-In Jesus’ Precious Name! Father, we thank you for this morning, we give you praise and honour for this hour of visitation. Church Gist. We ask that you do that today that no man can do! Change somebody’s life! Change somebody’s story! Give someone an unforgettable encounter! Thank you Lord because you have done it! Give the Lord a big clap!
I want to consider it a very great privilege to stand here this morning and to minister by the permission of my spiritual father, God’s servant Bishop David Oyedepo. I want to say this morning that there is power in association. Church Gist. I have realized that association determines assimilation! And association determines acceleration! Association also determines destination!
Who you hang around with! Who is the cover over your life determines your destiny coverage and prophetic covering! And destiny coverage! Many years ago, I heard of people coming from nations of the world to this ground, to experience and encounter God. Church Gist. By virtue of our connection and association, God is making us see the results of our connection!
Beyond people coming from different countries for Sunday services, we see at times fifteen and at times twenty! And thirty! Church Gist. That came to Nigeria purposely to attend Church on Sunday! As of two weeks ago, our foreign desk gave us a record for this year, people from one hundred different nations that flew all the way just to attend Sunday service! What a Faithful God!
Who you follow determines what follows you! It determines how far you can go! We have been to nations this year where a whole nation will stand still- The president, the police chief, the cabinet, the judiciary. All attending meetings in the day time! In the morning! Church Gist. Literally, work shut up because the same mantle literally invaded a nation!
We went to the nation of Zambia, at the crusade! Some of them are here today! We had a crusade in Zambia, and a wizard was flying from one place to another and came across the crusade ground and dropped. Church Gist. That’s the mantle we receive here! That’s the wizard right there on the screen!
He was not coming to the crusade, he was just flying across! It was an international wizard. It was flying from Malawi across Zambia and came across a no-fly zone! And it just dropped from the sky! And dropped physically! They asked him,’What happened?’ He said, ‘I’m not coming here, I was going somewhere and I just passed this place! And all of a sudden, his engine failed! Church Gist. The witchcraft engine failed and he just dropped!
I prophesy to somebody here, in the Name that is above every name, every force of hell, that is after your destiny they shall drop this morning!
Thank you Sir, for shining the Light so bright for a very massive influence over our lives and families! This morning, I have been asked to speak on, ‘THE HEALING COVENANT’! Exodus 15:26.
Our assignment this morning is to cause us to understand the healing covenant! Here in this Scripture, Exodus 15:26, the Lord identified Himself as the Healer! He identifies Himself, the first time as Jehovah- Rapha! Church Gist. Throughout Scriptures, we see the consistency of our healing God. In Exodus 23:25, He said and you shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and water…Psalm 103:1-3. We have been with a healing God Psalm 107:20, Jeremiah 30:17, 3 John 1:2.
-I prophesy to someone today, every trace of affliction in your body, Jehovah-Rapha will clear then now!
The God that healeth thee, ‘Jehovah-Rapha’ is translated in three ways:
1.Doctor (Physician)
2.Repairer or mechanic
3.Mender or tailor
I am the Lord, your doctor, physician, repairer, mechanic, gender and tailor! In case anything is scattered or butchered in your life, I can suture it back! And that is happening to somebody this morning! He demonstrated this covenant Name in Israel when He brought them out Psalm 105:37.
There was not one sickling person for three and half years! Not one was feeble and sick! Not one of them had a headache and any affliction! Because Jehovah-Rapha was at work! What blew my mind was that the covenant did not only affect their body, it went beyond their body Deuteronomy 8:4, Nehemiah 9:21. Not only did God release His covenant of healing on their body, the covenant went to their clothes! Church Gist. There was no wear and tear on the skin! There was no wear and tear on the clothes and there was no wear and tear on the organs! And there was no wear and tear on the body!
Beloveth brothers and sisters! If God can make clothes strong and not to tear because He is Jehovah-Rapha. How much more will He make your body to remain together!
-I announce today, every wear and tear in your body is arrested now! Church Gist. If the covenant can renew clothes and shoes, this same covenant is renewing your organs, livers and kidneys right now!
Very quickly! What does healing entail? Seven things! Minimum!
1.Relief. The relief of pain and discomfort. Is there no balm in Gilead? Church Gist. Jeremiah 8:21-22. When God relieves pain or discomfort is healing!
- Repair. He relieves then He repairs! John 4:52.
