Lord, I ask that you speak to each one. Let each one have a specific word from you. Church Gist. We vow to give you all the glory in Jesus mighty name.
Before you have your seat hear this: If you love someone it shows. Who loves you, you dont need anybody to tell you. There are people who are aware of this celebration. Bishop Abioye called me by 4:30 pm. I didn’t tell him we were having anniversary. If you love somebody you will know. He called me by 4:30 and said “I know today is your 26th anniversary” and started praying, I smiled. Bishop Oyedepo’s second son, Isaac called me this morning. Did I tell him? No! For somebody to say he does not know is a lie. For you to come means you love us. I didn’t tell Isaac Oyedepo today is our anniversary, who loves you it flows. I didn’t tell Bishop Abioye, he knows. Church Gist. I didn’t tell Isaac Oyedepo, he knows. Many of you I didn’t tell you. May the God of heaven, whatever he has done for us in these 26 years, you will enjoy greater than it. I didn’t tell Korede, I said I wanted him to rest. I didn’t tell most of the pastors. I didn’t announce it to them. He called me and said I am on my way coming. I thought you will just stay in Warri and not worry. You came because you love us.
– Everyone whether online or in church who is celebrating with us mark what I am saying, your celebration has started in the name of Jesus.
Love flows. Love is not mechanical, who loves you, you will know. Bishop Oyedepo, my mentor, also prayed for me close to the service. Church Gist. Who loves you, you will know. This thing is not mechanical, if somebody loves you it flows.
– I decree all over the world whoever is celebrating with. You will not have any reason for regret.
– There shall be generations everywhere.
– You too will celebrate in the name of Jesus.
– God will do something in your life
Hear this truth, we are not celebrating our expertise, we are celebrating the grace of God. We are not celebrating our achievements, we are celebrating the hand of God. The message today is THE POWER OF UNLIMITED GRACE. Psalm 127:1-2. Except God builds, whatever you are doing is in vain. John 15:5. Whatever we have seen done these 26 years whether it is physical building, growth, signs and wonders, it is because God is involved. John 5:19,30. Jesus said I can of my own self do nothing. That is why He was constantly giving thanks to God the Father. If Jesus Himself could do nothing of Himself, what chance do we have to claim to be the doers of what we have seen so far. By strength shall no man prevail. Church Gist. 1 Samuel 2:9. If we have seen anything then something must be behind it. Every time you see the glory, you must find out the story. Every time you see success, find out what they did to be successful. If you see continuous success, find out what is the reason for continuous success. Succeeding one day is not success, it is not a political term where you stay eight years and you are out of office. In the Kingdom, you have to succeed all the days of your life. Abraham’s success was not an eight-year term. Today we are still talking about Abraham. So what is the secret?
I will be looking at what makes things work. What is it that makes things work? If things are working you should find out what is it that makes them work.
The Grace of God
1 Corinthians 1:26-29. Outside of grace, we are nothing. He does not look for the mighty, He picks people who are nothing and makes them something. So that nobody can say ‘I am the doer’. He picks people who are nothing. It is by election, I don’t mean an election of grace, I am talking about an election of voting, I don’t think anybody would have voted me to be a minister of the gospel. In fact, I would have been the one that they did in Nigeria if they were to vote. You know Nigeria has one kind of voting where somebody, they don’t vote for you but you say you want to be. Except it is that type. So I will say I will be a pastor by force. If it were the one they would vote for, I don’t think anybody would vote for me. That is if they were voting to be called by God because I was coming from the other side of life. He is doing it so that nobody can take the glory.
– You will be the next person God will display to your world.
When God wants to do a thing, He picks people from nowhere. The nonentities to become God’s entity. If we claim to have a powerful vision, who gave us the vision? We are seeing it because the one who called us is God and He is the one who is fulfilling the vision so it is not about us. Let me say this to every one of us, you cannot gain height until you understand the place of God’s grace. If you do not appreciate the place of grace as you grow higher in life, you may end up a disgrace. The size of grace is the size of God. Every child of God needs grace. Hear me, people of God, winning and succeeding in life goes beyond human strength. You will agree with me that there are many people in your field of endeavour who are smarter than you but they are not as blessed as you are. Church Gist. Many were first class students in school and are now being employed by those who were below average. Ecclesiastes 9:11. Every great man or woman in the Kingdom of God is dependent on the Grace of God. 1 Corinthians 15:10. Paul said yes I am a studious person but that is not the answer, there is a grace factor. Forget about the Grace that they are preaching, I don’t mean that kind of grace. I don’t mean the one they say you can commit sin or not commit sin. That is not the grace I am talking about. I am talking about the God factor in the race of life.
