While preaching at the End of the Month Celebration Service, Bishop Abioye emphasized the importance of God’s Word to the visions we receive. He also stated the reason behind the speed being experienced in the Ministry.
“He said, “Vision gives you a picture of your future, but you need revelation of the Word to incubate it and make it bring forth. Revelation is the incubator of vision. Vision is like an egg laid by a hen, but the hen does not just lay the egg and go away. You don’t catch vision and start running. The hen sits on the egg for 21 days to incubate it. I don’t know how many minutes it takes for an egg to be laid, but assuming 5 minutes, but 21 days, the hen sits on the egg. This is why we have problems. Why are many things we see don’t come to pass? Because we fail to sit on what we see for it to incubate by the Word. Permit me to say, why is God helping us to see speed in the assignment in the ministry? We don’t just receive the vision, we sit on the vision, incubating it by the Word of God, surrounding it by the Word of God.”