3.Renewal. The organ or the tissue can be renewed. It’s the same system but it is made new. Church Gist. It is renewed and refreshed! Isaiah 40:31. They shall renew and refresh their strength!
4.Release. Where the person who was in captivity because of affliction can be released. In Luke 13:10, a woman who was bound and Jesus spoke to her in verse twelve, Jesus said, “Woman, thou art loosed!” And she was released!
5.Restoration. The restoration of function. In Matthew 12, we saw a man who’s hand was withered and in verse thirteen, Jesus ask him to stretch forth his hands! Church Gist. And it was restored! Restoration of function where something is there but it cannot function!
6.Recreation. This is where the thing is totally replaced completely! Matthew 15:30. Maimed means something is missing!
The Living Bible said that those with missing hands had new hands! I don’t know what is missing in your life this morning, but by the Name that is above every name, The Healer is releasing them to you now!
- Resurrection. Where what was dead came completely back to life. Church Gist. Dead organs, dead tissues, dead human bodies. We saw the testimony in 2 Kings 8 and 1, how there was a reference to the dead child that was raised!
This is the point of the matter! If there is anyone here who is in need of a relief, relief is happening to you right now! If there is something in your body that needs to be repaired, repair is happening to you right now! Church Gist. If there is something in your body that needs to be renewed, renewal is happening right now!
-Anyone under any form of captivity, I declare your release right now! And anything in your body that is not working right now, I decree restoration right now! And anyone that needs a total change of organ, you need a new liver, new kidneys, new fallopian tubes, I announce to you today, they are being released right now!
And whatever that is dead in your life is coming back right now!
What is the platform for our healing? What is the basis of our expectation, what gives us the right to expect healing?
1.We were created in the image and likeness of a ‘sickless’ God! Image and likeness! God did not design and create us to be sick. Genesis 1:26-27.
- We are connected to the Abrahamic covenant of vitality and longevity! Galatians 3:13-14. And we saw Abraham in Genesis 25:7 and 8, how he lived in a good old age and departed in strength at the age of 175 years. Isaac in Genesis 25:28, he lived up to 180 years in good old age. Jacob, Genesis 47:28 and Joseph, Genesis 50:26 died at the age of 110 years old. And then, Moses, maybe we would read that, Deuteronomy 34:7. Church Gist. The Bible said, Moses was 120 years old when he died! His eye was not dim and his natural force was not reduced! That is the Abrahamic Covenant.
-I prophesy to somebody right now, every trace of weakness in your body disappears right now!
We are created in the image and likeness of a sickless God and we are connected to the Abrahamic covenant of vitality and longevity.
3.We are healed by the stripes of Jesus at Calvary Isaiah 53:4, 1 Peter 2:24. It is the basis of our expectation of healing!
- We are members of the body of Christ. We are members of His ‘sickless’ body! Everyone who is a child of God is a department of Christ. Church Gist. Every department of a lion is ‘lionic’!
We are the department of His body, He was sickless for three and half years and we don’t have any right to be sick! 1 Corinthians 12:7.
5.We are the Temples of the Living God! And God forbids defilement and ungodly transactions in His Temple 1 Corinthians 3:16-19. We are a mobile temple! Temple in motion! When you pass by the road, it is not just a person that passed, a Temple just passed! A church just walked past!
And He said,”He that defileth the Temple, Him, will God destroy!”
In Matthew 21:12, they were buying and selling in the temple, He stepped into that Temple with a whip and whipped them out! No cancer is permitted in your body, No Human Immune Virus (HIV) is permitted to transact in your body! Church Gist. No Hepatitis devil is permitted to transact in your body!
-I announce today, every ungodly transaction in your body, is arrested now! By the power of the Spirit!
We are indwelled by the Spirit of Life! The assignment of the Spirit is to saturate our system with Life Romans 8:5. It shall invigorate your mortal body with Life, if the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you!
-I decree today, Life is coming to somebody now! Church Gist. I see the saturation of Life in somebody here!
What is our responsibility for health?
1.Be born again. The sacrifice that took away sin is the sacrifice that took away sicknesses Isaiah 53:4-5.
2.Walk in uprightness! There is a relationship between the forgiveness of sin and the healing of sicknesses. Who forgiveth thy iniquities and healeth thy diseases. I’m sure that you know of sin related diseases like sexually transmitted diseases, Bronchogenic Carcinoma for those smoking cigarettes, like chronic liver disease from alcoholism. All these diseases are sin related!