If you declare something and it came to pass, it is God that confirmed it. Isaiah 22:26. Psalm 107:20. We are only privileged vessels through whom God sends His Word. So whatever result we see is to the glory of God. When you make it through in life, in business, it is the blessing of God that makes us rich according to Proverbs 10:22. Church Gist. It is not your expertise, the purpose of grace is to raise you and I. Look at the man Moses God lifted him by grace.
– You will be the next God will lift. This anniversary will mark the beginning of your lifting.
– God will lift you in the name of Jesus. You are the next person God will lift.
Humility
A sense of achievement will make gratitude impossible. Let me say this to everyone: there is nothing wrong with you being gifted but stop counting on your gifts and credentials otherwise, you will not go too far. Thank God who gifted you but don’t count on your gifts otherwise, they can put you into trouble. Church Gist. 1 Peter 5:6. Your lifting is connected to your level of humility. James 4:6,10. Lifting you is not a problem to God if you humble yourself. Many don’t understand what the Bible is saying.
– Somebody will be lifted by God.
In the world, you can be arrogant, in the Kingdom you have to be humble. But let me also tell you, even in the world if you are proud God will resist you. Nebuchadnezzar was not a child of God. If God is against you, who then will you pray to? You can be proud doing something that you think is right. Many people think that pride is only for sinners. You can be so anointed that you won’t know when you become proud. Two people went to the temple to pray, one said “God you know I am not a sinner, I pray I give”. God said, “Hey! You are too proud oh”. Have you not seen people who say “The way I pray, I pray every day, that is why they don’t want to give me the microphone. Church Gist. If they give me microphone that my Senior Pastor does not know how to preach. If I preach everywhere go shake.” That is the reason God is not lifting you, they call such people “I too know” When you know pass your Senior Pastor. You don’t know what the other person knows. I tell people every day. If you preach one day in a year it will look as if the whole sermon is in your mouth because you have read for 360 days to preach one message. Be preaching every week then you know that you are empty. Humility is the secret for lifting.
Look at a man called Nebuchadnezzar. He was the first Professor of Animal Science. You know they say, ‘Induction to the Hall of Fame’. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Professors in Animal Science without schooling Daniel 4:30-33. I am talking to every one of us- When you see success, be very careful. A very great Man of God, a very anointed healing Minister of God in this generation- He is about the most anointed if not the second most anointed, I listened to him not that somebody told me. Church Gist. He said that one day he came for a crusade and saw an unprecedented crowd. And in his heart, he said, ‘Wow! They came because of me’! He said that immediately he mentioned that, the anointing left him. And he began to say, ‘Lord! I know that I made a mistake and even though you want to kill me, don’t take this anointing from me. They sang and sang and nothing happened until God forgave him and the Oil came back.
You know? Have you ever seen people clap for you and you say, ‘You know, they are clapping because the way that I preached was so powerful’! I heard a song that they sang for a man and I said, ‘This is a song for the grave’! It was a song for God and they were singing it for a mortal man. You know? When people want to kill you, it’s very easy! Nobody takes God’s glory and survives, go and read your Bible! Sani Abacha did it and did not survive it. When Sani Abacha was alive, most of you were young and didn’t know him- He was a Military dictator. Church Gist. At 7 am, there used to be a Network News on the radio, before they began the News, they would sing, ‘Abacha! You are good, you are good Abacha you are good! Everybody testifies that you are good, you are good Abacha, you are good’! And afterward, you will hear, ‘Now the News’… (Laughing)- They used the song to kill Sani Abacha. Beware of praise singers! Daniel 4:31.
