YOU HAVE CROSSED OVER TO PERMANENT FREEDOM!

THE ENEMIES THAT YOU HAVE UP TILL THIS MOMENT, IN THE NAME OF THE ONE WHO IS CALLED THE SON OF GOD, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!

AFTER TONIGHT, YOU WON’T WEEP AGAIN BECAUSE WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT; JOY COMES IN THE MORNING

IF YOU WANT CERTAIN WONDERS, YOU HAVE TO PRAY FOR THEM

IN A CROSSOVER MANY THINGS HAPPEN AND THINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AFTER IT

THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER CROSSOVERS APART FROM THE ANNUAL TRANSITION INTO A NEW YEAR

“MY WIFE AND I WERE RECEIVED USING THE CAR OF THE FIRST LADY OF THE COUNTRY WE VISITED” – Pastor Adeboye shares

IN THIS YEAR, GOD IS ABOUT TO MAGNIFY YOU. HE IS ABOUT TO MAKE YOU BIGGER

THE PLACE YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU CAN REACH, AS YOU CROSS OVER TO 2023, YOU ARE GOING TO REACH THERE!

YOU CROSS OVER AND OBSTACLES BEGIN TO FALL

WHEN THE ALMIGHTY GOD BRINGS YOU OVER, HE WILL PUT A NEW SONG IN YOUR MOUTH

– Pastor E. A. Adeboye on “THE GREAT CROSSOVER” || Crossover Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God December 31st 2022

🎶 You are worthy O Lord you are worthy. Angels are singing you are worthy O Lord. You are worthy Lord, you are worthy Lord 🎶

Father thank you for your goodness, mercy, thank you for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Church Gist. Father accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. In  the few minutes left in this old year, my father and my God I pray that all the enemies left in our lives will be completely dealt with. Thank you Almighty God in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Let someone shout hallelujah!

Exodus 14:13-14, 21-28. We are talking about, “THE GREAT CROSSOVER.” When we talk about cross over, many of us think just about December 31st. That’s a good day to consider a crossover but that will be a cross over from one year to another. Church Gist. There are several other crossovers and in fact in  a single crossover, many things can happen. For example:

When a lady stands beside a man before a Pastor in a Church and the Church having asked the man, “Will you take this woman as your lawful wedded wife?” And the man has said, “I do,” and the Pastor turns to the woman and repeats same, the pastor is asking the woman to make a very serious cross over because the moment she says, “I do,” and the man of God says, “I hereby pronounce you Husband and Wife,” suddenly the woman has crossed over into a new name, crossed over into a new accommodation, new responsibilities etc. Church Gist. If 10 minutes later she says, “I am no longer interested, I want the marriage nullified,” it could be done but things can’t return to where it was before. The woman now can no longer be called a maiden; she  will be called divorcee. It will be a different person even if they cancel the marriage.

– Tonight somebody is about to cross over and in crossing over tonight, whether you like it or not, things will never be the same again!

In the example I read in the text, when the children of Israel crossed over the Red Sea, they crossed over to permanent freedom. Church Gist. They tried later on to say, “we want to go back to Egypt” but it wasn’t possible because the Red Sea had closed behind them.

– Somebody is about to cross over to permanent freedom tonight!

The Crossover (of the children of Israel) forever freed from generational problems. Church Gist. The enemies they saw the night before, they never saw them again forever.

– The enemies that you have up till this moment, I am decreeing in the name of the one who is called The Son of God, you will never see them again!

Why? Because the Bible says whomsoever the Son has set free shall be free indeed. I am bold enough to say to someone that after tonight, you won’t weep again. You say, Sir, how can you be bold to say that? Because it is written, weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning. Church Gist. Many at times we think that the morning is 7am when the sun rises. No, the morning begins at midnight. That’s when we begin to talk about A.M. By the time we are saying, “Happy New Year” today, it will be the morning of joy beginning for somebody.

When the children of Israel crossed over the Red Sea, their mountains were drowned. There are some of the choruses we sing, some of us may not pay too much attention to them. There’s this one that says, oke nla nla … That is, big mountain, small mountain … You know some of the mountains are enemies that pretend to be friends. Church Gist. You see in the year that we are about to enter, let me hint you because like I said, we will be talking about Wonderful; one of the things you are going to discover even before we end tonight is that, if you want certain wonders, you have to pray for them. If you read Exodus 14, before God began to speak to Moses the first thing he said to Moses is, “Why are you crying to me?” That means there has been some crying. Tonight we are going to pray, there are some prayers you need to pray because it is written, if you believe and you doubt not, you shall say to this mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea. Church Gist. He didn’t say you will beg the mountain to be removed. You are going to command that mountain. May I beg you with all your heart to make a decree right now and say, “In the mighty name of Jesus, every mountain in my life, you will not follow me to the New Year.”

