it is not possible to see the fire from Heaven. So you need to repair the altar. There are people here tonight, who will repair their altar and say: ‘Lord! My altar has been down, I have not been praying enough, I’ve not been studying the Word enough, I am very slack with Church, I am not worshipping you the way I should. I need my altar to be repaired’ and God will help you. Somebody say a loud Amen! There are many things I can say tonight but there is no time.
3. If you need the fire, the third requirement is a prayer demand for fire based on His Word.
A prayer demand for fire based on the Word of God. Church Gist. In 1 Kings 18:36-38, Elijah began to pray and he told God: ‘Answer me, Oh Lord! That everyone may know that I have done this according to your Word’, then the fire fell!
-Tonight, we have come before God and we are going to experience the God who answers by fire!