When you miss God’s grace, you are heading for heavy disgrace! God taught Nebuchadnezzar a lesson! Be humble enough at every point to recognize the Lifter of men. One thing with proud people is that they count on their abilities and credentials. They think that they are more qualified than other people. If you can fight pride, then you have a future. The major thing that brought satan down from Heaven was pride and pride comes when you have access- You know? Satan had automatic access to God. Pride is of the heart! Church Gist. You know what I’m telling you? Check the greatest men in this Kingdom, they are men of humility- If you have ever met the great Man of God Pastor Adeboye, you will learn humility- He will want to shake you with two hands and even say, ‘Yes Sir’! You are the one that will even say, ‘Haa! Sir! To who?’ If you meet Bishop Oyedepo, you will see humility and if you meet me, the first quality that I have, with all humility is this one (Humility).
John D. Rockefeller, the wealthiest man in America will come to the Church first and leave the last person. If it were to be today, you would say, ‘I can’t come to Church, we have a Political meeting’! Church Gist. Political meetings that will soon leave you and another set of people will replace you- Soldier go, soldier come! Barracks remain! Is that why you have to be proud? If you want to last in this Kingdom, this is the major quality! As God lifts you, you must remain humble! Malachi 2:1-2.
-And I see God lift somebody!
Now, look at the man Moses in the Bible, the meekest man on the face of the earth, no wonder he enjoyed grace Numbers 12:3. Many of you don’t know the story of Moses, you remember that Moses was in the house of Pharaoh, he was supposed to be the next Pharaoh and that was the strongest tool in the world! Church Gist. In Exodus 33:13-14, the level of this man’s grace was something else- The reason why God gave Moses grace was because he was very meek. If you maintain humility, you will never need to beg for grace, your level of grace is a function of your humility.
-Today, I declare strange lifting over somebody’s life!
Whatever we have and have seen here is from God! What did we do? Nothing! 2 Corinthians 3:5. Everything that is working here is from God and whatever that is not working is from me. Can you hear me? In case there is any mistake, I am the one responsible for that mistake! It will be stupid for me to think that I am responsible for anything happening here! Church Gist. Let me share this secret with you: In your life, learn to be humble! This is the biggest secret of lifting in this Kingdom. Humble people don’t beg for grace, God just bestows it upon them. You know? Pride is very simple oo. Let me tell you because sometimes you just teach and people think that you are joking!
I was born again on the 16th of July and I went to Bible school in October. When we were in the Bible School, I entered the class and I saw people quoting the Bible and I said, ‘God, where will I start from? They will say, ‘John 4 verse this’! I will say, ‘Chei! God, will I preach like this? Church Gist. What will I preach’! The whole class did not know what I was passing through and every day I will say, ‘God! You know where I am coming from oo, I don’t know the Bible’! Man wey from disco hall come, where I wan preach from?
Every day I will tell God to please help me! One day, they said that we should do practicals and I said, ‘Hei God! Na today oo’! When I climbed the stage even our director was laughing at me because I don’t know what to preach! But see how far He has brought us! And today, I’m telling you my greatest secret- I don’t believe that I know anything! Church Gist. When the juniors and those that I led to Christ are teaching, I sit down to take notes because there is always something to learn from someone. I’ve seen it working in the lives of those ahead of us- I have seen it in Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedeo’s life. So humility is the greatest secret!
If you are a businessman who is succeeding, don’t let it get into your head, don’t say, ‘Well! You know that I’ve gone to Harvard University’! Attending Harvard University without humility will end in hazards! Isn’t it hazardous? Church Gist. Because some of us will say, ‘I went to Cambridge and Oxford University, whenever I speak and present a seminar everybody is held spellbound’! And God will say, ‘Thank you’! And you will put up your proposal and they will cancel it and say, ‘Nonsense’! And somebody who you think does not know anything is excelling in his field.
3. Acknowledge God always as a lifestyle 1 Corinthians 4:7. Keep acknowledging your source and you will keep going from one level to another. Church Gist. If you are used to this Church you will know that for every small activity, we will say, ‘Lift up your hands and let’s give thanks to the Lord’! We keep giving thanks for everything and we keep growing!
-You will also grow!
