WHEREVER YOU’RE GOING, SOMEBODY IS THERE, IDENTIFY THAT PERSON SO HE CAN HELP YOU GET THERE
WHAT IS FOR YOU A DESTINATION, IS SOMEBODY ELSE’S CURRENT POSITION. JUST CONNECT WITH SUCH A PERSON AND GET LIGHT
YOU CANNOT BE A MAN IN AUTHORITY UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN A MAN UNDER AUTHORITY
IN MINISTRY, I HAVE SEEN THOSE WHO CAME ON TOP WITHOUT ANYBODY KNOWING WHERE THEY CAME FROM AND WHO FATHERED THEM AND AFTER A LITTLE WHILE, NOBODY KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE
– Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche on “THE PATHWAY OF LIGHT” || Ghana Apostolic Invasion – Day 2, Evening Session || Accra, Ghana.
This night, I want to speak very quickly on “The pathway of Light”. Our objective is to understand the pathway to light. Yesterday, we looked at “The Power of Light” especially, over darkness. In the morning, we looked at “The Profit of Light – why do I need light and what would light do for me?” I wish that a series can come out of this. Church Gist. Tonight, we want to look at the way to light. If light is the cure for darkness, if light would lead me to the way of hope and faith and enhance the quality of my life like we saw in the morning, what is the way to light?
1. The way of the Word. Psalm 119:105. The way of the Word is the way of light. Psalm 119:130. If I can access the Word, I can access light and if I can access light, I can conquer darkness. Isaiah 9:8. Church Gist. All I need is for God to send me one Word and that one Word becomes the light to my generation. He sent a Word to my generation; Jacob is a person, Israel is a nation, he sent a Word to one man and that Word became the Light of a nation.
– I believe that there are people seated here tonight, the Word of God is coming to you and this Word of God is going to cause you to lighten your generation; to lighten your community, your family and your neighborhood!
The way of the Word is the way of light. Don’t forget, access to the Word equals access to light and access to light equals dominion over darkness. Church Gist. That is, there’s something God will show you in the Word of God that will enter your soul like light and that light would automatically put you in charge of darkness – darkness of affliction, poverty, witchcraft attack and whatever darkness it is.
2. The way of His presence. The presence of God is the headquarters of light. Psalm 36:9. Anything that takes me into the presence of God takes me into the presence of light, and if I step into the presence of light, darkness can’t survive around me. Psalm 89:15. Church Gist. The countenance of God carries light. The Face of God carries light. If only you can come around God, hang around God and step into His presence, you will connect light. That light would be the light from the Word and the Spirit and that light would put you in charge of darkness. Exodus 13:20-21. So, the presence of God equals light. Whatever you do to secure the presence of God, you’re securing light. Am I communicating? Church Gist. The realms and dimensions of worship and communion that makes you to carry the presence of God – heavy, tangible, palpable presence of God positions in the dimension of light and once that light comes, the darkness checks out.
– there are people after this weekend, when you step back into your compound, your home, your family, your community, your city and into the Church where you are, the devil will see light coming and they shall clear out of your path. If you believe that, shout the loudest Amen!
– look at your neighbour, say, “are you looking for light? Go in the way of the Word, go in the way of His presence, you will arrive at light!”
Is anybody getting anything here at all? Is it practical enough? Because we need light, we need to deal with darkness. Church Gist. We need to deal with the darkness of occultism, witchcraft, infirmity and diseases. We need to deal with the darkness of satanic agenda, the darkness of the antichrist and the bondwoman. We need to deal with the darkness; we are not to negotiate with darkness, we are not to dialogue with darkness, we are to dominate darkness, we are to deal with darkness, and we deal with the darkness by the power of light!
3. The way of Fasting.
Fasting can break you forth into Light- Light from the Word, Light from the Spirit, in visions, revelations and trances Isaiah 58:6. Thy Light shall break forth after you have fasted. Church Gist. Listen, everytime God leads you on a fast or you decide to embark on a fast, don’t just do it so that the flesh can only feel hungry or you just discipline your flesh. Every time you go on a fast, be on the lookout for Light. Don’t let it be just a physical bodily punishment or a religious exercise, be on the lookout for Light. Church Gist. Open the Bible with expectation, pray with expectation, go to bed at night with expectation so that you can wake up with revelation.
When Peter was fasting- Not eating food until about midday and he went to the rooftop to pray, then he saw a trance as Heaven was opened. And then a basket was coming down- That revelation came in the course of that fast. In Acts 13:2, while they ministered to God, Light, revelation and direction came to them. The Light that I got that made me step into the Ministry came in the course of a fast. The Light that I got that got me married to my wife came in the midst of a fast. Church Gist. Several junctions of my life came in the midst of a fast. And when I’m fasting and tired, I deliberately lie down so that I can receive- I listen to hear and I look to see, and I deliberately allow myself to go into that junction that I call the ‘sleepo-awake junction’- That junction where I’m not fully awake or fully asleep and you can see many things. Am I communicating at all? Light can come in the course of a fast.
Papa Oyedepo went on a three day fast and he said, ‘Lord, give me the secret of prosperity’! Church Gist. And he took a book and while he was reading the book in the course of the three day fast, the Light exploded.
-I prophesy to somebody here, Light is about to come your way! Church Gist. Every area where you are trusting God for Light, that Light is coming right now!
My daughter told me yesterday after we left the programme, she said, ‘I was just sitting and all of a sudden it just looked like a screen appeared and I began to see something but I wasn’t asleep nor awake but I was aware of everything that was going on! And I said, ‘It is normal’! Church Gist. And she showed me the details of what she saw. Whenever you are fasting, your Spirit achieves hypersensitivity- Extreme receptiveness and anything can happen.
-I see Light coming for somebody!