3.Feed on the Word! The Word is Life to our soul and health to all our flesh! Church Gist. Proverbs 4:20-22, Psalm 10:20. The Bible said in Luke 5:15 and 16, that the people came to hear and be healed! To hear is to be healed! Why is it important? Because the Word of God is Spirit and they are Life! John 6:63. And the Word of God stirs up your Faith so you feed on the Word to walk in this covenant!
4.Walk in Faith Mark 10:52. Church Gist. You are not the sick person that is trying to get healed, you are the healed person that the devil is trying to make sick! That is your perspective of faith! ‘Satan, I was healed 2000 years ago’! Like our father in the Lord would say, He took! And so what has been taken cannot be there! And so, I am healthy! I am whole!
5.Speak positively and accurately! Death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverb 18:21. Now, Proverbs 12:18- Very important Scripture, it says, ‘There is someone who speaks like the piercing of the sword… There are people whose speaking pierces their lives! There is one who speaks, and he is damaging his body by his words! It is either that you are living or dying by what you speak! But you shall fulfill your days!
You know that in the village, they celebrate death a lot- Funeral is a major occasion. One visitor came to my house some years ago as they are always talking about death so they die anyhow. Church Gist. So I asked, “When are you going back to the village?” He said, “Eh! If death does not carry us by this time tomorrow!”
That is a normal expression! But No! Death cannot carry you by this time tomorrow!
-Somebody, shout! I shall fulfill my days! I cannot die before my time! I shall live to fulfill my days! Church Gist. In the Name of Jesus!
6.Refuse to live in fear. Fear is an invitation to disaster! Job 3:25. I was afraid of these calamities and they came 1 John 4:18. Because fear is a torment! When fear arrives, it arrives to torment! Church Gist. I’ve seen people who saw somebody sick and then the person died of the sickness! And they got afraid of that same sickness until they became sick!
A man testified in our Church, how his friend died of prostate cancer and the fear came on him on the spot and within twenty four hours, the same symptoms came on him! It took the power of God to set him free from that affliction!
-Every trace of fear in your life is arrested right now in the Name of Jesus! And you deal with fear by the Word!
7.Avoid depression! Live joyfully! Merriment is medicinal! Joy is therapeutic! Proverbs 17:22. Listen, depression is the foundation for both oppression and affliction! Depression sustains oppression and affliction! Church Gist. If you have agreed to be depressed, then you have agreed to be afflicted! You must live in joy and then cast out that spirit of affliction!
- Avoid bitterness! Walk in love! Walk in forgiveness! Hebrews 12:15. The root of bitterness invites trouble to the system! The root of bitterness equals the fruit of sickness! Where you see bitterness, sickness is nearby!
A young lady, who was suffering from blood cell cancer was counseled to forgive her father who she felt maltreated her after the mother died and the father married a new wife and both of the maltreated her! She was counseled to forgive her father! Church Gist. She forgave her father and within six weeks, every trace of cancer disappeared from the blood!
There are people whose peptic ulcer, hypertension and migraine is tied to bitterness! If you release the people you, will be released!
-I see someone’s release right now!
- Maintain a steady flow of the Spirit Romans 8:11, we just saw that the Spirit of God quickens our mortal body! You are filled with the Spirit? The Spirit of God irrigates your system! You pray abundantly in the Spirit, you follow the leading of the Spirit! Church Gist. It irrigates your system with Life!
- Engage in Kingdom Service Exodus 23:25
- Engage in fruit bearing (Soul winning) John 15:2. Engage in soul-winning assignment and God will prune you! And position you for the assignment.
- Be active in covenant practice. There is a connection between divine health and divine wealth! When God gives wealth, it responds to the covenant! He also gives health! Psalm 41:1-3. The Lord will strengthen him out of the bed of his languishing! The meaning of that is that, you are a covenant practitioner, the Lord will tell you, ‘You are not meant to lie down here’! Get up from there! He will prepare your bed!
You know the Centurion’s servant in Luke 7. One of the major reasons why Jesus went with him to his house- They said, “This man loves our nation and he has built us a Synagogue for us”. Jesus aid, “Is that right?” Let’s go!” That was the healing of the servant of a healing practitioner!
-Every devil tampering with your health, the covenant shall speak for you!