So it is time to sit down and acknowledge that where you are now and all that you have is a gift from God. That house? That car? The children are a gift from God. Even children who bear your name are all entrusted in your care by God, they are not your children – You are only a caretaker! So when you acknowledge God, you commit Him to keep working in your favour. Church Gist. For everything we have seen in these 26 years, who is the doer? God! So all we have come to do today is just to acknowledge Him. We have not come to celebrate our expertise but to say, ‘This is what God has done’! As God keeps lifting you, remain level-headed! Let me say this to all of us, ‘Beware of praise singers!
Over-commendation is condemnation in disguise! I like people telling me to work hard and do more but there is a way that they will praise you and if you are not careful… Let me tell all the Politicians who think that people love them, the day you leave the office you will know if they love you. A one-time governor left the office and when he was leaving, the cars that followed him home were not up to five cars. When you win an election, you will have a parking space but when it is 29th May, you will know that you are going back to your village. And that is when you will know that human beings are funny, they will say, ‘O boy! Make we dey go, e no go fit give contracts again! You will leave with your wife and children and maybe one person who cares too much! So when people commend you for your good works, learn to quickly give God the glory and acknowledge Him as the doer both in secret and in the open!
Let me say this to you, there is nothing that God is doing through you that He cannot do through somebody else. So don’t get too cocky and arrogant. Church Gist. If you think that you are building Church He can use even a labourer to do that. Life story, I won’t call the Pastor’s name, he shared a very humbling testimony, he was always buying what we call gas in the western world, we call it petrol in this part of the world for the generator when we started this Church. He said, everyday he would go and buy small 4 litre, 50-litre jerrican and bring to the Church, then one day in his heart, he said, “so, it’s only me that will buying this petrol for this Church”. Church Gist. He said, the moment he said that, God said to him, “turn back”, as he turned back, he saw pepper grinder carrying 2 jerricans. God said, “can you see? I only gave you the privilege to do what you did. So, don’t think that you’re doing anything special”. He said, “wow”.
Life story, I stood by a man in this town and God said to me, “look at this man of God”, I looked at him. He said, “whatever you’re doing today, this is the man that was to do it but he missed it, that’s why I gave it to you, don’t misbehave”. Church Gist. As I began to converse with the man, the man’s history was exactly like my own. He did not know. I just said, “sir, how are you?” He began to tell me how everything started. (God said), “this is the man whom whatever you’re doing today, it’s this man who would have done it but arrogance and pride made him miss it”. Let everybody know that God is the doer. Church Gist. Say it in your heart, declare it with your heart, not the one that you just say it with your mouth and inside your heart, you say, “okay, okay. If I don’t sing, who go fit sing? If I no dey choir, who go fit sing that kind song?” You will see that God will bring a labourer, a mason to sing and the Anointing will come down. When we started this Church, you know Churches, people play drums and they charge you. We, from the beginning, if you bring that, we would push you out. Church Gist. You can imagine, everyday I preach, do I charge you? Am I not working? How can you play drums and we will now pay? We don’t do that. It’s service. So, some young men became so arrogant, said they were not going to play drums. So, I told one boy, he was small then, he had a younger brother who used to eat beans in the Church, he’s a man now. So, the boy was there and I said, “kneel down”, I laid hands on him and said, “go and play drums”. Everyone was shocked. Church Gist. I said, “play the drum”. He just carried the sticks and began to play drums and the boy was perfect. That was where everybody who came to be arrogant kept quiet. Whatever you’re doing today, there are millions of people who can do it. So, don’t allow anything to get into your head, we are all beneficiaries of grace.

Now, listen, I’m someone very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. When song is going on, I connect with Heaven. I don’t want to just pray for praying sake. Church Gist. While they were singing, I said, “Lord, what do your people need?” He said, “listen to me carefully. It’s not long prayer. You celebrate good things that’s why you don’t lack good things. So, pray for them in that manner”. Now, listen, I will tell you what the Holy Spirit said to me. Nobody would ever attract what you don’t celebrate. Church Gist. When Canaanland was built, all my heart with so much joy, I said, “this is strange”. When God said we should build, I said, “God, you know. Where do I start from? Oyedepo has his own level. God, where?” He said, “just look and celebrate him. You will see your own with so much ease”, and with my heart, I celebrate whatever He shares and I began to get results without sweat. Anything good that I see in someone that I desire, I celebrate it, and I discovered that the more I celebrate anything good, I just attract that same thing in my life. Church Gist. God said to me, “tell them, is there anything that they love here?” Is there anything you love here? Projects are done without sweat. We are meeting with some Pastors, every finishing, no one is in thousands of dollars, everything is millions of dollars. Convert it to naira. They were calling the millions as if they were calling 5 Naira. “5 million dollars”, I said, come oh, we are in Nigeria. This one, they say, “3 million dollars”, everything million million, in a supposedly depressed economy, yet nobody in this Church is under pressure. Church Gist. There must be something that is at work and that is God. Because, if the kind of money they are calling, if we call them to the public, some of them, their Faith will die, but the one who is the owner, whom we are celebrating will provide.