4. It is the way of the Oil.
And I’m not just talking about anointing oil I am talking about ‘The Anointing’. The way of the anointing is the way of Light! 1 John 2:20. In Exodus 35:8 …Oil for Light, in case you are looking for Oil, go for Light. And one of the easiest ways to store up the anointing is by praying abundantly in the Spirit 2 Timothy 1:6. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 14:2, such person is communicating in the frequency of mysteries and if he can pray for long, a time will come when his understanding will become fruitful because when he was praying at first, his understanding was unfruitful but after a while his understanding becomes fruitful and he begins to get some understanding of what He is talking about.
Oral Roberts got the Light for Oral Roberts University by praying in tongues and hearing the interpretation. Church Gist. When God spoke to him that He was going to build a University, it came as he prayed in tongues and he got to understand that, that was what he’s going to do with his life. Am I communicating at all?
Whatever you do to make you anointed will step you into Light, because the Oil is for the Light. Do your best to increase in the anointing and to generate the anointing- Do your best to increase in the Oil and you will explode in the Light! And for the anointing oil that some of you brought, I’ll be praying on it and use it as a point of contact for the anointing of God to be stirred up on the inside of you and for you to move in the direction of the anointing and the Oil. Don’t forget that whatever you do to arrive at the Oil will take you into the Light and the Light will crack your darkness.
5. The way of focus and vision Matthew 6:22.
If you can be delivered from distraction, you have been delivered from darkness. Distraction is the mother of darkness! When you don’t have direction in life, when you have no focus in life, when your life is drawn in a thousand direction, where is nothing you are pursuing specifically in life it is not possible to arrive at Light. Am I communicating at all? That is if you want to fast, step into the fast with focus, it is not that, I’m just fasting for what? Let God just know that I am tired of my situation. Just a specific focus- I want to get Light in this area. I am waiting on the Lord for this area, I am in business pursuit for this purpose and when focus is in place, then Light is inevitable.
-God will send you Light and everything around you will begin to speak in the direction of your focus!
When the whole children of Israel concluded that Goliath was not killable, they remained in darkness but when David decided that he was killable, ‘Who is this uncircumcised Philistine?… And everybody was saying, ‘Who is talking about killing this man? Church Gist. And David said, ‘Me, I’m talking about killing him’! When he got that focus like Reinhard Bonnke said in those days, ‘Everybody said that Goliath was too big to be killed but David said Goliath was too big to be missed’ 1 Samuel 17:27. And God showed David the empty forehead.
Something happened tonight at the crusade- While I was ministering and the power of God was moving everywhere, a young man saw in the crowd there, Reinhard Bonnke and Kathryn Kuhlman standing right behind me and tonight, over fifty something deaf ears opened amidst other things that happened- Just by standing behind me. Reverend Dr. John Darku has been in the Reinhard Bonnke crusade for 30 years. Over twenty something years ago, I asked him, ‘Can you give me crusade posters for crusade crowds in Lagos, Ibadan and everywhere crusade? Church Gist. He gave me plenty of them and I positioned them in my office as pictures everywhere around and I will come to that shortly! I looked at it and said, ‘Lord, this is possible everywhere’! And today it is possible everywhere! That’s one of the crusades two years ago (Referring to a video clip of a crowd gathered in a crusade ground at Taraba State Nigeria).
Hallelujah! What is your focus? Focus brings Light. The way of focus is the way of vision and Light! Church Gist. And when David focused on pulling down Goliath, God gave him Light and showed him the empty space on the forehead of Goliath and that brought the man down.
-I prophesy to somebody here tonight that as you move in the way of focus, I see the explosion of Light. Church Gist. You believe that, shout the loudest Amen!
– Lift your right hand and say, “My Light is come! My Light is here!”
Let me give you a final one and we shall pray.
6. The way of lighted vessels. Vessels, individuals who carry light, we follow their light to acquire light. John 5:35. Church Gist. The challenge of our generation is that people don’t want to recognize people who carry brighter light – everybody is a general; everybody is in charge. Nobody wants to recognize those who have light that is greater than them. Wherever you’re going, somebody is there, identify that person so he can help you get there. Church Gist. What is for you a possibility is already for somebody a reality – for you, it is a possibility, for that person, it’s a reality. Church Gist. What is for you a destination, is for somebody, a current position. Just connect with such a person and get light.
Yesterday, Rev. John said something that humbled me, he said, “Paul, I am here because it is your turn. In those days, you waited at the airport to receive Bonnke and to receive us, now, I am waiting to receive you”. He said that, with all humility. Church Gist. How can you lead until you have followed? You cannot be a man in authority until you have been a man under authority. He said, ” I am a man under authority and I say to this one, ‘go’ and he goes and to this one, ‘come’ and he comes”. Church Gist. Many people want to be in authority without ever being under authority and such authority can never last. I have been in this ministry work for a little while and I have seen those who came on top and you’re asking, “where did they come from?” Nobody knows.”Who fathered them?” Nobody knows. “Where are they arriving from?” Nobody knows. Church Gist. And just after a little while, you’re also looking for them, “where are they?” Nobody knows. Am I communicating at all?
The way of lighted vessels. We sat at crusade grounds, we observe things. We served, we watched, we stood around the lights and gradually, the light is being reflected, and many are coming under this light also and they’re shining. Church Gist. This young man had followed for 11 years, since 2011, he has been coming to Abuja. Today, I went to the program, crowd everywhere. Am I communicating? Beloved, the way of lighted vessels. Anywhere you’re going, somebody has gone there. Who is that person? Find out, so it can shorten your journey. So you don’t need to pass the way he passed. He will tell you, “this was how I went, but you should go this way”. He will say, “when I was struggling to go, I went like this and like this but you, just go this way, straight and you can reach there”.
Stand up on your feet everybody!
