IF ANYTHING IN YOUR BODY AND LIFE IS NOT WORKING, THE POWER OF GOD IS NECESSARY TO MAKE IT WORK
GOD RELEASES HIS POWER TO RELIEVE THE PAIN AND HURTS OF HIS PEOPLE
WHEN YOU SENSE THE ENEMY’S AGENDA THAT REQUIRES A RELEASE OF GOD’S POWER, CRY OUT TO HIM FOR HIS POWER MANIFESTATION.

I want to charge our hearts on the subject of “THE PURPOSE OF GOD’S POWER”. We started this in the morning. Like I said, I’m going to just give a sharp charge and then pray and we are through. What is the aim of God’s power? Church Gist. Because we are in the days of His power. Is God showing His power just for show? Is He just trying to show that He’s something? We started with some of it last night, we continued this morning but we are going to be rounding it off tonight.
Exodus 3:7-8. Why will God release His power? Yesterday, we saw the dimension of God’s power coming to demonstrate the love of God. Church Gist. First of all, we said last night that God releases His power to introduce Himself, for people to know that He’s the Almighty. That He’s not sharing His might with any devil. We also said yesterday that God demonstrates His power to communicate His love. Church Gist. Then, we continued in the morning session this morning, where we saw four reasons why the power of God is necessary. There, we saw that;
- The power of God is necessary for the enforcement of the purpose of God. Church Gist. God has a purpose to fulfill whether in the life or in the land or in a nation, then He releases His power to enforce His purpose.
- The power of God is necessary for the frustration of the plans of the devil. We saw that tonight, where we saw how the power of God moved and went to somebody’s village where the enemy kept the deposit of that family in a room. Church Gist. And we saw another one where the goat went out of her body. The power of God is demonstrated to frustrate the plans of the devil. The Bible says, “for this purpose was the Son of man manifested that He might destroy the world of the devil”.
- The power of God is necessary to overcome resistance. Church Gist. When the enemy tries to resist your life and your destiny, the power of God is necessary to overcome that resistance.
- The power of God is necessary to get the work done, to make things to work. Church Gist. If anything in your body and life is not working, the power of God is necessary to make it to work.
I will add two more tonight and that is;
- The power of God is necessary for the relief of the pains and the hurts of God’s people. Church Gist. He releases His power to relieve pain and to relieve the hurts of His people. Jesus went about doing good and healing, rescuing people from pains, hurts and affliction. Very important.
- The power of God is necessary for the judgment of the adversary and the forces of darkness. Church Gist. God told the Children of Israel, He said to Moses, “tell Pharaoh to let my people go and if He will not let my people go, I will slay his son”. The first borns of Egypt was slain in order for God’s people to be set free and the Egyptians that did not want to let them go, who pursued them into the Red Sea, they were drowned in the middle of the Sea. Church Gist. That is a major assignment we do in the healing and deliverance services and crusades – to set satanic altars on fire, to confront the powers of witches and wizards, the powers that will not let you go, to let those powers laid to rest.
- I am here today by the anointing of the Holy Ghost and I declare today, every altar in your father’s house, every shrine in your community, every power of hell that has tied down your life, that is fighting your destiny, that is fighting your ministry, that is fighting your nation, today, they shall be laid to rest!
- Every force of hell that will not let you rest, by the prophetic and apostolic mantle of God on my life, I declare that they shall be laid to rest!
- if you believe that, shout the loudest Amen.
Get ready, because the judgment is coming. When we finished our crusade in Jalingo about two years ago, judgment was released and in less than five days, the head killer in that territory was laid to rest. Church Gist. The head killer, five days after the crusade.
- I announce, I stand here by the same prophetic and apostolic mantle, every force of darkness and their agents that is bent on causing destruction of lives and properties, that will not let your life wnr your family to go, they shall be laid to rest in the name of Jesus!
- Thank you Master for hearing in Jesus’ name.
What is the secret of God’s power?
- Becoming a son of God is the way to power.
As many as received Him, He gave them power to become the sons of God. Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary, shed His blood for you and me, to receive us into sonship with God, that will cause us to live victorious life on the earth and give us the guarantee of eternity in Heaven. For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul? And what shall a man be profited if he lost his soul in eternal hell fire? So, the first thing that must happen is the acceptance of Jesus into our lives, the forgiveness of our sins, reconciliation with God, becoming a child of God and then His power is guaranteed in our lives.

No wonder Paul the Apostle said: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto Salvation.” Romans 1:16. And so, whence you receive the Gospel of Jesus that God sent His Son to come and die for the sins of the World and you compel yourself like a sinner, not just a Churchgoer. Church Gist. Because you can be going to Church and still be living in sin. And you recognize yourself as a sinner and you receive the help of God to live for Him and receive forgiveness of your sin and become a new person and begin to live in a newness of life, then you will connect with the power over sin; power over sickness; power over the forces of darkness and of course at the end of it all, the guarantee of eternity with God in Heaven.
-Somebody say a loud Amen! Say a louder Amen!
And then the next thing to do after you have connected with power. Every time you sense the agenda of the enemy that requires a release of God’s power, you cry out to God for His power manifestation. Church Gist. The children of Israel cried and God heard their cry. Exodus 3:7. Psalm 63:1-3. How many want to see God’s power tonight? So you cry out to God. The first thing is to be the son of God, the son and a daughter of God. By handing over your life to Jesus. The next thing is to make demands on His power for the turnaround of your story and for the change of your situation.