I’m going to ask you to pray, any good thing you see here, see the educational sector, without sweat. Church Gist. Same thing happened, see the Church sector, see the way sweatlessly we grow. Is there anything you desire? See the television sector, we are not under pressure. Millions of dollars are spent globally for television, yet you will find out that I don’t go on television and say, “if you don’t give, this television program will close”. Have you heard me say so before? There must be something God is doing. Church Gist. What is it you love here? Is it the miracle area, the project area, there must be something you love. God said to me, “tell them, the way you love Oyedepo and some other people, how you love them and things work for you, tell them that whatever they love today, it will work for you”. Is there anything you love, set your heart on it and say, “Lord, I love the way you’re doing it here for these 26 years, I want it in my business and in my career”.

Now, hear this, I will never say anything to flatter you. I was meditating deeply, He said, “Mathew 20. Those who came at the last minute, they paid them equally”. I said, “Holy Spirit, what did you say?” He said, “even those who are just coming for the first time, whatever you enjoyed in 26 years, they will enjoy it”. You don’t have to be 26 years to get to what you want to get. Church Gist. Lift your hands, I’m going to pray from my heart;
– whatever God has done these 26 years that you desire, He paid everyone even those who came at the last hour; those who came at the last minute, the 11th hour, He paid them equally, so also, even if you’re coming for the first time today, whatever He has done this 26 years that you desire, receive it in the name of Jesus!
– you will not need to go through 26 years, whatever we have enjoyed here that God has done that you say, “I like this, I desire this”, now, in your life, in ministry, in your family, in your business and in your career, receive it in the name of Jesus!
– before this time next year, all that is in your heart that you desire, they are manifesting in the name of Jesus!
– this is the last day you would go through struggles
– everyone who came barren, before this time next year, you’re carrying your children
– everyone who came jobless, before this time next year, you have miracle jobs
– everyone struggling in ministry, I decree before this time next year, it’s a new story!
– whatever is that thing that you asked God for, it will not even get to this time next year, beginning from today, the miracle is done! In the name of Jesus!
– God who revealed His Word, everything that you desire that took us 26 years, you, beginning from now, they manifest! You don’t need 26 years for it to manifest, beginning from today, every good thing you love will begin to speak in your life! In the name of Jesus!
– is it the healing anointing? Is it the prosperity grace, is it the speed? Name anything you like and say, “God, I desire it”, it will show in your life now!
– Father, let it be the gift of this anniversary to everyone globally, let their rejoicing start today in the name of Jesus!
– to our children who may be in school, as parents, we stand in the gap, may they be the best wherever they are found!
– every sick all over the world, because of this anniversary, be healed in the name of Jesus! No matter how complicated that disease, I decree a miracle for you in the name of Jesus!
– that sickness drops off your body! That complication comes to an end! By His stripes, we are healed. I decree the healing power of God to make you whole in the name of Jesus!
– to everyone who says, “I want to be married”, this anniversary is marking the beginning of you being married in the name of Jesus!
– whatever we have seen in these 26 years, you will see it faster!
– whatever it is that desire that God has done these 26 years, now, it will be real in your life!
No hypocrisy, God sees my heart;
– what took us 26 years, you will get it now!
– you will not struggle, you will not sweat. That business, you will not struggle! That career, you will not struggle! That thing you’re doing, you will not struggle! Struggling has ended in the name of Jesus!
– whatever took us 26 years, your own is starting from now! In the name of Jesus!
I heard God say to me, “It is done”. Give Him thanks and Praise.