- Stand in the gap for others. Sow seeds of intercession and mercy for others Job 42:10, Matthew 7:12. One man was praying for someone with heart conditions (arrhythmias). Church Gist. He laid hands on the person for arrhythmias and as he was praying, the power of God came on the man. He too had arrhythmias for 21 years. As this man he was praying for, was healed, he too was healed at the same time of the same heart condition (arrhythmias).
What you give, you shall receive! Give and it shall be given to you! When you say that it shall be well with someone, no devil can say that it shall not be well with you!
- Receive the prayer of faith when necessary! Church Gist. As you submit yourself to the authorities of the elders of the Church, the home cell leaders, leaders of the Church, the group leaders and so forth, and you have an affliction James 5:14. The Bible said that they can come and anoint you with oil and the prayer of faith shall save the sick.
15.Engage the mystery of the anointing oil! James 5:14 and Mark 6:13 talks about the mystery of the anointing oil. And also the mantle mystery in Acts 19:11 will also come in its own category!
- Engage the communion table. John 6:56-57.
- Walk in the wisdom of healthy living! Ecclesiastes 7:17. Church Gist. I heard from my father in the Lord many years ago, he said that some people said they have diabetes, he said, ‘It is not diabetes that they have, it is ‘dia-cokes’- Too much drinking of cokes! ‘Dia-sugaries’! There is no prayer that can save a person or that can keep a person healed who is undisciplined in dietary and other habits.
There are people who actually are digging their graves with their teeth! I know one of the sons of the prophet who had a challenge with diabetes and hypertension and was weighing a hundred and ten kilograms, he decided to confront the matter by faith! Church Gist. And drastically confronted the weight! Drastically confronted diet and by prayer and declaration, diabetes went to hell! And hypertension went to hell!
There may be a time to lose weight to gain health! One day, I saw some weight coming on my body! And I saw my tummy trying to come forward and I told my wife, “Where is this tummy thinking he is going?” Church Gist. I said, “I will destroy it now after three days of fasting!” I used fasting as a spiritual exercise and also dealt with it! That thing reversed on the spot!
Listen to me brothers and sisters, there is the wisdom for healthy living!
18.Engage the Name of Jesus! Like our father just told us now! The Name of Jesus will answer every time. In Mark 16 :15-17. He told them, “These signs shall follow those that believe…” Philipians 2:6-9.
- Receive the impact of the gifts of the Spirit! 1 Corinthians 12:9 and 10, the Bible speaks of the gift of the Spirit! When our father stands up for instance, to minister, we see a flow of healing! There is a flow of the gift of faith and the gifts of working miracles! Church Gist. You surrender yourself to the flow of those gifts, and healing is your portion!
-I speak to someone right now! That liver disease, that condition on the side of your chest at the right, I declare, it is arrested and returned back to hell! In the Name of Jesus, I curse the spirit behind the tumors behind the cancers. Church Gist. Every spirit behind the growth, they are disappearing right now!
There are hernia disappearing right now, there are breast lumps disappearing right now! Somebody born deaf in the right ear, that ear is popping open right now! Someone whose eyes are not seeing, the eyes are seeing right now! Arthritis is getting healed right now! Church Gist. I decree today, the spirits behind those short-sightedness and hypertension, diabetes, peptic ulcer disease are gone forever! If you are saying Amen! Shout the loudest Amen!
Finally, beyond healing, there is still something! Three realms that I will tell you and then we are through concerning healing!
1.Divine healing. Where we talk about the restoration of health from the state of ill health back to good health!
- Then we talk about divine health, that is remaining in health and maintaining consistent victory over affliction! You don’t live on drugs, you don’t live as an afflicted person!- Church Gist. Divine healing is where you are receiving your healing back to health! Divine health is where you remain in that health!
- The third level, I call it divine virtue! Where you are not only healed, you are not only living in health! You are a transmitter of healing power! He said, “These signs shall follow those that believe!” He didn’t say, “This sign shall follow Pastors”. Church Gist. I just told you now that the healing went until it affected their clothes! If God can heal clothes! Beloveth brothers and sisters, He can pass through you to heal anybody and any afflicted thing! John G. Lake prayed for a crippled horse and God made the horse to regain his walk back!
Beloveth, you are assigned to impact your generation with God’s healing power!
Will you stand up to your feet and say:
-Father, I thank You for your healing power in my life. Church Gist. I receive it in my life and I release it to my generation! In Jesus Precious Name! Congratulations!