Prayers…

The children of Israel crossed over into a new song. Moses was a shepherd boy; he wasn’t a musician but after the children of Israel crossed over, all of a sudden Moses began to sing. Church Gist. He sang a great song and you will find it in Exodus 15:1-19. You know the song was so beautiful that the Bible tells us that when we get to Heaven we will sing the song of Moses. That song that he composed that day, we are going to sing that song and I will see you there. Church Gist. When the Almighty God brings you over, normally He will put a new song in your mouth. Psalm 40:1-3.

Somebody said to me, “I thought they told me that you studied Mathematics? I have never heard of Mathematicians composing songs.” Church Gist. I said well, if they get born again anything can happen. God put new songs in our mouth.

– In that name that is above every other name, very very very soon, less than one hour from now, you will sing a new song!

Let’s take another example of a Crossover: you will find this one in Joshua 3:7-17. That’s the story where the children of Israel crossed River Jordan just like Moses crossed the Red Sea. One of the things that God said to Joshua in verse 14 is, “Joshua, today I will begin to magnify you.” What do you mean by magnify? You know what a magnifying glass does. You use a magnifying glass to look at an object, that object becomes bigger and we can see the details. Church Gist. In the year that is coming, God is about to magnify somebody. He is about to make you bigger. He is about to bring those great things about you that people cannot see ordinarily, He’s about to make it clearer. He’s about to bring talents that are hidden in you to the open.

When you read 1 Samuel 16:11-the end, when God decided to magnify David, first of all he brought a shepherd boy and turned him to a king. Next, when the former king became mad and needed help, somebody told him there is a boy who is a good musician. Church Gist. Nobody knew or talked about that before and because God decided to magnify David, the boy who was sleeping with the animals in the field suddenly became someone who was living in the palace. You need to read some of these stories with understanding. I feel it is the Holy Spirit that is speaking through me to somebody now saying that:

– The place you never thought you can reach, as you cross over tonight, within a very short period of time you are going to reach there!

My wife and I, we traveled to one country not too many years ago. When we arrived, the car of the first lady came to receive us. Church Gist. That’s the car we rode from the Airport to town. Outside, the car looked like any other Mercedes Benz car but inside, we discovered that cars are different from cars.

– The place where you think you can never reach, my father and my God will take you beyond!

You know it wasn’t long after God spoke to Joshua and said, “it’s time to cross over Jordan,” that the wall of Jericho fell down. Church Gist. You cross over, and obstacles begin to fall. All you need to do is to shout a great hallelujah!

Let’s consider another cross over in 2 Kings 2:8. Elijah and Elisha crossed over the Jordan, into open heavens. Church Gist. By the time they arrived at the other side, the Heavens opened – chariots of fire came down from heaven.

– In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, in the coming year the Heavens will be wide open over you.

As a matter of fact beginning from next Sunday, I am starting a new series on, “To whom the Heavens open” that is going to be for you! Church Gist. But it’s not just open heavens that they crossed over into; Elijah crossed over to victory over death. As soon as he crossed over Jordan, it became established that he will never die.

– As long as the Lord lives, anybody expecting you to die before your time, you will attend their funeral!

I want you to say with boldness, “I will not die; I will live and declare the works of God!”

Another Crossover this time in the same 2 Kings 2:13-15. This time, Elisha alone crossed over Jordan and like I said during the Congress, he crossed over into his destiny. Church Gist. He was on the wrong side of Jordan, he received the double portion but where his ministry was, was on the other side. He crossed over to his destiny. He crossed over to supremacy; his colleagues began bowing down to him.

– In the New Year somebody is going to become supreme!

He crossed over to his destiny, supremacy, he crossed over to uniqueness. Church Gist. There has never been anybody before or after Elisha whose dead bones raised the dead. He became unique.

– Somebody listening to me today, in the coming year your journey to uniqueness will begin.

