WHAT PRODUCES RESULTS FOR US ON THE ALTAR OF PRAYER IS NOT THE LENGTH OF THE PRAYER NOR THE AGILITY THAT WE DISPLAY.
IT IS THE FAITH INJECTED INTO PRAYER.
TO EVERY DIVINE AGENDA, THERE IS ALWAYS A SATANIC OPPOSITION.
IT TAKES FAITH TO QUENCH EVERY FIERY DART OF THE ENEMY.

Lift your hands to Heaven, let’s give glory to God this morning, appreciate Him and celebrate Him for these awesome testimonies. They are God’s doings, they are marvellous in our eyes. Give Him praise, give Him glory, give Him honour, give adoration unto His name. Celebrate Him, He is a faithful God.
Father thank you!!! Blessed be your name, you are worthy of all the praise, you are worthy of all the glory.
We have come this morning to hear your voice, Lord it is your voice I have come to hear, so speak directly to me today.
Thank you Mighty God. In Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
Prayer – Our Father, this morning we have come to give you the praise and glory for all that you have done for us.
Thank you for your marvellous acts demonstrated in the testimonies that we have heard.
Thank you for the answers you have given to all of our prayers. We give all the glory and praise unto your name and this morning, our eyes are upon you.
Lord speak directly to each one of us. Let your Word transform our lives. Thank you Mighty God. In Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
Somebody believe it, say a loud ‘Amen’.

One of the vital things that we have continued to re-emphasize from Scriptures is that the end time Church in God’s program is ordained as a Church of multitudes. Church Gist. That is God’s agenda in the last days.
Isaiah 2:2. God has ordained the end time Church to be a city without walls.
Zechariah 2:4. What is Jerusalem in these last days?
Hebrews 12:22-24. So Jerusalem for us in these later days refers to the Church of Christ.
We are told that Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls. That is why when the Church age began in Acts 2:1-4, the first manifestation was the ingathering of multitudes.
But we discover that to every divine agenda there is always a satanic opposition.
1 Corinthians 16:9. Church Gist. The agenda of God is for the gathering of multitudes. Then it means that the opposition of hell is against the gathering of the multitudes.
It is true that this is what God has packaged for the end time Church so when we are praying about multitudes, we are not just praying about what we desire. No! We are praying the end time agenda of God and that end time agenda of God will be opposed by the enemy.
That is why it becomes vital for us to recognize that the growth of Church of Christ is spiritual warfare.
Ephesians 6:12. Yes, we are going out for souls, we are going out to the harvest field, we are following up our converts but when we are doing what will look like physical work, there is spiritual war.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4. We may be engaging in physical work but there is a spiritual war and it is winning the spiritual war that causes the physical work to produce.
That is when the force of faith becomes central. You can’t win spiritual battles without faith. It takes faith to quench every fiery darts of the enemy.
1 John 5:4. No faith, no victory!
Ephesians 6:16. Church Gist. There is no weapon that hell can engage that faith cannot silence. That is why the pathway to victory in every spiritual engagements is the pathway of faith.
However, faith cannot be assumed rather it must be consciously cultivated. Church Gist. We are to live by faith, we are to walk by faith, we are to war with faith but it is impossible for faith to be assumed. You don’t assume faith, you develop faith, you cultivate faith.
That is why all through this week, we are looking at this line of exhortations that is captioned – THE PRAYER OF FAITH IS THE PRAYER THAT WORKS.
If you don’t want prayer to become a religious exercise, then you must be willing to engage the platform of faith.
It is faith injected in prayer that causes prayer to produce results.
Very quickly this morning, what is faith?
Faith can simply be defined in our context as engaging God’s capacity for delivery through the altar of prayer.
Matthew 9:27-29. It is important to understand that prayer does not deliver according to its ability but according to our faith in its ability. It is your confidence in God’s capacity that determines the response to your prayer. Church Gist. So it becomes important for us to understand that when it comes to the subject of prayer, it is about engaging God’s capacity.
When the Word of God was teaching us about the weapons of the Spirit, you know, the various aspects of the weapon, we were told that one of those weapons as we saw earlier in Ephesians 6:16 is the shield of faith and that is the weapon of victory.
But in verse 10 of the same Scripture, we were told; be strong in the Lord…
So faith is about engaging His might, His capacity.
So when you talk about the prayer of faith, it is not about what you can do, no. The prayer of faith is about what God can do.
It’s important to know therefore that whatever God can do, faith in God will make happen.
What produces results for us on the altar of prayer is not the length of the prayer, no. It’s not the agility that we display in prayer,no. It is the faith injected into prayer.
There are many individuals today that you Know, engage the altar of prayer tirelessly but yet there is no response to the prayer because it is not according to your prayer but according to your faith – your faith is the difference Maker.
James 1:6. What determines whether we receive answers to prayer is our faith. It is the faith content in prayer. That is what makes the difference.
From this day onward, I see your prayer securing heavenly attention.
Somebody believe it, say a loud ‘Amen’.
Like we said earlier, your faith must not be assumed. Don’t just assume you have faith, you cultivate it, you build it.
How do we build faith? Church Gist. We build our faith in the Word concerning any prayer subject before engaging the altar of prayer.
That means, I can tell, you can tell whether the prayer would be answered before you start praying.
How can you tell? Have you come in faith? Hebrews 11:6. Your approach to God requires faith.
Hebrews 10:23. We must ensure that every time we are coming towards God, we are coming with the instrument of faith. Hebrews 10:22.
There is a requirement for faith before our prayer can deliver.
This is important and that means that, we must build it on the Word. Church Gist. Romans 10:17. It is not just about praying, it is not just about having the point to pray, it is about having the faith in what you are praying.
That is the difference maker.
There are many times you go before the Lord and even you know that by the time you are leaving that prayer, you know that, that prayer has not worked because there was no faith injected in it but when you pray in faith, inside you, there is a ‘yes’.
You know that, that prayer has caught heaven’s response because faith was injected into every statement that was made.
I pray that, for each one of us, the grace to keep building and cultivating our faith, I see that grace come upon us in the name of Jesus. Church Gist.
What that means is that anytime you go before the Lord in prayer, make sure you allow the Word of God concerning the prayer subject enters your spirit man because faith comes by the Word.
It’s important to know that what we do not demand, God cannot deliver. James 4:2. It’s not enough just to build your faith, you must make specific demands.
The blind men came to Jesus and Jesus said; what do you want. We want our sights. Okay, receive it.
I pray that for each one of us, God will grant us the grace to begin to engage the altar of prayer profitably in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rise up to me this morning. Lift your hands before the Lord and give thanks to Him for His Word that you have received this morning.
Father thank you! You are worthy of praise.

Now, take grace to build your faith. Lord I receive grace to keep building my faith. I don’t want prayer to be a religious exercise for me. I receive grace to keep developing my faith, to keep building up my faith.
Thank you Mighty God in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Prayer – The grace you have requested from God shall begin manifesting in your life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Church Gist.
From now, your faith will deliver, every moment on the altar of prayer will procure answers in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now begin to speak to your day, your week, make your declarations concerning the day, concerning the week. Speak with faith right now.

Father thank you, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Now your day is declared blessed, your week is declared blessed, the God that daily loads us with benefits will load you this week in the name of Jesus.
Today is the last day of this glorious month, whatever is meant for October that is yet to answer for you, I declare that before the day concludes, it’s delivered into your hands.
For you, this month you will enter into, will open a new chapter but for October there shall be no carryover.
You are blessed in every areas of your life. You are blessed in the name of Jesus Christ.