Let me close. I won’t be fair to you if I don’t tell you that nothing goes for nothing. The year that is coming is going to be a very beautiful year for many of us, it is going to be  a year of Double Portion. Church Gist. But like somebody said, double portion blessings means double portion hard work. Double portion victory means double portion prayer. I mean for example: when the Red Sea opened, there could be some people who would say, “no, I am not going through.” Moses said to the children of Israel, “Move forward,” and then suddenly, a wall of water on the right, a wall of water on the left, go into that! “No!” (Some may say). Anyone who says, “I am not going to move forward…,” when the Sea closed again, he will still be there together with the enemies. Church Gist. But as for me and my house, every door that God shall open for me, I will walk through straight away. When God spoke to Joshua and said, “that’s the wall of Jericho there, I am going to pull it down for you, but I want you to do the following: go round the wall silently once a day for 6 days; on the 7th day, 7 times silently before you shout.” If they had started talking by the 5th day, the wall won’t fall.

In the coming year, God is going to require total obedience. He is not going to take anything from anybody who is going to argue with Him. Church Gist. If God loves you like I believe He does, He won’t take non, sense from you.

I’ve told you the story before: years ago, we have a camp ground (I said “we have” because we still have it) at Ekpe and we were going to build a camp there. About 40 plots of land or so, we thought that’s a camp ground. Church Gist. God must be looking down from heaven and laughing. We needed to dig pits; pit latrines – one for men, one for women. We got a contractor, a surveyor, licensed surveyor to come and take the contract. We told him so many feet long, so many feet wide; we were using feet in those days. We got there and it was time for him to measure the ground and instead of measuring in feet, he started measuring in metres! The Spirit of God told me, “Son, correct him.” I said, “No Lord, he is a surveyor. If he doesn’t know the difference between metres and feet, let him suffer for it!” Church Gist. We moved to the second place where we were going to dig the second pit, again he started measuring in metres instead of in feet and the Spirit of God said to me, “Son, correct him.” I said, “No Lord, he said he is a surveyor. If in the school of survey he didn’t learn the difference between metres and feet … may be he even charged me for metres anyway.” Then God kept quiet.

We turned to go and he got this hefty Hausa man who was going to do the digging for him – very hefty man! I mean he has been digging – only God knows for how long. He turned to me and said, “meigida” and stretched out his hand. I wanted to be a pleasant pastor so I stretched out my hand to shake his hand. Church Gist. He grabbed my hand and began to squeeze, and his hand was as hard as iron. The pain was like when your finger is caught at the door of a car. “Sound of Screams in pain” and I heard God say, “I told you to correct him.” I will I will. Then the man released my hand. My hand was burning like fire.

I corrected the man and then I was grumbling as I was going back to my car. “Father, the punishment is more than the offence.” Church Gist. He said, “no son, I told you that you are mine and I won’t tolerate any non, sense from you.”

How many of you want to be a favourite of God? Are you sure? Elisha got a double portion because he served his master beyond the call of duty. 2 Kings 3:11-12 tells us that he was pouring water on the hand of Elijah. Church Gist. He will not only prepare the food, he will not just come and say, “Master the food is ready,” he will say, “Sir, I have prepared the food, let’s wash your hand.” And he will be pouring the water on the hand of Elijah.

I have a friend, very big man. We were talking one day, something led to something and I said to him, “You are big, rich man, important man and you call me Daddy. Church Gist. Each time I had visited you, have you ever asked me, ‘where are you staying? Have you eaten? How did you get here?’ He said, “You didn’t ask me for anything.” You’re waiting for me to beg? I will never beg you for anything. If you don’t know your duty, that’s your headache.

The year we are entering into is going to require from you: Serving God beyond the call of duty, obeying him to details, praying instead of wasting time joking. Church Gist. Let me give you a little hint of what is coming in the New Year:

– It will be a year of mighty multiple opportunities. But will you grab the opportunity? That’s up to you!

Now, in case you are here and you have not given your life to Jesus Christ … What is coming in the New Year for those who are not children of God, I don’t even want to mention it. Church Gist. So if you are not truly a child of God and you want to be, you better run forward now.

Salvation Call

If you’re not a child of God, and you want to be or you want to rededicate your life to Him, cry to Him.

Ask Him to have mercy on you, and save your soul. Ask Him to be your Lord and Saviour.

Prayer Points

1. Thank God

2. Lord, I sincerely want to cross over. I’m tired of family enemies, darkness, sorrow, sickness, pain, and mountains blocking my way.

I want to cross over to peace, joy, progress, and to everything divine.
